Ask to join. You may ask anyone participating in the RP. Unless I already invited you, in which case just post.
You may only use one Pokemon aside from the Pokemon you receive from Professor Rowan for the challenge.

Basic information
You and a few other trainers were chosen by Professor Rowan to participate in the Le Évolution Recherché en Pierre Challenge, or in other words The Evolution Stone Search Challenge. You are allowed on Pokemon of any kind or origin to take with you. You will receive a letter of invitation and a Pokeball holding a Pokemon who will evolve from the stone you are required to find to pass this challenge. Each stone is hidden somewhere in the Sinnoh Region and all you have is a slight clue as to where it is. Once everyone in your team evolves their gifted Pokemon, the challenge is over, and the participants are allowed to keep that Pokemon.

Of course there were thousands of people there. They were all crowded onto tight stands watching intently as she commanded her Pokemon to use Psybeam. Her pink cat-like Pokemon obliged and shot a beam of psychic power up at the Shadow Ball created only seconds earlier. The crowds cheered as tiny sparkles covered the whole stage and she gave a bow. It was awkward though... Performing was her mother's forte...

A small beeping noise knocked her right off the stage and into reality. A young female trainer groggily slapped her hand on the off button to her alarm clock and halfway pushed herself out of bed. "Ashen!" An annoyed tone called from down the stairs and through the trainer's open door. Judging by the pitch, Ashen's mother was supposed to be out of the house by now and she wasn't for some reason. "Ok, ok... I'll be there..." Ashen, the trainer, called back sleepily. Finally with a small sigh, Ashen proceeded to pushed herself out of her warm resting spot and get dressed.

"Ok, so you need to make sure that you have everything for today and tomorrow because I have to go out all the way to Hearthome. Harry is at his friends house for the weekend and will be staying there until I get back. If you need anything just give me a call." Ashen's mother gave her instructions hastily and pointed to her Poketch on her wrist. "Oh, and a letter arrived today with a Pokeball, but I didn't have enough time to check over it, so be careful. You never know who is trying to trick you these days. Bye!" Ashen sighed gently as she watched her mother give her final instructions while walking to the front door and finally just walking straight through it to find her Pidgeot. At the mention of a letter, the young trainer wandered over to the counter and picked up the official envelope.

Dear Ashen,
You have been selected for the Évolution recherché en pierre challenge sponsored by Professor Rowan and the Official Kalos League. You may have heard of it, or maybe you haven't. But for right now you need to bring a single Pokemon and fly to Sandgem Town where we wil give you further instructions. Encased in the Pokeball you have is a Misdreavus. You will also need to bring this Pokemon along with you. We hope to see you soon to give you more information.

Ashen quickly read the letter and put it back before reaching for the Pokeball. Misdreavus was a popular Pokemon in contests or so she had heard, but Ashen herself had never participated in a contest nor ever intend on doing so. The thought of doing this challenge sent shivers up her spine. She's seen this show enough times on television to know how it works; you receive a Pokemon, travel the region with other trainers to find that Pokemon's evolutionary stone and the other trainer's evolutionary stones, and then when you finish the challenge you get to keep that Pokemon. It was fun to watch, but to do? Ashen thought for a moment before picking up the letter in her free hand. "Alright. This seems fun. Why not?" She mumbled to herself before calling her mother on her Poketch.

"The Evolution Stone Challenge? Ashen that's wonderful!" Her mother's voice emitted from the smal wrist device. "Yeah, so I've got to find a way to get from Snowpoint to Sandgem within the next day or so... Oops. Never mind." Ashen replied, finally finding plane tickets to Jubilife City where the walk to Sandgem Town would be much simpler. She rushed around the empty house, giving details to her mom as she grabbed her belongings. A small white shoulder bag, a grey beret, and her beloved Espeon's Pokeball. Ashen finally stopped by the front door and sighed as she finished her call with her mom. "Ok, let's do this." Ashen said to herself as she opened the door to the wintery town of Snowpoint.

-after a long Plane Ride to Jubilife City-

Ashen stretched as she walked through the busy streets of Jubilife. Large advertisements for the newest Poketch apps and sales going on in the Pokemart were displayed everywhere. That and the loads of noise emanating from every corner of the city went hand in hand. It was loud yes, but in all fairness it seemed normal; even to a girl who has lived in the frosty mountains all her life. Ashen gazed down the Main Street at the promising route to Sandgem Town. It was surprising how peaceful the grassy route was compared to the bustle of Jubilife City. She continued to walk on until she reached the route and traveled through that.

Ashen wanted to hug all of Sandgem Town as she arrived. It was a long journey from Snowpoint to this peaceful town; one that Ashen would be hesitant to make again. The orange Pokemon Center fell upon her eyes first, so the young trainer decided to go to the Pokemon Center and rest for a few moments before meeting Professor Rowan.

 

[Peachy Ace]

Diamond woke up to the Sunlight Beaming on his Face. Diamond walked down the stairs to see his Father and his Lucario opening a package. "Diamond you got a Package. You've been selected Evolution Stone Challenge. Diamond's Father said. He handed Diamond a Pokeball from the package and a note from Prof. Rowan. Diamond opened the ball to see a Stubborn Kirlia. The Kirlia didnt listen to Diamonds Commands and was returned into its Monster Ball. Diamond mesmorized the Note and Quickly grabed his Lucario's Monster Ball and ran out the door.

"Ok. Whats the fastest way to get from Iron Island, to Sandgem Town? Diamond asked himself as he looked for the ferry. Diamond flashed his ticket and was soon sailing off to Jubifile City. "So Im supposed to be finding Evolutionary Stones? Got It!" He said as the ferry departed.

- After a Ferry Ride to Jubifile-

"Yes were finally in Jubifile City." Diamond said. Lucky smiled and they both walked down the ferry into the city. As they were walking they passes by the Poketch Store. "Maybe I can buy a Poketch before I get to Sandgem? I have enough money." Diamond said. Diamond made up his mind and purchased a Poketch. Diamond Admired his Watch while on the way to Sandgem Town. A few minutes Later Diamond was in Sandgem and he didnt knotice. "Wow this watch can make time pass by cant it." Diamond said. Diamond walked toward Prof. Rowans Lab and Smiled at his Lucario as he walks in.

 

[Blonde]

Key was fast asleep in his bed, it was comfortable and engulfed his body. The young trainer with his messy two tone hair color; Cyan blue and black, wearing nothing but a wife beater tank top and his boxer shorts, was dreaming of being worthy enough to fight Brandon (trainer ruby), Pokemon champion of the hoenn region. The small amount of drool had leaked from Key's mouth as his mind became hazy and drifted off into the battle.

In Key's dream world..

"It's the last match of the day folks! It's the match we've all been waiting for. Pokemon League Champion Brandon vs Up incoming Pokemon Master Key, LET'S GET TO IT!" said the announcer.
Key smiled and looked around him, he felt the cheering of the crowd surround him, he held his arms up and waved them fiercely back and forth. The sound of his cheering section sung his name. "Key! Key! You can do it! ♥" they said. He smiled and looked over at his opponent Brandon who was calm and had his arms crossed, it seemed that he was lost in thought. Key smirked and held his hand out towards Brandon, with a smirk and a thumbs up he spoke, "Brandon, You've been my idle since I was little and I want to show you what I've got! Believe it!"
Brandon smirked, he looked over at Key with fire in his eyes, he became pumped.

But as the match was about to start a distant alarm went off, and his dream world came crashing down. His eyes sprung open, beside him an alarm that was a spitting image of a Mudkip, his lips pursed and what was left was a smirk and a soft chuckle to himself. He could feel the clinging sensation of his dried up drool on his mouth and slightly on his cheek. Key slammed his hand down on the alarm and pushed himself up, he rubbed the back of his head. Each one of his fingers gripping small parts of his cyan wave blue hair.

He looked around his room and noticed his Pokemon all laid out to sleep. His Swampert, Swift was his name, was laid out on in the corner of his room, against the window. Key laughed as he saw the small snot bubble condensing in and out of his nose as he slept. His Jolteon, and his Meowth were both curled up around each other at the foot of his bed, It was cute to the eye. His Munchlax, Gascan was beside him in the bed, him and Key were quite a like when it came to sleep and foot, Key rubbed the top of the little Pokemon's head and stroked it careful not to wake him. Key slowly pulled his feet out of bed, but stopped instantly when he felt the slight horn of his Flygon's head; Curry was his name, against the middle section of his foot. "Ah.. Curry always sleeping close to me." Key proceeded to slowly climb out of his bed from the front and made his way to the window. He gazed outside, the sun had just arose from it's slumber. He glanced down at the pool that was in his backward, and saw his Dewgong, Ice, already awake and swimming around the pool playing with his toys. In total Key had about eight Pokemon in his house.
Jolteon, Meowth, Munchlax, Flygon,Dewgong, Swampert were his first ever team. Then he has Haxorus and Chimchar he later on caught during his travels, and the next team he wanted to train up.

As he made his way downstairs, the slot in the door opened up, he knew because the squeak of the door was loud and was actually never fixed. "Key hunny! can you get the mail for mom!" Key replied back, "Yes mom!" he smiled and slide down the stairs, gracefully landing on his feet. He picked up the mail and one by one he went through it till he saw a letter addressed to him. He opened it:

Dear Key,
You have been selected for the Évolution recherché en pierre challenge sponsored by Professor Rowan and the Official Kalos League. You may have heard of it, or maybe you haven't. But for right now you need to bring a single Pokemon and fly to Sandgem Town where we will give you further instructions. Encased in the Poke-ball you have is a Nidorino. You will also need to bring this Pokemon along with you. We hope to see you soon to give you more information.

Key thought to himself, "What Pac- OH!" he smiled as he saw the package come through the mail. As he opened it he saw the shiny ball inside. "Cool, another adventure" Key was in Fortree city, and understood that it would take some time to get there but he didn't mind the flight. As he ran into the kitchen and explained his situation to his mother, Gym leader Winona smiled at her son and told him to hurry and pack, and so he did. He clipped the new Pokemon, Nidorino to his belt and kissed his mom goodbye, but not before telling her to tell his Pokemon goodbye for him. "Alright mom bye!" he said as he made his way to the airport for his adventure.

After the Plane ride

Key had landed in Jubilife City, he smiled as the slight noise of the streets filled him with excitement. First things first, he headed over the Pokemon center. The large Crimson roof was dead center of the town.

"Sweetie, get up!" Kay's pale blue eyes fluttered open. The soft yellow sun shone on Kay's pale face. She threw off her covers, and slid out of bed. Taking off her nightgown, she yawned. After putting her socks, sweater, and skinny jeans, she walked downstairs. Kay yawned and tied up her hair in a pony. She slumped by the counter, and picked up a letter assigned to herself.She read it in her head:

Dear Kay,
You have been selected for the Évolution recherché en pierre challenge sponsored by Professor Rowan and the Official Kalos League. You may have heard of it, or maybe you haven't. But for right now you need to bring a single Pokemon and fly to Sandgem Town where we will give you further instructions. Encased in the Pokeball you have is a Petilil. You will also need to bring this Pokemon along with you. We hope to see you soon to give you more information.

Kay's eyes widened and she tugged on her mother's sleeve. "What dear?" She asked, then noticing the letter. Kay's mother read it aloud. "Oh, congratulations sweetie!" Her mother gave her a hug. "Mom, I have to leave though..." Kay looked up in "Don't worry about it hon, I'll ask winston to fly you there." Kay was then excused to pack her clothes. Her mother called their butler out and he went to fetch the plane ride.

After Kay packed, she hugged her mother, and took the envelope and Monster Ball with her, she ran off to the plane.

~One plane ride later~

Kay groaned and stretched out her arms as Winston wished her farewells. She looked around her surroundings curiously.

 

[Softty]

Hooves pounded against the dirt road, the flame of a powerful mane leaving long strokes of ice gray. By the pokemon's side, a dark motorcycle sped down route 202, it's engine roaring at its rider's command. The rapidash whinnied with the engine, and the rider could tell the Pokemon was keeping a slow, moderate pace so they could keep up. Noticing the rider giving an OK signal, the rapidash stared into the dark helmet and neighed, accelerating into its full speed.

Floaroma Town One Day Prior
"Miss?"
A pair of knuckles rapped on her door. Alice stood in her silk pajamas, bathing in the gentle morning sun that leaked into her room from the window, covering a whole portion of the outer wall.
"G'morning, Ivan." She mumbled, still clouded by sleep.
"Good morning, you have a letter."
Ivan, a tall and bulky man in his mid thirties, handed her the package. Blinking away her drowsiness, she sleepily skimmed the letter, then stared at the pokeball attached, "Oh?" Blinking once more, her red eyes cleared from their mist, and widened with burning excitement. Reaching to hook her arm around her personal assistant's neck, she gave him a peck on the cheek, which he narrowed his eyes to in suspicion.
"Ever heard of the Évolution recherché en pierre challenge?"
Ivan sighed, hardly understanding a word the miss was saying.
"Never mind that, here, read this and get out of my room." Alice chirped, handing him the letter and pushing him out the door. Speeding around her room, she gathered a small bag of her belongings and prepared herself for whats to come.
"Miss, from your reaction, I understand you will partake in this challenge?"
The door burst open, and Alice stood, fully dressed and nodding her head while brushing her teeth. A vein popped in the man's skull, and Ivan did his best to contain the anger seething in his voice.
"I'll go fetch the car."
"No, go get my personal vehicle ready. I'm going alone." She shut the door, and the man sharply exhaled into his palm.

Minccino blinked its round, hazel eyes, and stared up at Alice. Her eyes widened, completely awestruck by the adorable pokemon. The two immediately clicked, as the furball ran up her arm and onto her shoulder, cuddling her cheek.
"Don't worry, I'll complete this challenge." She giggled, then placed him onto her bed. Glancing around the room, Alice frowned, knowing the little menace was always somewhere close.
"Taz?" She called, and a dark mist gathered into the shadow pokemon, Gengar.
"Be a dear, and look after our new friend for a moment, will you?"
Leaving the room, the Gengar and Minccino glanced at one another. Opening it's dagger lined mouth, the ghost's red eyes stared down at the small pokemon with viscous menace. The illusion aspect would have scared the wits out of even the bravest hearts. Minccino innocently blinked, and flashed the ghost a wicked smile. Gengar frowned and sat down the bed, waiting for his trainer, a little creeped out by the Minccinco.


Alice took off her helmet, parked in front of Sandgem pokecenter. Running a gloved hand through her short hair, she smiled down at her pokeball.
