Private/Closed Legends Arceus: Discussion Chronicles

Name: Yuki (有希)
Nickname: Ralts Girl
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Physical Appearance: Yuki is a short girl who has long, messy dark brown hair that falls halfway down her back and has grey eyes. She has several scrapes, which she insists was just her being reckless.
Clothing: Yuki mostly just wears the uniform given to her, even when not on duty. Unless she needs to wash it, then she wears a black shirt with black pants (she got these during one of her brief stays with the clans, she got rid of the rest of the clan uniform, though) This is mostly because she doesn't fully understand human economics, thus hasn't bought any new clothes. However, once she does understand how money works, she will start wearing greens and whites, probably having multiple outfits.
Personality: Yuki is extremely oblivious when it comes to sarcasm and jokes, taking everything literally. If it's nonsensical, she looks at people in utter confusion. Yuki also is clueless about human society and basic economics. After all, she grew up in a place where the Pokemon just either shared or treaded something useful for something useful. At the same time, she is a genuinely sweet person. She tends to make nice gestures and enjoys seeing smiles on people's faces. She hates disagreements and arguments. She especially finds the argument between the human settlements before she found Jubilife absolutely ridiculous. If she gets overwhelmed by something she dislikes, she will flee. Yuki hates Pokeballs, finding them to be like prisons for her friends.
Skills: Yuki excels at understanding Pokemon, being raised by them herself. She cannot get any specific info unless it comes from her family, but she can get a general sense of what they're saying, though she can misinterpret it. She is also very trustworthy to wild Pokemon due to her unconscious body language around them. She is decent at basic survival, being able to cook, and being raised outside of civilization, but she is terrible at sneaking, creating items that only humans would use (Pokeballs, potions, etc...), and even communicating with other humans.
Research Focus: N/A she is just there to fulfill her mother's wish of "learning more about humans and rejoining their society" and helping humans and Pokemon co-exist better
History: Yuki's biological parents died. No one knows how, and the Gardevior that found her found no traces of what happened. So the Gardevior took her back to live with the other Ralts members of the Ralts line. While the tiny human was met with confusion, concern, and general distrust at first, they grew to accept the child as their own. She grew up happily, but her mother knew better than to simply let her stay there. She was a human, therefore she needed to eventually move toward human society. When Yuki was around six, she was taken to a human settlement and dropped off there, and the clan named her Yuki. However, about a week later, Yuki returned to her family. Her mom was disappointed, but she supposed it was only natural that she would want to return home. She tried again four years later, and at that time Yuki stayed for around a month before returning. This time, the Gardevior was mad. Typically Ralts were independent at this point! What was she doing wrong?! She kept dropping Yuki off at the human settlement, and Yuki kept returning, though she did seem to be able to understand her own species better. Around two months ago, Yuki came across someone from Jubilife. At first, Yuki was extremely cautious of this human. Most humans she had encountered had some sort of dislike towards other humans that she couldn't understand, which made her weary of them. Though, over time, Yuki became less afraid. This one seemed friendly. This one didn't seem to dislike whole groups of humans for what was practically nothing. After getting to know the human, they suggested that she looked into joining the Galaxy Corps. Especially since they are about to start researching Pokemon and Yuki seemed like a natural. Yuki accepted and left, going to become a Pokemon Master Jubilife Villiage to join the survey corps, one of her sisters following.
Family: The group of the Ralts line that took her in, one of the Gardevior being her mother.

Pokémon:
Species/Type: Ralts (Psychic/Fairy)
Nickname: Tulip
Gender: Female
Ability: Trace
Appearance: Tulip is slightly larger than normal, and her horns are more circular.
Nature/Personality: Tulip is a modest Pokemon, tending to diminish her successes. She tends to treat Yuki like a favorite older sister and is probably the Ralts closest to her other than Yuki's mom. She isn't easily startled, though she can be overwhelmed if there are too many negative emotions.
Moves:
  • Draining Kiss
  • Hypnosis
  • Teleport
  • Confusion

Name: Bo Dan 'Creature' Lake
Nickname(s)[3]:
Creature- His friends used to call him Creature cause he spent a lot of time outside running around in tall grass and sneaking up on people.
Little Bastard- His older brother called him that. Please don't call him that.
Bo Bo Bo- His mom called him that. Why? I dunno, but it at least explains where he got his weird behavior from.
Gender: Male/he/him
Age: 17
Sexuality: Straight, but will let his homies know they look good
Trainer Class: Bug Catcher
Personality: He's impulsive, unhinged, and borderline feral, but he's trained to a degree. He can be respectful and follow rules. He sees himself as polite and respectful but he can oftentimes come off as blunt or careless. He's also a bit of a slop and has relatively poor manners, but overlooking his negatives. He's a hard working boy with good intentions and a desire to help others.

Appearance; He stands at 5'5' Ft. Weighing 138 lbs. He has lavender eyes, he has short bright crimson red hair parted down the middle in the front and combed back. His skin is relatively pale for someone that spends a lot of time outside. He's a fairly thin boy with some decent muscle build considering he moves around a lot. He has a couple scars along his arms, legs, and torso from years of getting hurt or in trouble including a five inch scar that runs from his chin and along the left side of his jawline.

Clothing;

New attire; He wears a kimono top with a lily pad/water lily design featuring blue dragonflies on the sleeves and around the collar. He wears matching pants and red bandages wrapped around his forearms and shins. A long sleeveless fur coat made from gogoat leaves. He wears a green headband and hat that usually hangs off his shoulders when he's in town or inside buildings. He wears geta with mint green strings and dark brown wood.

Items:

a bamboo bug catching net. It has a thick rope attached to it, so Bo can wear it like a backpack. He also puts items in it too from time to time. Sometimes it's a wacking stick and sometimes it's a backpack and occasionally it's a ladle for stirring soup, bug I digress. (Bo likes to make bug puns btw)

Bo's Journal- Bo's journal is a book detailing all the various bugs he's seen and learned about over the years.

Skills: Very knowledgeable about bugs. Though not quite experienced as he wants to be and still has a long way to go.

Due to Bo's time spent in the wild he has a lot of survival experience. Searching for food. Knowing what is and isn't safe to eat. Because of this, he also has good experience rationing food.

History: Bo grew up with his two mother and two siblings. He didn't remember his parents very well. He was raised by his older brother, Bhang and helped raise his younger sister, Gwen. Bo was seven when, his sixteen year old brother began raising him. His younger sister was three at the time. It was hard at first, but his older brother had his pokémon to protect them. It didn't help build shelters or collect food, but at least they were safe from the occasional starly or shinx. Though if they encountered something stronger like a like a luxio, they'd need to avoid it at all costs.

Admittedly their younger years was spent eating fruits and berries. Lots of fruits and berries, and the occasional magikarp fishing. When Bhang's pokemon became stronger, the less they had to worry about getting attacked. The older and more mature Bhang got, the fewer responsibilities his brother had to deal with. Then eventually their younger sister began dealing with chores around the home and eventually began gathering berries herself.

They had spent most of their lives in a wooden hut built into the side of a forested hill which eventually grew into a fairly decent fort as they slowly dug deeper into the hill over the years. Bhang, the eldest brother eventually would grow up to become a architect. Eventually taking his skills to the test when he'd help build some of the buildings in the eventual Jubilife Village. His sister would eventually grow up to become a herbologist. Her main focus in life was the plant life and many ways to use it. Bo on the other hand mainly focused on the bugs that ate the plants.

At one point in Bo's life, when he had been searching for berries, him and his older brother managed to find a scyther with it's arms caught under a large rock. It took quite a bit of convincing, but Bo managed to get his brother to let him help free the bug. It was pretty difficult to get the scyther free since it didn't exactly trust them, so getting close enough to help was hard enough. Bhang almost flat out told him to leave it, but they managed to get the pokémon free. Before it left, it looked back at Bo. Pokémon don't speak human languages, but for some reason Bo felt that he might see it again one day.

Nincada, Boa (Starting pokémon)
scratch, bug bite, false swipe and mud-slap
Will eventually learn absorb, dig and aerial ace, and replace false swipe, mud-slap and scratch
- Boa is a ver determined pokémon and very protective too. Especially protective of Toar, and wishes no harm for it's ghostly shell.

Shedinja, Toar (Will acquire after Boa evolves, of course)
shadow claw, metal claw, dig and sand attack
Will eventually learn phantom force and block. Will replace shadow claw and metal claw
- Toar is a relatively paranoid pokémon and will shy away from interaction with others.

Scyther/Scizor, Eku (Will acquire while on adventure at some point)
Eku's moves: quick attack, fury cutter, wing attack and night slash
Will eventually swap fury cutter for x-scissor and quick attack for bullet punch when evolves
- Eku is Bo's first pokémon, he's laid back and rarely takes anything seriously. He can be fairly sassy from time to time.

Yanma/Yanmega, Nunti (Will acquire while on adventure at some point)
Nunti's moves: gust, quick attack, double team and aerial ace
Nunti will eventually learn air slash and bug buzz.
- Nunti is hyper and is always moving. She is very friendly. Sometimes too friendly and has no sense of personal space.

Fun fact!

Bo, Eku and Nunti/nunti bo are all references to okinawan weapons. His siblings Gwen and Bhang are bo/staff related names but are chinese as opposed to okinawan/japanese. ɡuən/ gwən, Chinese: 棍; pinyin: gùn; lit. 'rod, stick 棒; pinyin: Bàng; lit. 'rod, club'.

Boa and Toar put together make the words boat oar. Which is also an english translation for the eku. A tool used by okinawans to... row a boat! Duh, but it also has a history of being used as a martial arts weapon. The more you know!

For those of you who aren't in Discord, feel free to roam around in your area a bit, have fun, get in trouble, fall in love, unsolved a murder, whatever you feel like doing, I'll let you know when it's time for the boss battle. It will be an Alpha Luxray, so stay tune to my posts as I might give hints when we're moving towards it!

Guys, this is hard more, not easier than the game mode.

A stack of Oran Berries? Nah, you're lucky if you get two. I know in the game you can farm resources but we're in a world where your oc is not a professional champion who came from the future, tons of Pokemon feed on these resources. And also, remember Pokemon fear humans as much as humans fear them, a Pokemon won't take being captured so casually, they're gonna cry, kick and bite until they accept the fact that the trainer isn't as bad as they seem to be.

@Hecotoro Let the bedazzling commence.
Name: Fujiki Ohshuoka
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Physical Appearance: A toothy grin rarely leaves Fujiki's rosy face, and her wide purple eyes sparkle with an enthusiasm and wonder that (much to her chagrin) her superiors tend to call "child-like". Don't be fooled by her slim physique and five-foot-one stature; she'll tell you she's better in a scrap than she looks! Her light-brown hair practically glows in the sunlight, and on the rare occasion she wears it out of a messy bun it flows down to her shoulders.
Clothing: Whatever she cobbled together from her steadily growing collection. She can where whatever she wants now, so why wouldn't she?!
Personality: In everything she does, Fujiki doesn't hold back. Dinnertime? She's chowing down! Something on her mind? You're gonna hear it! Researching Pokemon? Professor Laventon who?! Her every action is taken earnestly, and she isn't one to lie about or to herself. She's a free spirit, and while her whims may not always take her in the directions her superiors want, she's certainly not carefree. After all, she can't enjoy her life if it's ended! Sure, she cares for her comrades and will do her best to defend them, but if it came down to her diving in front of a Pokemon move to spare one of them? Well...they'd better hope it missed.
Skills: Fujiki learned early on in life how to move undetected, but everything else? By the time she got to Hisui, she learned she was pretty much dead average. But who cares?! If she wants to do something, she'll just have to figure it out!
Research Focus: Whatever strikes her fancy.
History: Fujiki was born in the Johto region to a minor noble family. Her mother, Ho-Oh rest her soul, passed during childbirth and left her the only child to a resentful father. He never voiced his feelings to Fujiki, but he didn't need to; he mostly left her upbringing to a midwife and, as she got older, a series of maids and attendants. When Fujiki's father did speak to her, it was to impart in her the duty she held as a daughter of his noble house. Her life was rigid, strictly regimented, and she was expected to be a perfect daughter who would grow into a perfect woman.

She didn't want to be a perfect woman, though. She just wanted to be herself. She resented her father, her attendants, and the very walls of the mansion she spent nearly her entire life trapped within. By the time she was 15, Fujiki decided she'd had enough. In the dead of night she left her home, with hardly a word of goodbye to the "family" she was leaving behind, and, get this, she managed to secure a spot aboard a ship headed for a newly discovered land!

The Hisui region they called it! Fujiki spent the ride fantasizing about what kind of place she was headed to, and more importantly what kind of things she could do when she got there. She was free now, after all! No more father to glare down at her, no more attendants to whisper when they thought she was out of earshot; it was the opportunity to finally be who she wanted to be!

She had her run of apprenticeships when she arrived in Jubilife village a year ago, and she spent the year bouncing between them in an effort to do as many different things as she could. Farming? Finally the chance to get some fresh air! A few months as a clothier? She'd be able to make whatever she wanted to wear! Exploring Hisui's wilds? That one...gave her some pause. Getting a Pokemon partner would be fun, but she'd heard all kinds of stories of Survey Corps members getting hurt or worse on their expeditions. It sounded...kind of scary. She'd just have to be careful!

Pokémon:
Species/Type: Rufflet (Normal/Flying)
Nickname: Senta (A little on the nose, but derived from "Sentaku" which means "choice" in Japanese)
Gender: Male
Ability: Hustle
Appearance: Normal Rufflet, but wears an assortment of bandanas provided by Fujiki.
Nature/Personality: Rash/Mischievous - Senta gets himself into trouble more often than not, diving beakfirst into any battle that presents itself or anything else he wants for that matter. He's endlessly curious, especially when it comes to whether or not he can take an opponent.
Moves: Quick Attack, Aerial Ace

Injury System

Light Injuries - Roll 1d2
Moderate Injuries - Roll 1d6
Heavy Injuries - Roll 1d10

Health

Each character has a base 20 Max HP

Natural Recovery

Light injuries heal by 1 HP per day
Moderate injuries heal by 1 HP every 3 days
Heavy Injuries heal by 1 HP every week

Natural Recovery is fixed to a hard limit of healing 1 HP per set amount of time for the type of injury (not including medical help), not healing all wounds at separate rates.

Critical Condition

When your character's HP falls below 10, they are considered in 'critical condition' because they are closer to dead than alive. In this state characters heal slower and their injuries hamper their physical abilities.

Death Rolls

Once a character's health hits 0 they are allowed to perform up to three rolls to escape death.

Healing

Light Injuries & Moderate Injuries may be directly healed with an appropriate potion or pokémon move.

Heavy Injuries cannot be directly healed, however, potions and moves will double the recovery speed; thus, healing 2 HP per week instead of one.

Drinking a potion will result in harmful medicinal dregs being left in the body. The body needs time to expel these and so there is a limit to how many potions can be taken within a certain period of time.

Potions restore 1 HP and can be taken every 12 Hours

Hyper Potions and Above are restricted to ONCE every 2 weeks.

@Hecotoro, here is my new character we were talking about. I am still working on the history though. I will edit it when I think more on it.
Name: Saphire Jenny
Nickname: Saphi
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Physical Appearance:
01-10-23_10-58-23 PM.png

Clothing: Sapphire wears a tunic style shirt in a dark blue color that ends in the middle of her thighs. It is a wrapped style shirt that is tied with a belt around her middle. The belt is a red color that ties in the back. The sleeves of the tunic end just below the elbow and shows the black long sleeve undershirt that she wears. She wears a pair of black leggings that go into a pair of fur lined brown boots. Around her shoulders she wears a bag that settles on her hip in a comfortable way.
Personality: Saphi is very eager to learn what she can. She is a very curious person who acts first and thinks second. This does not necessarily mean that she is dumb, but her actions always take over when she is in the moment. She takes everyone's safety very seriously and will do what she can to protect those that are unable to help others. She is also very distracted by things and has been in trouble because of it in the past.
Skills:
1. She is great in seeing threats and knows how to avoid them when she can. That does not mean that she does not run into danger though. If she sees someone or a pokemon in trouble, she will be the first to help them.
2. She has some knowledge of using a slingshot. Though her parents did not like it when her and her sisters would shoot one another with them.
3. Been trained in ways of martial arts by her father who is a master since she was very young.
History:
Family: Father, Mother, 5 sisters, 4 aunts, 6 uncles, and 12 cousins.
Pokémon:

Species/Type: Buneary
Nickname: Justice
Gender: Female

Nobody attempt to buy the egg I mentioned from the merchants please, it's just a build up to a future plot. In other news,

Kawa will deliver everyone's new missions personally, it can be done in interactions on Discord, here on the rp thread, through pms, whichever way you prefer. I'll try to get to everyone asap so we can get started on the next chapter of this RP. Heads up to what's to come:

No new areas. At most, people will be sent to the areas already explored earlier, but not everyone.
Quests in Jubilife Village, this can go from helping out at the farms, gathering materials for the local shops, playing with the kids while their parents go out on errands or anything else you can think of, while staying in the village.
If your character is under 15hp, they will not be sent out of the village.
Pokemon can now be trained up more, highest level 25, you do not have to train them up that much, it's just a limit. REMINDER, newly caught Pokemon will be difficult to train, they will not listen, run away or attack. No more than three Pokemon, for now.

This next phase will be pretty simple and relaxed compared to the Luxray event, but it's just the calm before the storm :3

Here is how everyone will be split up for this upcoming rp week.
@Merciless Medic and @IDKWhatUserNameToDo Yua and Etsuko hospital assistants.
@kyuukestu @DarkHydraT @~Patriot~ day one gather berries, day two, gather wood, day three gather medical plants, day four honey
@EmoKitty21 @Draco Nightshade you're with me, Wroking on the Pokedex in Obsidian Fields.
@Ridge @ThAtGuY101 helping to set up the stables, moving things around, building the fences, making different spaces, should take four days, make it slow.

You guys can do a summary of each day, do interactions on discord, roleplay the entire day out, whichever way you want to, I'll let you know when we're moving on to the next phase.

@Draco Nightshade just in case it wasn't clear, so Tatsu right now is trapped with the Ponyta. So they shot a rain of ember at them, but Kawa and Sapphire kept running and made it far enough for the fire to land behind them, BUT Tatsu stayed behind by the boulder, so he's right now in between the Ponyta and a burning field. Here's a very detailed and well done drawing of it:

Are you okay with Tatsu being trapped?

Was told to go ahead and post this, sorry if anything is wrong-

Name: Itachi
Nickname: Weasel, Tachi
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Physical Appearance: "Skinny", but not the most, a sort of in between state, with dark blue eyes and dark brown-red hair, like Arezu's but darker.
Clothing: Basic Survey Team/Galaxy Team outfit, unless circumstances differ
Personality: Sarcastic, snarky, somewhat full of himself, can be joking, bit of a loner, but has a good heart as much as he tries to be on his own, and somewhat stubborn and jaded, as a result of him having a "tough" exterior.
Skills: Street smart, smooth talker, decently quick on his feet, self reliant, good at assessing a situation, getting out of sticky situations, and good at strategy/planning/etc, "survival instincts".
Research Focus: Tracking
History: Born and raised lovingly by a pair of traveling con artists, Itachi's early life consisted of traveling the world and learning the ways of his parent's "careers". However, when he was 14, when an extremely deadly lightning storm separated the boy from his parents, leaving Itachi on the outskirts of the Obsidian Fieldlands, believing his parents were gone, where he soon found his way into the recently-put-together Jubilife Village. Remembering his parents' lessons, Itachi attempted to continue where the family had left off, but soon getting caught. Itachi sound found him "working" for the Galaxy Team to pay off for what he attempted to steal. A year and a half later, Itachi, now about 16, and nicknamed "Weasel", was a full time member of the Galaxy Team, but yet some people in town were hesitant of the former criminal due to his past. However, having recently been given a Pokemon in the form of an Aipom, Weasel's life might change in another drastic way pretty soon.
Family: Two biological parents, who Itachi claims he isn't sure if they are still alive or not, but he presumes them to be dead.
Pokémon: Received an Aipom (which will be named Jojo, but isn't yet) roughly several days ago from the Galaxy Team, which he is still trying to adjust to having around and such, due to the current state of human and pokemon relations. "Final" team will be the Aipom, a Murkrow, and a Zangoose.

Research Focus: Tracking
History: When he was about eight to ten or so, the young boy who called himself Itachi ("weasel") suddenly appeared in Jubilife Village, with no indication of any nearby family or anything, and for a while, had a reputation as a local "thief", stealing from various residents of Jubilife, as well as the Diamond and Pearl clans, for which he willingly ventured out on his own into the wild (and seeming to take care of himself if got a bit beat up while out) until one day, upon trying to steal from the Galaxy Team HQ, he was caught in the act, and eventually "taken in" by them, joining the Survey Corps, where he still is.
Family: None (at least that are around). After a while of staying in Jubilife as part of the Galaxy Team, he was comfortable enough to tell others that his parents "abandoned" him just outside of the village, where he then spent the next while until he was taken in by the Galaxy Team, both to have a place to stay, and to repay his "debt" to the Team as a result of his theft.
Pokémon: Received a Mime Jr (which will be named Jojo, but isn't yet) roughly three days ago from the Galaxy Team, which he is still trying to adjust to having around and such, due to the current state of human and pokemon relations. "Final" team will be the Mime Jr, a Murkrow, and an Espeon.

This is perfect, thank you! You are accepted. :D
