There’s nothing inside the hunk of junk.

Its only purpose for the story was to get Spencer to come closer. But we could have them think there's something in there, if it'll get him to stick around.

Well, there probably should be something inside, to prevent Spencer from just leaving…

Maybe a clue… Spencer definitely is interested in it.

Oh that’ll definitely work. It won’t melt to Lumiere’s fire, and is still very old. Wonder how it was dragging her into the water.

Feel free to make the boulder break and reveal the cannonball in your next post. Also, even if Spencer has thoughts of leaving, I made it so that Jordan will guide him through the river to Lumiose so he'll still have reason to stick with her for some time, and any number of things can happen between then.

If Spencer has a sense of humor, he may point out the fact that what Jordan suspected to be litterbugs turned out to be an actual bug made of litter.
