LittleMissSunnshine's pokeart.

Please note since I don't have a scanner, or any other form of computer editing stuff like Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, all work here is done entirely by MS Paint. This should explain why the color and style is a bit plain and simple, but I'm pretty sure it's alright for such a limited program.

Anywho, lets get this train wreck a'rollin'.

My first picture is a newly hatched Riolu, which I dubbed, 'Aura.'

Aura_is_born_by_LittleMissSunnshine.jpg

In the game, when my egg finally hatched, I was really surprized when it turned out to be a baby girl, and I was a bit dissapointed when I saw that the girl Riolu's don't look any different from the boy Riolu's. I still tried to make her looks somewhat femanine by adding eyelashes and a cute pose, but I sadly failed. ;_;

I'll post what Aura looks like 20 lvs, 5 Hp Up's, 6 Protein's, and one Soothebell later, after I get some feedback on this one.

I do appreciate some critisizm, since it will help me improve, but pleeeeaaaase be gentle. I'm a very senstative person. :-[

It's pretty good, but the feet look different lengths to me...and now that I look again the eggshell halves do as well. Other than that it's really good. :)

wow, your right, the legs dont match. :-X

oh well, I'll probably end up re-drawing this and making more improvements. Thanks for the critisizm.

My_Lucario_by_LittleMissSunnshine.jpg

This is Aura, now a Lucario. now that I look at it, her boobs are a little too big and her feet are too scrawny. I guess I payed too much attention to the face, and almost completly ignored the body. Her arms are a little awkward too, and the tail is wierd to me. Wow, I really screwed up. O_o

And, if you notice, yes, thats a soothe bell on her neck. :3

I'm... not going to get into WHY that Lucario even has boobs, but for the longest time, I felt your MSPaint-only pain. You're doing quite nicely with the precious little that the program affords you. If you can find a nice oekaki somewhere, they're a nice online substitute for a drawing program, and they're a step up from Paint.

If you're sticking with paint, though, don't save your stuff as .jpg, save it as .png. The artifacting isn't as bad on the Lucario picture, but it's absolutely terrible in the Riolu one. There are also some missed pixels where you forgot to color.

In general terms, I can't really give much advice on furry anatomy, since human stuff is really all I'm decently knowledgeable about. However, I can tell you to study life as much as possible. A lot of the limbs on the Lucario picture look like you were just playing around with the oval, bezier, and line tool, and it makes them look flat an unrealistic. The legs are way too spindly to hold her up, and the "knee" is nearly nonexistent whereas the "ankle" goes on for all eternity. The legs also seem to be different lengths. If it were foreshortening, I'd understand, but the leg that's farther from us is the longer one here.

Your decision to only shade the blue and yellow is also an interesting one. Was that intentionally for stylistic purposes, or did you just not want to bother with the white or the lower half of her body?

Well, like I said before, I pretty much put all my attention on the face, and to be honest, I half-assed my way through the rest of the body. I've heard of the oekaki, but never actually got into it. From what Ive heard, it's a bit unreliable when it comes to saving the work, because sometimes it won't, and you cant copy, or save the screenshot either. Thats kinda what I'm afraid of.

I do have some good news, my parents are considering getting me a scanner, and my actual drawing skills are way better than my Mspaint skills (although my coloring is, to be honest, totally crappy. ._.' )

Untill then, I am going to stick to MsPaint, and I'll try to keep in mind everythings you guys said. Thank you again for your comments and critisizm. And I promis, I'll pay better detail to the WHOLE thing, instead of one aspect of the body.

As I promised, I paid more attention to the whole picture, and I saved it as a PNG.

This is a girl Torchic, crushing on a boy Piplup. Warm and Fuzzies all around! ;D

I used some trading cards as a referance, so that explains why they actually LOOK like a Piplup and a Torchic. ( I did Aura all by memory, which explains alot of the crap-taculerness.)

I didnt do any shading, cuz I know I had a good thing going, and I didnt want to mess up something that already looked pretty good. Maybe in the near futur, I might touch it up, but for now, I say; The simpler, The better.

Ok, this is what I have in mind for a Jynx evolution.

She's slightly bigger and not much different from the origional Jynx, but like Ive said before, The simpler, the better.

As for a name and stats and how it evolves, I havent though of yet. >_

:o Okay. I did not see that coming...
Try making it a little less...I dunno...robotic? Because that thing seriously looks like it's programmed by an evil spambot in my opinion...

yeah, the stance she's currently in isnt what I wanted it to look like. I wanted it to look like she was hypnotizing the viewer, but curse my bad paint skills. >_

If you don't mind me saying so, it looks like a WIP.
Again, you didn't shade anything below the chest-ruffle thing, and you didn't bother to erase the guidelines for the hands and arms.

Completing it will go a long way in making a pretty good picture look great, I think.

WIP stands for work in progress. In other words, it's a picture that's not quite done yet.

This is still just flat coloring in places, but it looks much better with the added shading and the cleaned lineart. :]
