Clothing: Black hoodie, blue-grey denim jeans, grey running shoes and black t-shirt under the hoodie. Has a gold sword with Ho-oh and Unown markings on it strapped to the back of his backpack whenever he is traveling outside of Johto.
Identifying marks: Burn mark on his neck where his rival's Typhlosion tried to attack him. Often covered in cuts and bruises.
Musculature: Not too skinny, but not even REMOTELY fat.
Personality: Adventurous, and usually lighthearted, laughing at other peoples jokes and sometimes making his own. Incredibly kind towards any pokemon. When he battles he becomes fierce and battles intently, ready to do anything to win. Scared of Typhlosion.
Skills: Has some sort of Psychic ability that lets him understand his pokemon. Can create fire out of thin air, and control it with ease. Can burst his sword into flames. Is one of the legendary swordsmen.
Past: Ben's parents died when he was four, but his siblings volunteered to look after him in turns until he was old enough to look after himself. Ben's sister was a top coordinator, having won most of the Hoenn tournaments, and his brother had defeated the Johto and Hoenn leagues. His brother came back from Hoenn once with a pokeball and a pokemon in it and gave it to Ben on his tenth Birthday. It contained a Torchic, and both Ben and the newly named Blazi took a shine to eachother. His sister took him to the nearest trainer registration and made him an official trainer. He decided to leave home, letting his brother and sister go and do whatever they want. He took on the gym challenge, and started collecting badges from Johto. When he beat Morty, because he was good friends with the gym leader, Morty gave him a Gastly and allowed him access to Tin Tower. When he left the gym, Ben looked up and saw a glittering shape fly to Tin Tower and land on top, leaving a rainbow in it's wake. He ran to the tower and climbed it, but when he got to the top he only found a sword in a rainbow scabbard. He picked up the sword and drew it, and it glowed, shining it's golden light on ben, making him Ho-oh's chosen swordsman. After defeating Clair, a person ran up to him and demanded a battle. He accepted, and won. This person got furious he lost and ordered his Typhlosion to attack Ben. His Combusken stopped Typhlosion, evolving in the process, but Ben got burned by some of the flamethrower the Typhlosion attacked with. Ben is now traveling the pokemon world, having beaten Lance and getting into the Hall Of Fame. After a while of travelling, he came across someone who he saw had more potential than him. So, after fighting him and losing to him, he gave him his Ho-oh sword.

History: Blazi was caught by Elliot in Hoenn, and was given to Ben. They instantly took a shine to eachother and have been inseparable since. Evolved fighting Bugsy and evolved again fighting Jacob Gold's Typhlosion.
Personality: Cheerful, arrogant. Loves battling.
Blazi is Ben's only set pokemon.
