Name: Keel Rochero
Gender: Male
Hometown: Blackthorn City, now Trainer Turf
Age: 19
Height: 6'1
Weight: 188
Hair: Thick and Blonde. It kinda has a little wave in the back, but its slanted at the front (look in my sprite section to see.)
Eyes: Dark Purple
Clothing: Keel has worn many outfits, but for now he wears a black, ckin tight, collared long sleeved shirt, tucked into cargo khakis, while wearing a navy blue belt, and his Black and Purple hip bag
Identifying Marks: A scar on his back from when Diego's Garchomp burned him.
Musculature: Average for a guy who works out daily, in shape but not too muscley
Personality: Basically an incarnation of "Badass". Keel tends to see the world as half empty, being a natural born pessimist. He used to be Diego's arch-rival, but ever since the Johto leaque, he's been elevated to regular rival. He still has a dark side, but most of the "evil" kinks he had are gone, and are now replaced with a more neutral attitude, who finds Diego's friends tolerable, while Diego is just Annoying. He also used to Harshly train his pokemon, however he now just trains them with less danger, and more curves. He now likes his pokemon, and is willing to help others. He also has a high I.Q., getting him into the G-Force, or a high ranking secret agency that deals with undercover missions. He also finds his friend, Yori, a girl who has followed him since he freed her, tolerable, and possibly his best friend. Though when he sees Diego, he expects him to drop everything he's doing just to battle him.
Skills: He has a mastery in Dark type pokemon, as well as a I.Q. of 200
Past: Keel has had a checkered past, mainly resulting from an incident where Darkrai stole his best friend's body when they were 8. Keel was born into the Rochero clan, a family of pokemon trainers that each deal with their own specific type. He was originally assigned the Ground type, but as he grew up, he shifted from ground type to Dark type, much like his Pupitar's evolution into Tyranitar. Keel originally started out searching for his friend, Rio, along with Rio's shiny Umbroen and Keel's Tyranitar, but slowly realized that keel was Darkrai's original target, and would come back to steal his heart. When he met Diego, he was 12 years old, and already down a dark path. As the years passed, he darkened his heart even more to draw out Darkrai, but was shown the errors of his ways by Diego at the Johto League, after Diego beat his Tyranitar with his newly evolved Jolteon. he was then invited to join the G-Force when he turned 18, as they saw his high I.Q. a valuable prize. Since then, he, along with Diego, his friends, Oreck, and many other strong Trainers, have fought side by side against the Forces of evil, Even Darkrai himself, whome Keel defeated not by his Pokemon, but with his newly enlightened heart. Keel has accomplished things like becoming the temporary 4th member of the Darco Region's Elite 4, and deafeating the Team Rocket Executive, Archer. He also battled against Elite 4 members such as Drake, Sydney, Kara, Koga, Bruno, and Lorelei, even getting to battle the second strongest trainer in the world, Blue, aka Red's rival and Viridian City's gym leader, of course, losing.
Family: Mark (recently deceased father), Dana (mother), and possibly an older brother whom he's never met.
Love Relationships?: He's had moments with Ollette, Diana, and Kira, but it seems Yori is the only one who doesn't make him sour, and it seems that she likes him.
Pokémon: Keel has a team consisting of an all Dark team.
1. Umbreon (Shiny): Umbreon wasn't originally his, but really belonged to his best freind, Rio. Keel took Umbreon under his wing to help train to defeat Darkrai. umbreon has a Docile personality, and doesn't really show much personality, except with Ninetails and Jolteon, and possibly Glaceon. Many people marvle over this Pokemon's odd appearance, with Amber eyes and Blue rings instead of the traditional Red eyes and Yellow rings. Umbreon has a unique ability to control the shadows around him, making things like Dark Portals to hide in, or using them to power him up. Hes also very quick and powerful in battle, and is capable of holding his own against ubers. Keel tends to let him out of his ball, for fear that Rio will get on to him for not taking better care of him.
2. Weavile: Weavile is supposedly the weakest on his team, which surprises many people, given his battling skills. As a Sneasel, he fought Eevee in his first battle, and lost. Weavile has ADHD, so he can't exactly stay focused for anything too long. In battle however, he turns into a skilled warrior, vying for Keel's aprooval. He is incredibly quick and crafty, being able to take down a Charizard or Magmortar in a few attacks. He still has that rivalry with Jolteon, so they race everynow and then, almost at an even pace.
3. Houndoom: Houndoom was Keel's first capture as a Houndour. He originally caught him to keep track of Darkrai's scent, but found him to be a very powerful pokemon. He has always been loyal to Keel, thick or thin, and always performing 110% for Keel in battle. He may be a brute capable of bringing down a Rhyperior in battle, but he's also a calm pokemon that Keel let's out of his ball sometimes. Houndoom dreams of growing old together with Keel, until one of them dies.
4. honchkrow: Keel captured him as a large Murkrow, and since evolution, he has grown to the size of a Pidgeot, making him ideal for air travel. Honchkrow can usually be seen being followed by other Honchkrow or Murkrow as he flies, and generally thinks he's a head honcho among a large number of Pokemon. He has mastered many moves native to his bird cousins, such as Brave Bird, Close Combat, Heat wave, and more. Keel can always rely on this bird to help distract people with its ability to call upon other birds.
5. Sharpedo: Keel captured Sharpedo after it evolved from Carvanha, seeing his brute strength as a bonus. Sharpedo used to be a savage, literally eating other pokemon raw back when Keel didn't care. However, since then, Keel has managed to tame its instincts, and now chows on cooked pokemon food. Sharpedo has always been strong in battle, in or off land, utilizing its amazing speed in battle. Sharpedo was Keel's main source of Ocean travel when he trecked the Sevii Islands 3 years ago, managing to leave from Olivine City at 5 a.m. and landing on One/Knot Island at noon.
6. Tyranitar: Tyranitar was Keel's first Pokemon, and is probably the first one to see him smile. When Keel got him as a Larvitar, he was expected to grow up to become a strong Ground type trainer. However, Keel changed his mind when his friend was kidnapped, and he evolved from over-exposure to darkness. Tyranitar is a major tank in Keel's team, being able to take down several Garchomps and Wailords, as well as battle Heatran and Darkrai. Keel never really resorts to using him that much unless he wants to end something quickly or if he's in a pinch. Tyranitar was the only Pokemon that stood by his side when he challenged Darkrai for control of his heart. Keel and Tyranitar, despite having a rough past, have a very close bond, and is considered his best Pokemon friend.
