There is a large mansion somewhere in the Kalos region. In said mansion, cat Pokémon roam, fending fore each other when needed.

Mika(MIKE-ah) is a Persian, except his gem is a bright blue. He is a bit reserved and doesn't talk much. He used to have a Trainer, but when his trainer died of old age, and he stayed in the mansion, protecting it with his life, along with the Pokémon in it.

Mika yawned and stretched as the sun filtered through the window, and onto the large chair he was sitting in. The chair was in the study of the large mansion, his personal room that he didn't let others sleep in. His odd blue gem shinged against the harsh rays of morning sun. "Purrow." He cooed and jumped off the chair to find some food.

Mika stared for a second before shrugging. He walked out of the door and into the field next to the mansion in search of Patrat, or Ratata. Due to his master's passing, and his lack of family, they didn't have normal Pokemon food so they had to hunt. Sniffing around, he picked up the scent of a Ratata and started stalking it. When a few steps away, he pounced and slain it.
