Right now the Pokémon Video Game and Trading Card Game World Championships are taking place in Vancouver, and what better way to kick things off than to introduce us to a brand new Mega Pokémon!

During the opening ceremony for the event Junichi Masuda took to the stage and showed a new trailer for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y which introduced us to the latest Mega Pokémon, Mega Kangaskhan. The main differences between it and the normal Kasgaskhan is that its baby now seems to join in the battle by being out of the mothers pouch, and that the Pokémon now has the new ability Parental Bond which allows the Pokémon to attack twice in one turn.

It's about dern' time that freeloader did something >:I in all seriousness though, this is rather unique... Most of us, when thinking of anything new with Kangaskhan, would think of the baby as a pre-evo, but instead, the two are a single Pokemon acting independently of each other in a Mega Form. Not only that, but that new ability sounds dangerous, but I wonder if it would be used on other Pokemon besides Kangaskhan to make it more trouble...

Still though, I am glad that they finally decided to touch up on the baby Kangaskhan.
