Revealed: Mega Rayquaza was first revealed during a livestream of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. The Pokémon was then later revealed worldwide in a new trailer.

Additional Info: Particles stream from the long filaments that extend from its jutting jaw. These particles can control the density and humidity of the air, allowing Rayquaza to manipulate the weather. Its green hide sparkles with an emerald-like quality.

Rayquaza may evolve into Mega Rayquaza so long as it knows the move Dragon Ascent, and does not require a Mega Stone to do so. If Rayquaza forgets Dragon Ascent for some reason, the move may be re-taught to it by Zinnia's grandmother in Meteor Falls.

No. It won't be allowed to trade if it knows Dragon Ascent - nothing new to ORAS can go back to XY. For some reason, they didn't want to patch XY with support for the new Megas/items/moves.

XY wouldn't know the move/items and just crash. ORAS are manually programmed not to let them trade for that reason.

Black 2 was similar. I was in a link battle and i sent out black kyrem. On the white version screen, it showedshowed normal kyrem.

Something similar happened in Platinum re: Origin Forme Giratina/Shaymin Sky Forme/Rotom's alternate formes back in Gen 4.

Apparently Game Freak got over that by hardcoding OR/AS to not allow any interaction between new OR/AS additions and X/Y altogether - and use completely different matchmaking systems for X/Y and OR/AS re: online interactions.

Gog knows what will happen when the Third Version (probably Z?) finally hits. XP

Game Freak have never remade a third version before, and it is incredibly unlikely that they'd release a "Delta Emerald" any time soon, if ever. Remember, ORAS already had the Delta Episode and most of the non-plot improvements from Emerald.
