“You miss the point, Hokage Tsunade.” Jin corrected. “You may think releasing him without telling us is an act of good faith. But retaining him in the first place is an unrighteous act against the freedoms that the mist works hard to protect.”
Seeming to simmer down a bit, the elder Yuki took a deep breath, collecting his thoughts.
“Is the color of one’s eyes, the color of their skin, or the blood in their body make them property of someone else?” He questioned. “Despite his lineage, he resided as a long since citizen of the mist. I was willing to stake the tranquility of our villages on the sentiment of this. While this was virtuous, it seems that I put my faith in the wrong sort.”
He then glared at Kiro, him being the reason all of this blew up in his face in the first place. Looking back to Tsunade, he sighed.
“Perhaps if I had known his true colors beforehand I would have saved the drama. For that I apologize.” Crossing his arms, he continued. “But we were still just in our claim. Your village wasn’t a saint itself.”

What’s even more foolish is that you think that the blessing of the Daimyo is eternal, and cannot be effected by the wearer’s instability. For a time you deserved the position. But now you’ve become nothing but a shell. And for that, I take the roll of authority in this matter.”
