*Baiyan tried to activate her Byakugan*

*Error 404: Eyes not found*

lmao.

Eternal Byakugan? Pfffft

We all know Baiyan can see better blind xD
Actually sorta fact. Though I'm not sure how exactly it works. But Toneri said chakra vision is better than actually using eyes. It's a different experience but I guess the info transfers faster when you use chakra?

*shrugs* hard to even say.

Sensing through chakra has its perks at the least lel.

I'm assuming that Team Azumi is still in Takigakure. So if they're heading to Amegakure (South), they should be able to cross paths with the team of Nadeshiko coming from the land of Rivers (heading north), since they'll pass through the Land of Rain to get there.

@Godjacob

Correct on all fronts. Just outside of Takigakure currently. So the plan presented is sound enough.

Amari

Ama meaning sky/heaven
Ri meaning white jasmine

Base Jutsu: https://naruto.fandom.com/wiki/Fire_Release:_Phoenix_Sage_Fire_Technique (Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique)

Name: Nadeshiko Style: White Jasmine Flame
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu (Fire Release)
Effects: Spits out a volley of flower-shaped fireballs at an opponent.
Training Method: Due to the number of 'components'(petals) each fireball contains, this jutsu requires a higher ratio of spiritual chakra to both maintain the shape of each fireball and control its movement. Thus this jutsu requires the user to hone their mind through meditation or other such activities.
Requirements: N/A
Users: Solitary Star Amari Kanezane

The user spits out a number of Flower-shaped fireballs. Size and number of which can be manipulated with the amount of chakra poured into the jutsu.

The user spits out a single (or multiple with greater control) large flower-shaped fireballs in exquisite detail. The petals of the fireball can be used to trap opponents before the fireball detonates.

The petals would close around the opponent like so...

Reference image: https://s1.zerochan.net/Pixiv.Id.10489689.600.2590282.jpg

The user fires several flower-shaped fireballs. The fireballs can then be 'detonated' at will to release a flurry of smaller petal-shaped fireballs.

The user fires off a rapid stream of small petal-shaped chakra embers, which very slowly float to the ground. Chakra embers will detonate on contact with opponents, creating a mine-field.

The user creates a large flower-shaped fireball that obscures the opponent's vision. In the brief moment that their body is obscured, the user slips inside the fireball and travels along with it. The User can emerge from the fireball at any time choosing whether to detonate the fireball or convert it for further usage.

Used in conjunction with: https://naruto.fandom.com/wiki/Fire_Release:_Hiding_in_Fire_Technique (Fire Release: Hiding in Fire Technique)

Nadeshiko doesn't have the hiding in fire technique...yet. We will soon though lel. It's one of the missions I have planned for Sagisō.

The user spits out large flaming petals around them. These petals form into a large flaming flower which protects the users as the petals burn away incoming attacks.

Petals may be overlapped for multi-layer defense.

Petals Revolve with the user in the center:

Hmmm, that's all I could really think of...feel free to apply your own creativity to it.

What think about this though, @Nukas

I think it'd be a cool signature jutsu for Amari...or at least a nice addition to her arsenal.

Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
@Godjacob What fighting style resembles Tomiko's Taijutsu the most? I could see her preforming Muay Thai or kickboxing, but I wouldn't want Kasumi to teach her tactics for a fighting style that she doesn't use
Not sure about her current fighting style, but I did offer to teach her Bear-style Baguazhang when Sagiso came around.

Tomiko, along with most others, seem more like brawlers with no strictly defined martial systems. It'd be best to teach concepts from a martial art which would be applicable in general without replicating the exact moves.

My mind goes to capoeira, but kickboxing or muay thai would probably be more useful. Jacob has the final say in it though. Speaking of which, I need to find influences for my OC's

Capoeira doesn't seem to fit Tomiko's style at all though. I'd say either enhance a strength or make up for a weakness when making appends to fighting styles. So either an addition to her tanky style of combat or something that patches up her lack of speed and mobility.

Given her gloves, I'd say boxing. You know that they would do some nasty damage if the chin gets hit, and it should allow her to counter pretty easily once within striking range. But again, all up to Jacob

Chin strikes very much aren't recommended unless you have a clear opening though. They're quite predictable and fair number of default stances in martial arts provide solid ways of guarding against them.

Speaking of boxing though, another boxer would be pretty cool, especially since they might focus on actually punching as oppoded to Sagiso, who does kick boxing.

Sagiso does kick boxing? Huh, thought she did baguazhang. The more you know

She does Savate, which is French kick boxing, that's her 'original' martial art, and she only started learning Bagua afterward. Hence her fancy for kicks and footwork.

Later on she's round it off with Bajiquan and Pajiquan. They're complementary arts to Bagua, and do well to cover where it lacks in terms of range and avenues of attack.

Damn, you really are well-prepared huh? I need to step up my game soon if I want to pose a threat

I'm specializing her to be melee oriented and chakra control oriented, so most of the training I have in mind for her trains either the body of her chakra in some capacity.

I'm playing around with some ideas to refine the quality of chakra itself, so her chakra may darken in hue in the future. Though, I haven't though of any solid and systematic way of training chakra itself in the way I want.

There are some methods in the series, but they train specific aspects of chakra which I'm not really looking for. Meditation, Studying, mental activities on a whole will train spiritual chakra, while physical training predictably strengthens your physical chakra.

I'm looking more for changes to the chakra and chakra flow itself to accompany the changes in blood flow and internal awareness so it can better complement the martial arts she practices.

Why am I not surprised by this? I might need to take some notes from this, who knows?

Well at the moment, she lacks an "official" martial arts style. Beyond basic academy hand-to-hand she is entirely self taught so she has more of an backyard style brawling method. Favoring strong multiple strikes with her gauntlets but uses kicks as well to get out of a pinch.

As far as a trained style goes, kickboxing seems fair for her though she favors fists over feet though not only one or the other so I can't say with full confidence.

Also, apologies, family festive stuff has kept me busy and will do least through tomorrow.
