Eternal Byakugan? Pfffft
Actually sorta fact. Though I'm not sure how exactly it works. But Toneri said chakra vision is better than actually using eyes. It's a different experience but I guess the info transfers faster when you use chakra?Eternal Byakugan? Pfffft
We all know Baiyan can see better blind xD
I'm assuming that Team Azumi is still in Takigakure. So if they're heading to Amegakure (South), they should be able to cross paths with the team of Nadeshiko coming from the land of Rivers (heading north), since they'll pass through the Land of Rain to get there.
@Godjacob
Depending on where they leave off...can probably get a Sagisō-Azumi interaction. Sagisō will be heading north the day or so after the festival, so if team Azumi are still in the area, Sagisō and Amari could get some interaction in with them.Correct on all fronts. Just outside of Takigakure currently. So the plan presented is sound enough.

Ring-Out as in you can win by knocking your opponent off the stage, like in the DBZ World Martial Arts Tournament. Either KO or Ring-Out.idk what those are

No thanks. That’s how you get a potential good match ruined. Instead of an actual fight, people will just be trying get people off the ring.Should we allow ring-outs in the tournament yay or nay?

So are you saying people trying to knock each other out of bounds would automatically equal bad fight? No thanks. That’s how you get a potential good match ruined. Instead of an actual fight, people will just be trying get people off the ring.
More likely than not it will. Like why go for a good fight when you can just focus on knocking your opponent out the ring? It’s so easy to abuse that imo. The strategy changes from a fight to knocking your opponent out the ring.So are you saying people trying to knock each other out of bounds would automatically equal bad fight?

I'd rather not allow ring outs. This tourney is my first chance at showing off Amari and I want just good fights with no strings attached.Should we allow ring-outs in the tournament yay or nay?

Not sure about her current fighting style, but I did offer to teach her Bear-style Baguazhang when Sagiso came around.@Godjacob What fighting style resembles Tomiko's Taijutsu the most? I could see her preforming Muay Thai or kickboxing, but I wouldn't want Kasumi to teach her tactics for a fighting style that she doesn't use
My mind goes to capoeira, but kickboxing or muay thai would probably be more useful. Jacob has the final say in it though. Speaking of which, I need to find influences for my OC'sNot sure about her current fighting style, but I did offer to teach her Bear-style Baguazhang when Sagiso came around.
Tomiko, along with most others, seem more like brawlers with no strictly defined martial systems. It'd be best to teach concepts from a martial art which would be applicable in general without replicating the exact moves.
Capoeira doesn't seem to fit Tomiko's style at all though. I'd say either enhance a strength or make up for a weakness when making appends to fighting styles. So either an addition to her tanky style of combat or something that patches up her lack of speed and mobility. My mind goes to capoeira, but kickboxing or muay thai would probably be more useful. Given her gloves, I'd say boxing. You know that they would do some nasty damage if the chin gets hit, and it should allow her to counter pretty easily once within striking range. Chin strikes very much aren't recommended unless you have a clear opening though. They're quite predictable and fair number of default stances in martial arts provide solid ways of guarding against them.Given her gloves, I'd say boxing. Sagiso does kick boxing? Huh, thought she did baguazhang. The more you knowChin strikes very much aren't recommended unless you have a clear opening though. They're quite predictable and fair number of default stances in martial arts provide solid ways of guarding against them.
Speaking of boxing though, another boxer would be pretty cool, especially since they might focus on actually punching as oppoded to Sagiso, who does kick boxing.
She does Savate, which is French kick boxing, that's her 'original' martial art, and she only started learning Bagua afterward. Hence her fancy for kicks and footwork.Sagiso does kick boxing? Huh, thought she did baguazhang. The more you know

Later on she's round it off with Bajiquan and Pajiquan. They're complementary arts to Bagua, and do well to cover where it lacks in terms of range and avenues of attack.
I'm specializing her to be melee oriented and chakra control oriented, so most of the training I have in mind for her trains either the body of her chakra in some capacity.Damn, you really are well-prepared huh? I need to step up my game soon if I want to pose a threat
Why am I not surprised by this? I might need to take some notes from this, who knows?I'm specializing her to be melee oriented and chakra control oriented, so most of the training I have in mind for her trains either the body of her chakra in some capacity.
I'm playing around with some ideas to refine the quality of chakra itself, so her chakra may darken in hue in the future. Though, I haven't though of any solid and systematic way of training chakra itself in the way I want.
There are some methods in the series, but they train specific aspects of chakra which I'm not really looking for. Meditation, Studying, mental activities on a whole will train spiritual chakra, while physical training predictably strengthens your physical chakra.
I'm looking more for changes to the chakra and chakra flow itself to accompany the changes in blood flow and internal awareness so it can better complement the martial arts she practices.
Do it if you find it fun lolWhy am I not surprised by this? I might need to take some notes from this, who knows?
