Kinda goes hand in hand with the question of what's their motivation to do it?
No but Ayano is pretty overconfident in her abilities right now but if something happens and she starts doubting her abilities then she might start to seek out more power

Most of the canon ones (except young Obito) are pretty smart though so i went of that.
Idk just an idea for a future plot
Much as I...hate to use him as a positive example, but young Obito proves you can be an Uchiha but also kinda an idiot and not a prodigy out of the gate XD

All of it was but suggestions though. But if you add the motivation for seeking more power to helping out a friend, that would actually make Ayano's motivation stronger. Maybe not strong enough, but hey it's something

Shisui is my favorite Uchiha, you're right I shouldn't have forgetten him. Still all of the Uchiha's intellegence/tactical feats combined don't add up to Jiraiya's prowess in what would allow people to find out about Nagato's real body.
We might be able to think of something. There aren't many examples of how to defeat him though. Konan would be easier. Especially with that Storm Release

Uhh, I guess? Don't see how Konan has to do with this. She's also still Akatsuki tier so I'm sure she can hold up Ayano despite the disadvantage.
Naruto managed to figure it out. It's up for debate how much he learned under those 2 years he was away (he did spend all of that time on a bigger Rasengan only so he could very well have time for other things too)
She's Nagato's friend and would try to help if she finds out somethings wrong (which she probably would considerign all of the collateral damage that would be caused in such a fight). And with the combined abilities of Konan and Pain, it would be even more impossible to defeat them. Which is why they'd probably have to wait for Konan to leave the village on a mission or they'd have to kill her themselves

Konan would leave if it's super important. Like she left him during the attack on Konoha. And she does leave him for small moments when there are bodies to pick up
If you're going after something like Pain and the Rinnegan, IMO you should be extremely prepared and not granted plot-convient circumstances.
So unless there's a reason for Konan to be gone, she'd likely be there. They're also going at him together, so between the two of them, they should be prepared.

You'd have to start searching for information of Nagato in the village, you'd probably be attacked then and taken care of. You can't do it if you leave the village since there's no clues outside of it. You said you want to go against the village at Chunin rank, not strong enough to stand your ground.
Just the general idea to attain the Rinnegan sounds farfetched

If Nagato dies, who'll be the new leader of Amegakure? Will they elect one or could Airi/Ayano take the power?
That's not actually for certain. No one came to help Konan when she fought Obito. Granted, they fought quite far out in the water but a skilled ninja should've both noticed, and ran out to assist her

Lel, the Mugen Clan probably aren't too interested in listening to the two kids that attacked their village and killed the leader.
Though considering the village is supposed to idolize Nagato and Konan, I don't imagine seizing power will go very smoothly.
There aren't a lot of people who knows what Konan looks like and even less knows what Nagato looks like. So that's one thing too

I just feel it’s really inconvenient to try and utilize the Rinnegan.

Konan is the way Nagato interacts with Ame, she's known as the Angel because of her paper wings. She'd probably be quite recognizable from those alone.
With regard to the Rinnegan though, wouldn't it be better to...go after something like the Tailed Beasts?
It's hard either way. If we'd start going after the tailed beasts we'd probably have to deal with even bigger threats than Nagato. Whole villages would be after us. We'd be able to hide, sure, but you can only hide for a while before someone finds you. And we'd need a way to fool many shinobi with abilities similar to both the Aburame and Inuzuka clan. I think Nagato is the better way to get the Rinnegan. Unless we defile Hashirama's grave but then Airi would have to give up both eyes for the Rinnegan and Ayano wouldn't get anything from it. And it would attract Orochimaru's attention

Rinnegan: soo, how WILL you beat Nagato at all? Especially with the pain body he uses, that can just use almighty push, plus, he , no matter how much the characters train , he'll always be more skilled, sure, Naruto beat him, but he needed MORE THAN 5 TAILS KURAMA CLOAK TO DAMAGE HIM ENOUGH HE COULD BEAT HIM
Perfect Susanoo: .. i'm pretty sure you need the rinnegan to unlock that? Maybe i'm wrong but that would need to be later in the rp, since a bunch of 9-10-11-12 years olds won't be able to do anything
