Setting: Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, after days of intense, one-on-one battle, have agreed to a truce. This is a monumental moment for a world stuck in the strife of endless war. Peace is possible, isn't it?
Konohagakure lives. New clans move in, or request to move in, each day. The local Daimyo plans on electing a leader, who in time will be known as the "Hokage".
Elsewhere, other clans form alliances. Soon, the villages of Suna, Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri will follow in Konoha's footsteps.
Will the shinobi of Konoha lead the world into a new era of peace, or will their will of fire burn too bright, and consume all that they sought to protect?
Story: Friends on the surface, Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha struggle with their clans' decades of rivalry and mistrust. Many support Hashirama as Konoha's Hokage, but Madara is not without support of his own.
This RP will take a look into the shinobi world's early foray into what it is in Naruto--the Academy, four man squads, genin-jonin rankings, bingo books, the whole-nine yards. We can keep it simple and do missions in the world, starting as lowly genin and climbing the ranks, or we can get into the politics of it all, taking control of clan leaders and changing the history of Naruto! We can even do both, no need to pigeon-hole ourselves.
Play Style: Conflict is what makes these sorts of stories go, but i would rather this RP be more cooperative storytelling than trying to hard to "win". Sometimes keeping a secret or the like can be interesting and fun, but that should be the outlier.
We should be writing under almost full transparency, trying to craft a killer story. If your characters get into a fight and you want to fight to win, that's cool, but I think we should approach any characters winning or losing a fight as part of the story--not like we're playing competitive Smash Bros.

Sorry for the long list of example stats, but I just wanted to emphasize that your character's skills are up to you, but I will take issue with a character with 4 A's or 2 S's and no D's. If one skill is maxed, another should be minimum for the sake of balance.
As for the skills left blank, your characters will have the opportunity to add and improve skills much like an RPG. Kage Rank will be the ultimate cap, followed by S++ and S+.
I'd prefer if all our characters started only at 1 S skill for now, but will be persuaded if a character is well conceived enough, or the pitch for it is.
