. Congratulations for getting into Pokemon as an adult. Do you get much stick for it? I'm lucky, in that I'm all-but-married to a geek of computing and metalwork, and my best friends are gamers. But some of my students think it's absolutely hilarious that I play video games in my 30s, let alone that most of the games I enjoy are "kids'" games. All I know is at 50 posts you get the trainer rank and are allowed to use a custom avatar image then.

Meh, it's not all that bad. Compared to the total online posts I have ever made in the last three years (Which would be somewhere near 8,000 if you combine all the totals I've made over a series of forums), 50 is really not that much. Look- I now have 8 posts and it's not even spam!

I'm totally new here, and I have no idea what to post about myself. But, I guess I'll start with the basics...
Hi, I'm Bookworm, nice to meet ya'll. I found this site on accident; I was trying to search for something for my school project, and ended up here instead. I looked around for a bit, then, decided to put this site/forum place into my favorites. After I had finished doing all my research and stuff for homework, my parents decided to let me let me relax a bit and just have fun. Well, I made an account here, and now I'm typing my very first post. Seems like a pretty organised place so far, and the mods/admins are strict enough, yet also nice and act almost like the normal users here... I hope I'll be having fun here.
Now, my hobby is reading. Doesn't really matter what I read, I just pick a few things at the school and public library and start reading. I try to avoid Manga as much as possible, but Anime is a different story with me. I prefer to hear voices and see animation that to just look at pictures. My other hobby is probably just hanging around with my best friends. I also like to write stories, thanks to this English thing at school where we had to make up our own short stories, which was when I found that I actually enjoyed writing. Well, that's it about me.

-I watch House way too much, obsess over someone more than 2-and-a-half times my age.
-I make medical references as much as I can.
-I go to college, but I'm not sure if I'm going to stay with my major... but my minor will always be acting.
-I'm a pharmacy tech and an on-call biometrics specialist. ... I prescribe gout meds and take fingerprints, basically. ^^;
-I'm a tech of all trades. ...more of a grown-up geek if you will.
-I'm brutally honest. Fair warning. But brutally honest is an understatement, so... I'm a misanthropic sociopath with a Rubix complex. ...But I play nice.
-I just disconnected my wiFi a moment ago on accident... oops.
-I run my own forum... I know the score.
-One of my best buds is an English teacher.
-I know the guy who runs the crime lab for my town. ...that's not nearly as odd as you think.

I came to this site originally because someone had a Trainer Card in their signature on another site, and I just had to have one because I'm a big fan of Pokemon.
So I made my card and found out a while later that this place also had a forum. I happen to love forum websites, especially ones where I can enjoy a good rolelay or two, so of course I had to join.
I'm a generally nice person, and I hope to make a lot of good friends here. Thank-you muchly for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope to see people with like-minded interests in some of the threads that I visit. Farewell for now.
