The official Pokémon site has today revealed a brand new trailer for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y along with updating their site with some new details and English names for the four most recently revealed Pokémon from the CoroCoro leaks a couple of days ago.
The latest trailer to be released showcases the new Pokémon in battle, along with introducing us to the first Kalos Gym Leader Viola. If you wish to view the trailer then you can find it here.
Of course the biggest news today is the English names for the four Pokémon, which are as follows:
The Fairy Type Pokémon Furabebe will be known as Flaébé in English and as stated in CoroCoro a few days ago knows the new Fairy Type move Fairy Wind.
Shisiko the lion cub Pokémon will be known as Litleo in English and knows the move Noble Roar which was known as Battle Cry in Japanese.
The Bug Type Pokémon known as Kofukimushi in Japan will be going by the name Scatterbug in English and knows the move String Shot.
Last up we have the Bug Type Pokémon known as Kofuraii, this little Pokémon will be called Spewpa in English and knows the move Protect.
Along with the English names for the above Pokémon, we've also had a couple of translations for other things. Our starting town will be going by the name of Vaniville Town in English, while the city with the first Kalos Gym will be called Santalune City. Our childhood friends who live in Vaniville Town have also had their English names revealed and are known as Shauna,Tierno and Trevor.
Shauna is an easygoing and friendly person who will be endlessly curious about the things you come across while exploring Kalos, a bit like Bianca from the fifth generation games.
Trevor is the competitive one in the group of friends and wishes to complete his Pokédex before any of his other friends. He will also be the one who gives you your Kalos Pokédex.
Tierno likes nothing more than to dance and wants to create a dance team with his Pokémon, an interesting idea that we haven't really seen before from a childhood friend in Pokémon.
The playable characters have also been named with the male known as Calem and the female known as Serena. Whichever one you don't choose will live next door to you in Vaniville Town and aims to become the most powerful Pokémon trainer around.
