Nex of Eterna

A cool, crisp torrent of wind swarmed through out the City of Eterna. The wind sang a sorrow filled tune, making the night seem almost evil. The street lights flickered like someone was toying with the switches, the shops had closed, the tavern was open and the old Galactic building loomed in the distance. Stray and wild Pokémon flittered around, snarfing some random scraps from the garbage bins lined up on the sides of the ally ways and buildings

A group of men walked down the street with an almost military swagger to them. Each one was wearing a leather jacket along with chains strapped to their pants, every one of them had customized their look to make it seem like they weren't a copy of each other. The man leading the group suddenly stopped and motioned his group into an ally way, hushing them to be silent. A squad car rushed down the street with its sirens blaring. The man smiled, for the plan had gone into effect already.

The men slinked out of the ally and rushed towards their destination, the police chiefs home.

Mia sighed as she watched her Togetic fly around with grace in her bedroom; her room was painted pink with light blue curtains on her walk out porch on the third floor of her house, it had a rope ladder for her friends to climb up on so they can hang out. Her room was decorated in multiple posters of boys, bands and her favorite writers. She was lying on her bed and she was boooooooored out of her skull.

It was summer vacation, all of her friends except one were at some spiffy camp in Johto and her sister is off visiting her friends on the Sevii islands. She jumped off of her bed and went to check herself out in the mirror for the umpteenth time. Her pink lounge pants were baggy and her favorite night shirt she swiped from her sister's boyfriend seemed like a tent on her. Her blonde hair was up in a pony tail and her green eyes glittered with life.

Her parents had left her alone at home. She had a shitload of maids and butlers to protect her from anything, but still, shit can hit the fan at anytime.

Suddenly, her door opened, surprising her and her maid and one of her best friends, Mika, appeared with a tray of food for her to eat.

"Chef made your favorite meal, Mia." Mika said. Mia pointed to a spot on her dresser and plopped on her bed to chat with Mika.

"So what are you going to be doing this weekend, I got us tickets to see We the Kings." Mia said with a bubbly tone. Mika screamed and they started to chat for hours on end or so it seemed.
~~~~~
The men stopped at the end of the street, looking at the big three story house. The leader of the men motioned them into a huddle and began speaking.
"Stick to the plan men, we must do this right or Pax will definitely kill us. Chris, Rodger, take the back and block it off so no one can escape. Marcus and Halton, storm the from below by getting into the basement. The rest of us, including myself, will break in by the first story windows and taking everyone hostage. Let's do this men." He said with gusto.
The men grinned and began taking off in the direction they need to be in.
~~~~~

Mia laughed at a joke that Mika said about some boy in her grade. They had no idea what was going to down that night. They continued their little discussion until they heard a loud CRASH ring through out the house.

Mia stopped laughing and cocked her head at the door, "What was that?" she cried out in fear. Mika laughed, "It was probably Liza, and she is such a klutz with those dishes."

Mia nodded with fear in her eyes, she didn't like being alone without her daddy around. Mia didn't like to acknowledge it, but she was a pretty shy and insecure girl, she needed someone to show her the ropes and to new people.

Her Togetic flew over to her head and plopped down in her lap. Smiling, she patted her on the head.

"About sleepy time huh Vivi?" she cooed. The Togetic yawned and curled up in her lap and fell into a deep sleep. Mia set Vivi on top of her pillow and began talking in a softer voice as not to wake her up.

"It's nearly been six months since I hatched Vivi…" She said with nostalgia in her voice, oh how long she polished her egg, hugged it and warmed it. And the day the egg hatched, she took care of the Togetic, fed it, played with it and so forth. Mia felt proud that she raised Vivi into a Togetic.

Footsteps were heard thundering up the stairs, Mia and Mika jumped off the bed to see who was coming, they thought it was a couple of their friends to hang out with them. The door opened and three burly men walked in with evil grins on their faces.

The biggest and the smelliest of the three grabbed Mia and put her in a hold. "Grab that runt right there! We might have to spill some bl-"He never got to finish that sentence as Mia bit down on his arm.

"RUN MIKA! Get help!!!" She pleaded with desperation in her eyes. Nodding, Mika ran out onto the porch and started to scale the rope ladder down and ran into Eterna Woods, the man who was holding Mia roared at the two grunts to go after her and they bumbled out onto the porch and waddled after her.

"Oi! Get out of mai stew!" Zacky bellowed at the Donphan who was eating his stew he left sitting on the log.

"Donphan! Don!" Jazio retorted angrily. Zacky sighed as he gave up his food for the greedy Donphan. His best friend, Luffy the Infernape laughed at him. "Oh shut up you bloody monkey." He growled at Luffy, who just laughed some more at the pun, because his white part of his fur is crimson and the brown part is black, yes Luffy is a shiny, only a different variation.

Zacky was camping out in Eterna Woods that night; he wasn't going to make it through the woods that day and he really didn't feel like flying, so he just found a good spot and sat up camp.

Destiny the Gardevoir sighed as she poured another bowl for Zacky to eat. "Thanks Destiny" Zacky said with humor in his voice, making the Gardevoir smile. He sat back and watched Skylar the Salamence fly around in the night sky with Thor the Raichu on his back. He snapped out of his daze as he realized that Zale the Feraligatr was missing in action.

"Oi, Luffy, where is Zale?" He ponder with curiosity. The Infernape laughed and pointed towards the pond where Zale was swimming along happily acting like a steam boat.

Zacky couldn't help but grin at Zale's goofiness; he and Luffy were too much alike, almost like brothers. He reclined against the log again and started to drift to sleep until he got interrupted.

"Hey! You!" the girl screamed at Zacky, who merely opened an eye up and looked at her with boredom. "What?" he grunted. "I was going to sleep to dream about hot girls until you came by."

The girl huffed at him, "I need your help!" She pleaded.

Zacky raised an eyebrow at the girl. "What is it? Skitty stuck in a tree? Munchlax stole your dinner?" he joked.

"No, my friend is being held hostage!" She screamed at him.

Zacky eyes widen at that sentence, "Tell me everything." He demanded. And the girl poured the words out with tears in her eyes to Zacky until Zacky held his hand up and said "Enough." Zacky said, "I'll help you, just because you're a nice girl." He added with a wink. "SKYLAR!" bellowed Zacky towards the Dragon Pokémon. "I need you!"

Skylar roared and flew down to Zacky, standing proudly in front of him. Zacky then turned to Destiny and said, "Can you hold down the fort until I get back?" He asked, Destiny nodded with grace as Zacky jumped on Skylar's back.

"Luffy! Thor! We got shit to rock tonight!" Zacky roared in glee. Luffy jumped up and down in excitement and jumped onto Skylar's back along with Thor who was sitting there acting all badass or trying to be.

Zacky held his hand out to the girl, "I'm Zachary Clink." Zacky said, trying to act like a gentlemen. The girl took it and he pulled her onto Skylar's back. "I'm Mika" she sniffled.

Zacky grinned. "Well Mika, hold on and give me the directions to where the place is, I'll get your friends back." Zacky replied with the up most confidence in his voice. "LET'S ROLL SKYLAR!"

The Salamence roared as he took off into the night, flying towards the police chief's house, ready for a night worth of kickass.

It was one of those little things that annoyed Chad Erics. Anybody else would have either giggled, not cared, or just passed it off as a funny coincidence. But not Chad. Instead, he couldn't take his glaring eyes off of the person at the other table, the one wearing the same sweatshirt as him.

He continued to stare for what seemed like a long time. Eventually the other boy felt the eyes upon him, looked nervously over to Chad, and then left the bench he was sitting at. That felt better. Chad finally turned to his Spinda, Toybox, who had been trying to get his attention for a while now.

"What is it?" Chad asked Toybox. The Spinda was smiling wide and balancing on one leg on top of the table. They were seated outside a restaurant in Eterna City, underneath a large umbrella which stabbed right into the middle of the table they sat at. Toybox's smile turned into a large grin, as it did almost any time somebody gave him attention. He lept off of the table and soared gracefully down to the ground, obviously aided by some form of Psychic abilities. Once he landed he began to swing his hips around and flail his arms in the air. It was quite embarrassing.

"Stop that." Chad ordered. He tapped Toybox's head, right on top of the square which served as his spot pattern. Toybox responded by tapping Chad's own box, a tattoo similar to Toybox's spot pattern, which was located on the back of his right hand. Chad shuddered. Not from Toybox's touch, but rather from the cold night air. It wasn't a great time to be eating outside, but the restaurant offered it and it smelled like smoke inside.

"Let's get going." Chad offered to Toybox, who had resumed his odd dance again. He had already paid for the meal he had eaten but he pulled out his wallet anyways to leave a tip for the waiter. After throwing a couple PokéDollars on the table Chad got up and began to leave. Toybox teetered behind, Chad didn't have to look to know he was still dancing. Now that Chad had shown distaste in the dance he could expect it to continue the rest of the night.

The two had walked a fair distance from the restaurant when Toybox tugged on Chad's pants and pointed off into the distance. The trainer's green eyes strained through the darkness to see what Spinda was pointing at. Not far away a woman dressed oddly like a maid was trying to get the attention of passerbys. So far everyone seemed to be ignoring her. As Chad approached her she ran towards him.

"Please, sir! You've got to help!" She cried frantically. Chad raised a brow inquisitively. It was possible that if he weren't so curious all the time he wouldn't be nearly as willing to help.

"What's going on?"

"There!" She pointed off into the distance, in the direction of some shops and houses. Chad couldn't see much in the poor lighting of the city, the streetlights were flickering for some reason. "there's been a break in, a little girl's in trouble!"

"I don't know how I could help," Chad began before being cut off.

"Please, I don't know what to do!"

Chad looked to Toybox, who was attempting to show off to the maid by flexing. He sighed. "Where did you say it was?"

"Well Fenrir, it looks like once again I have no idea where I am..." Reynald sighed as he looked back to his Arcanine. She had evolved about a year ago once Reynald had finally found a fire stone. Fenrir gave a happy yip and grinned at Reynald.

"Of course you don't care. You're just happy with running around and adventuring." He shook his head and smiled slightly. His silver hair caught in the moonlight as he walked down the road entering Eterna. He was wearing a dark red, button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to just past his elbows, dark blue jeans, and normal shoes. Eterna was eerily quiet as far as cities went. Reynald stopped, brushed his hair aside, and looked around the city with his crimson eyes. There was practically nobody, aside from the occasional squad car on patrol, out tonight. "At least I wont have to worry about people freaking out again..." Reynald mused darkly, "Cmon girl, let's see if we can find a place to sleep tonight." And with that he began walking down the road again.

Reynald hadn't been walking for more than a few minutes when suddenly he saw blue and red lights flashing behind him. "Great...." Reynald groaned before turning around. He squeezed his eyes shut quickly as the search light nearly blinded him. Finally the light turned off and the car door opened.

"Hold it right there, sir!" The officer called as he climbed out, hand on his holster, "Just what do you think your doing out here?" He was slightly overweight and balding. The little hair he had was poorly combed over in a failed attempt to cover up the massive lack of hair.

"Walking last I checked, " Reynald mocked with a sarcastic grin as he stuffed his hands into his pockets, "Is there a law against it? If so I can ride on her." He knew it was only a matter of time before...

"Get your hands out of your pockets and stop being a smart ass, freak!" The officer called threateningly, "Just for that I should take you in."

Reynald growled slightly and withdrew his hands, "Why? Because I felt like exercising instead of eating donuts and getting fat? Or because my eyes and hair creep you out?" Fenrir growled behind Reynald and crouched low, waiting.

The officer stalked forward until he was nose to nose with Reynald, who merely glared back with a mocking and confident smirk. Things would have been much worse if, right when it seemed like they were about to fight, the cops radio crackled to life, calling him away. "I'll deal with you later freak." The cop sneered before returning to his car and driving off.

Reynald glared at the car until it was out of sight. He sighed and turned around, patting Fenrir on the cheek affectionately. Reynald once again began his trek down the empty street of Eterna. It wasn't always like that. In fact, a few years ago Reynald was exceedingly nice to everyone. But as he traveled more and more, it seemed people became less and less tolerable of his looks. People usually chased him out of towns or just simply attacked him to drive him out. Reynald growled slightly as he remembered a few choice towns that took hating crimson eyes and silver hair to a whole new level.

He sighed and slowly began rubbing a scar on his right forearm. The scar was barely noticeable on his tan skin, but it ran from his elbow to just short of his wrist. Reynald smiled as he remembered the day he got it, "I wonder what has happened to her...I haven't talked to her since the boat ride..." It was interesting how that one little scar kept reminding him of her. Reynald continued to muse as he walked. A few people could be seen on the fringes of his peripheral vision as he neared a particularly rich looking part of town. Two were talking down another road, a woman was waving her arms and pointing to a guy in a sweatshirt. Reynald stopped and looked around, "I wonder what is going on..."

Fenrir gave a "heads up" woof, causing Rey to turn just in time to see a guy run up to him. The man looked like a butler and spoke with a British accent, "Sir, you have to co..." The man was cut short as his fear over Reynald's eyes took over, "Help! Somebody!"

Reynald grabbed the man's wrist before he could run away, "Stop being an idiot, I'm not going to bite and neither will she. She will give you a good licking if you let her. Now what do you need?" Reynald said gruffly, trying to conceal his annoyance.

The butler looked around fearfully before swallowing and smiling shakily, "Nothing, Sir, I mistook you for somebody else. Now if you please, " He pulled his arm free and ran away from Reynald.

Reynald growled loudly and yelled a few curses. He was SICK of people treating him like he was a plague or a monster! He looked at Fenrir, "Something is up girl. Do you think you can sniff it out for me? They can burn me if they think I wont help."

"I hope Miss Mia isn't too mad about Casey taking her special dress without her permission for the wedding, Fabelle," A boy with golden brown hair was walking down the sidewalk in Eterna. Unlike most others at this time of night, he wasn't exactly dressed the same. Instead, he had a White long sleeved shirt with a black pinstripe vest buttoned over it, and with it, some black pants. He almost looked like a butler or waiter, but those kind of people don't exactly have really large cats with them.

"I swear, sometimes, she gets so jealous. I mean, just because she insulted Casey and said she had no taste at all doesn't mean that Casey had to steal and ruin this really pretty dress." Ethan looked down at the rather elegant dress in his hands, stopping at a streetlight to get a better look at it under the golden glow, now looking rather messy with various stains of some kind on them. He even thought she may have spit on it. Ethan sighed, and said to the silent Purugly, "I just hope she forgives us. But at least the wedding went off well!"

Today was the day of the wedding that would bind together forever more the lives of Ethan's Aunt Delilah and some random guy she found on the street. "Honestly, Auntie gets married to waaaay too many weirdos. My gosh, how many has she married so far?" Ethan was asking this more to himself than to his feline friend, although the Purugly did let out a mrow of amusement, although it was mostly in spite of the woman. "Oh, come on, Fabelle, it's not my fault she doesn't like cute kitties like you, or, um, most Pokemon, and simply HAS to make me tie you to a leash at a tree a mile away," The Purugly growled at remembering this, recalling how all the little children at the park wanted to pet and hug her.

"But she is a good person, like when she had said that if I went and told my mom some words when I was young, she'd let me come to all her weddings," The cat glared at him when she heard this, "Okay, so maybe telling my mother that she's a slutty bitch wasn't the best idea, but Auntie said she didn't know! And she wouldn't lie to me, because, you know, lying is wrong and stuff." The cat let out a sigh, and then started moving more quickly than the pace at which they were going in the first place, flitting in and out of the shadows of the streetlights.

Ethan sighed, allowing his hazelnut colored eyes to drift towards the cement, and caught up to Fabelle. After some moments of awkward silence, Ethan apologized, saying, "Okay, I know Auntie isn't the greatest person, but, you have to look for the good in everybody, you know?" Silence. "Alright, I'm sorry, I'll try not to go to any of her weddings anymore." More silence. "AND, I'll make sure you don't get tied to another tree and nearly bite some children's hands off from them overly petting you." He then murmured to himself, "Thank gosh I got to you before you got to that poor girl…." Not hearing this comment, the cat moved from the shadows of the night towards Ethan, and rubbed her white and grey-blue fur against his leg, purring, and Ethan knew that Fabelle would be fine again.

"Well, we finally made it to Miss Mia's house. I hope she's home, so I don't have to climb through the window again!" Ethan grinned, and the Purugly took a sharp glare at him. "Oh, you know I'm kidding," Ethan said smiling, as they neared the huge house of his recent acquaintance, "Anyway, we're he-Oh my." As they stood in front of the doorway, Ethan put his hands to his mouth, causing the dress to fall, although it was caught by his companion's back.

"Now, what happened here?" The elegant doors of the house were broken open, one on the floor, and the other hanging by a hinge. Stepping inside, Ethan saw the extent of the damage. Tables were overturned, Papers were all over the floor, and most importantly, "Oh my gosh! Mia's poor carpet!" Ethan dropped to the floor, moving his hand over the velvet, saying, "Mia's poor carpet! It, it," Ethan said, quivering, not wanting to speak of what tainted thing was on the normally beautiful carpet, as his companion moved towards him.

"It has a stain!"

(Okay, so it's a little shorter than most, but when the only person you have to talk to is a Purugly, it's not exactly going to be wrought with dialogue.)

Shiny Motley

2016 Singles Football
"Rin, Len, stop that!" cried a young girl as she and her three Pokémon, a shiny Eevee, a Plusle, and a Minun emerged from a Pokémon Center. The two electric-types were, once again, sparking at each other in a sort of fun yet violent way. It was obvious that Len, her Minun, was picking on Rin again, and the Plusle, who lacked control over her electricity, kept accidentally harming her fellow Pokémon and her trainer, as well as herself, as she tried to defend herself. The Eevee was obviously intrigued by the battle, seeing it as a daily sort of entertainment. Lyn, on the other hand, saw it as a distraction and a great way to get unnecessary injuries.

The Plusle and Minun, though, had seemingly ignored her and kept on attacking each other, only to make Shiny, Lyn's Eevee, even more amused and Lyn more frustrated. "Oh, what the hell, return, both of you," she muttered, whipping out two spherical objects that was neatly divided into two halves, one red and the other white, by a black band and a small button, and returning the twin Cheer Pokémon into their respective Pokéballs. Her Eevee looked slightly downcast for a moment, but then started bouncing around at the young trainer's foot again. Lyn sighed; this was going to be a long day.

Eterna City was a real hassle for the young girl. The place was too green, too peaceful except for the random Galactic building. Everywhere she went, she saw oddballs that kept asking her strange questions. "Where are you from? You have an accent." "Hey, where'd you get your Pokémon? I've never seen them before?" "Cutie, wanna go out with me~" The list goes on. Yes, the city was an odd one. She hoped the gym leader in the area wasn't that bad, though she was aware that her three Pokémon were probably no match for the grass-type gym leader. She had no idea how she even beat Roark; it just... happened. Maybe it was because I had Roden's Breloom with me, the girl thought, recounting the events from her first gym battle. Seta, her "brother's" Breloom, along with some Roden's other Pokémon, was lent to her for a while when her "brother" was still in Kanto packing the last things before they moved here. Though none of her brother's other Pokémon cared much for her, Seta had always had a sort of soft spot for Lyn, and was only too willing to help her with her first gym match, giving her an easy victory. The girl didn't have any of Roden's Pokémon with her right now, though, and she was sure she would either need more Pokémon or train her current team more before she even dreamed of challenging Gardenia.

Feeling a tug on her jeans, Lyn looked down and saw Shiny pulling on her pants with her teeth. The trainer asked, "Something wrong?" The Eevee turned her head and nodded kind of upwards, signaling that someone was there that wanted to talk to the young trainer. As she lifted her head, Lyn saw a man, probably around the age of her brother, if not older, looking at her intently. When their eyes met, however, the man's expression changed from anxiety to shock. Lyn fought down the urge to laugh at the sudden change; though she was used to people looking surprised after seeing her deep violet eyes, it was still quite funny to watch their faces alter in such a way. Instead, the girl inquired, "May I helps you?"

The man regained control over himself and nodded in a formal manner. Must be a butler of some sort, the stupid way he acts, Lyn thought, but let him continue. "Miss, pardon me, but can you please help my mistress? Please?" There was a sense of urgency in his voice, and Lyn could feel waves of fear and worry emanate from him. The girl was quite annoyed by this man, probably a butler by the formality of his speech and the way he carried himself, who had randomly come up to her and asked for her help. But she shrugged. There was something about the situation that made her agree to help him. Perhaps it was the insistence in his voice, or the worried look in his eyes. Maybe it was the emotions Lyn could feel coming from him. In any case, she nodded in agreement, and the butler sighed with relief. "Thank you, miss," he managed to utter. Then he beckoned her to follow him and said, "Come with me, then."

Gosh, why can't people solve their own problems these days? thought the young trainer as she trailed behind the man, with Shiny bounding after him beside her.

The picturesque flowers swayed in the puffs of air that seemed to carry the serenity of the nearby city all the way to the outskirts of Eterna Forest. The small, lusciously green ferns were leaning to one side, held there by the gentle yet unchangeable wind that was blowing that afternoon. The trees in the forest seemed to be alive, each one a monument in their own right to their own little community of small insects and pokémon.

A young man no older than eighteen was sat on a bench on the periphery of the woods sharing their name with the city nearby, his fingers a blur and his eyes focussed on the small laptop sat on his jean-clad lap. He was mumbling to himself, mentally checking off commands and jobs. Click, click, click; the sound of his mouse stood out against the quiet, calm atmosphere of the Eterna Woods. He stopped for a moment, zoning back to reality and brushing a couple of loose hairs from his black t-shirt.

The adolescent watched them drift slowly to the floor, observing them carefully for no apparent reason before he once again got distracted. This time it was by a deep velvety coloured pokémon, long and thin in stature and clearly angered as it was once asleep behind him.

"Whoa! Easy does it, Eve, eh?" the teenager said before looking around to see what his Seviper was so uptight about. He spotted a middle aged gentleman wearing clothes that made him look like some kind of servant, or he'd just come from a wedding. Either way, Eve was clearly annoyed at him. The young man glanced down to see her tail under his foot, but he wasn't paying any attention, clearly too busy looking around for someone.

The teenager on the bench began closing his programs on his laptop, clicking the red crosses faster than an Arcanine could run. He finally moved his mouse to log off in the last window he had opened, an internet window. He clicked on the button labelled "Log off: LoN". After a brief wait, he moved to shut the computer down, the screen slowly turning grey and a message appearing: "Shutting down: Adam. Saving your settings, please wait…" He shut the lid and reached to his bag on the opposite end of the wooden bench, sliding the lithe piece of equipment in. Adam got up, and tapped the older man on his shoulder before putting his bag across his shoulder.

"D'you mind? You're standing on a rather pissed off Seviper," explained Adam, the man jumping upwards in fright. He clearly didn't expect a voice, and even less expected him to be standing on such a large poison type without knowing it.

"I am so sorry, sir, ma'am!" the man said with a nod and a slight bow to each of the pair. "I'm just so worried, I need to find someone. Help! Help! Anyone!" the man in the suit screamed, reaching his arm into the air and waving.

Adam reached out quickly and grabbed his arm. "Whoa! Chill, seriously. What's got your tongue; why not ask me for help?"

The man in the suit looked down at the ground for a second, and said "You're right. I'm so sorry, it's just… I'm Oliver. You have to help, my client is being held hostage! I managed to escape, but…"

"Where?" Adam simply said.

The butler pointed towards a building on the edge of Eterna City, which was faintly visible. And with that, Adam began running towards the urban horizon, his Seviper slithering behind in hot pursuit leaving the bewildered Oliver on the outskirts of Eterna Woods.

ooc| Duuuuuude I'm late so sorry been at school 'til ten every night for rehearsalllssssssss hahahahahahahah :|

The rumbling grumbling resonating roll of a growl that sliced through the peace of the evening seized the muscles in her shoulders and neck, jolting her naturally tall posture into a startled leap. Craning her neck in a number of directions, she pushed and flicked the locks of thick mahogany curls away from her face to create a better view of the approaching monolith. Staring daggers into the thick darkness, a single pale knuckle rubbed impatiently against the thick lashes of her eye, even as the vivid green iris beneath contracted and widened to catch the maximum amount of light from the silver moon and surrounding pinpricks of starshine.

Soon enough the silvery belly of the Salamence tore across the sky, crimson wings beating the air in a mighty, steady rhythm. Concern furrowed her brows and creased the smooth expanse of porcelain skin, and a small pout pulled at the corner of her soft mouth. Following the obvious course with her eyes, one of the taller homes in the distance stood out, if not for any reason other than the lights were on. Her curiosity peaked, she kept her gaze trained on the building but buckled her knees and crouched lower with a hand tugging at the vivid red of her shorts to keep them in place. Cringing lightly at the pops and crackles of stiff joints being given their reprieve, she felt the static exchange as her fingers met the soft goldenrod fur of the Raichu whose chocolatey eyes she could feel boring into the side of her face. Cupping the electric-types chest into a firm, scooping grip, she straightened herself and propped the curious creature on her hip like a small child, wary of the heavy scythe-like bolt on her tail that swayed from side to side. Continuing on her leisurely pace, her heart rate and footsteps only quickened when a heavy marble lamp came rocketing out one of the tall second-story windows, shattering the glass and creating a small shower of menacing silver shards. From there, her breath caught in her throat and she could feel much the same shock passing through the body of the pokemon on her hip. Breaking into a sprint, she hardly noticed the rhythmic beats of her own traveller's bag against her thigh, nor the push of padded feet as the tightly coiled muscles in the Raichu's legs launched the pokemon a few feet ahead of her before they had broken into a panicky sprint towards the looming walls of the great house.

Even from a distance, it was obvious she was not the first to arrive as vibrant streaks of color sped towards the house, and monochromatic blurs of black and white tore away from it. From inside, the groans and moans spilled out with a gut-wrenching clarity, and without a word in response to the hired hands' bleats for aid she pushed her way in through the front door, grunting as she caught herself on a pillar in an attempt to keep herself from tripping over the man crouched down and meticulously picking at the carpet, his young face mere inches away from the delicate weaving. Her expression more surprised and baffled than anything else, she took no notice of the soft body that slid into her calf from across the narrow expanse of polished floor before the wide door frame. Allowing a moment of hesitation for the Raichu to right herself, the girl regained her own balance and straightened out the cuff of her boots before stepping around the hunched body to determine whether the stranger was hunched over in pain or.... whatever other reason he may have had to drop onto the floor.

"Sir, are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"AIEEEEEEEEE! Can you make this stupid lizard go slower?!" Mika bellowed in fear over the Dragon Pokémon's wing beats. Zacky turned around and said "Wha…? Oh right."

Zacky nudged Skylar and commanded him to slow down so Mika wouldn't blow his ear drum out. The dragon nodded as he slowed down to a gentle glide over the forest tops. Flocks of Murkrow and Honchkrow's flew out of the tree tops in fear of Skylar, but that didn't bother the proud dragon. He was the ruler of the skies, or until Rayquaza saw fit to Hyper Beam the dragon out of the sky. The edge of the forest began to appear in the dark sky. Noticing this, Luffy grabbed Zacky's shirt sleeve and yanked on it, getting his attention.

"Yeah Luff's?" He inquired, the Infernape pointed towards the edge of the forest. Grinning, Zacky turned his head towards Mika, who was hugging Zacky as hard as she could into his back.

"Mika, where is this mansion?" He asked. Mika slowly raised her head off of Zacky's back and started to give directions towards the house. Skylar circled around the house looking for a spot to land, he decided to land near the far side of the house with a giant glass window on the first floor.

The wing beats of Skylar's wings created a dust storm, causing the group to cough. Skylar chuckled at this. Patting off his clothes, Zacky brought out two black spheres with decorations on them. "You guys know the drill, paper rock scissors." He said with humor.

The Raichu and Infernape turned to each other and stared daggers at one another. Slamming their fist in their palms three times, Luffy dished out a rock while Thor sent out a scissor. Luffy laughed and began to jump around in winning the duel. Thor just sat there with a scowl on his face.

"Sorry Thor, back in your ball!" Zacky laughed, clicking the button in the middle of the ball and enveloping Thor in a bright light and sending him back into his Luxury Ball. Zacky then turned to Luffy and proceed to clasp hands with his best friend. "Let's kick some gum and chew some ass and I'm all out of ass." Zacky said while trying to stifle a laugh.

"Ape, Inferna!" Luffy said while laughing. Zacky lost his grin on his face and proceed to flip Luffy off and turned towards Mika.

"And where do you think your going?" Zacky said sternly. Mika looked at him with surprise before replying. "I'm going in to save Mia. What do you think I'm going to do, strip down and give a lap dance?" Mika said with distaste.

"No, but I like that idea better though." Muttered Zacky, trying to hide his smile.

"Sicko." Mika thought with upmost distaste.

Zacky walked towards Mika and picked her up and threw her back on Skylar. "Hey!" she began to protest, "I want to help!"

"Well, help by getting the police; I'll get your friend back. Luffy here is stronger then all these asshats combined" Zacky said. He then commanded Skylar to take off into the sky, sending Mika flying towards the city, yelling curses and threats to Zacky. He just shrugged the insults off, he's been called worse.

Zacky turned to the glass window. He began to grin wildly, Luffy turned to him in horror, protesting; "Infernape! Ape!" he pleaded.

Zacky took no heed and charged head first into the glass window, breaking the glass, sending it flying everywhere causing a loud sound to ring throughout the house.. Zacky rolled onto the soft carpet on his left side and stood up in a crouch, looking at his area to see if anyone is in there, he noticed the room was completely trashed. The furniture was ripped, the pictures were knocked down. If Zacky had to take a guess, he was in the living room.

Luffy jumped through the window, carefully dodging the glass shards on the carpet and walked towards Zacky's side.

"Ape…" He said, shaking his head. "Quit yo bitchin, you know me." Zacky laughed and playfully punched his best friend in the arm.

"What the fuck?!" bellowed a man behind him, standing in the door way. He was tall, smelly and wore a lot of leather. If Zacky had to guess, the man was still stuck in the 80's.

"INTRUDER, GUYS!" Bellowed the Greaser. "Go Marowak!" he added while reaching into his jacket and grabbing a pokeball and releasing the Marowak from its ball.

"Use Bone Rush!" The Greaser commanded. The Marowak nodded and raised his club, rushing towards Zacky and Luffy, preparing to beat them to death.

"Shit!" Zacky said in horror.

Reynald whipped his head around as he rode on Fenrir, who was sniffing out the disaster zone. There were NO cops in sight. "You'd think with all the commotion that SOMEONE would have bothered right girl?" He said with a wry grin, "So either we are dealing with geniuses or those butlers aren't very smart..." Fenrir gave a small chortle as she rounded a corner and bounded down a back alley. The house she was aiming for came closer and closer into sight. Reynald slid off and ran to the back door once they were close enough.

"Ok. You wait outside and pin down anyone who doesn't look like a pompous servant." He ordered as he checked to make sure the door wasn't locked. The lock wasn't even there. Fenrir gave him a sad look and whined slightly. "I'm sorry girl, if you weren't so big I'd take you with me." Reynald sighed as Fenrir whined and got into a pouncing stance, "No no...you can't tear the house down so you'll fit....as funny as that would be." He gave her a quick scratch behind the ear before facing the door, "Now go...and be careful please." Fenrir licked him affectionately and went to patrol the house.

Reynald slowly creaked open the door and slipped inside. He quickly surveyed the room he was in. Reynald stood in a hallway with a few pillars holding up the stairs that led to the second floor. He could see the front door that was destroyed across the hall from him. Papers and tables were flipped and it sounded like some fighting was coming from the room to Reynald's right. But that was not what caught his attention. In front of the front door were two people. One was a small boy who looked like he was about to have an OCD seizure over the stains that littered the carpet. The other was an all too familiar face. When he had last saw her, she had a Pikachu with her. Obviously it had evolved into the Raichu that was now looking around protectively. Reynald raised one hand to his mouth and shouted.

"Hey Belle!..." It was all he could say before he heard a noise to his left, causing him to turn and brace himself.

A Cubone rushed out at him, wielding his bone like a two handed sword. Reynald raised his arms to block the downward strike of the rushing Pokemon. Reynald pivoted and grabbed the Cubone's wrist, swinging his leg low to trip it. He then tugged and hurled the small Pokemon into the room that was on his right, now behind him. A man came rushing out of the room the Cubone had with his arm drawn back ready to launch a punch.

The man looked like Johnny Nogerelli from Grease 2, and spoke like him too, "You punk! You wont..." the man faltered as he caught site of Rey's smoldering eyes, "What the hell are you!?"

Reynald wasted no time and lashed out with his right elbow, causing the man's neck to snap back and send him reeling. The man grabbed at his nose and rushed at Reynald again. Rey swung high to catch the man on the jaw, but at the last second the man ducked and ran his shoulder into Reynald's abdomen. Rey coughed and caught himself on the nearby pillar. The Nogerelli knock off landed a few more good punches before tackling Reynald, sending both of them onto the Living room couch and the Cubone that had just managed to get back onto his feet.

The constant sound of two pairs of footsteps broke through the night air as Chad and the maid approached the large house in the distance. "That's it, right?" Chad asked, though he could tell already it was. Despite being a fair ways away from the estate, the trainer could already tell how fancy this house was. He was excited to get a peek inside, even if would be fighting dangerous criminals as he did so.

Chad suddenly realized the maid had stopped walking. He looked back at her. "...This is as close as I'm going to get." She stated, blushing. She was obviously traumatized by the break in. Chad nodded sympathetically. The maid took off, leaving Chad alone as Toybox had chosen to be in his PokeBall, most likely to make Chad feel uncomfortable being alone with the stranger.

After a few minutes Chad reached the house. It was even more stuning up close. He decided against the front door and kept himself relatively hidden. One didn't get many opportunities to be sneaky, so Chad decided to make the best out of this one. He looked through the windows to check for a safe entrance. He could see inside a dark living room, and past that what appeared to be a door to the kitchen. Chad smiled, they were already being robbed, surely they wouldn't miss just a few snacks... They WERE rich, after all.

Chad tried to open the window, with little success. He wondered how the criminals had gotten in, but figured they'd probably just smashed it. As much as he wanted to, the teen knew it could possibly attract attention that he didn't want. He had to find another way to get in.

Reaching for his belt, he grabbed a scratched up Great Ball. Opening it as quietly as possible, he whispered to the newly formed Barboach. "Limus," Chad said once they had appeared fully. "I need your help with something." Chad reached down and picked up Limus the Barboach and held him towards the window.

"Use Hidden Power, please." Chad said while smiling. Every Pokemon's Hidden Power type was different, in both power and type. The more orbs they formed the more powerful the attack was. Barboach happened to have a very weak Hidden Power type, creating only one or two orbs at max, but it came in handy very often. Its type appeared to be Fire, and it was very useful for lighting wood, or perhaps melting the glass in stubborn windows...

A small orb appeared in front of Limus's mouth, growing larger slightly and lighting up a bit. It slowly inched towards the window. The glass began to melt, as Chad had hoped it would. after a while a large enough hole had formed for Chad to squeeze into. He thanked and returned Limus before crawling through the hole. "Ouch!" Chad shouted, burning his hand on the hot glass as he grasped it. "Damn it." He muttered, rubbing it.

Toybox let himself out of his PokeBall suddenly, and without warning hoisted Chad telekinetically into the air and through the hole without touching any of the glass. He then proceeded to do the same with himself. Chad smiled and tapped Toybox's box. Toybox returned the favor. "Wanna grab a quick snack?" Chad asked, sneaking towards the kitchen.

Toybox and Chad entered the kitchen, which was absolutely incredible looking, except for the fact that it was occupied. "Ah!" Chad accidently expressed at the sight of two oddly garbed men raiding the fancy metallic freezer. They spun around quickly, mouths stuffed several popsicles at once.

"...The hell is that?" One grunt asked, spitting out his popsicles, which fell on the decoratively tiled floor. He reached for a PokeBall at his belt. "Alright kid, start talking!"

Chad couldn't help but laugh. These men didn't look very intimidating, especially when Toybox was mocking them from behind their backs like he was currently doing. Ready for a battle, Toybox ceased the mocking and stood defensively in front of his trainer. Two PokeBalls flew across the kitchen, releasing a Dusclops from one and a Machoke from the other. Chad readied one of his own PokeBalls, knowing Toybox enjoyed fighting alongside a partner.

"Jepetto, battle time." Chad smiled, releasing his Drifloon. Jepetto shivered, unlike most Ghost types he seemed to dislike colder temperatures, which was why he had a white and red scarf wrapped snuggly around what could pass as a neck at all times. Chad didn't have to tell his Pokemon who their opponents would be, as they were aware of the type advantages they held with their attacks. Toybox took a place in front of the Machoke while Jepetto floated over to the Dusclops. "Good luck." Chad muttered as a smile spread across his face.

Fabelle immediately snarled as this new face entered the run, and deftly jumped onto the banister of a staircase when she came to close, landing with each paw perfectly positioned, poised and on edge in case this relatively tall woman was a possible threat to her trainer. Ethan, however, had taken no notice of this person until she had started to speak to him. Trembling there for a second, he turned to her, eyes wide, and stared straight into her irises, and said, "Th-th-the carpet! It has a stai-"

At this point he was cut off when another person had entered the wreckage of the foyer, apparently calling the name of the woman he was speaking to, as her and Ethan were the only ones in there until he showed up, and Ethan certainly hadn't met or seen anyone with odd darkened red eyes and most likely no one that isn't extremely old with silverish hair. As he was about to shake himself out of his stupor and get up so as to tell this person who comes randomly barging in off for interrupting him before Ethan could finish what he was saying. But just before Ethan opened his mouth, a Pokemon wielding a club and wearing a skull immediately attacked the man, and shortly thereafter, another man in odd garb came running in from the living area and started fighting with him.

However, before Ethan could tell them both off for duking it out in the middle of the house, they were both flung back into the room from which the man with the Cubone had come from. And he was NOT going in there. He turned to the woman he was speaking with before and continued, saying, "Well. Just to recap before THAT happened, the carpet has a stain, which is much more important than fighting. I'm going to head to the basement to find some cleaning supplies, or maybe something like that. I wonder if I'll meet any of those mean people down there. Ohhh, if I do, they're going to get it for ruining Miss Mia's house! Anyway, bye, Miss Belle!"

Immediately after saying so, he walked towards the stairs at the end of the foyer, leading into a dark abyss. As he reached them, he waved at the woman one last time, and descended into the murky depths of the basement to find what he was looking for, Fabelle following suit after jumping from its aforementioned spot down to the ground, and before it went down the stairs, it had looked back at Belle and snarled one last time.

"Oh wow, it's really dark in here…"Ethan said to his prowling cat friend trailing behind them as he was going down the spiral of seemingly endless stairs. "Fabelle, could you maybe use Flash to brighten it up a bit?" Although he didn't hear a response, the staircases began to glow a bright yellow, illuminating the room, and Ethan didn't need to turn around to find that his Purugly was now faintly glowing, each fur with its own small light. If Ethan was correct, the whiskers of his cat should even be glowing. With that, he continued descending.

"Ah! I think I see the end, Fabelle!" And he was correct, it seemed they had finally reached the clearing. As he started surveying the room, he saw it was mostly barren except for the shelves with the cleaning suppilies that were needed, a turned out lamp, and two weird guys started to wake up from Fabelle's glowing body… "Oh my gosh! Fabelle! Turn off the lights!" Ethan said, waving his arms frantically at her. Hearing this frantic command, the Purugly's fur immediately stopped glowing and the room was engulfed with darkness once more, but it was too late.

"Hmmm…Hey! What was that light?"

"It was probably nothing, so just shut up and let me rest."

"I'm going to check it out anyway." Click. As quickly as the room was put into darkness, the lamp just as quickly lit it up again. Dunsparce. "Hey!? What's this kid doing here!" Another odd man, dressed in mostly leather, was startled as he saw Ethan, and went over to shake his partner awake.

"Hm? Gah! We gotta get rid of him, quick! Come on out, Gengar!" The second man took a Poke Ball out from his leather belt and from it came a ghostly monster with a huge scary grin on its face.

"You too, Sandslash!" The other grunt, already holding a Ball in hand, threw it, and from it came a spiky shrew-like Pokemon.

Taken aback by this Ethan yelped a resonating, "KYAAA!" jumping away from the two menacing Pokemon. Giving himself a second to calm down, he continued, stuttering, " Y-You aren't going to be mean, are you?" Before the two could answer though, he said, changing his demeanor from a frightened boy to an experienced fighter, "Well! I can't take any chances! Fabelle, use Fake Out!"

The cat, hearing this, gave as huge a smile as the Gengar, eyes glinting, and immediately flashed out of sight, as if it was disappearing in thin air. But in reality, it was moving at a blinding speed, and for a few seconds appeared in front of the bewildered duo's Pokemon, raised a huge claw, and slashed at the two, raking the Sandslash's side and startling the Gengar, even though the move fazed right through it. As quickly as it appeared, it had left, and appeared back at Ethan's side. "That was a warning. So please, I think you should stop now~" Ethan happily said, grasping his two hands together, smiling.

OOC: Long post is loooooong :( If someone could come to help, that'd be awesome kthx.

The dark alley was just that — dark. Adam cautiously stepped forward, looking around dirty dustbins and toppled trash cans. What appeared to be some kind of Rattata or other small annoying pokémon, for the shadows obscured its true identity, ran out in front of him. A yelp escaped the teenager before realising what he was facing, before having a laugh escape him as well.

Eve managed to catch up after a while, sidling her way into the alley with grace and finesse, or as much grace and finesse a Seviper could manage. She brought herself to a stop as she approached her trainer, who promptly began glancing around the alley. It didn't matter what time of day it was, the side street was nearly pitch-black regardless. Or so it seemed to the trainer anyway. He ruffled his hands through his already extremely ruffled brown hair and thought about what to do next. He snapped his fingers and looked around to his serpentine companion with a grin smeared across his tired face.

"Spit some flames out here for us, Eve, will you?" Adam asked, his smile changing to a frown of concentration as he waited for the light. The flames were launched from the snake's mouth, passing around her large, crimson incisors with no harm to her. The flames flickered after a few feet, illuminating the alley. The trash cans and dumpsters came into clear view, and Adam could see that it was actually a Grimer which slid, not ran, out in front of him earlier. The toxic poison type covered its eyes and glided on its own sludge around a corner, going deeper into the alley. Adam looked to where the Grimer went, his eyes following the walls until he spotted a metallic staircase crawling up the wall. It lead to a door, with a light on inside.

"That's the building that Oliver talked about, that one there," Adam said, pointing to the door. He began jogging forward carefully, his arms alternating direction at his side and his eyes swapping between looking at the stairs and where he was going. Eve slid elegantly along behind him, her mouth forming a smile of sorts. Clank, clank, clank, the stairs groaned. And according to the man built like a barbarian who opened the door rapidly to see what was making the noise, the stairs were loud and obvious too.

"Hey!" was all the man managed to say before Eve was on top of him, slowly constricting him so he couldn't move. Eve didn't want to cause harm to him, she just wanted no harm to come to her trainer. Adam didn't even know how she got up there so fast, and was still vaguely confused as he walked inside. He found his serpent tangled around the man who spotted him, she looked at the man with that same smile as he squirmed to get away from her. He was clearly shocked and afraid.

The room was dimly lit by a single bulb; it was clearly a storage room. Boxes lined the walls forming an intimidating cardboard fortress of sorts. He shut the door behind him, locking himself in this castle. And it seems that they already had an occupied dungeon, going by the fact that there was a group of prisoners with duct tape across their mouths and around their limbs. The wrapping was clearly crudely done, and it became more apparent as another man built like a barbarian stepped from around the box with a maniac-like grin.

"I'd say settle this like men," the man grinned, "But judging by your musculature, I'd say we'll settle this like boys," he said, reaching to his belt and unclipping a simple pokéball.

He threw it to where his companion was, revealing a black quadruped with a shining spine, adorned with armour that was covered in nicks and scratches. The pokémon was clearly battle-hardened, and his azure eyes glimmered in anticipation.

"Eve… let go of him, he's well and truly unconscious now anyway," Adam smirked, indicating the Lairon next to her. She slithered slowly around her captor until she was free, and she instantly took a nasty swipe on her side from the Lairon. She hissed in anger and began constricting her metallic opponent with haste.

"Whoa, easy there Eve! Use Flamethrower!" commanded Adam, a little shock in his voice at how violent Eve became, regardless of the fact that she was a giant serpent. The purple and black battler opened her mouth again, but not in anger this time. From the innards of the snake erupted a giant flame, scorching the Steel-type pokémon badly on its armour and back. It was clearly out for the count when the flames ceased, though the Metal Claw attack had took its toll on the serpent, who was nuzzling the side of her body.

"Heh… Let's see how she likes this then," the criminal said with a grin. Once again, he reached for a standard pokéball attached to his belt and he tossed it in front of him, revealing a white pokémon on all fours. Several scarlet stripes seemed to surround the white fur underneath, evidence of past battles with a singular pokémon, and the feud is ongoing between the pair.

Instantaneously the Zangoose launched itself at the Seviper, slashing with its claws at the arch enemy of its species. Eve was already well and truly hurt from the Lairon's claws, let alone this manic Zangoose. Adam reached to his belt quickly, retrieving her Timer Ball and returning her, whispering to the ball.

"Sorry… I'll get you healed as soon as possible." He moved his arm to his belt again, swapping the Timer Ball with a shining white ball, what was known well in Hoenn as a Premier Ball. They were given as gifts to customers in the shops occasionally.

"Let's see how he likes his own medicine, then," the adolescent whispered, again. He pushed the button in the center of the ball's diameter, expanding and then releasing its contents on to the harsh and battle-torn floor. A purple pokémon came into view, and it was simply a purple splodge with a face.

Adam simply said with a smirk, "Jaden. Do your worst."

With that, the purple pokémon began changing shape. It grew, though not by a lot, in size, and four limbs began to form; Two at the back and two at the front, the front couple growing a pair of sharp claws. A head was rising from the body, and sure enough, a complete copy of the criminal's Zangoose stood before him. The pair looked at each other, eyes flashing. They leapt at each other with equal power, cloned claws and natural claws raging with anger and screams coming from the depths of each gladiator's throat.

Shiny Motley

2016 Singles Football
"Here's the house, and I'll leave you here, miss," the butler said, smiling at Lyn. Though he looked rather controlled, Lyn could tell that he was, in reality, worried about something. She didn't have time to take a full analysis of his emotions, though, as he was already heading off someplace, probably to hide or get the police. Which made her wonder, why hadn't the police come to help yet? Why did no one contact them anyways?

That didn't matter to the young trainer, though. "C'mmon, Shiny, let's find a ways to gets in there without attracting much attention to ourselves," she muttered as she walked around the house cautiously. The shiny Pokemon, on the other hand, bounded behind her without a care of what was going on. Perhaps it would be better if she was nonchalant about all this, but all the same, Lyn couldn't help but be careful in a situation like this.

Suddenly, Lyn was aware that her Pokemon wasn't following her anymore. Turning around, the girl saw that her Eevee was pinned to the ground by a giant red and yellow with black stripes canine-like Pokemon. Arcanine by what Lyn could tell from her brother's descriptions. Shiny was struggling against the weight of the Pokemon, though the fire-type seemed to be wagging its tail happily, as if it was playing around. Lyn felt like laughing at the scene, though had no idea how to convince the Arcanine to let Shiny free; she really didn't want to have an unnecessary battle before the real deal. Then she noticed that the Arcanine had hidden a door behind it, him, her, whatever gender the Pokemon was. Must be a way in. she thought. "Hey, Shiny, just stay theres and distract that Arcanine while I sneaks in," Lyn told her Pokemon. The Eevee whimpered a bit, and Lyn replied, "Don't worries, it just looks like it wants to play with you and not hurt you, as long as you don't hurt it." More whimpering. "I promise I'll be back as soon as I cans," said the girl before hurrying off through the door.

When she entered the mansion, though she had expected some pandemonium, she didn't expect this. There were many people in just this one room: someone who looked injured or something, some random female, a male person who had unusual silver hair and startling red eyes, and... oh great. The last guy didn't look like any of the other three; in fact, the silver-haired red-eyed person was fighting him, not Pokemon-battle fight but as in actual punch-kick-dodge-whatevers type of fighting.

Having had no experience in such a thing, Lyn carefully stepped backwards to avoid the scene, but her path was blocked by a Cubone who, she guessed, belonged to the "bad guy". The trainer gritted her teeth in frustration; none of her Pokemon were that good yet, and she really didn't want to fight the Cubone herself. But really, she had no choice but to kick it.

Not a smart idea.

Oh gods, if there was anything one should know, it was to never agravate a Pokemon in any situation. The girl was only just able to dodge an incoming clubbing from the ground-type Pokemon by dodging to the side and leaping away. Turns out flexibility did help at times. But she wasn't so lucky the second time; the Cubone managed to hit her left arm, making her hear a snapping noise from their point of contact and feel a sharp, almost sour pain run up through her body. "Dammit," she muttered, pulling her blue jacket off and making a makeshift sling to support her arm. Luckily the Cubone had gone away, probably thinking she wasn't worth fighting anymore if she could be defeated so easily, allowing her to have enought time to make the sling with only her right hand. She couldn't see how the day could get worse.

((OOC: I'm tired, it's past midnight, I'll edit it tomorrow. But I think you guys get the main gist of it.))

Upon hearing her name, her head instinctively snapped in the direction the voice had called from; apparently, just half a moment too late as the only sign of life was the wild swinging and kicking of shuffling feet and muffled grunts coming from the adjacent room. No longer concerned with the odd boy who had willingly dismissed himself and scurried off to find something to clean the stains off of the carpet, or something trivial as such, she redirected her attention to the unnamed voice that had called out to her.

Turning on her heel, she rounded the corner and caught sight of the clumsy brawl on the couch, seemingly dominated by the bulky, greasy-haired individual more concerned with beating the pulp out of the person crushed under his weight than the confused Cubone looking for an opening to attack from.
Without having to utter a word to her, Belle noticed the sudden blur of amber fur that streaked across the length of the room with incredible speed, slamming into the ground-type with such force that drove it into the rear wall that the plaster buckled under the force, a web of cracks and splits developing around the site of impact.
Wincing at the damage to the house itself, she shrugged it off and turned her attention back to the fumbling wrestle on the sofa. Creeping closer, and keeping a wary eye on where the grease-head focused his attention, she felt her arms and chest tense when the face of his victim became visible. The familiar crimson eyes and light silvery hair were as much of a blurred motion as the hulking villain himself, but the telltale qualities made for easy identification.
Fueled by rage, she seized hold of the stranger's shirt and hauled him off of the smaller man, drawing his face close to hers before hesitating a moment and burning her gaze into the brute's startled grey eyes. Without a word, she drew her head away from his before snapping forwards again, bashing her forehead against the soft cartilage of his thick nose. Stunned by the sudden onslaught and infuriated by the audacious assault from the woman, he ignored the spontaneous flow of blood gushing down his neck and chest and swung angrily with clenched fists, catching her in the soft curve between her hips and ribcage. Grunting, she buckled unwillingly at the force and clenched her teeth to keep herself from crying out, but kicked out instinctively at the soft, unprotected flesh behind his knee and bringing him crashing into the ground as she fumbled and caught herself on her hands and knees.

Around the corner of the sofa, Rusty's unrelenting beatings made up for the disadvantage of their typings, even as they inched further away from the wall and back out into the open. For a brief moment, the two girls made eye contact as if to ensure one another that the situation was perfectly under control before turning their attention back to their respective opponents.
