"Wait, a minute, a fight! I'm up for that," Gage exclaimed as he entered the Mansion. June rolled her eyes.

"Kid, this isn't your fight, so shut up. You just fell from the sky anyways," she said shaking her head. But it was useless as the boy had already left. She shrugged and walked in beside Tim. "Quickdraw is sure he can figure out what happened at the old base. He's tinkering right now in the cameras he recovered. Any idea on what went down?"


Gage ran ahead towards the battling. "Inferno Raiper!" He shouted as he pumped his legs furiously to get to the fight. In his outstretched right hand, a rapier made of a red metal, and that seemed to be bursting with flames, appeared in his hand. When the weapon was fully formed, his speed increased as he rushed ahead. Then he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Ryuki and Zane. "Hey, you're the bozos who attacked me earlier!" He called out, clenching his weapon tighter.

Ryuki turn as he heard Gage voice "hey Gage-boy ,i see that you didnt die from that fall" he said before he pull out a new card from his deck "you know your not the only dragon around here" he said.

Zane jumped out of the way of the black flamed and watched as it consumed one his clones. "Smart." Zane said before they were interrupted by Gage. Zane rolled his eyes. "How many more of you are coming?" Zane asked.

 

[Rhabby]

A crossbow appeared in the body's arm and from within it Alex drew it back and shot three arrows covered in black flames at incredible speed at Zane, "You're not getting away pal!" Alex yelled from within the red, firey aura. Streaks of blood were on Alex's face from his eyes.

Ryuki ran over to Zane before he stop when he was right next to Zane "let's beat them already Bud" he said as. Ryuki place the new card into his Visor "Freeze Vent" Ryuki called out as he blizzard appear from his Visor and Ryuki sent it straight at the others.

 

[Ry_Burst]

"In my defense I have no idea, who any of you are. But you two kinda don't like me, so you're going down." Gage said, shifting the weight of his sword down and charging. He ran along towards the Blizzard, before leaping over it, and pointing his sword towards Rykui, as he charged downward.

Ryuki look up to face Gage and fire the Blizzard straight at him "just die "Gage-Boy" he called out while he started to pull out a card.

 

[Retro Master]

Three of Zane's clones jumped in the way of the arrows and were burned alive. Zane used this opportunity to jump above Alex. "If you're not going to come to me, then I'll have to come to you!" Zane exclaimed before slashing down towards Alex. As he went down, he passed through Alex's ultimate defense as Alex was in the sword's three meter range, canceling out his ability.

 

[Light MaskMan]

Ryuki then slid the card into the Visor before dozen of copies of Ryuki appear behind him "Trick Vent, nice right" he said before all the Ryuki's jump into the air and did a Dragon Ball.

 

[Jagson]

Josh just walked those people walk away. " Not even a thank you." He shouted at them as he walked the opposite direction. He let out a breath and continued to walk away. He stopped as he felt a crackle in the air. He jumped out of the way as lightning destroyed the area infront of him. He looked and blinked at the man he saw.
"Brandon?" he asked.
:" Who the fuck is Brandon." Syler said. " Didn't I already kill you?"

Jon walked back to the cave and let out a breath. He walked in and sat at one end of the cave. He smiled at those two as he got adjusted. " anything you need me to do?"

Alex looked up as Zane was above him, he had no idea what to do. Let me help. A voice from within his own mind said, Alex was confused about this, but all the sudden a force came from his body and repealed everything within eight meters from him. What was that? Alex thought to himself as he watched everything within that radius being blown away.

 

[Retro Master]

Zane was suprised when he was suddenly thrown big by a powerful force coming from Alex. "What was that?!" Zane asked as he did a back flip mid air and landed on his feet. 'This must be something new.' Zane thought to himself as he analyzed Alex. The only reason that this new power wasn't suppress led was because the sword recognized it yet. Now if he got back in range, Alex wouldn't be able to use it. Zane decided to test the limit of Alex's power. One of his clones appeared behind Alex and put it's sword around his neck. If there was a limit, then Alex wouldn't be able to do it again for another few seconds which gave Zane the chance put Alex back in his radius. Zane then ran towards Alex.

Now, let the flames consume your body. Do not worry, they are apart of you living essence so it will not be suppressed. The voice said. Alex nodded and yelled out, black flames erupted around Alex, burning the clone behind him to a pile of ash. Alex then turned to the Zane rushing him, he yelled out and ran directly at him, ready to punch him with his fist which was covered in black flames.

 

[Grand Master Koop]

Alex was sitting on the branch of a tree with a wooden puppet wearing a gas mask with a cannon mouth beside her. "Seem like the other Alex has things covered. I'm quite exited to see what happens." She said.

 

[Retro Master]

Zane smirked as he saw Alex charge at him with the black flames around him. No matter what power it was, even if you were born with it or if it is a part of your soul, unless it was against a god like Chaos or a being as powerful as Jack, the power would be nullified. Zane continued running towards Alex. Once Alex was within three meters, the black flames around him vanished. Zane blocked the punch with one hand and kneed Alex directly in the chest. With that, Zane got ready to slice Alex. "Watch out!" Dillon yelled as he sent a bolt of lightning at Zane, causing him to have to jump away.

 

[Jagson]

Josh frowned as he felt his mortality creep up on him from Syler's words. " Most have got the wrong person." He said. With out awnsering Syler stretched his hand out as he fired a barrage of lightning at Josh. Josh quickly stretched his hand out as the lightning went into it creating a ball. Syler looked at it in disbelief. With a quick push foreward Josh fired the lightning back at Syler. Syler was able to doge it moving to the left. Josh went to the right as he threw a knife at the man. Syler blocked the attack and fired the knife back at him. Josh doged before running towards the man. He put his arm around the man. Syler looked at him before picking him up. " What's a matter one arm to much for you." He said before pile driving Josh into the ground. the then pushed him into a tree. " This is you're end." He said.

Gage did a few quick motions to avoid the back to back attacks, and stretched his arms out. "That all you got," he said grinning. The rapier disappeared and Gage grinned. "Wyvern Shield!" A green shield appeared on Gage's left arm, as the boy charged ahead. He did a flip and aimed his shield for a shield bash towards Ryuki's head from above.

Alex jumped back, he glared at Zane, "I don't care who you are, but we will defeat you and anyone else who challenges us. No one can rip us apart, not even the gods of the underworld or wherever the hell you come from." Alex said as he clenched both of his fists, flaps of his clothing blew in the wind.

 

[Retro Master]

Zane took a deep breath as he looked at Alex. "You think God has sent us here to kill you. Well you're wrong. We're here to save you and the rest of our kind." Zane told Alex as he raised his voice. "You once said that you'll protect your friends. Do you not think I was not like you Alex? I wanted to protect my friends but I failed to realize who they needed protection from. Who we need protection from." Zane stated as he clenched his fist. "They seek us out because we are different from them. They think that being different is the same as being dangerous. And being dangerous means you have power. When those pests see power, they will do whatever to get their hands on it. Do you know why the humans come after people like us. They don't want to capture us, they want to use us. They want our power Alex and let me tell you something. If you think they will just stand by and let you and your friends continue to wander around, then you're dead wrong. Right now you may think Jack or even Chaos himself is your greatest enemy, but they're not. It's the humans Alex, they will come for you and your friends. I've seen what they do to our kind. It's horrible." Zane told Alex, taking a breather after his speech.

Alex pondered on Zane's speech for a while, "If you're here to save why try to kill us?" Alex asked as he glared at Zane, "This Chaos guy has seemed to corrupted you. I can see the evil aura seeping from your body." Alex said as he grabbed his sword that just happened to be right next to him, "Now I know why the government despises us, the answer is so obvious.. It's because people like him abuse their power and use it for evil." Alex continued on, he shook his head. The government has always hated us kid, even in my world. The voice said, honestly... I don't blame him, there once was a time I too wanted to destroy every last human. The voice said within Alex's mind.

Rin stopped the blade with his hands, forming an energy blade that severed Jack's wrists. He then jumped back and took a fighting stance. I hope he understands that I'm not using all of my power. Wait, that'll just make him angrier.

 

[Stormursa]

"You could help clean the fish," Gale smiled as she motioned to the pile. She hummed as she thought when she realized that there were no knives. She patted rosa on the head and stood up, "in going to go for a quick flight".

She transformed outside and took off into the sky. Rosa looked at Jonathin before she picked up the fish and summoned shadows to clean them.

 

[Jagson]

He watched as her shadows cleaned the fish. He let out a sigh. ' You worthless pile of shit.' He said to himself as he leaned back. ' They might still be alive if you didn't abandon them.

Syler looked at the man. He was limping away. " What's a matter one arm you can't deal with me." He said as he pulled Joshua towards him. He proceeded to hit him repeatedly. His hand became an energy blade. He swung it at a diagonal angle. Joshua closed his eyes as he readied himself for his end. Syler stopped as a portal opened up. " What the." A mutant standing at seven feet walked out. One of it's arms was like that of a blade. It's skin smelled vile. It's face barley looked human.
Joshua tried to run away to regain his strength. "Run." He said to Syler.

 

[Stormursa]

Rosa laid the fish down beside Jonathin anffmummblin gave him a happy smile before she flopped onto her side and rolled onto her bed of dry moss. She curled up as she summoned shadows to blanket her.

Gale poked her head into the den and nudged Jon with a rumble. She motioned toward the entrance before disappearing back outside. She spread her wings to ready herself.

 

[Retro Master]

"Like I said before, I didn't come here to kill you." Zane said as he watched Alex pick up the sword. "Their is an important battle going on. That monster, Jack, has great power. Chaos wants to use that power and your is nothing but a worthy sacrifice." Zane told Alex. "I don't think you understand how the real world is Alex. When I was your age, I had to learn the hard way. Everyone has a little hatred inside them, even you Alex. I can see it those eyes of yours. That hatred is created by fear, but also love. Unlike regular humans, us metas are able to gain unique abilities through that hatred. Tell me Alex, how did you get your powers?" Zane asked Alex. Dillon had also been listening to their conversation. He also wondered how Alex got his powers.

Joel got up from under the rubble of a destroyed prison. Well, it's about time. He dusted himself off and looked around. I;m getting out of here. He summoned a stone slab and hopped onto it. He sped off as the slab carved through the earth, propelling Joel forward. Suddenly, he heard the clashing of swords. He got off the slab and investigated the scene behind some bushes, able to make out some words. Chaos? Metas? Hatred? What the hell?

Alex grit his teeth at Zane's question, Go ahead kid, tell him. I too activated my basically the same way you did. The voice said within his head. Alex nodded, "My mother was killed before my very eyes. Her blood was on their hands and they were laughing. Next I knew it their blood was on my hands." Alex said as he began having flashbacks of that very day. The fiery aura exploded around Alex again, it seemed to be an even darker red than before.

 

[Jagson]

Jon felt the nudge and walked out he looked at bird before getting on her. " So where are we going?" He asked.

Joel was taken aback by the invisible but incredibly powerful energy that was emanating from one of the people. What is that power? Is that how he really feels?

 

[Stormursa]

She rumbled in amusement before taking off. Her wings stretching out to keep them floating. She soared over the forest and over the old base at a low altitude. Her feathers keeping their flight silent.

 

[Light MaskMan]

Ryuki quickly grab the shield before it hit his head "that's it time to die" he called out before he threw the shield away and tryed to stab Gage in the eye.

 

[Retro Master]

Zane actually felt a bit sorry for the kid, but he didn't show any emotions. "And that Alex... That is what they want. They see that anger, that pain, and they want it for their own selfish reasons. To them, we're a completely species. Why do you think they wanted to cast us out of society? So other humans won't have to see us. They don't want their offspring to see us as people just like them. They don't want them to know that we the same problems and emotions. They just want us to be seen as monsters needing to be taken out. They want to use as tools for their own purposes. Do you think they care about what happened to your mother? When they asked how you got your powers and you told them about your mother. When they were finished with you, they probably had a good beer and laughed about it. Think about it Alex. They're probably a hundred more like us with the same story, but they're not as lucky as us. The ones who couldn't escape. Do you think they stayed in their cell their entire lives? I want you to guess what happened to those unfortunate enough to be stuck." Zane told Alex as he looked at the boy. "I know you see it Alex. Those eyes can see in the darkness. They know what will happen if we continue to just stand by. And you know what Alex, I think you know too."

Dillon had been listening to their conversation. "Th-those bastards!" Dillon exclaimed with rage. He clenched his fists as he imagined other metas, just like them, suffering, being tortured, experimented on, and even worse which caused to Dillon close his eyes and take deep breaths. As he tempers rose, so did the electricity around him. Instead of electricity, it was down turning into a thick black aura. However, Dillon managed to calm down, but he looked at Alex's aura around him which caused him to step back as he saw it's power.

 

[N E G A N]

Jack looked at his wrists. Unharmed. He was already getting sick of this kids antics to remain alive. This battle was rather boring to jack, as he'd expected more from the kid, not these frantic attempts at a strife. Jack could just decapitate him, but where's any fun in ending the battle like that? Jack narrowed his eyes at Rin, glaring at him. Maybe this next move could be a little entertaining. Jack opened his mouth, and a thick green gas was released, surrounding Jack, and nearing Rin. Pure, deadly radiation. Rin would get poisoned immediately if he were to even touch the thick fog. Every type of cancer, deformation, and loss of cells as the radiation killed them. Rin would suffocate on the gas, and die. There was literally no way for him to be near the gas without being seriously or fatally harmed in some way. He figured Rin would try to blow it away, so Jack had already set a Counter for that, and every other move Rin could make.

[Ry_Burst]

By throwing the shield, Rykui had unknowingly pushed Gage out of the way of his next attack, due to the weapon being connected to Gage. Gage landed foot first and skidded in the dust. Once again he charged but this time, aimed a leg sweep at Ryuki's legs and throwing his fist which had the shield connected by the wrist, at Ryuki's head. No matter which way he went, he would take a serious blow.

Rin studied the gas. Hm. I probably won't be able to survive this one. He smiled and nodded to Jack. "Good match. Maybe we'll fight again. Toodle-loo." He turned and sped back into the forest toward Dillon and Alex, landing a hard punch to the back of Zane's neck.

 

[Light MaskMan]

Ryuki took the hit to his head that sent him flying into a tree "Now" he called out as he use his feet to push off the tree and perform a Drill attack that was aim at Gage heart. "But just in case" he thought Ryuki then activate thr Freeze Vent that froze Gage in his tracks to stop him from dogeing.

Zane's words tug heavily at Alex's heart, he knew he was right but he didn't want to go down that path of darkness. Alex was then put into a flashback...
Ha, stupid women. She should have never came out of hiding. What a freak. The two men said together, blood was all over their hands. A little Alex cried in the corner, Mommy, why? Why would you let them kill you? Alex sobbed with his hands one his eyes Well, well, well. What do we have here? One of the men asked, Looks like we have a little freak. The other said, they both smirked and slowly approached Alex, weapons in hand. NO! The little Alex screamed and the men hit the floor dead.
Alex awoke, "I will take my revenge, they killed my mother." Alex muttered, his eyes grew even darker as they responded to his emotions of hatred and anger. Oh come on kid. The voice in Alex's head said, Don't give in that easily. The fight has only just began. It said, Alex opened his eyes and found himself within a room full of light, a man who looked very similar to him, but older stood in front of him with a smirk. "Looks like you finally made it into your own subconscious mind, welcome. The name is Matt." Matt said with a smirk.

 

[Ry_Burst]

The ice around Gage melted almost as soon as it appeared. Just one of the perks of having his abilities active. His body was superheated, which could come in handy. He, again, shifted his weight forward and used Ryuki's momentum against him so he could effortlessly dodge the attack and allow Ryuki to fall to the ground.

"This guys is easy, but I need to finish this soon. I'll tire myself out. Time to upgrade." Gage thought as he stepped back and flexed his arms allowing his Wyvern Shield to disappear. "Okay, let's go Draco Equip!" He shouted as his calves and wrists began to glow. Soon he was wearing golden armor around the once glowing region, and in his hand, was a magnificent golden Broadsword. The blade burst into flames with an intense heat, as he began to swing the blade around.

 

[Retro Master]

Zane was about to respond to Alex's sudden commitment to revenge when he was suddenly punched in the back of his neck. "What the hell?!" Zane exclaimed as he fell to the floor. He turned around to see Rin standing above. "So Jack couldn't finish the job." Zane said as he got up. "How did you do it? How'd you survive against that monster?" Zane asked Rin, a bit curious.

Rin shrugged. "He's still back there." He nodded to Dillon and Alex. "You guys okay?" He was still in his white hooded tunic and his aura was spiked at abnormally high levels.
