"I don't think so!" Lex said as the spider flipped over right before Zane's blade hit and trapped it. "Cocoon Wed!" Lex shouted as the spider puppet shot a think wed from its butt and quickly wrapped around Zane. She then swung her arm and the spider jumped onto the cocoon and sunk its legs into it.

Zane laughed as he was put into the cacoon. "Well it was worth a try." The clone of Zane said before it was engulfed. A group of military agents in masks stormed the area, however they were unarmed. They were the recovery unit. They stopped in fear of Alex who was over the president. "Please, can you please let us take him?"one of the agents asked Lex, hoping the meta would allow them too take the president.
Joel looked over the battlefield and drew in a sharp breath. "Oh my God," He breathed. Then, his gaze hardened, and he dropped down, summoning the earth to catch him and formed a suit of armor made from the ground and ran into the fray, beating down the skeletons with his hands and feet, fighting side by side with June.
Lex sighed. "You're the recovery squad right? Your president needs help quick." She said as her spider puppet picked the president up and brought him closer to the military. "Get him out of here, it's not safe."
"Yes we are." One of the agents told Lex. The other two grabbed the president before quickly hurrying off. "Thank you very much. We will make sure people hear about what you have done." The agent told Lex before running after the others.
Gage, had already joined the fight, with his Draco Knucles formed around his fists as he batted at skeletons. Behind him, he left a wake of dust, belonging to the skeletons he had vanquished. He, unknowingly, was only 17 feet away from June and Joel. Just across the remains of a building.
Quickdraw looked up to see Jack floating there. The battle was immanent, and everyone seemed to know this.
June cmtnued to mow down Skeletons. They were quiet easy to kill, but there was still a multitude of them. Every time she killed one, another stepped up to take its place. At least she has Jel, giving her a hand.

Lex smiled at them before holding her arm and groaning. "The White House fall really did a number on me."she said before passing out. Tim landed on the ground near Lex and looked at Jack. "That bastard." He said.
Dillon crawled out of the rubble, with blood all over his body. "Where are you Alex?!" Dillon asked aloud, hoping Akex could hear him. He hoped his friend hadn't died. Alex's body should be nearby as they were only standing a few feet away from each other before Jack arrived.
Joel looked back at June and flashed her an encouraging smile. "I got your back, now let's go!" He ripped out the head of a skeleton, then threw it to shatter another.
Alex stood a few feet away from Dillon, he was surrounded what looked like a red ribcage. Alex was uninjured, he then turned to see Dillon looking around, "Dillon, over here!" Alex called out as he stood within it, "Man, what the hell happened?" Alex looked around, the scene was horrific. Alex then looked at his feet to see a trembling man in a suit, "T-T-Thank you." The man said in a scared voice, he then got up and ran out of the red aura as he tried to get his phone out.
"I think that guy just destroyed the White House." Dillon told Alex as he managed to walk over to him. "You should've shielded me as well." Dillon said as saw the red aura around Alex. "It looks everyone is eithe dead or is fighting that guy." Dillon stated.
The aura around Alex dissipated, "Sorry, it was just so sudden and you got blown away I barely activated it in time. At least I save that guy." Alex said, motioning to the dude who was running away, "We should try to regroup with Lex, I think I sense her and Tim over there." Alex said pointing toward their direction, "Let's hurry!" Alex exclaimed as he began to run over to them, he helped Dillon run as well, considering he didn't look to good..
Rin nodded. "Alright, then. What's the plan? Should we storm him all at once? Or use a distraction to hit him when he's not expecting it?"
"I don't usually play well with others. Do whatever you see fit." Dirk replied before disappearing.

Rin sighed. "Alright, then." He leapt into the air and shot a blast of energy directly at Jack's chest and swung an aura-spiked fist at his right temple with enough power to shatter a mountain. A sonic boom cut through the air as Rin's hand made contact.
Rin nodded. "Copy that." He grabbed Dave's arm and grunted as he threw Dave straight at Jack, using aura to extend his momentum. He's gotten a lot stronger. We might not be able to take him on.
While Jack was distracted by Dirk, Dave was successful in impaling Jack from behind. Jack roared at the blade extending from his chest. Dirk took this opportunity to shove his own sword straight through Jack's left eye, going through his head until the back of his skull stopped it. Jack twitched, and began convulsing and lashing out, impaling Dave through the chest with his blade arm.
Dave grunted out in pain, and let go, falling to the ground, passing out from shock as blood began to pool around him.

"We need to get to the others," June said smashing a skeleton. Then she saw Dave, get stabbed.

Alex closed his eyes and breathed in quickly, the tattoo glowed and could be seen through his shirt. Alex let out all the energy a huge beam of black flames erupted from his mouth a mowed down several waves skeletons. "Haha, that should teach em'!" Alex exclaimed, Alex then turned to his right because he noticed something was off... Alex squinted and was able to see Dave being stabbed, "Dillon, we have to help Dave now!" Alex yelled, his eye glowed a deep red as they responded to his emotions of anger.
Rin caught Dave in the air and set him down slowly. He then dissipated his tunic and took off his shirt, wrapping it around Dave's chest to staunch the bleeding. He got up and launched himself toward Jack, filled with a new sense of rage. He thinks it's over already.
Joel caught up with June. "Who... What is he?" He asked, dumbstruck at the beasts grotesque figure.

Rin smirked darkly, as he had expected this to happen. He closed his eyes and unleashed his ability, obtained through his life energy: Snakes Awaken. His arms whipped out, blurring as they became hard enough to cut cleanly through boulders and made multiple slashes in Jack's arm as gore flew out. Rin kept cutting through until what used to be his arm was scattered in bits of bloody flesh on the ground.
As RIn attempted his maneuver on Jack, Dirk did the same with his Katana on Jack's back. Jack however, healed fast enough to barely even be hurt by these attacks. Ignoring Dirk, Jack grabbed Rin by the head and brought it down with lightning speed, smashing his knee into Rin's face before leaping into the air and firing a jolt of electricity at the both of them.

Rin blocked the knee and severed it from the thigh with his arms, jumping back and landing on the ground only to leap back up again for his next attack. I know he might kill me eventually, but damn, I'm enjoying this!
Rin blurred past Jack's outstretched arms and shattered his rib with a crushing punch, made even stronger from his aura. He then dropkicked him, pile driving him into the ground, causing a small earthquake in the process.
Dillon watched the fight from the background, hiding behind some rubble. He wanted to stop Alex from going but he knew he was to weak to do so. "Damn it!" Dillon exclaimed as he punched the ground. He was useless and he couldn't help the others in their fight against Jack. "Why am I so weak?" Dillon asked himself as he looked at his bloody palm. Deep inside, Dillon knew that he hadn't even come close to awakening his true power. And now because of that, Rin and the others might die. "Curse it all." Dillon said to himself as he continued to watch the battle.
Alex was looked back at Dillon, he wanted to make sure he was in a safe position as he was unable to battle, "Alright, time to assist everyone else." Alex said to himself. Alex didn't take one step before he heard a familiar voice in his subconscious mind, "Don't go, you will die if you face Jack." Matt said to Alex, a chill ran down his spin, "Stay with Dillon, you guys need to stick together or either of you could die." And with that Matt's voice faded. Alex shook his head, "I'm sorry I can't help with that jerk." Alex said as he turned around and ran back to Dillon. Alex walked over to Dillon, "Can you walk? We need to find any survives and regroup with Tim." Alex said to Dillon.
Jack foresaw Rin's counter, and instead of allowing his arms to be outstretched, they plunged forward into Rin as he made contact with Jack's ribs, which didn't shatter, as they were unbreakable. This happened in the blink of an eye. Dirk returned to the fight, slashing forward at Jack, who disappeared and reappeared above the both of them.
Just as Dirk looked up, Jack shot a beam of white energy from his mouth and Dirk couldn't react in time.
The beam tore through Dirk's middle, leaving a hole in his chest. He dropped the katana and fell to his knees, then onto his stomach.

Dillon stood up and looked at Alex. "Yeah I can walk, but I don't know if we'll be able to find anymore survivors." Dillon said before watching as Dirk was killed. "Dirk, he's dead!" Dillon pointed out as he watched Dirk's body fall to the ground. That's when Dillon realized that if they didn't leave the area, they would die. "Alex, I think we should get out of her while we still have a chance." Dillon told Alex.
Alex's eyes glistened as he watched Dirk fall to the ground, he didn't know him well but he was still an outcast like him. "Yeah, you're right." Alex said quietly, "But how do we get out of here? The place is a mess." Alex asked looking around the horrific scene of bodies and rubble everywhere.
Rin ducked with a soft grunt and shot both feet into Jack's groin. He landed on the ground and looked solemnly at Dirk. "You fought well. Rest easy." He then looked up and shot into Jack's chest, grabbing his neck and threw him down into the ground.
Jack didn't allow Rin to gain any type of advantage. Rin's attacks didn't seem to do anything, but... this power... Dirk's power was now surging through Jack.
Time to end this fiasco.

Rin used threads of aura to reattach all of his severed limbs and got into a fighting stance. He formed blades with his aura and impaled Jack's jugular, then aiming his other blade through Jack's chest.
Jack's body vibrated heavily as the attacks went through him, and he then appeared behind Rin, grabbing both arms, and bringing his foot up to Rin's back. Before Rin could even PROCESS this, Jack pushed down with his foot and up with his arms, ripping off Rin's reattached limbs. Before Rin could even REGISTER what had occurred, Jack began to mercilessly beat Rin with his own arms.
James stumbled forward, clutching his side. He was covered in blood and barely conscious. He'd die whether he failed or succeeded. This was a last ditch effort, but Jack and Rin remained far away. James shook his head to empty it. He had one goal.

Rin winced in disgust. "Okay, this fight was actually going somewhere, and you had to ruin it for all of us by hitting me with my bloodied arms. Wow. Wow." He launched forward and kicked Jack in the temple with bone shattering force.

"Just keep walking the other way." Dillon said as he stepped over some bodies. "Just go anywhere except in the direction of the battle. Now come on, let's go! Judging from the way things are going, I don't know how much longer they can hold him off." Dillon stated as he walked ahead.
