"Damnit." Alex said from the top of Skyfort as he was blown back by a shockwave, he shouted as he was almost blown off the side of the Skyfort. His mind raced at lightning speed as he pulled out a sword and stabbed it into the side of the ship, sparks flew everywhere as he slid, but he had finally stopped next to a window, "Phew, that was close." Alex said, he felt bad for who he had almost stabbed on the inside with the sword. Alex then knocked on the window, "Please let me in before this thing shakes." Alex said as he desperately held onto the sword.

Netero ran up to the robotic arm and clung to it as he was lifted into the air.

Joel heard a large rumbling and woke up, looking through the window. "There's Skyfort! The battle must be over." He walked over to June and gently woke June. "Skyfort's here. It's time to go."

Quickdraw scooped up the unconscious Gage as he was lifted by the claw. He landed on the ship, and set Gage down. "someone get a bed for this guy," he barked, before walking towards towards the cockpit.

June nodded, and stood up. "Okay, lead the way," she said.

Joel smiled and took her hand as he ran out of the house and looked up to see the floating Skyfort. He formed a small stone slab and got on it, gesturing for June to do the same. "You might want to hold on tight."

Netero took Gage and slung him over his shoulder. "I'll take him from here," He murmured and took him to a vacant bedroom, laying him down gently.

She stepped up onto the stone and wrapped her arms around Joel's waist. "For safety," she said to him giving a nod.

Quickdraw walked beside the consol, and grabbed the controls and began to steer the ship. "I'll have this," he said sternly.

Joel nodded and wrapped one arm around June as well. "You might feel a bit of a sharp jolt at first, but then the rest of the ride will be really smooth. You ready? Let's go!" The slab suddenly burst upward as Joel formed a tower that elevated the two toward the Skyfort.

Netero quietly knelt down over Rin's body. "Why was it you?"

"I've had a hell of a day, and I want to fly my ship to relax. I'm flying." Quickdraw responded, equally as stern.

June walked off the slab as they landed in the cargo hold. She walked toward the main area, and said, "I'm going to check up on everyone."

Joel nodded. "I'll come with you. I don't think I've had a chance to meet everyone."

Netero sighed as he got up and walked toward Quickdraw. "Where are we going? I'd like to forget this mess as soon as possible."

"Finally, it's over." Dillon stated as he sat on the floor. He got up to go to the window to see the destruction outside only to see Alex knocking on it. Apparently he wanted to come in but Dillon didn't know how to let him in or even where an entrance would be. "Can someone let Alex in?!" Dillon asked aloud, hoping someone knew how.

"Honestly, I have no idea. I guess we should review how bad the damage is at the base, and grab what we can. We can't stay, we need to probably head to one of the safe houses." Quickdraw said wearily. Then as Dillion, gave a shout, Quickdraw pressed a button, that opened the window, and let Alex tumble inside, before closing it again.

June walked into the cockpit, and said, "This is Joel." She seemed tired, but everyone else was too at this point.

Joel waved weakly. "Hi... I'm gonna sleep now." He patted June's shoulder and smiled before going to a vacant bedroom. "See ya, June." He changed into a blue tee and athletic shorts and flopped onto the bed, snoring quietly.

Netero nodded and sighed again. "We need to give Rin a burial as well." He glanced at the body. "I'm really gonna miss him."

Alex sighed as he continued to hang on to the sword on the side of the ship, "Man, it's starting to get cold." Alex said, he then looked down and gulped, "Man, that's a far drop." Alex said nervously. He then let out a sigh as the window opened, Alex put his feet in the window and managed to crawl in, "Man, I thought I was gonna die." Alex said as he feel onto the floor.

"Yeah, a proper burial is something we should do. Where do you want to do it? You were his best friend." Quickdraw said quietly. There was a thick fog, as they flew. He was having them stick close to clouds, to avoid being seen.

"See ya," June said, before turning to stare out the main window. Things had been bad. She, in a sense, was lost.

Chaos scratched his chin, and looked at Ryker, who was knelt before him. The boy had disobeyed him, but trying to recruit his friend, but then gave up. This boy was the key for him being here. If this boy died, before he was fully powered up, he would fade. The entire attack had gone as planned. Jack would die, but by dying, cause enough damage, to make it impossible for the world governments to side with the Metas. Soon the Outcasts would be wiped out, and then he would make his move.

Netero shrugged. "Let's go to my old school. It was the place he truly felt at home. Set course for Tokyo, Japan." He sighed and patted Quickdraw on the shoulder. "From your perspective, what was he like?"

"A solid loyal friend," Quickdraw said, changing the direction of the ship. "Somethings can't be described and who Rin was, was one of those things. Rin is best described through his actions." He said calmly.

Netero nodded. "He must have been a great friend then, considering what he did. For all our sakes." He looked solemnly at Rin one last time and headed to his bedroom. "See you later, Quickdraw."

Sam watched as Netero left then turned towards QuickDraw. "Do you even know where this school is? He only told you to set course for Japan." Sam then thought about the ship's condition. "Also can we really make the trip with a damaged ship? We should at least fix that smoking propellor." She said remembering that one of the propellor was damaged.

"Actually, I needed to go to Japan anyways. I have an old friend who can give us a hand, in fixing this thing up. We should be able to make it, if we coast it. And plus, my old friend currently lives outside of Tokyo so he should know about this academy." Quickdraw said clicking a few buttons on the navigator.

As it started to get dark as night started to come, the area around where the White House once was was closed off for over 100 miles. The radiation around the area had started to spread and everything else in that range had also been destroyed by Jack's explosion. The military had a blockade set up around the 100 mile radius.

However, it wasn't the military who were investigating the area. Instead, the one who were investigating had gas masks on and were in all black gear. Some were taking samples while others just scoured the area. The media had also been prevented from going over the barrier.

"What a day it is!" A voice stated aloud near the ruins of the White House. It was Arthur with Zane not too far behind. Arthur was in fact the leader of this operation. "Today has truly been a magnificent day. One where Gods fall and leave their power behind for us mortals to find it." Arthur said as he kneeled down over some blood. It was Jack's blood. They already had gotten samples of Jack's blood earlier but Arthur was still intrigued by it. They also had Dirk and Rin's blood since their blood had also been spilled. However, they hadn't been able to find James' body, but he was confirmed dead due to the footage before the explosion. "Curse James. He kept his secret until the day he died. He must've known what would've happened if I managed to get my hands on..." Arthur didn't get to finish his statement as Zane walked up too him.

"I have the president." Zane told Arthur who smirked at this. Zane remembered from his clones what had happened. When Lex had given the president to the soldiers, one of them was a clone of Zane. The other clone that Alex fought was just a diversion to lower Lex's guard. The clone made it look like it had failed when in reality it made Lex think that, allowing her to carelessly hand over the president. The one clone killed the others once far enough and took the president to a secure location. For all the world knew, he was dead, and it was because of the meta humans.

"I also have other important news for you." An associate said as he walked up too them. "Almost every top ranking member in government was in the White House, which means you have are one of the only high ranking members left. And since you're the only one qualified of handling the meta situation, you're in charge now." Zane stated. Artgur was shocked at first, then grinned at Zane. "Then tell whoever is left in Congess I have a proposal on how to deal with the metas." Arthur told the associate before he walked off. "The beginning of the end for the metas is now here! And I will set it in motion!" Arthur exclaimed, grinning evilly after.

Alex got up and sat next to Dillon, "Man, what a day." Alex said, he then thought for a moment, "I bet there is probably a nuclear fallout in the area Jack exploded." Alex said as he put his hands behind his head. "You know, we should go on a training journey across the world." Alex said, "I feel like I need to get stronger to achieve my goal." Alex continued.

"There's definitely a some type of fallout." Dillon stated. He had thought about this earlier and realized that a being as powerful as Jack would have some type of radiation. And with an explosion of that magnitude, there was definitely some fallout.

Dillon had also thought about his own strength. He caused his weakness. If he was more powerful, he might've been able to fight against Jack, maybe even save Rin. "Yeah, training around the world sounds like a good idea. Maybe we could start at that place where Netero and Rin recieved their training." Dillon stated.

"Well it would be nice, to get some training in, but I'll have to stay with my friend for the duration of our stay there. We haven't seen each other in years. But you others should probably head train." Quickdraw said.

Netero overheard Alex and Dillon conversing on the other side of the hall and entered the room. "Or, I could train you right now, kind of get you started. My school was so intense, you had to be near complete mastery of your energy to even open the gates to the school. It's always unlocked, but people have never opened the gates without the use of energy."

"Sounds like a hell of a time," Quickdraw said as they flew. "So, we'll make a pit stop outside of Toyko, and we'll meet a friend of mine who will give this birdie a tune up, and then you guys can head that way."

"Hmm, your school seems fine, but I kind of want to pull myself up with my own strength and see the world myself, ya' know." Alex said as he sat back, he was really tired, it felt like his whole body hurt especially his eyes. "Anyway, where is this school even located?" Alex asked as he closed his eyes, now that he thought about it, a school wouldn't be half bad.

"The very top of Mount Fuji," Netero said calmly. "About a few hours' hike, nothing abnormal for anyone who can control their energy, so you and Dillon should be fine, right?" He stretched. "Once you get to the top, you then have to open the doors, which weigh 4 tons each, and you can't work together with someone else. The entrance is under surveillance inside the school, so the butlers see to it that the rules are followed. That's why I'm offering to train you guys right now. Are you in or not?"

Alex thought for a moment then smirked, "Yeah, I'm in. How about you Dillon?" Alex asked, he then clenched his fists, he would get stronger. Alex ran his hand through his hair and opened his eyes, "I'm actually glad we're gettin' out of this country, it'll be like a fresh start." Alex said, he was ready to move on from all the pain that this country and it's government has caused him.

"Definitely!" Dillon exclaimed as he stretched his arm. "But I'm going to need that training there's no way I can lift four tons at my current level." Dillon stated. "It's going to be cool being in a diff country. Hopefully they don't think we're lunatics like in the U.S." Dillon said as he looked Netero and Alex.

Netero chuckled. "Alright, then. Come out into the main room." He led them out and opened a window, not even recoiling as the wind slapped his face, tossing his silver hair around. Netero looked down, and timed the jump perfectly. "Let's go!" He shouted, and jumped out, landing on his feet in a clearing in the middle of the forest he immediately recognized as Hinohara. He dialed Quickdraw's number on his phone and pressed call.

"Did he just open that window and jump out?" Dillon asked, unable to believe what Netero just did. He tried walking through the hard gusts of winds coming from the window. Once Dillon was close enough, he looked out the window. He could barely see the bottom. "I guess we have to follow him." Dillon said as he started to climb out the window. Dillon took a deep breath and them jumped out the window.

"Quickdraw, what do yo need, Netero?" Quickdraw asked as he neared his friend's home. They should arrive in a few minutes. He wasn't one to qu strong this special training, and with those guys, training, in a sense, was some kind of therapy. It was understandable, as for him, lifting weights, building, and driving all had the same effect on him.

"Hey, I'm gonna be in Hinohara for a while, so you can just go ahead and meet up with your friend. I'll take care of the other guys. Cool?" Netero flared up his aura to create a signal for Alex and Dillon to follow.

Alex watched the signal flare go by and with no second thought he jumped out the window, as the wind fiercely blew around him he felt at peace for a few moments, he was finally able to get a fresh start. Alex neared Netero quickly, "Umm, how do I stop?" Alex yelled out as he got closer and closer to the ground.

Somebody wearing a Green hoodie and black gloves, jeans and shoes teleported in front of Dillon. His hood hid most of his face. "Hello, freak shows." the teen boy said, he grinned with a smile that would haunt one's dreams. His white teeth seemingly glistened in the moonlight. "So, which one of you is Dillon?" He said politely, his smile disappeared as he said this.

Netero created a light-weight bubble of energy around Alex and safely lowered him to the ground. "There we go." He turned around and saw the man in the green hoodie. "You know, people don't just call strangers freak shows and then ask for someone they know politely. What do you want with Dillon, anyway?"

"Freak shows?! What the..." Dillon stated before he fell into a tree. He managed to break his fall by transforming the energy around him into a barrier of sorts before touching the ground. However, it gave dissipated right before he landed. "Shit man!" Dillon exclaimed as he got up, rubbing some dust off of him before looking at the man in the green hoody. "Yeah, I'm Dillon. What's up?" Dillon greeted casually.

The hooded man held up a bounty with a picture of you on it. It was one billion dollars. "You see. We can play this the nice way, or the hard way." The man said as he summoned an M60 machine gun seemingly out of thin air. "I really don't wanna hurt you, so just put your hands up, and no one gets hurt. My boss doesn't intend to hurt you either. And also, this is the first time I have met you." He explained as he pulled off his hoodie. Name's Xeno, (Pronouced Ze-Know) "I am one of you too, and I guess you can figure out MY powers, can't you?" Xeno said in a grim tone. "I was in the same facility as many other "outcasts", they kept me chained up like a dog. The government wants you back. But if I defy them, I die. They will have their ways, and I'll have mine." He said sadly. "Please, don't make me hurt you." He finished

Netero made a face. "What the hell? Jeez, you're really full of yourself. Look, kid. We don't have time for this. We're busy. Now, we'll be taking our leave. Let's go, guys. Time to head for Mount Fuji."

Dillon chuckled a bit before getting serious. "Let me guess, you're with that Zane guy, aren't you? How much are you getting paid?" Dillon asked. Truthfully, he was proud of the fact that the government decided to put a bounty on him. Maybe they realized he was actually powerful. "Try and touch me with your guns." Dillon told Xeno, taunting him.
