Ask to Join Outcasts

He kept his fists up. He started to hit just as hard as she was. he wasn't going to let up with the attacks. He felt the pain surge through his body but he kept pushing forward

Akron woke to the sound of people sparring. He exited the house to see what it was all about and came across Lyric and James sparring to practice. He sat down on a nearby log and called, "Mind if I join? I'll go against the winner."

Lyric back up, falling into a defensive position, arms close to protect from shots. She moved her feet to a stable place and nodded her head, "sure Akron! I don't mind".
Miridia stepped out of the house and pulled Lyric away from the match, "you are done for the day. I'm gonna check everything and you are gonna rest".
The two woman argued for a bit before Lyric gave up and marched back into the house.

"Guess I won." james yelled back at Lyric. "Maybe next time Amazon." He smiled a little bit. He turned his attention to Akron. "Come at me Rock boy."

Miridia watched them before following Lyric to help her with cleaning the stitches on the back of her neck. She apologized for her words in their argument and cast a spell to take the stitches out. Two scars took their place as Lyric thanked her, the two talking about different things.

" Tonight." James said as he painted a little bit. " at sunset you and me spar. deal." He said to Akron.
Julian shook his head as he listened to what was going on.

Faela had turned back to her human form. She walked toward their place and stepped on one of the trip wires. She didn't move when she did and folded her arms, waiting to see who made it to her first.

Julian pointed his riffle at Faela. " Don't take another step." He said from his look out. " Go back to your master maid and you won't be harmed."

Faela looked up at him and tilted her head. She had retained her memories like Middie and crossed her arms. A smal smile made it onto her face, "if I cannot take another step then how should I go back to her? I cannot teleport like my mistress".

Julian let out a breath as he looked at the maid. "If you take a step forward I will shoot." He said. " Don't think I would miss." He examined her. She was beautiful by any means of the word.

"But we must all take a forward. If I am to return, I must turn then take a step forward. Unless you want me to walk backwards? Doing so in a dress such as mine is quite hard so I don't think I can do that," she was teasing him, looking unflinching at his weapon. She dusted her skirt off and folded her arms behind her back, "also. Yelling at someone is a good way to give away your position! What if I had been with others"?

"They would of been shot down already." Julian said his voice showed how agrovated he was with this woman. " Just leave." he said. " I don't care how just leave." He said. He had her in his sights. His finger slowly moved around the trigger. " You have till ten before I take my shot." He said. "One...Two..." He counted.

"Fine fine," Faela giggled. She turned and started back on her way. She looked over her shoulder at him, "the mistress is very upset with you. Tore apart the grounds in her search. It's actually quite amusing to see her like that so keep it up".
She then picked up the front of her skirts and started back to the little place she had nested in the mountains.

"She had five dimensions under her control before she started the integration of ones like yours. Why do you think I work for her," Faela had heard him and stopped her pace. She looked over her shoulder and straightened her posture. She sighed and turned fully to look at him, "her origin dimension was not mine but I've seen what she is willing to do to keep people under her thumb".

"Did I not warn you about where to place your fire? I am on your side," she made her way back over, the skirt of her dress lifted enough so that it didn't drag on the ground. She made it to the camp and looked around. Miridia made her way over to the maid when she saw her.

Julian lowered his gun and left his stand. He walked up to Faela. He couldn't help but smile at her. Was he falling for her. He barely knows her. He stood beside Miridia.

James was sweating. "no....no." he said as he slept. " I'm sorry." He said repeatedly. He woke up with sweat dripping down his face. "What's with these dreams." He said.

Lyric laid back in the kitchen. She was trying to figure out what they need in supplies. The spoiled food would be displaced and supplies would be needed. She thought about making other bunkers in other places or to reach out to the forces of the government to help defend against Middie as it was their world just as much as it was the outcasts.
Miridia pulled Faela into a hug and the two whispered in the maid's mother tongue. The witch pulled away and smirked, "she finally sent you out? That's a surprise".
"A good one for you. She knows that he is here and trusts that I will bring his heart back".

"Well." Julian said. He gulped a little bit. "It's good to see that I'm needed." He looked at Faela and smiled. "Your not going to tear my heart out are you?" he asked.

"Of course not. That is why I was hoping Miridia was here," Faela looked at him with a shake of her head. The maid then looked to the witch who nodded, "a fake heart? I'm gonna need some blood Julian. I can get you a heart, Faela but you are gonna have to get me another connection into her mana supply".
Faela nodded again and Miridia smiled before the two looked at Julian, "are you ok with letting us have some blood? I'll need it to make a replica of your heart".

Julian shook his head. He took his sword and placed the blade on his hand. " Do you have anything to contain the blood with?" Julian said. he then looked at Faela again. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. The feelings he has. He only had for one other woman. " Faela personal question but are you seeing anyone."

James walked into the kitchen and saw Lyric. "Hey Lyric." He said. " You have a mean left hook amazon."

"Thank," Lyric smiled and leaned back against the table. She ruffled Zacks hair when the boy sat down beside her with his toys. Sabrina sat beside him. Lyric looked back at James, "you're not to bad yourself".

"I am the maid to a very hated person. Not many wish to court me for reasons such as attraction," Faela shook her head with a small laugh at the idea. Miridia nodded and a small jar appeared, floating beside him.

Julian pressed the blade against his hand. He winced a little bit as he felt the pain. He lowered his blade and placed his hand above the jar. His blood slowly dripped into the jar. "Guess that makes sense." He said.

"Thanks." James said. " So you and Akron huh?" He asked as he looked at the children. For some odd reason he seemed connected to the girl.

"Yes," she looked at the kids and kissed bother their heads before standing to walk over to the counter. She pulled out some dried fruit and meat, serving it to the kids after making sure it was ok, "I really should have kept a better eye on the place. Oh if you're wondering, Zack is my boy and my little girl is Sabrina".

Miridia took the jar away when there was enough and teleported into the cabin that was now acting in place of the mansion. Faela took Julian's hand and looked it over, ripping a piece of her sleeve to wrap it around his injury, "there".

"Thank you." Julian said. He looked at her and took a deep breath. "When this is all over and the wicked witch is defeated would you like to go out for a drink?" He asked.

James looked over at the kids and smiled. "It's nice to meet you both." He said. "So." He asked he wanted to get to know her better. " How did you and the future Mr. Lyric hook up?" He asked.

"Are you really interested in knowing that? It sounds like you are jealous," Lyric rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, a playful smile gracing her lips. The kids waved back and she sighed happily, "would you like anything"?

"If I am not dead then I may take you up on that offer," Faela giggled and started to make her way toward the cottage, glancing back at him with curious look.

" I'm fine." He said as he looked at her. "Truthfully I just want to get to know you better. " He said as he looked at her. "For some strange reason it feels like I'm connected with you. weird right?" He said.

Julian decided to fallow her to the cabin. He walked a head of her and opened the door. "Mam he said."

"Thank you," Faela nodded and walked in. She walked to the closest book shelf, skimming through its contents before picking a blue leather back one. She walked over to a chair and sat down, opening it.

"Well we are dealing with inter dimensional witches so I don't find anything really strange anymore," Lyric shrugged and popped a dried berry into her mouth. She chewed on it and took a piece of the jerky to eat.

James took his own piece of jerky and ate it. "I'm sorry." He said. He grabbed Lyric and pulled her close to him. He kissed her. For some strange reason. he thought of a sunset. he broke the kiss and looked at her. " I'm sorry." He said. " Hit me do whatever you want." He said.

Lyri just stood there. She barely knew the man infront of her and he just kissed her. She shook her head and backed up, the image of sitting next to someone by a sunset coming to her but she pushed it away. She turned and started to walk toward her room, "I'm sorry but I'm engaged".

" Well you fucked that up." James said as he mentally kicked himself. He walked out side. He needed some air. He took off is shirt again as he started to run trying to forget about what happened, and forget about these damn images that keep plaguing his mind.

Miridia stepped into the room with the false heart. It was floating and she was keeping its extra blood from dripping onto the floor. Faela stood up and took it into her arms. She let her dress get bloody and nodded, thanking the two for their help before walking outside and towards the coven.

James walked into the Cabin after Faela left. " Was she carrying a heart?" He asked. He then looked at Miridia. "Hey Miridia." He said. "Can I ask you something?" He asked.

"Oh hey. Yeah I'm back now so let's get that memory of yours fixed up," she smiled and stretched, looking at James. Her brain registered the question and she walked over, "ask away and get comfortable, it may be a little painful".

"Truthfully." He said. " I just want to get rid of these images before I cause any more harm." he said. " On a whim I ended up kissing Lyric. I can't let these images cause any more harm." He said. " in one image I'm holding a gun and I swear I'm firing at you. Then burning down your house" He said. "Can you just get rid of them?"

"I'd need to know the source of them and with out your memories that could be harmful to your sanity," she knew the images, the events. She didn't speak of it though, not wanting to send him into a relapse or something worse if he did. She crossed her arms and sighed, happy that he atleast didn't get turned into a jerk, "so let's restore memories first okey"?
