Kat ducked, narrowly avoiding a flying chunk of wood. She looked at her unconscious friend, then back at Dask. "Dask! Try and control yourself! You're going to hurt Ashley!" She shouted to him, cutting herself off from saying 'again!'

Dasken's face contorted, and he gripped his head tightly. He bellowed, and backed into a tree. He curled up into a ball, his head in his hands. His aura dimmed, and turned grey. Kat couldn't feel any heat from it anymore, but Dasken's eyes still glowed orange.

Kat grimaced, then turned back to Ashley. She checked to make sure she was breathing, which she was. Then she checked her friend's pulse, and got a heartbeat. It was steady. Ashley wasn't down for the count yet.

Dasken took short, raspy, panicked breaths. "Help... calm down... quick... before I... lose control..." his eyes flared, and his aura temporarily changed back to orange. A wave of heat hit Kat, and Dasken screamed, switching it back to Grey. "Hurry..." he muttered through gritted teeth.

Kat got up and went over to Dask. She didn't know what to do, but had to think of something. She decided to ask about his powers. "So, what can you do with your powers? Don't show me, just try and explain," She added quickly, not wanting him to blow her to bits in a demonstration of what he could do.

"I... I..." he hissed through his teeth. "I... cannot get hurt........ by explosions....." he screamed again, and continued, "I.... can resist......... heavy...... h-hits..." he took a shaky breath. His eyes' auras started to turn grey. "I.. I can... summon explosive spheres..." he stifled another scream. "I can... slow objects... control their kinetic en... energy..." he took another shaky breath.

Fae sighed and made sure she looked her best as the helicopter landed. She stepped out and was immediately flooded by family friends and others that were attending the party. Paparazzi where trying to see who she had brought with her but she didn't budge. She answered questions as she waited for the two to get out.

Ken got up and walked to Boris. "All right, if you're really coming wearing that then keep face down and newspaper up." He said. Boris nodded and Ken walked outside and was barraged by camera flashes. "Stuff like these make you glad you only have one eye." He said to himself jokingly. Boris walked out after Ken, looking trough holes in the paper.

Fae smiled at him and a path cleared for them to walk through. She put on a show, all pretty smiles and answers that people wanted to here. She moved with a practiced elegance through the crowd until she reached the large manor, the door opening for her and her guests by armed guards.

Ken looked at the guards and leaned back. "Boris, if you drop the disguise you probably will get shot by all these guard here. So be sure to be careful." Ken whispered. Boris nodded. "Da, friend Ken. I be extra careful." They walked into the mansion following Fae.

Fae waited for them on the inside of the manor. She was still smiling and talking to people but waved the m over and shooed away the others with a well placed dismissal. She pointed over to a couple wearing very nice clothes, "that's my parents".

Ken looked at the direction Fae pointed. "Yeah, your dad looks like a terrifying man, no offence." Boris used his telepathy. "Not worry friend Ken, just be extra careful." Ken looked at Boris. "Yeah, thanks."

After searching for Akron, Darcel got too bored and gave up. "I'm just going to get own stones then..." he complained as he bit the tip of his thumb, walking towards a small cave.

"Well he is an owner of a military research company, that does mean he can get his hands on the newest and most advanced weapons," Fae hummed. She moved around people and ignored the ones she knew were bad. She strode over to her parents and her mother pulled her into a hug, "Fae! Is so happy you're safe, you had me and your father worried there for a while. Have you brought anyone new for us to meet"?

Ken walked a few steps and stopped a few steps behind Fae and put his hand behind his back. He turned to Boris. "Remember, face down and advoid eye contact, we don't want so state a commotion. " Boris raised his newspaper a little higher. "Da, friend Ken."

"I have infact brought someone. I brought two infact. This is Boris, my head bodyguard and the is Ken, my um," Fae looked at the boy for help. She smiled sheepishly at him and her eyes flickered between the two duos.

Ken looked at Fae's parents. "I am, umm, a friend." Boris looked a Ken and telepathically said. "But I though you were more..." Ken interrupted Boris with a glare. "Shut up Boris." He whispered.

Fae shook her head gently at the two and her parents both raised eyebrows. She just smiled through it, "don't mind them, they just argue a lot".
"What ever you say dear. So Ken, was it? How did you and my daughter meet," Fae mother smiled and offered her hand to shake. Her father wasn't as nice, keeping his distance and grumbling.

Kat smiled. "That sounds like a pretty cool power," She said, trying to use the calmest voice she had. By the tree, Ashley's eyebrows twitched, barely noticeable to the duo.

Dasken's aura faded after half an hour of him rattling off his abilities, repeatinng certain pieces several times. He refused to uncurl from his ball, though; he felt himself choke up.

Ashley blinked her eyes open slowly. Her head was splitting with pain. She sat up at snail speeds and slapped her hand to her forehead. Kat rushed over. "Ashley!"

Dasken merely cried silent tears, continuing to lean against the tree. He tightened himself, his muscles tensing. He grit his teeth, and tried to hold back any sob that might escape his mouth.

Ken held his hand. "We met in a forest..." He stopped himself. Fae's parents don't know he's powered so it would be weird to say he met her in a forest. Boris noticed Ken's expression and sent a telepathic message. Park, forest park. "Forest park." Ken glance back at Boris and nodde at him. You welcome friend Ken. Boris said telepathically.

"Oh? I know my little fairy likes to go for walks outside. Helps her carry her beautiful voice! It's good to know she met someone with the same likings," fae's mother shook his hand and her father stepped forward, "Mitchell. Don't you dare hurt this boy. He is only her friend it's good for her to have them".
Mitchell flinched when his wife scolded him but back down, still grumbling under his breath.

" I look like a fool." Joshua said as he looked at himself in a mirror. He was wearing a tuxedo. " Why are we doing this?" He asked Sam.
" Well." Sam said " We're catering to some banquet." She said. Joshua looked at her in stuned aww. She had on a black dress and white gloves. " Daddy was employed by them. and he asked if his staff could help.
" And we're all of his staff." Joshua said.
"Yep." Sam said as she picked up a plate of appetizers. "It's easy." She said "Just offer people food and move on." She said.
Joshua let out a breath as he took the plate. He walked up to a group of five people. " May I offer you all some appetizers." He said. He looked up and saw what he believed was a bear in a trench coat standing right in front of him. ' What the hell.' he thought.

Ken laughed awkwardly a little and Boris still held his newspaper in front of his face.

At the pond back in the forest, people took aim at Miridia and Lyric using snipers armed with tranquilizers.

Fae looked over and raised an eyebrow at the man serving them. She waved and accepted what he was serving. She bit into it and hummed at the taste, turning to look at her father, "this is really good".
She looked at josh and tapped her chin, leaning in close, "I believe we have met before? It seems like my thoughts are just floating away".

' of course.' Joshua thought. 'the only reach person you fucking know is here.' He then looked and saw Ken who apparently didn't notice him. 'and Ken's here too just great.' He thought. He then looked at Fae. " Sorry ma'am." He said putting on his best british accent. " You must have me confused with some one else." Joshua said. " Now anyone want an appetizer."

Boris took a appetizer. "I thank you, but how you know Boris is bear? I wearing flawless disguise." Boris asked Josh telepathically. Ken took a appetizer before looking at the waiter, he was to eat it but then realized it was Josh. "What are you doing here Josh?"

Miridia stepped out of the newly formed bath house. Lyric and the witch had down a fare job, looking like a Nordic styled house on the inside and out.

Fae grinned and pulled her parents away to give the outcasts privacy. The richer folk wanting to know where she'd been.

"Hey Josh, I think I heard you left the camp without telling anyone. What gives? If you were going to leave at least tell us." Ken said. Boris ate his appetizer being extra careful not to reveal his face.

" It was for the best." Joshua said. " Besides I think I finally found peace." He said smiling a little bit. He looked at Ken. " Don't tell anyone about this okay. I live in the town near the forest. I found a decent job, and a nice person. Belive me it's a lot easier than trying to live in that fucking bunker with suicidal people and those who are crazy." He then looked at Boris. " So what's with the bear?"

The girls smiled after they had finished their build and sat outside it drinki tea. Lyric smiled and Miridia didn't press about the enotions that were swirling in her head. The witch looked over the bathhouse, sighing happily at their job well done.

"Well I suppose it is much simpler. And this bear's name is Boris, I freed him along with Fae when I went to the lab place to fight Ethan. Well I think you have more appetizers to serve so I'll leave you to it, come on Boris." Ken called Boris to follow him. Boris looked at Josh. "Nice to meet you friend Josh, but keep me being a bear secret." He said as he walked away.

The snipers saw the opportunity when Miridia and Lyric stopped and took a shot aiming for their backs.

Miridia saw Lyric get shot first then felt a quick pain in her back. She fell into her stomach, breath escaping her lungs as she watched the world turn dark. Lyric was in the same predicament, slumped onto her side.
Fae was talking to another wealthy girl. The two discussing this season's fashions.

The men who shot Miridia and Lyric took them to the lab where they tied them down on chairs and put power restrain collar on them. Ethan was sitting on a chair in front of them. "Yes, my brilliant plan is coming into place." He said out loud.

Lyric was the first one of the two to wake up. Her head stung and her vision was blurry. She lifted it and looked around, spotting Ethan, "who are you? And why does my head hurt so much"?

Darcel continued to build his small house, placing the smoothed stones along the outer walls. He stepped back, to admire his craftsmen ship. His eyes lit up as he scanned the small building, he was impressed with how well he did. "Scenery time." he whispered as he began to stroll of into the woods, gathering flowers and seeds.

Ethan got up and walked closer to Lyric. "Well you see dear, I was only after the witch who is currently sitting beside you, but since you were there too I might as well capture you as well." He said sinisterly.
