PINK and UGLY! (A team)

I was in a weird mood on #pokecharms last night and somehow managed to come up with the idea that SOMEONE (not necessarily me) should make a team consisting entirely of ugly pink Pokemon. Mmmm. Tasteful!

Don't get me wrong, I actually love the colour pink (especially hot pink with dark purple or black), but some of the ugliest and most horrible-looking Pokemon seem to have been coloured pink.

So... here's a guide to setting up the PINKEST, UGLIEST team ever.

1) Pick a NORMAL-type Pokemon.
2) Pick a WATER-type Pokemon.
3) Pick a GRASS or BUG-type Pokemon.
4) Pick a VILE SHINY Pokemon. Powerful, but totally wrong-looking in their shiny colour. The kind of shiny you don't want to catch.
5) Pick a Pokemon that GREATLY ANNOYS STELLARWIND. Also included in this would be any of the sickeningly cute pink baby Pokemon, except that I don't mind most of them. Plus Cherrim, although it's only pink in sunny weather, so doesn't count - and I like it anyway .
6) Pick a JUST PLAIN CHEATING Pokemon. Or don't, if you want to use this team in tournaments. Although Sem assures me that you're allowed Moltres under most rules. Though I don't know how you'd get a shiny legendary without a lot of time and a Master Ball.

By the way, there should be 30 Pokemon displayed. If you get blank spaces then most likely Bulbapedia is being broken again. Use the "image reload" feature of your browser (if it has one) to download the rest of the pictures.

Personally, I think the team that would terrify me most is: Lickilicky, Exeggcute, Shiny Weavile, Shiny Magmortar, Shiny Drapion and MILTANK!! But I'd have to look at the horror from behind while training them. Oh gods.

Yeah I picked only from those shown, but off the top of my head I know about 10 pink Pokemon, including shinies.

That was the idea of the columns rather than only a list of the horribly pink Pokemon. If I'd been going solely on looks and not trying to make a balanced team at all, I'd have had to include Lickilicky, Miltank and Snubbull - because they are all hideous! Probably along with a Dustox and a Drapion. So that would be three Normals, a Bug/Poison and a Poison/Dark. Realistically, I'm never going to catch a shiny unless one turns up by chance so I suppose the last horror would have to be Exeggcute or Medicham - certainly not a balanced team!

You'd have two Normals, a Water, a Bug (which I presume you'd evolve to Bug/Steel), a Poison/Dark and an Ice/Dark. Seems like a reasonable spread, especially as several of them can learn Fighting moves.

Shhh, I like Slowking too. It's just the rubber ring that's ugly. I mean, evolved and he hasn't learnt to swim yet?

Pink Magmortar and Moltres really are awful, aren't they? Pink goes so well with red flames! Mmmm! Though I have to admit that I've quite genuinely wanted a pink Wobbuffet for years. I actually like Wobba, and I'd love to see the expression on my opponent's face as I send out not only a Wobbuffet, but a PINK one!

I've always seen Slowking's neck thing more for decoration than anything. Is it actually a rubber ring? After watching the 2nd movie I'm not wholly sure.

Very much agreed on the two fire-types. It's just... so very, very wrong.

As for Wobba, you could take it a step further and send a pink FEMALE Wobba out. Now that'd get some funny looks XD

My Wifi team has a Miltank and Honchkrow, so they're obvious choices for me. I just picked the rest down to whether I could tolerate them or not. I could never have the likes of Magmortar, shiny or not, on my team XD

Looking at them all lined up like that, really does make you wonder what the hell the designers were thinking...

Slowking
Jumpluff--hugs to pieces, it is officially the cutest Pokemon I've ever seen
Swampert--Sure it's ugly, but Swampert pwns
Weavile--Fierce Pokemon...they should not be PINK. But yeah, Weaviles pwn.
Blissey--As far as battling goes, I don't like any of the fourth column, but Blissey is the lesser of the evils.

Shiny Jumpuff...I-I want it :O

Love me some Miltank and took Gastrodon just to be diffrent, dont get me wrong I love slowpoke and its family but hey the slug needs love too

While some of the Pokemon on the list are adorable, I do have to wonder what the creators were smoking when they made some of these Pokemon pink.

also, we should compose a team of yellow pokemon next. fun, fun.

I want to broaden the horizons for those thinking about it XD
I also find personal joy in hunting down pink pokemon ^^;
