Well, this should be interesting. I think I might probably see Axel likely being a young, full-time student if he is able to concentrate long enough and if he doesn't cry too much if there are other Pokémon learning too.

I believe we should establish some roles for the pokemon in the village. Joey is the head protector, Doggo do you want Tusk to be a protector?

I don't think Lightning is fitting to be protector, mostly because of him still being a kid.

Well, assuming everyone is in the village, I think we can start from there. If your characters are like doing something such as gathering resources outside the village, or tending to the community, maybe you can go from there. Those are just a few suggestions from me, since there are quite some routes you can take at the start.

If you wanted to introduce things gently, you could just start by setting the scene for the village, maybe describe it and the world a bit, and say what your character's up to! Alternatively, you could start with what the fire nation is up to, and maybe even an attack?
Adam's most likely gonna be relaxing at a bar caring little about his surroundings or walking through the streets while giving a coin or two to a poor person or two.
I'm also considering him having the move, Teleport. But he won't use it too often.

I feel really stumped, can’t think of a proper opening post, sorry for the delay I’ll get to writing as soon as possible.
That took less than 30 minutes, I overestimated how much I actually had to write.

What exactly is the village like? Not just hidden by the forest, but what culture does it have and how often are poor people seen in it?
Ah, I'll get started on my post in about half an hour after shopping.
Since it’s a gathering I expect there to be many different quarters, and I think they would try provide everyone with a living space since they’re all basically fugitives and need to work together.
So do we have homes, or is it more like shelters? (Eg- is it more like a village or a slum)
