Ask to Join Pokemon GX (Generation neXt)

So I know this is a weird concept, but a Yugioh GX RP on YouTube inspired me, and I decided that I really like the concept of how the school works at Yugioh GX. So, what if I took the concept, and applied it to the Pokemon Universe?

Backstory:
In the Unova Region, it's main claim to fame in competitive Pokemon battling is the Battle Academy, a large island off the coast of Unova. Donated to public use by it's owner, who was once the second best Pokemon battler in the world, it was transformed into the most prestigious school for promising Pokemon trainers. In the school, there are three ranks, according to skill.
First is Reshiram Red. They wear Red variations of the school uniform, and are the lowest rank in the school. They have the worst dorms and facilities.
Next is Zekrom Yellow. They wear Yellow variations of the school uniform, and are the medium rank. They have decent dorms and facilities.
Finally, there is Kyurem Blue. They wear a dark blue variation of the school uniform, and are the best of the best. They have insanely expensive dorms and facilities.
However, it doesn't always work out as intended. See, it is heavily rumoured that the owner was also a part of Team Plasma in their prime, explaining the ranking system. N used Reshiram, and was seen as a traitor to Plasma, while Ghetsis used Kyurem, the Pokemon the top rank was named after. The bias doesn't stop there. Although the ranks are intended to operate on Skill, it doesn't always work out that way. Kyurem Blue has become full of mostly rich kids, paying money to get in and obtain the best Pokemon. Meanwhile, Reshiram Red sometimes contains good, decent or even great trainers, who just happened to get in some trouble or anger the wrong teacher. Due to the reputation, the kids up at
Kyurem Blue often bully the lower rank students, especially the Reshiram's, often with the famous phrase of "third-rate Reshirams" (my version of Slifer Slackers from Yugioh Gx). This has caused a hatred for the Kyurem Blue kids, and a heated rivalry with the Reshirams. You have got into this school, somehow, whether it was a tournament, legacy, a scholarship, scouting or just straight up paying, and are currently on a cruiseship, going to the large island from Castelia City. And it's just about to arrive. As a beginning Trainer, you will most likely have one Pokemon, that may be evolved once in the case of more experienced trainers. There will be opportunity to catch more on the island, but pokeballs are in short supply there and field trips are very rare for lower ranks. Two large Tournaments are about to take place, to decide the winning rank by a league format. This has always been won by the Kyurem Blue's.
The Island has the main area, with a large turning road that can take you to all three dorms (although they are very spaced out with trees and harsh forests blocking them from each other, as a way to avoid vandalism). There is the wilderness, which is supposed to be off limits, where stories of abandoned dorms and electric fences are told, and rumours of rare Pokemon, hidden Ice Caves underneath the ground and a long inactive small volcano. The pokeball shop exists, along with the classrooms and canteen, in the main building in the centre of the dorm path (whenever new pokeball shipments are brought in, they are often gone instantly).
To conclude, here is a short description of the dorms. Also, important note: girls are all Kyurem Blue, as they are the only dorm with enough private funding to have a girls dorm built. It is possible to move-up ranks during the year.

Reshiram Red- A grey and brown dorm with a red roof, has two floors accessible from stairs along the front. Is said as being a little more like a bunch of connected sheds than a dorm, with a small and cramped cafe on the side. It is on the East from the main building, and the sea is visible from there. The dorms all have bunk beds. However, some Reshirams sneak in items to liven their dorms up, and there is a strong sense of camaraderie between the Reshirams, having a bit more of a joking attitude between each other due to their bad situation. Most aren't even bad trainers, and are there because of other reasons. They are often bullied by the Kyurem Blue's, and have gathered a strong hatred for them due to their inability to do anything about it. They are the most likely to break rules, but are also the most likely to get punished for everything.

Zekrom Yellow- A grey dorm with a yellow roof, it's exactly what you'd expect from a dorm and it's facilities, with a mess hall and single rooms. It is on the west of the main building, being nearer to the dangerous forests, but teachers believe they are the least likely to cause any trouble. They are all solid trainers, and it is seen as the dorm of nerds, loners, eccentrics and also the really average Trainers. By extent, it is seen as the most boring dorm, mediocre and not very fun. However, teachers mostly leave them to their own devices, thinking they're the 'safe kids' and due to the positioning of their dorm could cause some serious trouble if they really tried. They are looked down on by the Blue's, but are quite chill with the Red's, and are mostly ignored in the colour war.

Kyurem Blue-
Hot tubs. Personalised rooms. Pets. A huge dining hall. Marble walls. North location, around the peaceful forests. Gardens and orachards, a small lake in the gardens. Two huge floors, with the dining hall taking up the entirety of the bottom floor. The rooms are on the left and right wings of the top floor, with a living room in the middle, containing a comfy fireplace and comfortable seats. Even a goddamn Helipad. The Kyurem Blue dorms are basically perfect. The other dorms don't respect them, some hate them, but they always seem to come out on top. They break the rules only to spite those below them, and can often have it ignored by teachers. Most are rich kids with legacy parents, and expensive, rare Pokemon. They often bully the Reshiram Reds, calling them the famous and hated phrase "second-rate Reshirams", and despite being powerful trainers there are not many trainers left there with actual proper skill. Kyurem Blue was what most trainers here dreamed of as kids, but any honest trainer who got in there would soon have their dreams crushed by the harsh reality of who they would have to be hanging around with.

His father was a Pokemon scientist, but Isaac always wanted to go to the Battle Academy he heard so much about from his friends. It was his dream to get into Kyurem Blue, and he always watched the entirety of the adverts when they appeared on TV. After coming in third at an entrance tournament at Mauville city, he was enroled, and hurriedly took a flight to Castelia City in Unova to get the boat there. He was amazed, having never left Littleroot Town, and knows there's so much more for him to see. He thinks he has a safe place in Zekrom Yellow, and looks up to the Kyurem Blue's, but he's about to have his bubble burst when he reaches the academy.

Isaac sat on the boat, in his normal clothes. He could see the island as they neared docking. He started to get excited, looking as far as he could out the window. As the boat started to dock at the South port of the Academy, he saw the Kyurem Blue dorm, far in the north past the main building. The huge marble building had a dark blue roof, the stone glimmering majestically in the light. There was a slight shaking of the boat as it docked, and he started lining up to leave. He got off, letting Beldum out of it's ball and seeing the teacher, Mr. Cruff. Beldum started to back around, scared by all the people and Pokemon. He walked up to one of the booths, with an assistant occupying it. This was where the ranks were handed out and orientation was sorted. The man looked bored already. "Name." He groaned. "Isaac Willo. I'm pretty sure I'm a solid Zekrom Yellow, IF NOT Kyurem Blue." The man still seemed not to care at all. As the man started to stamp some papers, Beldum was long lost in the crowd, accidentally reversing into somebody. Panicking, Beldum turned it's eye towards it, and instinctively used Iron Head. The teacher fell over, getting up and staring down angrily at the Pokemon. Beldum retreated to Isaac, attracting his attention, absolutely terrified. "What's wrong boy?" He turned to see the dark blue coat wearing teacher, who was obviously wearing a toupee, his face distorting in anger. Isaac looked around sheepishly. "Uhhh... I'll just get back to... uh... what I was doing." He looked down to the man, hoping to be ignored by everyone. The man finished, grabbing a yellow stamp, about to stamp the paper. He spoke, as if he had said it many times before. "Isaac Willo. Zekrom Yello..." Just before he finished and made the stamp, a shriekingly high voice disrupted him. "RESHIRAM RED!" The man looked up, clearly annoyed he had to deal with THIS again. Isaac looked around to the teacher, surprised. "Uh, what?" The man shrieked again. "RESHIRAM RED!" "Yeah, you said that before..." The man walked up, angered. "THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE! RESHIRAM RED! RESHIIIIRAAM!" He seemed to be going completely mad in anger, shrieking so hard that his ears hurt. "Really?" He turned around to see the man had made the stamp. "Sorry pal. That's just your luck." He handed him the paper. Isaac took it up, struggling to believe it. He sighed, taking it and continuing over to the pack of other Reshiram Red's for orientation.

Name: Star Beyaish
Gender: Male
Age: 13
Appearance: Tall, muscular teenage boy with very long jet black hair that reaches the small of his back. His skin is a dark tan and his eyes are a rich, dark shade of brown. His hair is kept tied back in a loose ponytail with a black hair-tie.
Personality: Star is stern and strict; he has a remarkably short temper but can focus for hours. To those he deems trustworthy, he is very kind and loyal.
Skills: Battling and general pokemon care
Starting Rank: Reshiram Red
Pokemon: (start with one, first evolutions may be possible for the older trainers)
Species- Goomy
Nickname- Wiwa
Personality- Playful, cheerful, loyal, has difficulty focusing
Backstory: After divorcing Star's father, Star's mother, Molly, used a large portion of her savings to get her sons, Star and Cian, a pokemon so that they wouldn't be as lonely with her being away from home so much now. Star, of course, got Wiwa and his brother, Cian, received a Spritzee that he named Jay Jay.

Star for off the boat, stumbling from having been on the water for a while. Wiwa, his Goomy, leaps off confidently. "Gooooo!" he cried out joyfully. Star merely chuckled. "Come on, you," he told the goofball dragon as he got into line behind another first year.

The other guy, Seth he said his name was, was almost sorted into Zeckrom Yellow until some teacher went off the rails. "What in the world?" He muttered as he steps up to the table. "Are you okay?" he asked Seth as Wiwa came up to the new boy and gave him a miserable look.

"Yeah. Just bad luck I guess." He retracted Beldum to his pokeball to avoid this happening again. He looked down at the sad-looking Goomy. "No need to be sad for my sake little guy." He moved over to the others who had been assigned to Reshiram Red, standing in a little group. There was an older student wearing his Reshiram Red uniform, presumably the guide.

Star silently followed Seth as he joined the Reshiram Red crowd, shrugging on his red jacket as he went. "At least we know someone in our groups," he said in an attempt to cheer up the other boy.

"And there's no point in telling Wiwa not to be sad for someone," he said as he got down on one knee to better pet the tiny dragon. The comforting sensation perked the little guy right up. "He feels bad for anyone he sees who's feeling down."

"Well, he's certainly an odd one for sure. Even among other Dragon type Pokemon, Goomy's are odd." He held the red jacket slung over his shoulder, not putting it on yet, still slightly salty about what happened. He entered the mass of Red students, noticing the pokemon around him. A lot of Starter Pokemon, with some common early route Pokemon as well. He looked back at Star and Wiwa, noticing how they certainly stood out among the other Reds with a Beldum and a Goomy.

The group started to move around, as the older kid, who was apparently the Rank Captain, showed them around the facilities. The Main building, how to get to the classroom, and the other dorms. When they saw the Kyurem Blue dorm, Isaac tried to look inside through the windows, barely being able to see how sparkly it was on the inside. It was like a mansion or something. "Woah, they treat you right in Kyurem Blue." He marvelled. He couldn't help but think about what could have been. The group started to head for their dorm. Seth was actually starting to get pretty hyped to see where he'd be staying. He turned the corner past some trees with the group to see their dorm. As he saw it, all his excitement dropped. "Oh." He really quite couldn't believe it. Was this it? As they walked past the gate, which seemed to be missing the actual Gate part, there was a sign nailed into the wall. "Third-Rate Reshiram Dorm", it said. When the Rank Captain saw this he started to look angry, looking around into the surrounding forest, like he thought somebody was there. "Okay, which one of you did this?" The silence of the forest was all that could be heard. It seemed as if the culprits were long gone. The Captain grumbled. "Those Kyurem Blue's again." As he desperately tried to pull the sign off with the help of his Monferno, he just told everyone to explore the dorms on their own and just knock themselves out. "But not literally. I'm not taking the blame for that." Isaac walked up to the second floor, the wood creaking underneath his feet on the stairs along the front of the building, doors lined up underneath and above it. He walked along the thin platform to the fourth dorm along, and opened it. It was pretty small, with a desk, and on the other side of the room was a bunk bed. "Wait, I'm sharing a room?" He had read where he was staying from the sheet. He unpacked his stuff from his bag, although he didn't have much. Maybe he was lucky, there wasn't much space to store stuff. He reluctantly put on his jacket, looking into the rectangular mirror on the wall. He actually looked alright. He read the rest of the sheet. Apparently, lessons would start tomorrow, and they had the day to get acquainted and explore the island.

Star ended up following Isaac again; although, this time it wasn't out of wanting to stick with another first year. They were simply in the same dorm room.

"Imagine seeing you here," he said with a trace of humor in his voice as he walked in, a duffel bag slung over his shoulder. He immediately went for the bunk beds, sitting on the bottom bunk. He put the provided pillow under the bed and pulled his own from the bag; the duffel bag seemed stuffed to the brim with fiction books, pokemon raising aid books, textbooks, an empty bookbag, pokemon treats, pokemon cleaning supplies, and more. He set the duffel bag against the headboardand putting his own pillow, woth a pillowcase of a Mightyena howling at the moon, up against the duffel bag. "That should do it for me," he said with a smile as Wiwa hopped in his lap.

"Should do it?" Isaac laughed sarcastically. "You have way more than I have. If i didn't know any better I'd think you'd actually planned this out." He joked.
"So, I guess since we're roommates now, and we're going to this school for a reason, I guess we should sort out who the strongest Reshiram Red is!" He let Beldum out of his pokeball, who seemed surprised by the sudden change in scenery at first, but seemed okay with it afterwards. He didn't like large spaces with lots going on, so this was more his style. Isaac opened the door and left the dorm, taking a breath of fresh air from the strong wind. He walked down the stairs to his right, and saw the stone area in front of the dorm. Somebody had set up a makeshift basketball hoop on one side of the area, and on the other side the Sign that was put up at the entrance seemed to be gone, along with the Captain. Probably off doing... whatever Rank Captains do. "There's still so much i don't know about this place.

(That awkward moment when you mix up the names of two of your OC's and have to go through and correct everything)

Star chuckled and followed Isaac outside. He paused in the doorway, gazing around the front area. "It reminds me of home," he said, not sound pleased by the fact at all. "I can't complain though; I asked to be a Reshiram Red," he confessed as he went off past the gate to find a good place for a battle. Wiwa followed, getting distracted every few seconds by some new sights.

"Focus, Wiwa," Star gentle chastised as he continued walking. He didn't even have to look back to realize that his dragon was lagging behind.

While everyone else had gone to look at the room's Tom had chosen to stay outside with Blitz his electrike and was sat on a bench in front of the reshiram red dorm looking up at the sky. He hadn't packed much just the most needed things for hygiene and sleep but the one thing he had done that he was happy about was remembering to pack his camping equipment that way he wouldn't have to sleep in the old weakened dorm's everyday. However as he was lost in thought Blitz started to howl out in the middle of the courtyard like area he could tell that his partner was bored but the only thing he was annoyed about now was that his partner had probably just woken up everybody who was in the middle of a nap in the dorms.

A young, small girl (whose height made her look no older than ten years old) walked through the halls of the big school that she wanted to take part in. She found herself outside some big doors, presumably the ones that belonged to the office of the chancellor, whoever that was. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer.

She had traveled through Sinnoh as soon as she turned ten. She went through many adventures with her starter Pokemon, a Piplup named Pip (she wasn't very creative with names back then, but now she wouldn't change it for the world). Pip was incredibly strong... and stubborn. Her Pokemon just wouldn't listen to reason when she first received him! But now she and Pip had a strong bond. It tore her heart having to leave all her Pokemon behind back in Snowpoint City, her hometown.

Sylvia had long, light pink hair and blue eyes. She liked wearing a simple T-shirt with white on the top, slashed diagonally at the bottom and splitting to pink on the bottom, and blue jean shorts that rested just above her knees. Her sneakers were pink with white soles and laces; very simple. She held her Trainer Card close to her, tightening her grip on it.

Isaac's attempt to find a place for a battle was interrupted by the sound of multiple footsteps. He looked to the forests area on their right, seeing five students in blue uniforms emerge from the trees, the three at the front with smug grins on their faces. They looked to be far older than them, probably from later years. One with spiky jet black hair stepped up to the front of them. "Well well well, look who we have here. Some third-rate Reshirams." He looked to the Gate, realising the sign was missing, with some nails still left in, it having been hastily ripped out. "Aww, we put a lot of effort into making that. You should be thanking us." The one with the smooth brown hair cut in. "Yeah, it was probably more expensive than your entire dorm." The one who was speaking earlier took back control. "We'll have to make sure that dunce and his Monferno pay for that." Isaac stepped in. "Well, he's our dorm captain! He's a third year, and he could probably beat you!" The black-haired one laughed. "Ha! Us three are third years too. We're the best of the best. Usually I would teach you a lesson for this, but you newbies aren't worth my time." That was when an evil grin crossed his face. "I have an idea... Alistair, Percival, get over here!" The two boys behind the third years stepped forwards. They seemed to be first-years too. The one with the pointed black hair looked down at the shorter, plain looking brown haired boy called Percival. "Little bro, why don't you and your friend take care of these third-rates for us. Think of it as... an initiation." Percival seemed hesitatant to reply. However, the smart-looking blonde-haired and blue-eyed boy that he had called Alistair stepped forwards, speaking for him. "Of course." They both prepared their pokeballs as the gang of third-years stepped out of the way. It looked like they didn't have time for that battle, they were in a double battle now. And Isaac didn't really feel like letting the Kyurem Blues walk all over them.
