Hey, Ry-burst, can you start the tournament. I don't think were gonna be interacting much till then.

Name: Willa Cabbage
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4"
Physical Appearance: Willa has a practically figureless body, which she keeps covered in her old patched-up coat. She has square, almost masculine shoulders, accentuating her rectangular frame. She has a somewhat gaunt face with sharp features, along with piercing blue-grey eyes and shoulder-length mouse brown hair. Her hair is almost always tangled and messy, sticking out at odd angles and random directions.
Clothing: Willa is inseparable from her signature grey long coat, which is covered in patches of odd, mismatched fabric scraps. The rest of her ensemble is rather plain, with long white pants splotched with various marks and stains and a pair of old running shoes.
Personality: Willa's personality has a tendency to change on the fly depending on who she is talking to. Strangers will find her to be cold, prickly, and even a little bit creepy. Some opponents might even find her to be intimidating, at least on the field of battle. This is mostly because Willa feels that she has enough friends as it is, and generally isn't interested in forming new bonds. Though she has been proven wrong time and time again, her stubborn nature refuses to allow her to change her social tactics. Those close to Willa know her as a socially awkward jokester with a penchant for the dramatic. Around her friends, Willa is usually the first to start joking and laughing. She values the time she has with her friends above just about everything else.
Skills:
-Analytical: Willa is known to plan two steps ahead of her opponent, determining their likely reactions to certain situations and countering them ahead of time. While each Trainer and Pokemon is unique in its own way, Willa believes that she can gauge the general capabilities of any opponent.
-Coded Commands: Willa has developed a private code between herself and her Pokemon. This code includes battle commands, tactics, and even entire maneuvers. Willa's code mainly serves as a way to throw off her opponents, but it has also helped her bond with her Pokemon.
-Spite of Envy: Willa always takes her opponents especially seriously if they can perform Mega Evolution, as she knows firsthand what a trainer with that kind of power is capable of. However, because of her own failed attempts at Mega Evolution, she tends to hold a bit of a grudge against users of the technique.
-Shameful Gambler: Willa is known to frequent Game Corners across multiple regions, often losing thousands at a time. She has to stop, but addiction is a powerful thing.
Strengths: Willa is usually very attentive to details, and can pick up on things quickly even outside of Pokemon battles. She considers her Pokemon to be her family, and holds each one in the highest regard.
Weaknesses: Willa has a tendency to rely too much on her plans, and is terrible at thinking on her feet. In the worst scenarios, this can lead to full blown panic in the middle of a battle. She can also be a bit prickly with new people, even to those who don't necessarily deserve it.
Goal: Willa has had a few odd dreams of becoming a Gym Leader one day, but overall she's still trying to figure out her end goal beyond becoming a strong trainer. At her core, Willa mostly wants enjoyment and satisfaction out of life.
(Abridged) Backstory: Willa started off as an aimless, antisocial kid in Vermillion City, mostly content to live her days in solitude cooped up in her room. That changed when she met Drake, a trainer who was passing through Vermillion to challenge the city's Gym Leader. Inspired by Drake's passion for battling, Willa decided to take on the gym challenge herself, later proclaiming herself to be Drake's rival. Their friendly rivalry continued for years, until Drake decided to continue his training at the Pastoria Gym in Sinnoh, in hopes of one day succeeding Crasher Wake as the Gym Leader.
Afterwords, Willa spent her days wandering from city to city, taking in the sights before meeting a man named Marcus, a powerful trainer and self proclaimed "pirate", at the harbor of Olivine City. Marcus took a liking to the wandering trainer, and the two began training with each other, and eventually took on the gyms of Kalos together. While in Kalos, Marcus and Willa learned about Mega Evolution, and both of them decided to learn to wield that power for themselves. However, neither trainer was successful in learning the art of Mega Evolution. While Marcus shrugged the whole thing off, Willa was furious at her inability to wield Mega Evolution, and began another journey to strengthen herself, not to learn Mega Evolution, but to become so powerful that she wouldn't need it.

@Glaceon trainer, I’m waiting for everyon to get a post up. It wouldn’t be fair otherwise. Please, be patient.

He spent six months training in Snowpoint to learn Blast Burn and Frenxy Plant, a few months learning of Mega Evolution with Gurkin to become a successor of Mega Evolution, and his mother was a top Pokemon Breeder and taught him a lot. However you might have to discount his time with Maylene a bit. He wasn’t trained directly by here 24/7. He learned a lot from the gym trainers, and he learned battle techniques and a lot on fighting types. Plus if you don’t count Alola, mainly because your guy just arrived, our characters have been to the same about of regions. So it might be a draw.

you need permission from man admin to have Mega Evolution
And not that permission is needed but 2 shiny pseudo legendaries is a bit...on the nose? That's probably not the right word but eh...
@ReaperTheSoulEater, i can’t accept you for a few reasons, which most are based at your Pokemon.
Like in the games, Shinies are extremely rare. And you can’t just Shiny hunt them in the RPing world of Pokemon. Maybe limit yourselves to one or two. But 4 is a little much.
Secondly, any OC who is capable of Mega Evolving Pokemon, must get permission from an admin. (I’m not an admin. You need someone like @StellarWind Elsydeon to get permission from.) You need to have reasons, story, info and tons more to get a Mega. Plus it has to be approved.
As for the Puesdos, again, they are extremely hard to train, and rare. I can understand wanting to have a Larvitar as a starter, and that’s fine, but having two, and them both being shiny, seems kinda Mary Sueish.
And finally as for Ry, he might not directly know her, but an idea that could stick work the same, is that she is a fan of his, and has a puppy dog crush on him. He’s been apart of a few leagues and there is a chance for her to have seen him, through the TV or at the stadium.

Hey, I'm about to make another post on the main thread, but I feel I should clear a few things up first.
