"I dunno." Kale said. As he walked down the cave, he heard another crash. This one was softer, though, and he could barely hear it over the waterfall. What he did hear, however, was the screech of a Pokemon. He walked quietly towards the source of the light. As he turned the corner, what he saw shocked him. The cavern opened up into a large room, with wire cages stacked in piles. The ones near Kale were empty, while the ones on the other side of the cave had Pokemon of all species in them. The screech was from an Arbok that two buff men were pushing back into an overturned cage.
"What's going on here?" Kale watched as a man in a white cloak walked in, angry. He clearly was the leader here, abd was wearing a strange device on his left arm. Kale wasn't sure exactly what these people were doing, but he knew that they seemed to look and act a lot like the Rocket Grunts Kale had seen back in Kanto.
"What do we do?" Kale whispered.

Jade heard the noise as well. As she watched Daniel run towards the forest, she could feel her curiosity begin to rise.
"H-hey! Wait up!" Jade said, running after Daniel.
"What's going on here?" Kale watched as a man in a white cloak walked in, angry. He clearly was the leader here, abd was wearing a strange device on his left arm. Kale wasn't sure exactly what these people were doing, but he knew that they seemed to look and act a lot like the Rocket Grunts Kale had seen back in Kanto.
"What do we do?" Kale whispered.

The man in white held up a hand to silence the grunt. He looked over at where Kale and Jake were, and smirked.
"Keep loading them up. I'll take care of the mice." The man in white said. He walked towards where Kale and Jake were hiding with a smirk. Now that he was closer, Kale could see the X shaped scar on the man in white's face.
"Well? Shall we begin?" The man asked.
"Jake, we can't fight them! We have to run!" Kale whispered. "They could kill us!"

"Well? Shall we begin?" The man asked.
"Jake, we can't fight them! We have to run!" Kale whispered. "They could kill us!"
"D-dangit! We'll take him t-together!" Kale said, grabbing a Pokeball and standing by Jake. "Go, Nina!"
Kale sent out his Nidoran Female, and she looked around, taking in her surroundings.
"Nido, Nido!" <Let's fight!> Nina said when she saw Jake's Slowking and Combee.
"No, Nina! Focus on the man in white first!" Kale said, pointing to the man in white. Nina nodded and pawed the ground.
The man in white looked at the small group of Pokemon in front of, a look of mock disappointment on his face. He shook his head.
"Tsk, tsk. How improper of you, sending out all your Pokemon at once. Here I was expecting you two to observe by the rules of the double battle. Ah, well." The man in white said. He unclipped a Pokeball from his belt and sent it out.
"Go, Galvantula!" The man in white said, sending out his electric tarantula Pokemon. Kale's eyes widened, and he took a step back.
While Kale and Jake were occupied with the man in white, they had failed to notice an Ariados crawling silently across the ceiling above them. When they stepped out from their hiding spots, the Ariados had crawled behind them and made a strong, sticky web covering the way they had came in. Now that it's evil deed was done, the Arias is let out a screech to signal it's presents. Kale let out a small scream himself, and turned 180 to find himself face-to-face with another spider Pokemon. They were surrounded.
Kale backed into Jake so they were back to back.
"P-p-plan?" Kale asked. Nina quickly ran over to protect her trainer.
Kale sent out his Nidoran Female, and she looked around, taking in her surroundings.
"Nido, Nido!" <Let's fight!> Nina said when she saw Jake's Slowking and Combee.

While all this chaos was going down, the man in white leveled the device on his arm at Jake's Larvesta and a small weighted net shot out, heading straight towards the Larvesta.

Jake Slowking got hit by thunderbolt as Larvesta Tried dodging the net but failed as eevee used Swift to Nock away the net. "Hey! You tried to capture my Pokemon! Chandelure! Use FlameThrower on Galvantula! And Slowking Use Psychic on Galvantula too!" Both Slowking and Chandelure Charged their Attacks and Shot it at Galvantula.
The man in white's smile grew at Jake's retaliation. He was a hunter at heart, and the two high school students in front of him were now no longer people for him. To the man in white, they were prey. Acting quickly, the man in white pressed another button on the device on his arm, and the ground in front of his Galvantula burst open revealing an Onix. However, unlike normal Onix, this one had black stripes down it's body and it's horn seemed sliced half off.
"Onix, Protect!" The man in white said, pressing another button on the device on his arm. Onix's eyes glowed, and a green force field appeared blocking the two attacks. The man in Shine's Galvantula crawled over to the right side of the Onix and onto the side of a cage as the man in white commanded,
"Galvantula, ThunderBolt the Slowking again!" The man in white, on the other hand, ran to the left of the Onix and shot two small nets, these ones armed with charges of electricity at Jake's Larvesta and Eevee.
Kale tried to think through the panic he was experiencing, and managed to keep enough wits about him to remember that he had Shine, a flying type, who migjt do better against the Ariados.
"Go, Shine!" Kale said, sendinf out his Emolga.
"Mole?" Shine asked her trainer.

Jake was surprised about different Onix and didn't notice the Net. But Chandelure did. He quickly used Flame burst the Burn up the nets as Slowking Quickly got out of the way a Thunderbolt. Jake growled at this and signaled Eevee to use dig. Eevee nodded at this and went underground. He then Signaled Floette and Chandelure to use two attacks. Chandelure went to the roof of the Cave and Shot Shadow balls at all of the Hunters Pokemon While Floette used Sleep powder and covered the Whole Cave. Making all the pokemon Fall alsleep.
"I'm not going down that easily!" The man in white said. His Pokemon were struck by The Shadow Ball attacks, the first one knocking Galvantula off the side of the cage. The second one knocked the Onix to the ground, but it got right back up, its eyes nearly red with rage. The third one slammed the Ariados into the side of a cage, but it quickly recovered, hisssing angrily.
When the Floette began to dispense Sleep Powder across the whole room, the man in white quickly grabbed a mask from his cloak and pressed another button on the device on his arm.
The man in white leveled the device at his Galvantula. The device shot a large seed at the Galvantula, then the man in white launched another seed at the Onix. The seeds broke and dispersed a small powder that the man in white's Pokemon inhaled. They began to look quite stressed, and were immune to the Sleep Powder.
"Those were Worry Seeds. They prevent my Pokemon from falling asleep. Not so much for yours and your friends." The man in white said.
The Ariados began to launch itself at Kale, only to stop when the sleep powder began to fall. Kale and his Pokemon looked at it curiously as well, and they all began to feel very drowsy. Within moments, Kale, Shine, Nina, and the Ariados were all passed out on the floor, asleep.

The Beedrills flinched from the attack. Daniel and Hydreigon took this chance. Hydreigon fired a Fire Blast at them and they got defeated. But there were still more Beedrills. Daniel was interested in the attacks they used, which was Poison Sting. Hydreigon dodged the attack barely and the Beedrills switched tactics to Fury Attack. Hydreigon used Dark Pulse but they didn't flinch this time. Daniel knew that dark type moves aren't very effective against bug type pokemon and that this battle was going nowhere. That didn't stop him though, as Hydreigon used Dragon Pulse.
"I guess i have to do this alone." Jake Smirked as Eevee Jumped out of the ground and hit Onix. The when it was in the air it used Swift to attack the rest of the pokemon. "Ok! Slowking! Use Hydro Pump on Onix and Chandelure Use FlameThrower on Galvantula!" Both Slowking and Chandelure Charged Their attacks and Shot them at their designated Target.
Just as planned, more Beedrills were defeted. But not enough. Hydreigon came down to Daniel's level and charged a full power Fire Blast intending to wipe them all out. Just as they were about to attack, he fired. All the Beedrills were engulfed in the flames and even the trees caught fire. Daniel was once again worried about this. So he had Munchlax help him get rid of it. He returned both of his pokemon and continued into the forest until he came across a lake or something.
"Onix, Dig!" The man in white commanded. The Onix quickly burrowed down into the ground, dodging the Hydro Pump attack. The man in white's Galvantula shot a string of webbing at the man in white, and pulled him out of the way of the Hydro Pump attack. The Flamethrower attack, however, was a direct hit on the Galvantula. It shrieked in pain, and lost it's hold on the side of the cage, falling to the ground.
"Galvantula, Discharge!" The man in white said. The Galvantula let loose a wide electric blast, in the range of Eevee, Chandalure, and Slowking. At the same time, the man in white shot another electric net at Jake's Eevee.

Both Chandelure and Alowking but Eevee got out of the way of the net and the blast. "HEY! You tried to capture my Eevee! Thats it!" Chandelure and Slowking Shock of the attack and Charged the Same attacks again. But this time Only Slowking shot at the Pokemon. Chandelure shot at the Cage's, Melting the Bars. Larvesta Went Near Galvatula and used String Shot then Ember. Floette took this opportunity to slowly and quietly Sneak to the man in white. Jake saw this and didn't know what she was planing, but let her do her thing. Jake smriked again.
The man in white's Onix burst out of the ground under the Chandalure, slamming into it.
"Good, Onix! Follow up with Stone Edge!" The man in white said. He didn't seem,to,mind that there were holes in the cage, as the Floette had put all the Pokemon to sleep when it used Sleep Powder. Daniel looked closely and saw something in the waterfall. He was curious and went in and there and there was a cave. He went deeper in and saw what seemed to be a wall. 'Huh, what's this?' he thought to himself. He sent Hydreigon out and Hydreigon used Fire Blast on the wall. It definitely made a dent but it wasn't enough. once the smoke cleared from the Fire Blast Hydreigon used Dragon Pulse and it blasted the wall open.
Chandelure was hit by some of the Stone Edge but doged the rest of them. "Ok Chandelure, Attack back with Flamethrower!" Chandelure Charged Flamethrower and shot it at Onix While Eevee and Larvesta moved out of the way of the nets. "Just give up on trying to catch my Pokemon! Their to fast for your nets!"Larvesta used String shot before Chandelure landes the attack as Slowking was hit by The Blast and was nocked back a bit but Used Psychic On Galvantula.
"Mmm... Donuts... No Nina, you're eating them too fast.... You'll get sick..." Kale said in his sleep. His dream ended, and he gradually woke up. Kale sat up and rubbed his eyes, not really remembering exactly where he was. Suddenly, it all came back to him. Kale jumped up in panic.
"Jake?!" Kale said. Behind him, Kale heard a hiss. Unfortunatly, the man in white's Ariados had woken up as well. Kale and the Ariados made,eye contact, and Kale found that he couldnt seem to make himself move. He was paralyzed with fear. The Ariados was preparing to pounce, when suddenly the wall behind it exploded outward. Kale and his still sleeping Pokemon were doing back,by the blast, landing near Jake. The Ariados on the other hand, was buried in rubble. Kale sat up and looked through the dust, trying to see what caused it. He looked through and spotted a familiar figure.
"Daniel?" Kale said.
The man in white was starting to feel a little pressure. The first kid wasn't much of a threat, like he assumed, but this other kid was good! And now there was a third one?! His Onix withstood the Flamethrower attack and launched another Stone Edge attack at the Chandalure.
"Yo, boss! We got all the rarer ones loaded up! We're gonna be late!" One of his grunts said to him, running in from the tunnel behind him. The man in white looked back at the battle just in time to see Galvantula get knocked out by the Slowking's psychic attack. He weighed the odds in moments.
"Go, Houndoom! Return, Galvantula!" The man in white commanded, sending out his Houndoom. The devil dog Pokemon let out a howl.
"Houndoom, use FlashBang!" The man in white commanded, covering his eyes. The Houndoom let out another howl as it used a combination of the moves Flash and Smokescreen. Kale was blinded by the flash of light and and the smoke, and began to cough. The man in white recalled his Onix and Ariados, and the two Poke-smugglers ran down the tunnel away from the battle.

Daniel protected himself from the bright light also, and saw the pokemon taken away, even Hydreigon. Daniel scoffed and thought 'Oh of course this happened, but Hydreigon won't put up with this.' He made a message on his phone and showed it to Kale and it said "What happened here?! I just arrived and suddenly there was a blinding light!"
"W-we... We discovered this cave, and there were these smugglers, and, and..." Kale trailed off, not knowing how to explain it all. He turned to Jake.
"We can still catch them... Right?"

"Hey, boss, check this out." The grunt that got the man in white said. They were loading the last cage into the truck, and the man in white was glancing over his shoulder back into,the cave.
"What?" The grunt held up a Pokeball.
"I snagged that kid's Hydriegon." The grunt said with a smile.
"What?!" The man in white exclaimed. The Pokeball the grunt was holding burst open, and the Hydriegon burst out with a roar.
"Oh, crap!" The grunt exclaimed, staggering back. The man in white aimed his device at the dragon Pokemon, but it only made a clicking sound.
"Out of nets already?!" The man in white exclaimed.
"We can still catch them... Right?"

The man in white pressed a button on his device and shot three worry seeds at the grunt, slamming him back away from the truck. At that moment, one of the Hydreigon's Dragon Pulse slammed into the side of the truck and flipped it. The man in white was barely able to jump out of the way.
With those kids on our tail and our ride gone... Now would be a good time to make my exit. The man in white thought.

"Boss! Boss!" The two grunts exclaimed as they saw their leader leaving them. They looked at each other, then back at the Hydriegon.

Catherine sat up, and realiased she was on the floor. She looked puzzled, and stared up at jacob who was still there. "What happened?" She asked jacob, who was kneeling beside her. "You blacked out!" He cried. "OH SHOOT I'VE MISSED HALF OF SCHOOL!!!" Catherine groaned. "Is Sylvia okay? Liam? Jake? EVERYONE?!" She cried. Jacob helped her up and laughed. "I think there all fine, but I'm not 100% sure because I had to stay with you. I gave eevee some pokebeans because she seemed a bit hungry...don't worry Catherine I'm sure it all fine..." jacob mumbled, the truth was he had no clue. "Well what happebed after I blacked out?" Asked Catherine. "Well we were told to go to class but I asked if I could stay behind..." jacob explained. "Well don't just stand around! LET'S GET TO CLASS!!!!!" She cried. They bolted down corridors, after what seemed like forever, they took a sharp turn and ended up at the next classroom. They both let out a sigh of relief and entered, quickly, they both sat down in the nearest free seats.

Catherine groaned, as her eevee licked her face "EWW STOP IT" she screeched, then she realised she was on the floor again. then she started crying. "OMG WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!!!" she exclaimed, hugging her eevee tightly.
As Joe ran into class he saw a girl hugging her eevee. He walked in only to be confronted by the teacher as he was late to the class. Joe replied by saying he had a little trouble during lunch and that if he want to kick him out of class he could just discuss that with one of the other students in the class. He glances over at Jacob.

Catherine put her eevee down then stood up. "Okay thats it. I have to pull up my act if I want to be a good trainer. Falling asleep during class isn't going to get me anywhere!" She told herself.
(lol its been so long since I've been on pokecharms and I'm really sorry because I keep telling everyone I'm back, then I just stop coming on for a long period of time.)
She stood up and had a wander round the school, It seemed empty to her even though there were people in most of the classes. That made her feel pretty lonely but she decided to keep going, hoping she would bump into someone so she could ask what was going on. Eevee jumped up onto her shoulder and sat down. Catherine giggled and patted Eevee's head. "Don't worry we'll find someone." Laughed Catherine, continuing to walk around the school.
