Pokemon: Hoenn Crisis Discussion and Introduction
It is yet another beautiful spring season in the Hoenn region, a region teeming with life. A peaceful coexistence with nature's creatures, known as Pokemon, with the humans, has led to quite the prosperous society. Some use these creatures as pets, raising them in a comfortable environment. Others use them to "battle", pitting their strengths against one another in good-natured duels. And still others dedicate themselves to studying and researching the vast potential these magical creatures have.
However... there are those whose hearts are filled with malice, only seeing Pokemon as nothing more than tools to use for their own personal gain. Two such individuals, known as Archie and Maxie, have formed organizations of their own dedicated to enslaving certain legendary Pokemon to change the very landscapes themselves!
And it looks like you're along for the ride, good for you!

She opens only to those she trusts, and that's rare. If you do manage to break her cold exterior, though - she'll be the best friend you've ever had.

Personality: Marcus is a man of few words and is mainly seen with a serious look on his face, he wouldn't hesitate to battle/attack someone who goes against his--or Team Aqua's--dreams and has shown distinct signs of cruelty toward Team Aqua. He isn't completely heartless however as he has a strong love for Pokemon thanks to his family having lived on a farm and having a gift that makes most Pokemon like him, his love for Pokemon is strong enough that he openly questions his own men if they ever tried anything that would harm wild Pokemon.

Motivation: Akane is in it for the money, strangely enough. Her family is quite poor, so she sends most of what she earns from working for Team Aqua back to them. She doesn't really believe that Team Aqua will ever have the power to 'increase the ocean's or whatever, and if anything just thinks that they might be able to bring notice to issues such as water pollution.
Personality: Akane doesn't really like most of the stuff she has to do as a grunt. Therefor, she's pretty grumpy most of the time. She knows she's in a gang, so she's not really too keen on making friends with other grunts. But she really cares about her Pokemon and family and friends. She's not afraid to throw a punch if she has to, and will definitely show it if she gets angry. She's kinda secretive, and doesn't like to show her actual face to her fellow grunts. Overall, doesn't really talk too much. She tries not to talk at all, if possible.
