Hi, guys. I have this idea of an RP of an adventure of a few Pokemon trainers, traveling the region together to reach their personal dreams and admirations. It'll be set in the anime, where they catch Pokemon and they grow alongside them, Ash exists in this world and the events that happened in the anime can be referenced here. I have an amazing and interesting story planned for this and I've been dying to share this with others for the longest time. The story will involve death, sadness, defeat, success, romance, struggle and friendship.

Who I'm looking for to be apart of this RP with me and tell this story with me, is someone who is deeply descriptive, a regular on this website and will frequently post. Someone who is creative as they are great at storytelling. They must not leave long periods of time where they don't reply and become absent for days on end. Obs if something IRL comes up, like if life happens, school gets in the way or you go on holiday, etc. that's perfectly fine, I just don't want a sudden absents. I want this to be a relatively long RP, tbh so I want people to be involved as much as they can

- Story Preview -
The journey begins in Veilstone City, Sinnoh. It is Finlay's 17th birthday and he wakes up to the news, reporting multiple cases around the region of people collapsing and going into comas, some even disappearing completely on the spot whenever they lost a battle. It's been a weird phenomenon that's been occurring recently, no one is really sure the context, the situation or simply putting it, why this is happening. Finlay's dad went missing a while ago, no one knows where he has been or heard from him since, or if it's related to these strange battle related injuries. No one even knows if he's alive or not. Since then, Finlay and his mother have been living on scraps for a very long time, Finlay couldn't afford to go and have his own journey since he needed to stay home and make sure the finances are not in the red. He had been working as a cleaner for the Veilstone Gym and also got to train with Maylene when she had spare time as an extra treat. Whether if it's with a Pokemon or on his own body.

A chance shows itself, an opportunity for Finlay to be able to pursue his dream, but that chance also brings up some questions about his past and his missing father. Fueling him to go on his own adventure even more.

Appearance: Griff has chocolate-brown skin with long, black hair that goes down to his shoulders. His left eye is a deep brown while is right is a sapphire blue. He's also rather skinny. He wears a worn, black leather jacket over a baggy white t-shirt along with dark grey, baggy jeans and white sneakers.
Personality: Always the first one to make jokes, Griff is casual, laid back, and loves to battle. He doesn't let too much affect him, he was able to tune it out over the years. He's also kind to those he considers friends. He struggles with interacting with girls around his age, though, and usually doesn't make direct eye contact with any girls. Although, if he gets to know them for a while, he can talk to them like anyone else. Something that really gets on his nerves, and usually make him lose his usual cool, laid back attitude are arrogant people, especially the rich stuck-up types. He doesn't like to admit that he's the son of successful business-people. Even though he doesn't show it, Griff also has a high intellect. He has a desire to see the world, and plans to take in as ,any sights as he can.

Past: Born into a rich family in Saffron City, Griff lived a pampered life, oblivious to the conditions of other people. At school, he was often bullied, especially because of his eyes, so he was given a tutor and rarely left the family's estate. The suffering of others dawned on him at the age of nine when he accompanied his parents over seas on a business trip in the Unova Region, in Castelia City. He snuck off of the boat they resided on and explored the city, seeing the poverty some people were forced to live in. At one point, he wandered into the Castelia Sewers, where he met an oddly-colored Cyndaquil, who was obviously hungry. Pitying the poor Pokemon, Griff took it back with him and kept it a secret over their sail back to Kanto, until he finally told his parents and managed convince them to allow him to keep the Cyndaquil. Without his parents being informed, Griff explained to his three sisters - two younger, one older - the conditions he'd seen other people in, in an attempt to open their eyes. Luckily, it worked, and they became much more observant to the world around them. On another trip, when they stopped by Sinnoh, Griff finally convinced his parents to allow him to go on a journey. And since they were already in Sinnoh, he decided to start there.

Nickname: "Flaire"

Ability: Blaze
Special Features: Where normal Cyndaquil have greenish blue fur on their upper half, Flaire's is black, and her flames are blue. However, she still has the cream-colored lower half.
History: Born in the sewers of Castelia City, Flaire was originally born with the same coloration of normal Cyndaquil. Hoever, as time passed, chemicals and pollutants in the sewers caused her back fur to change to the black hue it is now, and her flames to a blue color. Because of this, the few visiting trainers quickly discarded her, because they thought her different looks were bad. Until she met Griff, that was. Initially scared of the young boy back then, she quickly warmed up to the boy when he brought her food and treated her wounds she'd received from living in an area unfit for her species of Pokemon. Ever since, the two have been best friends.
Personality: Like most Cyndaquil, Flaire is very timid. The only time she is not is when she is in battle or only surrounded by people she trusts. She occasionally likes to show off, albeit rarely. She sees Griff as her best friend.

Appearance: Dark, slightly wavy but short brown hair frames blue-ish green eyes, and his bright smile stands out in contrast to his caramel-hued skin. Frequently wears black multipurpose shorts, a black t-shirt that barely hints at his toned and athletic frame, and black and white sneakers, sometimes wearing a dark blue or red light hoodie.

Personality: Damian was always the classic 'jerk with a heart of gold' case... though it may be a stretch to label him a jerk. To those who see him passing by on the road, he just seems to be this quiet, proper, almost scary individual, never talking unless he is spoken to and wearing the most disinterested expression constantly. But once he is befriended, he is kind, albeit jokingly sarcastic, a little hot-headed at times, but a big sweetheart. He is very empathetic, but when the rare occasion arises where he doesn't like someone, he will simply avoid them - unless he is pushed to reveal his repressed mean streak. He loves travelling, and is always up for a new adventure, especially if it's far away. If he has known someone long enough, in his mind, they're family. While he still struggles with insecurities, and can be a bit of a cynic, he tries to see the positives in life.

Skills: Pretty skilled at cooking, excellent at adapting to situations, critical thinking, as well as mediating, and has a strong sense of cunning.

Past: Since the day he could crawl, Damian has always been discovering things. From the inside of the washing maching to the top branches of trees, he loved adventure. When he was young, he would always imagine he had his own team of Pokemon to help ward off the invisible army of enemies that lived in the areas around Fuchsia City, the place where he grew up. He liked to think he had a fairly okay childhood, void of his father though it was, yet he seldom seemed to even acknowledge that fact. Damian had a habit of pushing his negative feelings away rather than dealing with them outright, and though his mother attempted to help with that, he refused. He always kept himself distracted somehow, either by going to the beach with his friends or family, visiting his city's Safari Zone, or by simply dreaming of doing something more.

The seventeen year-old started late, just a year before his latest birthday, and was lucky enough to have gained some experience now and then around his home region of Kanto whenever he wanted a break from living with his mom and two younger siblings. But it already wasn't enough; like he used to dream of doing, he wanted to experience more. Damian wanted to go abroad, take risks, meet new people, learn new customs; and after saving up, he did just that. He was heading off.

Special Features - Slightly larger than average, and his blue eyes are mixed with green.
History/Personality - It was always strange whenever the old joke about starter Pokemon and their trainers sharing uncanny similarities came true; funny enough, this was the case for Damian and Drogon. During a family trip to Pallet Town for the express purpose of getting starter Pokemon for Damian and one of his sisters, the teen encountered Drogon as a freshly hatched little Charmander in the town's lab and immediately fell in love. Once home in Fuchsia City, the Charmander happily settled into life with his trainer; he especially seemed to enjoy eating Damian's cooking (except for bacon, as for some reason he has a strong dislike of it.) Drogon accompanied Damian everywhere, and loved the chances they got to go out and travel, whether to some other city or just into the Safari Zone. Though he was generally non-aggressive, the Charmander never backed down from a battle, being far too prideful, and resulted in evolving into a Charmeleon. Though still the same, Drogon became slightly more no-nonsense and upfront, but still never passes the chance to lighten up with Damian.

Lapras (aka Seraphina)
Gender - Female
Ability - Water Absorb
Special Features - Has four dark blue spots on each of her fins.
History/Personality - As a prize Damian's mother won at the Celadon Gaming Corner, Seraphina seemed to always know her worth... perhaps a bit too much. Though understated, as she was a genuinely nice and courteous Pokemon towards Damian's family (and no doubt loved that they lived near the beach), she presented herself as though the company of strangers wasn't worth her time. Still, Damian loved the sassy diva, as did Drogon, though she and the latter had always been vitriolic best buds. Damian's mother offered her to the teen to take with him before he officially left home, and though he refused initially, it was insisted; someone had to take care of a teen boy and his Charmeleon after all.

Appearance: He has green eyes, he is rather well built, muscle wise since he trains with Maylene. Brown, curly, medium length hair. He wears a black tracksuit top (Hoodie), black trousers, white and grey trainers. He always has his blue backpack with him and has a black wristwatch on his left wrist.
Personality: He is a rather funny, sarcastic and adventurous individual. He likes to mess around and look at things in a light hearted way. He is rather social and always does what he can for his mates. Despite his situation growing up, he always thinks positive and rarely gets down.He doesn't like to holdback either
Skills: Battling, talking his way out of situations, improvising,
Past: He grew up in Veilstone City, with his Dad and his Mum. His dad was the head of police in Veilstone and his Mum worked in the Pokemon center. However, when Finlay was around, 10 years old. His father went MIA and nothing has been heard from him since. Finlay then was resorted to having to take up a job from a young age and lasting for the foreseeable future as well, they had to move to a house they can afford in the rough part of the city, and life wasn't looking the best. Depression dawning on both Finlay and his mother. however, Finlay overcame his depression and decided from that day forward he decided that he will look on the positive side of life and try to never go to that dark place that he was, his dad would never want that. Finlay got a job being a cleaner in the Veilstone City's Gym. Him and Maylene became really good friends and Maylene started to give Finlay lessons when it comes to working out and training Pokemon etc, so he knows when he starts his journey.

She also wears black high tops, that are fuzzy, easy to slip on, have no laces or design, and is cut off at the toes, like where the end of slides cut for your feet. She has light skin, and brown eyes. She is nice and slim, and doesn't wear make up.
Personality: Summer is bubbly, tomboyish, and fun to be around. She likes to crack jokes, and make others laugh.
Skills: Good at jumping or dodging obsticales, and speed. She knows lots of survival skills.
Past: Summer was born on a summer day in the Viridian forest, and was taken care of carefully. When she was eight, her parents died from a wild Pokemon, and she has been living in the wild ever since. She built a small shack, using tools she found around town, trees, and the help of some Pokemon she befriended. Personality: Athena is a quite determined person, not stopping to complete her goal/mission. She is very competitive and hates losing, sometimes losing her temper over a loss. She does care for her Pokemon greatly, sometimes putting them before herself.

Skills: Photographic and eiditic memory.

Past: Athena grew up in Pewter City, moving to Alola when she was 5. When she was eight, she got her first Pokemon, a Rockruff, which she named Nyx. Rockruff was a gift from her parents for her birthday. When Athena turned 16, her parents passed away when they were on a cruise around Alola. Not having any other real attachments in Alola, Athena left the region and moved to Sinnoh. She wandered around Sinnoh until she reached Veilstone. She got a job working at the department store and a small loft in town, which was pratically just a kitchen and small den. Appearance: Will has dark hair and eyes. He wears casual clothes, good for travelling
Personality: Will is kindhearted and normally willing to help out others. He can act distracted and perhaps a bit clueless, however during battle he is serious and concentrated, and his foes tend to underestimate him. He'll help out wherever possible, and, while slightly Naive, has a strong sense of right and wrong, caring about all his Pokemon and the people around him. Socially, he can be a tad awkward, however is really great if you get to know him.
Skills: Will is a great battler, especially in using unusual, creative strategies. He also makes great Pokemon food, and is great at understanding and helping them, skills taught to him by his father
Past: Will was born and raised for most of his life in Viridian City. His father, Fredrick, was a well known Pokemon Breeder. They moved to Sinnoh to see the wide range of Pokemon there, and to begin his Pokemon Journey.

Personality: Squirtle is a very stubborn Pokemon, often getting frustrated by Will's stupid actions. However, he really does care about Will. He is quite cunning and arrogant, often improvising in battle if he doesn't agree with his trainer's plan.

Ability: Keen Eye
History: Pidgey was the first Pokemon captured by Will in his journey, and has followed him around ever since.
Personality: Pidgey is a kind, compassionate Pokemon who cares deeply about her fellow Pokemon and Will.

Ability: Shadow Tag
History: Wynaut was given to Will as an egg by his father, a parting gift as he left on his journey
Personality: Wynaut is, well, strange. He often stares into the distance and is often oblivious to the situation at hand. He doesn't even seem to speak to other Pokemon. it doesn't help that he knows no attacking moves, but Will loves him all the same, but he does seem to have a certain intelligence in his silence...

Appearance: He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and peach-like skin that isn't resistant to sunburns. He wears a light green T-shirt and brown cargo pants that are slightly too short, but nobody seems to notice or care. He wears blue-and-white Adidas brand shoes that are a bit worn down.
Personality: He loves himself and anyone who shares his opinions. He picks on others due to his being picked on by his brothers as a younger boy, but only finds it necessary to do so on weaker Trainers. All he cares about in battle is strength and defeating the opponent.
Skills: He's a very good actor, and he catches on to things rather quickly.
