The universe is a strange thing. Our world is shared by creatures known as pokemon. Human train and capture pokemon. They form bonds, become friends, some even treat pokemon as a part of the family.

Our story takes place in a world like our own. There are human and pokemon, but there are also other things. Some are just like humans. Other anthropomorphic animals walk the regions. You will see people who look like wolves, foxes and many more.

Pokemon are still used to battle one another, but they are also used to protect people. There are things that are not so friendly in this universe. They will cause harm to pokemon and human alike. They can not be caught by trainers. They will not show up all the time! This will not be a main focus.

I know this is just a repost of my old RP, but seeing as quite a few things have come up, and people have been inactive, or kicked. I wanted to have a new thread up that would hopefully give it a new life to one of my favorite RPs. I hope most you did not mind that I did this. I just felt it was needed and wanted to upload it in order to get the RP started on the right track.

Things to know​
  • This is going to be more a slice of life type of rp.
  • The monsters in this will be more of roadblocks that trainers will help take care of
  • Each trainer will be starting in Kanto.
  • This will be a long journey. We will start in one region and move to others as the RP progresses.
  • Romance is allowed, but should not be the main focus. Also you can not go further then kissing.
  • Pokemom from other regions are allowed as starter pokemon.
  • Johto pokemon have a very rare chance to appear.
  • Hoenn and Sinnoh bird and water pokemon are allowed as long as you are near a coastal part of the region
  • Eevee is allowed to be eveolved into any of its evolutions.
  • Baby pokemon that have an evolved form in the original 150 are allowed to be caught.
  • Your character does not have to be human. They can look however you want them to.
  • If your character is something other then human, you will not have any special powers. It is merely cosmetic.
Rules​

  1. Follow the rules of Pokecharms. This is not something you can aviod. I will not hesitate to report you if don't.
  2. Posts must be at least a paragraph long.
  3. Cussing is allowed. Just do not have every other sentance contain one.
  4. Romance is allowed. Just don't go past kissing. This will not a main focus of the RP.

On the top of hid head are a pair of wolf ears the same color as his fur. There is also a black tip on them. They are very soft to the touch. He has amatching slim wolf tail as well. He has bright blue and pink eyes. They seem to sparkle in the sun. His eyes are big and very round. He has a slight muzzle on his face. He has a dog like nose. He seems to have a bit of brighter pink around his muzzle. His face seems to be very androgynous and no one can tell if he is a boy or a girl. He is very slim. You can see the muscles he has. He is around 5'3". He is shorter then most people.
Clothing: He wears an oversized neon pink flannel. Underneath that he wears a black tank top, with eevee and it's evolved forms. He wears black splater painted neon leggings. They are splatered with neon colors in a random fashion. He wears neon pink converse.
Personality: he is very kind. He loves to preform. He enjoys making music. He can also be a little hyper sometimes. He has a knack for helping others.

On the side of her head are a pair long pointed elf ears. The are pierced, and she wears a pair of dark purple gauges. She has a silver tribal tattoo on her right arm. It goes from her elbow to almost her fingertips. She has very full lips, high cheekbones, and a very classicly beautiful face. Her eyes are a silver-white color. The color runs in her dad's side of the family. She has very long and black eyelashes. She tends to wear some makeup. Her go to's are a smokie eye and a dark red lip. She has long curly hair. It is a metallic pink color that seems to shine. Her hair is very poofy. It seems to shine in any type of lighting.
Clothing: She tends to wear a black tank top, dark red flannel, and dark blue skinny jeans. Her choice of shoe is a pair of dark red heels. They are about four inches high. She also wears a black choker, and a necklace that comes almost to the middle of her chest, it has a dark purple gem on the end of it.
Personality: She is very outgoing. She lookes very sophisticated but in reality she is very much someone who would rather dance around and be outside. She hates being judged on her looks. She is very competitive when she wants to be.

Hometown: His birth family lived in White Forest, Unova. His adoptive family has homes in many regions, including Kanto.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Looks: Connor is a 5'10" lanky teenage human who dyed his shoulder-length, straight hair pitch black. He seems to have an aversion to the sunlight, as his skin is almost sickly pale. The eyes under his red contact lenses are bright blue.
Clothing: Band graphic tees and black skinny jeans for casual wear. He can seen wearing white foundation and black eyeliner. If he puts a little more effort into it, he'll start wearing obsolete overseas-style military coats and other outfits you could find at a Halloween store.
Personality: Connor is the kind of cool guy who'll hook you up with the latest indie darkwave band's new tracks. When someone asks a bunch of questions about his perfect older sister, he wants to change the subject to something else.
RP Role: Not sure? Hoping for main group.
Goal: Because everyone else in his family uses Psychic types, he wants to stand out and use Dark types instead. His goal of being a Dark type specialist is second to his goal of discovering himself and what he's good at doing.

Connor was born to a strange family in Unova. Their unethical practices and immoral beliefs spurred others to take custody of him and his older sister. He was far too young to have remembered any of this, and he couldn't tell you what any of those practices or beliefs were.

His older sister, Addy, had perfect test scores. She could do better than him at school sports, battling... She even managed to go down a water slide better. Their adoptive father liked to tell him that it wasn't a competition, but it totally was and she was winning! He figured, if she was going to use psychic types, like the rest of the family, he should use dark types. One day, he'd amass a full team of his favorite dark types and win, once and for all.

Fast forward a few years later, Addy Sanders grew up to be a big-name actress across the regions. To keep himself from getting recognized as her little brother, Connor had to dye his hair and put colored contacts in his eyes. The makeup, however, has nothing to do with recognition. It just looks spooky.

Looks: Lola has long wavy pale pink hair that goes down to her waist. Her eyes are a warm amber and her cat ears and tail are black with white tips. She stands at 4'8, though she will wear small heels to make her seem taller. She had a rather petite figure and weighs at about 96 lbs.
Clothing: If the event is formal, then Lola likes to wear off the shoulder dresses with a short/mini tulle that end above the knee along with ankle-boots and pieces of jewelry that vary from time to time. If she's dressing casually, then she likes to wear an over-sized hoodie with a gap for her ears, a skirt, tall leggings, and as before ankle-boots to match. She will usually have a backpack to hold all her items in.
Personality: Lola usually keeps to herself and minds her own business, but she will not stand by and watch pokemon be mistreated. To her, her pokemon are like family members and she will only give them away if she feels others can take care of them better.
History: Lola couldn't remember when she seemed to stop growing taller, but she did. She wasn't extremely bothered by it as she found she had good balance, which meant tall heels if she wanted. She never felt the need to though, and continued her life with only little to none teasing caused by her height. In fact, most of her classmates seemed around her height. To her, anybody above 5 feet was huge. Not that it mattered anyway, she didn't care what or who somebody was as long as they didn't abuse their pokemon.

She got her pokemon at the usual age of ten but through a different way. The city in which she lived was connected to a route to the nursery. Ever since she was little, she had always helped out there in whichever way she could sometimes more than others. True, she did acknowledge the fact that the pokemon center did quick heals, but what if you were in the middle of nowhere and there was a hurt pokemon? That's why she always made sure to stock up on potions and other unconventional healing items such as bandages. Not to mention, she was also inspired by how they raised their pokemon for friendship and health rather than fighting and badges. At the age of ten, she got an egg from them as a thank you gift for her help. After walking for what seemed like forever to her, it finally hatched. Surprisingly to everybody, it was a shiny! From then moment on, she only tried harder to save every hurt pokemon she saw, gave most of them away to the daycare, and ended up starting a team along the way.

Fair skinned with beautiful, almost angelic features. Long, straight, platinum blonde, almost silver hair that reaches her hips in length. Her bangs are dyed a light cerulean blue. Large, enchanting light silver-white eyes inherited by her mother. She stands at 5'6", and is thin and elegant. Her mother was an Elf and her father was a human, so she is mixed species. She has long, accentuated pointed ears and light pink V shaped markings under her eyes indicating her specific Elven blood.

Clothing:
Lola wears a grey cropped tank top with black tie up straps and a black dream catcher design with pink and blue watercolor print on the front, and black jean shorts. She wears black lace up sandals with a few small charms and beads along them. Accessories include a simple thin ribbon choker with a similar small dream catcher charm and tied thin ribbon bracelets with charms and beads to match.

Personality:
Lola is confident and determined, while also staying quite formal and respectful. She's very friendly, and values a good friendship. Noble and brave, she is ready to protect the innocent at any moment. She can also be quite stubborn as well, as she is very set in her ways. She also has an heir of authority about her. She holds a heavy burden she isn't ready to share with new friends, but it's something that is constantly on her mind and stressing her out, though she manages to hide it for the most part.

Personality: Wes is typically laid back and easy going, simply laughing at his own misfortunes or insults to him. However, when someone he cares for is troubled or insulted, he will stop at nothing to make things right. He is very intelligent and his greatest asset in battles is his adaptability and creativity to come up with unique techniques.
Appearance: Wes is a bit tall, he is a little on the skinny side but has toned muscle. He may not be the perfect idea of a model guy but is charming in his own way. He has tanned skin, dark brown eyes, and stylishly messy brown hair that is pushed up by a dark blue headband that has heather gray and light blue stripes running horizontally. While he is not stuck up, his clothes show that he comes from money (all of his clothes are designer brands). He wears a loose steel blue Henley shirt with the top two buttons undone, tan linen pants, brown Birkenstock style sandals, an expensive white gold watch, and a black leather necklace with a silver circle charm tucked into his shirt. He has a light tan string bag in which he keeps his trainer ID, Pokédex, pokebox, hammock, pokeballs, potions and berries, a water bottle, and lots of snacks.

Backstory: Wes is the third oldest of four children born to wealthy engineers who work at the Cinnabar Island Laboratory. While he, along with his older siblings, is extremely intelligent and a naturally talented trainer; Wes values making meaningful connections with his Pokémon over just taking the strong ones. He does not seem intelligent at a glance as he can be rather blunt with what he says, and can be considered annoying or clingy. However, both of those traits are rather symptoms of him being extremely caring, wanting to provide for everyone he cares for. He often volunteered to help out the local Gym Leader, Blaine, as he was infatuated with Blaine’s balance of intelligence and close connections with his Pokémon. Wes and Blaine share a father and son type relationship since Wes hung around with Blaine more than his constantly working father, with Blaine constantly critiquing Wes in order to make him both a better trainer and scientist. It is clear Blaine sees potential in Wes, giving him a Growlithe he bred for Wes’s 15th birthday present. When Wes turned 17, Blaine gifted him a Pokédex, pokeballs, and a boat ticket to Pallet Town, claiming it was the best place to start his journey. Wes’s goal is to prove his worth to his elitist family, and, more importantly, Blaine, by becoming a Pokémon Master.

Looks: He stands at 5'8" with a lean and fit build that he sometimes seeks to improve. His skin is often mistaken to be either Pale or Fair as it is somewhere in between, his eyes are a stunning royal Purple and short smooth Silver hair.
Clothing: His attire consists of a royal Purple hoodie with White fur along the hood with a Black bomber jacket worn over it, Blue denim jeans and Black windbreaker shoes.
Personality: Sterling is a kind individual who tries to help others if they need it... slightly more if they're a woman, he cares a lot about Pokemon and wouldn't stand for anyone that would harm them. Despite his kind demeanor, he is rather informal, tends to get sassy to people he doesn't like and can be very cruel when angered.

Ok. So I am going to say this. Fraxure would not be a good pokemon for a beginning trainer. I can understand Axew seeing as it is a first stage pokemon. It would be way to strong for any of the other beginning trainers to take on. Right now everyone has is first stage pokemon. No one else has evolved forms of any of the pokemon they have. I am sorry for being harsher this time around, but I really want everyone to be on the same page. No one else has an evolved form yet. It would be unfair for me to allow you to have one and a Bagon as well. I could understand if it was your only pokemon, but you have two strong dragon types right away. This would give you too much of an advantage in trainer battles, and gyms. What you could do is have fraxure be an Axew, and have a bagon as well. That I can understand since you want to specialise in one type of pokemon.

Looks: Remus has black hair and black ears that resembles a Mightyena. He also has a strip of black hair that goes down his neck to his lower back, where a small tail that resembles a Mightyena is at. He also has sharp teeth and claws and has yellow Mightyena-like eyes. Despite the Pokemon-like qualities, he is very much human, with freckles and tan skin. He is also 5'05" (165 cm) and weighs 140 lbs (64 kg). He also has an underbite due to the large canine teeth.
Clothing: He wears a white tank top and black shorts and he wears sandals. He also may wear either a grey jacket or tie it around his waist. He has many nicks and scratches on his arms and legs due to scuffles with other Wild Pokemon and training his own. He also has a dark grey duffel bag that holds survival equipment, and he has a necklace with canine teeth strung through.
Personality: He acts just like a dog Pokemon, but also acts very human. He is very intelligent despite his looks, yet his other actions from his attention being diverted or when he gets playful ends up making him look comical and strange at best. He is bashful about his ears and tail, but doesn't try to hide them as he is trying get over his social anxiety.

@Merciless Medic, the other thread got to bogged down by people quiting and was moving at a way to slow pace because of one person. It kind of just brought the whole thing down. Yes this is a more modern day version of it. I decided that the 80s journey kind of just brought everyone down.

@Red Gallade, thank you for changing that. Also it would be better in the long run if you do what Iris done and have other pokemon as well. There are not that many dragon pokemon, and a lot of people do like them. Another thing you could do is have the bagon be an egg he received. It is just that dragons are kind of to op for someone to have that is just starting out.

However, I understand that people wouldn't like to have multiples of the same Pokemon. What I'm going to do is strikethrough the Pokemon that I will not be able to get or that Remus will get but transfer them to his home in Hoenn to better take care of them. I will also underline the ones he already has at the moment.

If anyone wants dibs on a certain Pokemon that is in my list and they don't want repeats, I will make my character not get them or he will get them but transfer them back home so they will have no precedence in the RP.

@PlayfulFox47 if you see any Normal-Types your character would want in her other regional teams, then tell me, and I'll cross them out. :3 The only Normal-Types that are in my list that haven't already been crossed out are Smeargle, Skitty, Delcatty, Glameow, Purugly, and Furfrou.

@Krisseon are you alright with a repeat of Vulpix in our characters' teams? I will not get an Alolan Vulpix since you already have one (or at least make it a more brief Pokemon in appearance before he transfers them back home), but I would like to keep my character's Kantonian Vulpix.

I was aiming for my character to have a full cat team in the end. However, I understand if you don't want us to have repeats. And you were in the original RP. So, I could have her have half a team of cats and half a team of healing pokemon if you'd prefer.

@KeenKitsune I'm fine if I have repeats with other people, but other people may not like that. Like, I don't mind if 5 characters here end up having Growlithe or something, but I remember someone didn't want to have that many Growlithes and they wanted their team to be more unique, which is understandable.

If you want specific cats, then please tell me and I can cross them out :) It's not like he can't catch the cat Pokemon, they just won't be a thing in the RP at all.

Since you will be wanting a full team of cat Pokemon, I will ask that you leave at least one or two cat Pokemon for me for my own team, as well. Since there is nothing stopping your character from catching a cat Pokemon and then sending it home for whatever reason, then we can still catch the Pokemon we want without having so many other people have the same Pokemon that are currently active in the RP.

Sinnoh: Shinx, Luxio, Luxray, Glameow, Purugly
Unova: Purrloin, Liepard

Here are the cat Pokemon. Shinx has been taken by Mango currently, but if they are alright with you having one later, then you can have that one on your team, as well. And I know you already have Meowth, Litleo, and Espurr, but I just want to make sure you know what you would be getting later. :3 Call dibs on any one of them, and I'll cross them out on my own list.
