Hunter sat in the car with luxio next to her. She was realy excited and nerviuse, but "it will be a good expericence for you" hunter said out laud quoting her moms words. Hunter started thinking about what pokemon camp will be like."ha good thing i dont have to go" her twin said rounsing her out of her thoughts."ha ha" hunter mocked.soon they arived at the pokemon camp. Hunter hurred out with her bag before her twin could say anything and headed to the counsler office.

 

[Zen the Fen]

Partner: Riolu
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Medium long, light brown hair, has a white shirt with the distinct markings of a Litwick on the front (the kind you see like this picture here) with black shorts. He is slightly taller than average, and has red eyes. His bag is a gift from his late grandfather, and is a plain brown, and looks like that of a researchers/explorers satchel.
Traits: He is kind, and caring, and sometimes clumsy. He has a great sense of humor, though. He finds fighting-type Pokemon fascinating.

Once the boy and his Pokemon, Riolu, hopped out of the car, and said their goodbyes, and watched as their mother drove away for the summer, they looked back at the camp, which looked more exciting than what the pamphlet depicted, making the two more eager to start. Zen pulled out the map, and pamphlet. "Hmm...alright, Ryu! It says here that we have to go to the Counselor's office so that we can get situated. You ready?" He told the Riolu, sounding pumped for a fun-filled summer. "Rio!" Ryu cheerfully replied with a smile on his face nearly as great as Zen's. "Alright, then. Let's go!!" He shouted, running off towards the Counselor's office with Ryu by his side.

That is, before they got stopped by a staff member. "Whoa, whoa, hold it!" The authority figure ordered. "Now, I know you're both very excited for camp this year, and I can tell you're new, and may not know all the rules here, so I'm going to cut you two some slack." He said calmly, but firmly. "You see, while there are many fun, and exciting activities to do here, that doesn't mean that you can run." Zen frowned in embarrassment, and Ryu made a face as if to say "Ohh, so that's what this is about."

"That's one of the biggest rules here. No running. Again, since you're both new here, I'll let you off with a little warning. But next time I catch you running unless otherwise allowed, I won't go so easy on you. I won't ask if you understand me, because I'm sure you do." He told them, glaring down at them with a dark energy filling the atmosphere, all of which disappeared just as fast as it appeared. "Now, all strictness aside, are you two ready for a summer full of fun?" The staff member asked them, suddenly cheerfully. Zen shook the depressed look off his face, and a smile took its place. "Yeah we are!!" Zen answered for the both of them, with Ryu chiming in afterwards. "Rio!"

"Great! Do you two know where you are headed?" The man asked them. "Yes. It says in the pamphlet that we need to go to the Counselor's office." Zen said, sounding confident. "Right you are! The Counselor's office is right this way, but fair warning, you might want to do something in the meantime. I imagine there will be a long line there. I hope you didn't forget a pastime." Zen's face went blank. He had completely forgotten. He left his PokeGear at his house. Zen's face went white. "I'm going to take that look of guilt and regret as a yes." The man said.

"Look, because it's a nice day today, and I'm feeling generous, I'll lend you one of my books to read. That sound good?" He asked Zen. "Yep, that'll be great!" Zen replied with his smile put back in its space on his face. (Yes, rhyming is now intended. ) "Fantastic." The man said, pulling a book out of his bag, and handing it to Zen. As Zen took the book, he read aloud the title. "The Legend and Stories of Xerneas, and Yveltal." He said, sounding slightly unamused. "Yep. There's a lot of useful info in that book. Who knows? You may need that info one day." The man hinted. "Well, I hope you have a wonderful day!" He said, as he started to walk off. "Oh, you too! Thank you!" Zen shouted after him, before thinking of a question. "Hey, sir! What's your name?!" He tried shouting to him, but he was too far for him to hear Zen.

Zen looked at Ryu, and shrugged, as he then started making his way to the Counselor's office once again, but this time without running. As the two were walking, they noticed that there weren't as many people around. Perhaps they arrived early? Zen walked up to one of the kids making their way to the same place, with Ryu following behind. "Hey, do you know where everyone is? Are we early, or late?" Zen asked the kid, who seemed to be a girl.

(OOC: I imagine the staff member who approached Zen and Ryu sounding like the principal from iCarly, and Jimmy Neutron, but you can think otherwise. xD)

Hunter looked over to the boy."well-" she started before her luxio and up and started to try and play with riolu."luxio!" Hunter yelled as luxio started circling the riolu." Sorry about him" she said as luxio came and stood by her side."but th answer your queston i beleive we are early."

 

[Zen the Fen]

As the girl was about to answer Zen's question, her Luxio started to circle Ryu, seeming to want to play. The sound of its trainer calling it back resulted in the Luxio returning to her side, with an apology coming afterwards. "No, it's okay. I'm sure Ryu would have wanted to play too, right?" Zen looked down at Ryu, asking him. Ryu crossed his arms, and looked away. "Ri!"

Zen glared down at Ryu quite menacingly, and Ryu suddenly had a change of mind. "Rio Rio!" He said (sarcastically) happily. Zen looked back over at the girl. "Sorry, he can be a bit stubborn at times." He whispered to her. He then felt a jab to his leg, and flinched in pain. Zen didn't look back because he didn't want to see the face Ryu was making, but he did hear a chuckle come from him. "See? What'd I tell ya?" He told the girl, regretting his choice of words, and bracing for impact, when nothing happened. He looked back, and just saw Ryu pouting. "Oh, get over it! It's true, and you know it." He told Ryu. Ryu simply mumbled something under his breath. Zen refused to respond to that as he didn't want to make a scene.

When the girl had answered his previously asked question with "early", Zen sighed. "Okay, good. That gives us time to put our things away." He said, relieved.

Hunter noded and headed tword the counselers offace with the boy and his pokemon."say i never realy got your name yet, what your name mine is hunter." Hunter said while they walked.

As the girl continued on her way towards the Counselor's office, the same place that Zen and Ryu were off to, she asked him what his name was, along with telling him her own name. "Oh, sorry. My name is Zen. Nice to meet you, Hunter." He told her. Zen then got to wondering. Why does a girl have a boy name? Did her parents expect a boy, or something? That thought stuck in his head for quite a while until they got to the Counselor's office. Upon walking in the building, there was a line, but surprisingly, it wasn't long. It was actually moderately short. There were about 5-6 other people in the line, some big, some small.

Kat came out from her hiding place with Dratini on her shoulder, and saw the two people talking. She took off her hood and looked funny at them. They'll most likely have a good time here,she thought. Not much people came to this camp, and her mother always wanted her to be here from the day she was 5.
Dratini crawled off her back and slithered out of the bush, knocking a bunch of drawings on the dirt. "Dratini!" She yelled to her partner, "those took forever to make!" She picked up her dirty work and headed toward the office where the others were. The short line was no surprise, since her brother, who went here last year, told her that she shouldn't expect to big of a crowd.

Hunter waited in line and watched her luxio run through the trees, but soon they got inside. "Hellow and welcome to kalos how may i help you?" The counsler said. Hunter smiled and replied that she is new and needs a cabin."whats your name then?" The counsler replied pulling out a clip board."my name is hunter and my partner is luxio" as hunter said his name, luxio came running up beside her."i am sorry but-" the counseler started."my name IS hunter and yes is a boy name" Hunter said angerly at the counsler befor he could finish and luxio groweled to agrea with her."fine then"the counsler replied."your cabin is cabin 6." He replied as he handed hunter her cabin key.

Appearance: Black cloak with hood loves to challenge people to battles. Hood is on head most of the time.
(I have a moltres named Magma, but I left it with Professor Oak. Won the Kalos Leage)

As I fly over the forest I see a summer camp and I decide to register because why not. As I dismount Soot, Soot takes off and I look down, still caught on Soot's harness, tons of diglet appear below me. I throw a pokeball at one and catch it. Charizard uses flame thrower at the diglet and they all use dig and leave. I pick up my pokeball I and bring out diglett it starts evolving. I bring out my pokedex to see what Dexter says about Dugtrio knows the moves Earthquake, Rock Slide, Sludge Bomb, and Hidden Power [Bug]. Well, Dugtrio return, and Soot, return for now. Now I'm going to go register. Hello I'm here to register for summer camp. "Hello, whats your name" said the staff member. "I'm Kaya." I said. Then she responded, "YOUR THE ONE WHO WON THE KALOS LEAGE WITH SOOT AND MOLTRES!!!" "Yes, and it's Magma not Moltres." I told her, "Now clam down and can I have a cabin." "Of course, number 5 on the left. CAN I SEE SOOT AND MAGMA!" "Sure but I don't have Magma with me." As I was bringing out Soot I asked what her name was and she replied Jenna. "Alright Soot come out, ok now I'll be unpacking my bag. Come on Soot." When I got to the cabin it was dark and I saw a cabin light next to me on I decided to visit them tomorrow.

Appearance: Shoulder length black hair with a white streak, gray eyes, is currently wearing a grey T-shirt and denim shorts.
Traits: Friendly, cheerful, curious, can be random at times, quite good at training pokemon, and can do telepathy and possess people. Is mute.

"Okay, Calix, you can come out now."
Calix, a Glaceon looked super excited at being let out. Kayenne couldn't blame her, because which pokemon wouldn't be? That said, they were in camp, after she had spent five days pleading with her mom. Kai had even went inside her mind to find out how to convince her. And she had won!! Internal victory screech!
"Cal, we're at summer camp! Isn't this awesome?!"
Along with being able to speak to humans in their minds, Kayenne could also communicate with pokemon. Pretty cool ability.
"Does this camp of yours have air conditioning?"
"Probably, but if it doesn't, I'll let you stay in the pókeball. Or maybe in a fridge."
"Nice."
They walked all the way to someone who looked like a counselor.
"Um, hi."
"Hello! What's your name? Did you register?"
"My name is Kayenne, Kai for short, this is Cal, and yes, I registered."
"Okay. Here's your key. Take cabin 8."
"Thanks!"
She got Calix onto the trunk and lugged it towards her cabin.

Appearance: A tall, slender boy. Golden-Brown hair and sky blue eyes.
Traits: Friendly, Kind, A bit selfish at times, slow to anger and quick to forgive

Alex headed to the councillor's office to get checked in. "I am here to get checked in" he said confidently to a man in a black suit "My name is Alex Whitman"
"alright" said the Man "but I'm a security guard, not the councillor, he is over there" the guard pointed to a man who was greeting a group of other trainers
"Oops" he said as his cheeks went red. He went to the back of the line and eventually got to the front. I am here to get checked in" he said , a little less confidently this time, to the councillor "My name is Alex Whitman"
"Ah yes Alex" Replied the councillor "I see you registered online already. Come this way, i'll get you a room"

Darren walked into the Training Camp with a rucksack on his back and he looked at his pokeball with Frogadier in it. "This is going to be fun." He said.

Hunter sat at the camp bed with her light still on reading. Luxio was already asleep on the bed, but hunter still wanted to read. She was realy excited to see the camp tomaro. She sighed and continued to read her book. Hunter looked over to the other bed in the cambin where luxio was sleeping. She knew she had a rommie but want shure who. Hunter looked out her window just to see the last rays of todays sun start to fall.

 

[Zen the Fen]

Zen and Ryu were right behind Hunter and her Luxio in the line. Once she was given her cabin number, she continued into the camp, and Zen and Ryu walked up to the Counselor. "And you are?" The Counselor asked them. "Oh, it's Zen." Zen told the Counselor. "Zen, Zen..." The Counselor murmured to himself as he looked through the roster, trying to find his name. "Ah, yes. There you are. And you are with "Ryu", correct?" He asked Zen. "Yes, that is true." Zen replied, with Ryu chiming in happily afterwards. "Rio!" The Counselor simply chuckled at how cute the Riolu looked, but he didn't say anything of it, as he thought it would offend Ryu. "You two are in Cabin 6." He told them. What a coincidence. Cabin 6 was the same cabin that Hunter was sent to. "Alrighty. Thank you!" Zen said to the Counselor as he walked past. "No problem." He said back, writing something down on a sheet of paper.

Once he got to the cabin area, he started walking past cabin after cabin, trying to find his cabin. Once he did, he said it aloud. "Ah, here we are! Cabin 6." Zen said, relieved. "Finally, I can get a chance to rest my feet. How about you, Ryu? You tired at all?" He said to Ryu as he looked back. Ryu yawned as he mentioned being tired, then shouted a bit angrily at Zen for making him yawn. "Heh, I'll take it you're not tired." He said to him, afterwards yawning, since Ryu had practically passed it on. "Dang it, Ryu! You made me yawn!" He shot at him, laughing. Ryu tried to hide back a smile because he was trying to be angry, but it peeked anyway.

Zen was about to open the door before he stopped, and almost turned blood red. He nearly forgot to knock. Hunter could be getting undressed in there! He shook that thought from his head, and knocked on the door. "Hey, Hunter. Are you...decent in there?" Zen asked her, mentally facepalming himself for his choice of words.

Hunter looked up from her book and called luxio to come lay on her bed"yes." She said trying to hide her laughter. The cabins all have two bathrooms as she knew this but apparently zen didn't.

 

[Zen the Fen]

Chuckling a bit, Zen walked inside, with Ryu following behind. "Say 'Hello' to your new roommate!" He said, ever so slightly nonchalantly. "Isn't it convenient that we just met not long ago, and we're already sharing a cabin?" He said, while Ryu ran and jumped onto his bed. Zen followed Ryu over to his bed, and put his stuff down beside it. "I've heard lots of good things about cabins. I can't wait to see if they're true!" Zen said, excitedly.

 

[Pokemon Ranger Kip]

"Morning Soot" I said, Soot was already awake and playing with my pokeballs."I guess I overslept. Well let's get a move on its I look at my watch its almost lunch and can I have those back." I take my pokeballs back and start going to the cafeteria.

Hunter smiled and replied "yea i heard a lot of good things about it, like the fach we bothe have our own bathrooms." She teased as she set her book down.

Then I remember that I was going to talk to the person in cabin 6 "Soot remember were going to cabin 6"

Hunter looked at the door as luxio ran tword it. She guess it was a new person because her luxio only runs tword the door for new people."come in" hunter called.

"Nice to meet you kaya" hunter said as she called her luxio to stop circling the trainer. "My name is hunter and he is"she replied pointing over to zen and his riolu."zen and his riolu". Hunter looked at the boy again he looked familiar.

"Hello Hunder, hello Zen. This is Soot my Charizard." Kaya says as Soot walks in.

 

[Zen the Fen]

(OOC: @Leaftag, not to be rude or anything, but um...could you consider taking a spelling class of some sort? I'm sorry, but it's just driving me nuts. xD)

As Zen and Ryu were laying on their bed and relaxing, they heard a knock at the door. Before Zen had a chance to move, Hunter had already gotten up to get it. When she opened the door, a girl walks in who said her name was Kaya. They introduced themselves to each other, and Hunter even went through the trouble of introducing Zen and Ryu to her as well. Zen simply smiled and waved, and got back to reading the book the mysterious man gave him earlier, when Ryu suddenly ran off outside. Zen figured he needed to use up some energy, or he just wanted to meet other Pokemon. Ryu wasn't usually the one to want to go out and do such a thing, but Zen didn't think anything of it.

When Ryu returned, he jumped back up onto the bed, and placed something beside Zen. When Zen looked over at it, his eyes widened. It was his PokeGear! Apparently, Ryu had felt the aura of their mother returning from their house with his PokeGear, and he ran over to her to retrieve it. Then, Ryu closed his eyes, and focused hard on Zen. Zen started to zone out. After a few seconds, Zen came to, and smiled. "Thank you, Ryu." He said, hugging him. Ryu had used the power of aura to communicate with Zen. It wasn't perfect, however, as he could only do it for a few seconds at a time. Zen picked up his PokeGear, and put it around his wrist.

"Well" said Kaya "what do you guys want to do? Do have a battle?"

 

[Zen the Fen]

(I'm thinking about blue, but I also wanna go with the traditional red. I don't know...eh, screw it. Red. XD)

Zen looked up from his book at them, his eyes filled with excitement. "Ooh, a battle! If I don't get to join, I'd like to at least watch." Zen said before looking at Ryu. "How about it, Ryu? If we do get to battle, would you be up for it?" Zen asked him. Ryu, of course, replied without haste. "Ri!"

"Alright, then. Hopefully, we do." Zen said happily, and full of hope.

"Ok" said the Councillor "you are in cabin four. As Alex was going to his cabin, he heard a commotion in cabin 6. There were three people, a boy and two girls, standing inside. Along with a charazard. They seemed to be preparing for a fight. "This will be good" Alex said to Growlithe "I think the girl is a pokemon League champion"
"Hey" he shouted "come out or you'll blow up the cabin​

Darren walked into the group with the councillor and started talking. "Hi there, I'd like to join the. Kalos Training Camp! Where do I start?"

(Btw I'm changing my OC name to Kira because I keep typing that)

"I'll use Soot, and who will you chose?" Kira

 

[Zen the Fen]

(OOC: Johnson, I think that might have been a typo if you're talking about when rad said "our". He/she (sorry, don't know your gender xD) might have meant "out." Also, @SMRPG64 the only boy in the cabin is Zen, and if he has only a Riolu, then I don't think he'd be the champion. xD then again, you did make your character say he thought...welp. )

Then, Zen heard someone shout from outside to come out, or they'll destroy the cabin. They were probably talking to Zen, and the others. "Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable thing to do. We wouldn't want to get kicked out for the destruction of camp property." Zen said, agreeing with the person from outside. With Ryu following, Zen went outside, and waited for the others to do the same.

Then, a thought came to mind. "Wait!" Zen shouted. "Shouldn't we ask for permission to battle first?" He asked no one in particular.

Kat walked to her cabin after getting her number, which was 7. She glanced around as not many people were there. Great, she thought. Less people to distract me. She got to her desk and began drawing some pictures while Dratini curled up on a tiny bed on top of her bunk. She took the bottom, being scared of heights. Just then a voice came on the loudspeaker.

"We are having lunch at the time, head to the cafeteria. We are serving spaghetti and apples, with the side of peas and carrots," the loudspeaker blurted that all the people could hear.
"Oh gosh Dratini, we need to go!" Kat said as she stopped what she was doing and grabbed Dratini. She sat at the empty table and began working on her latest drawing of a a luxio she saw in camp.

A counselor came to the two people trying to fight, and went into the middle of it. Now kids, if you want to fight, make sure it is fair. We don't want people crying either, so be good you two," he warned them.

Alex watched as the competitors walked out of the cabin. On one side was a girl with a shiny charazard and on the other was a boy(? Don't want to get this wrong again) with a Riolu. While the charazard obviously held the advantage, Alex had firsthand seen seemingly much worse odds play out in a very surprising way

"Yay lunch" Kira yelled "I'm starving" (seriously I'm starving)

"Aww" said Alex "I wanted to see a fight" Alex decided to walk down to the lunch tables when he had a thought. He turned to the councillor "why do you allow boys and girls into the same cabin?" He asked. This left the councillor speechless and he went on his way to lunch

Kat watched as the hungry kids walked into the lunch room. She crossed her fingers hoping no one would notice her and go somewhere else.

(OOC: Hang on, Zen isn't the one battling. It's Kira and Hunter...I think...yeah, I'm pretty sure...also SMRPG I think the explanation would be that it's a chance to make a friend with the opposite gender. Also Vlame, I don't think your character should be withdrawing herself like this. Then again, it's your character. I'm not one to tell you what to do.)

"Okay, I have an idea." Zen said to everyone wanting to battle, and those who wanted to watch. "How about we go eat first, so that we have the energy to eat, because I don't know about you all, but I'm starving." Zen laughed a bit as his stomach growled. "Welp, I'm off to eat. Follow me if you want!" Zen shouted, running off to the cafeteria with Ryu beside him.
