Hi there everyone! This is the Discussion page of the possible RP: Pokemon League Tournament. This is a tournament where all members of the Pokemon League from each region come to participate in, whether it be the Champion, Elite Four Member, or Gym Leader. The tournament is held annually in Kiloude City in Kalos, and every year the members train hard to get a spot in the finals, and eventually the championship. The Pokemon League doesn't work like in the games, pretty much everyone is equally powerful.

You, as a character, will be any member of the League that is of your creation, unless you have permission from someone to use one of theirs.

Rules:

1. Follow the normal Pokécharms rules, I'd seriously prefer if this RP didn't get locked
2. No one-liners, the minimum number of sentences is 5, so a paragraph per post
3. Don't control any other person's character, that is a simple rule so please follow it
4. NO Legendaries or Megas of any kind
5. You may only bring 3 Pokemon to the tournament, and a maximum of 3 reserves

Past: Ben actually used to be a trainer, having a very small team that mostly consisted of fighting types as they were extremely common in the Anadon region. He was picked to be the fighting gym leader for Swampden city by the previous Swampden city gym leader who is now old and retired. From the start he was a great gym leader and while he has lost his fair share of battles there is now doubt he is powerful.
Personality: Ben is a confident and positive person with a good heart but can often give off slightly arrogant or ignorant vibes due to his bold nature. He cares for his Pokemon and has a deep bond with them. When he looses he is calm and collected, seeing it as a good thing since it points out where he made mistakes.

Past:Lee grew Up On the Small Region Of Mysterrin. The Region was Known for it's vast amounts of both Psychic Pokemon and Grass Pokemon, But it does have other types. She Was Born to a Mother who was known as the Region's Best Psychic. According to her mother, She could see the "Auras" Of Pokemon and Could tell if they were spiritually Unwell. If so, she would heal them using her psychic powers. Personally to Lee, She believed She was a Fraud but she never told her mother that. Her father was a gras gym leader who hated magic in any shape, way or form that people did. He also believed her mother was a fraud so he divorced her before Lee was Born. Growing Up, She had a Pretty Normal Child Considering that Her mother was crazy psychic and her dad was a gym leader. he would go back and forth between parents but personally she enjoyed staying with her dad more. She loved her mom, but she enjoyed watching her dad beat trainers and she loved to play with his Pokemon. She also got along with him better than her mom. When Lee turned 13, her parents sat her down and asked her if she wanted to permanently live with her mom or her dad. Whichever she Picked, Thats what career she would have. It didn't take long for her to decide to go with her dad. Her mother was sad but she had already secretly choose a Apprentice. A Year later she told her dad she wanted to become a pokemon trainer so she could have her own pokemon. Her father told her she could so she went all over the different regions.
Personality: Lee is a very Sarcastic Person Who ls a Bit of a Pessimist. But In Battle She is optimistic and determined to Beat Anyone who faces her. She is extremely competitive, always loving a good challenge. Outside of battle you can find her drawing, her favorite thing to do besides battle. Often, If you beat her, she will draw you and your pokemon team.

Past: Yuto is known as the green region as it is filled with greenery, but no so with grass pokemon. It is a swamp land and is filled with water pokemon. Kathleen had never been a fan of water-types and her parents were the same, sort off. She grew up on a farm with a twin brother and a older brother. Her fater was a hard working farmer and had always a grass type with him when ever her did work. Her mother went inside for unknown reasons and was well known as a phyco killer. Kathleen hates to be associated with her and she and her entire family blocks her out. Kathleen decited to be a champion since the old one was ruining the economy and started her jurny when she was 12. 4 years later she has successfully became a champion and is currently working on fixing the economy and she thinks that this torment will help with her image whitch may think she is silly and inexperienced because she is young.

Past: The person known as Sticks was abandoned in the forest as an infant, and never knew his true parents. The forest he was abandoned in was known as Foghorn Forest, and was infested with Bug-type Pokemon. During his around four years here, he got to know the Pokemon in Foghorn Forest, acquired his name Sticks, for his fondness of playing with sticks, and built a bond with some of the Pokemon, especially a certain Scyther that he liked to play with. After some time, a man by the name of Professor Aspen was exploring the forest and documenting the many Bug-type Pokemon that inhabited the forest. The professor happened upon Sticks, and took him to his lab. During his time at the professor's lab, Sticks learned the in's and out's of human society, but he always maintained his fondness of Pokemon over people. After this, Sticks returned to Foghorn Forest and found the Scyther that he used to play with. The two became friends once more, and Sticks took the Scyther with him. Not long after this, one of the gym leaders of the region, who happened to specialize in Bug-types, passed away, and his position became open. A competition was held, and Sticks was the victor, becoming the Bug-Type Gym Leader in the region. Since then, he has honed his skills in battling, and became known to some as the "Bug Whisperer," for his ability to understand how his Pokemon are feeling, and such.
Personality: Sort of shy to people, preferring to be around Pokemon more. Will be very serious during battle. Cares deeply for all Pokemon, especially his own.

Past: Slade's Mom died when he was 10 because of a lab accident. His father was a ghost type gym leader. When his father retired Slade tried to take over that role but he lost in the winners finals round of the competition to get the job, so he became a dark type gym leader of a nearby town called Shiven City he can't use his Gengar and Banette that he got from his Dad in formal gym battles but they still watch his battles and cheer him on from the stands.
