Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: What are the differences between the two versions?

After trying to locate a complete list of differences between Time and Darkness... and failing... I've been lead to this. I'm planning to pre-order one copy (because I can) and I highly doubt I'll be buying both, but I still have little idea of what the actual differences are between the two.

So, I'm asking anyone who knows: What are all of the differences between each game? That goes for Pokemon included, plot-wise, if certain locations only appear in a certain version, etc.

Any help is appreciated XD

I can help you there. (I may not be 100% accurate, though. I had to translate this from Japanese.)
These are only in Time: Celebi, Combee (Vespiquen is in Darkness), Pachirisu, Riolu, and Lucario.
These are only in Darkness: Mewtwo, Burmy (Wormadam and Mothim are in Time), Buneary, Lopunny, and Rotom.
Apparently, if you send missions from Time to Darkness or vice versa that will let you obtain said Pokemon, you can get them; that excludes Mewtwo and Celebi.
Plot-wise, I don't think anything's different, and all locations are the same. (If my translations are correct. :p)

Heh. Is that really it? The only differences between the two games are the Pokemon?

I've heard that the legendaries you battle, the ones that team up with you, etc. change depending on which version of the game you're playing. Is that not true as well? I've yet to read it confirmed for myself.

Truthfully, 5 Pokemon really isn't a basis for two games. I theorize some Wonder Mail codes are exclusive to each version, in a similar manner to the original red and blue rescue teams. Besides, I find the distribution of Pokemon to be quite odd. Ekans, Diglett, Gastly, Ditto, Treecko and their evolutions apparently do not have confirmed Wonder Mail codes, so that might be a basis for it.

I pre-ordered mine, and got the guide thing-it. It says not only are some Pokemon version exclusives, but the rarity varies between the games changes. And, oddly, apparently there are version-exclusive items, and some items have varying rarity.

And those Pokemon all appear in event dungeons, RX. I've gone through it already, and it's true. There are Wonder Mail codes for the different event dungeons, and in those are those excluded Pokemon.

Heh. Well, thanks guys XD

I guess I'll just try to find something that details the varying rarity of the Pokemon and just decide that way... or go for the version with Lucario. I still have no clue which to get, but it doesn't sound like it really matters too much.

Also I made a project into finding all the Starters. I think only Skitty and Pikachu are gender exclusive. (Skitty Female, Pikachu Male) I posted the full results in the Pok

I do know that you need some events to be able to recurit (sp) certain Pokemon, mostly some of the legendaries. Some locations change depending on the game you have but otherwise there's little difference aside from the Pokemon available. And I think Munchlax is the male only Pokemon: beforehand Pikachu was either gender.
