Squirtle said and he began showing her were he saw the ghosts. Along the way Devowa was snacking on some berries she bought as a snack, when she saw a strange shadow that did not look right. "I think I see your ghost." Devowa whispered.

"Ghost?" Squirtle turned around. He noticed the creepy shadow. "GAH!" Squirtle was slightly startled, but not too much. He calmed down. "Well, well. Looked like the ghost showed their faces. What now?" Squirtle tried a small water gun, but obviously it failed, because ghosts couldn't be affected by moves like that. "Well, it's not harming anyone."
Ko turned to the new pokemon. "I didn't join for the teamship. I came to fight the corruption. And according to this board, no corruption activities yet." He sighed, turning back to the board. "If you wanna work around with me, I'm game. I myself can take on a decent fight."
"Erm... It was nothing. I was just curious about something," Bastet responded as she turned to Mina.
Guess I touched a nerve? Heh, I doubt it, they didn't seem that frustrated. After some silence, she noticed the paper in Mina's hands. "So? How does this mission thing work anyway?"

James realized there was no-one in the room, minus the Semisear. He chuckled at himself. I am going insane. Either that, or Emily is haunting my soul.
Emily was bored. Why did she have to stay in this dinky little room. She sighed, before running out. She ran to where everyone else was, the message board. "Hi!" She announced to the group of Pokemon huddled around the Mission Board. "What 'ya doing?" She kept pestering them. James would of screamed if he wasn't in the kitchen. Also, the only real way to tell the difference between Emily and James were their voices. But despite being the opposite gender to one another, sounded quite similar. Oh, James would get so mad if he was blamed for what Emily did.

Titus nodded to the Hakamo-o, "I came to fight corruption as well, I won't bore you with why." He hoped that the dragon type could hold his own in a fight, and help him overcome his fear of corrupted Pokemon. They were just lost, dangerous, but deep inside of the ruthless killer of a Pokemon, there lies an honest Pokemon with a life much like his own. The grass type wanted to help, wanted to change things, but didn't think he had the strength to do what is necessary.
"well,I would call this mission somewhat like pest control,we have to clear out someone's home of corrupted pokemon"Mina said answering Bastet's question"we should get going,team moon has already left on a mission, and we can't be falling behind"she said as she put the paper in her bag
Ko looked back into his memories for a second. "I know all about that. Your looking at the one remaining survivor of the mountain clan of the Komo." Ending it like that, his attention turned to the new pokemon who turned up to join them. (Emily) "Um, can we help you?" He asked the child.
Devowa walked up to the ghost without fear. "Hello there, sorry about my friend you startled him." Devowa said to the shadow who she was guessing was a Gengar. "Its alright i'm not going to do anything to you." She said to it. "You could have attack use by not so i'm guessing you mean no harm." Devowa continued but got no response. "Quite spirit type eh, well we will be on are way." She said as she grabbed to scared Squirtle with her tail. After a little bit of slithering she said to the shocked Squirtle. "Don't worry dear, that guy meant no harm, he looked like a really old one that has been their a long time." The Squirtle was still shock she let him go that easily, but for some reason she seem to be an expert so he let it go.

I'll take you home and then you can FINALLY stop annoying me." Emily smiled at James as they walked in the direction of their old home.

"The corruption outbreak has scarred us all it seems," Titus told his new dragon type acquiantence with a sad tone, "Whether physical or psychological, it effects us all, which is why we must find a cure." It was sad that there was no current activity involving corruption so no developments were being made. He knew that things needed to change, and that he needed to be a part of the change, he just didn't know where to start.
"Hey," The seed Pokemon started, before continuing his suggestion, "Why don't we look at the job board?"

"Let's see," The Bulbasaur paused as he looked at the jobs. Finally, he found one that wouldn't be a waste of their time, "I found one, it wants is to escort a Pokemon out of the forest while protecting it from any corrupt Pokemon that we may find." He hoped it was good enough, because it was seemingly the only available job on corrupted Pokemon left.

After a long time of hopping, James and Emily finally made it back to the old home they once loved. They expected no-one to be here, as everyone else ran. James went ahead to spot his oldest brother, Jake,lying there on the floor. He wasn't dead, corrupted, or sleeping. It was a surprise, as he was corrupted when he fought Pangoro that long week ago. Emily noticed the Frogadier too, and both of them both shouted in unison. "JAKE!"
James took control of the situation. "You know how to find berries, mom taught you, right?" Emily nodded. "Go find some nice ones and give them to Jake quickly, I'm going to go back and get help." Ko shrugged. Best one so far. "Why not, let's take it." The Hakamo-o snatched the note off the board. Looking over it, he noticed a fault. He couldn't read the handwriting in the note. Ko handed it to the Bulbasaur. "Can you read this?"
Bastet shrugged, seeing there was no way to manipulate the situation to get out. "If you say so, whenever you're ready, Mina."
She finished her breakfast quickly before getting up.
"I'll need to get my equipment first. Be back in a few," the feline left the kitchen. She walked down the hallway later arriving at her team quarters and searching the room for her stuff.

Kit nodded when Mina mentioned that they had a mission to be done. He gobbled down the rest of the cooked honey-glazed Oran berries and gave the cook, a Simisear a quick thanks with a nod as he got up. "I'm ready to go when you are!" Kit said. He lowered his arm and felt the bag that he had. It was fully stocked with more of his honey-glazed oran berries in case the team got hungry during the expedition as well as three max elixers in case he or anyone was getting worn out.
This was it, his first adventure since joining a team! Kit hoped that he would be able to help out the best he can. After all, he packed plenty of supplies for the expedition. Granted, maybe he packed a little too much in terms of rations, but they can't be too careful, right?

"ok, Bastet should be able to catch up, let's go!"she yelled happily as she climbed up the ladder to the entrance of the guild, she than looked at the note to find the location,the house was located near the woods,she put the note away again and began to walk in the direction to the clients home

Kit nodded as he followed Mina out of the guild hall. He was somewhat hoping that Bastet would be able to catch up quickly, but he knew that he couldn't let Mina go alone. It was a dangerous world out there before the corruption began. Now with the corruption, it's practically suicidal to go out alone.
"So, if I understand correctly, our mission this time is to defeat a group of Pokemon that are affected by the corruption, correct?" Kit asked. He wanted to be certain on what they were supposed to do. He also knew that if it was like other expeditions that he heard about, it's likely going to be a tough quest to do, but he's certain that with his power combined with Minas and Bastet, they'd be able to overcome anything thats thrown at them.

Mina nodded at kit to answer his question, after a while of walking they made it to their destination"ok,the client should be somewhere aro-"she was cut off when a grumpig yelled at them"you must be the guild members that answered my request,now get those pokemon out of my house!!" He yelled at Mina and kit"he's could be a little nicer, but I guess we have to do it anyway, you ready" Mina mumbled to Kit

James started to really freak out. No-one but Devowa had noticed him. He feared that his brother could be dying. "Hello! Anyone?" He started to tear up. "My b-b-brother is...." James couldn't see anyone else in the guild building. "No one except Devowa even cares..." James rushed back home. Emily was feeding Jake oran berries.
"I-I-I c-couldn't f-find anyone..." James collapsed in sadness in anger. Well, there was one good thing. Emily wasn't being annoying at all. "H-h-ow c-come? A-aren't t-there l-lots of Pokemon at the guild Pokemon..." James didn't know how to answer.
Suddenly coughing. James and Emily turned to each other, and then Jake. Jake was the one coughing, and his eyes opened. He could barely speak, but he managed to put out a simple "thanks..." James and Emily quickly hugged Jake. It seemed that recovering from corruption was possible, but took a great toll. James would have to ask Jakes later about what happened.
"Keep Jake safe, Emily." James told her. "I have a team to be a part of. I will be back in the future. I love you, sister." James hugged her sister goodbye, and started for the guildhall.

Once they arrived at the hospital, Devowa help the two little ones carry Jake into his bed. "We need a medic!." Devowa yelled to get her attention, which worked and the meowstic entered, she quickly came over most likely recognizing the Corruption. Devowa hopes to Arceus that Jake will come though alright, she could not bare to see another get taken be this evil thing.

"Thanks, Devowa." James responded. "I sure hope that he'll be okay." James felt much better knowing that Jake's life wasn't in complete danger. And, being able to interview someone who was corrupted would certainly help with researching a cure. "We better get back to the Guildhall now." James started off for the guild building.
Devowa stayed for a few minutes to watch Jake, just to be sure he was not going to change back to being corrupted or something. After that she headed back to the guild. Now that all of that was finally over she could think about lunch, breakfast did not stick with her. Devowa thought she better check on the guild first, but after seeing there was no problems she left to head back to that restaurant she went to yesterday.
Once she got there she ate a ridiculous amount of food anything from berry pies to strange things from another country. After a lot of munching, slurping and one large burp at the end Devowa was finally full, she looked up and realized she had been here for a while. "The Guild is not going to be happy." She thought as she quickly payed and left. Once she arrived it looked like no one even knew she was gone, she breathed a sigh of relief.

(Geez you sleep for about 6 hours and all of this happens) Titus studied the note, it looked sloppy but he was able to make it out, "It says, 'Please escort my cousin through the forest to the village without getting her injured or corrupted and I will reward you with 5000 Pokè'" Now he really wanted to go, not only was it a job on corruption, but it also payed a decent amount of Pokè, which was an added bonus.

That was a hectic day! James felt extremely tired after all of that. I'm going to take a nap... James hopped towards his team room and hopped onto his bed. He closed his eyes, and suddenly thoughts started rushing to his head. How could you even forget! Oh right, it was James's birthday in two days. That made him sad again, as he couldn't celebrate it with his family. No, no, no, no, no, no, I can't be sad over- James started crying again.
Kit nodded at Mina, even if he was slightly annoyed at how rude their client is. "Yeah, I'm ready" he said. He knew that respect needed to be earned, but the client could at least try to be a little nicer. After all, it was better that they came late than never at all. If it wasn't for the fact that he was a nice guy in general and he was part of the team, he would have left the client to deal with the mess himself. But he wasn't that cruel...

Not this again.... James realized he was crying because of a tiny thing and stopped crying as Devowa came in. He tried to cheer himself up. "Nothing, I'm fine now." James mumbled, all though he knew Devowa wouldn't believe him at all. He had noticed that he was a lot sadder despite just saving two of his family members. He started to think it was something wrong with him. Like his brain wasn't functioning correctly. He also noticed his thoughts going crazy sometimes. What is up with me? "I'm fine, thanks for asking." James stopped feeling sad somehow.

Lara woke up and found herself laying on the clinic's bed. A female meowstic appeared on her sight and checked her forehead. "Seems good." she murmured to herself.
"Uh, what happened?" Lara asked in confusion. Her head felt dizzy. The medic crossed her hands and make a ln angry expression.
"You got frozen solid after eating a lot of ice cream."
"I what?!"
"Apparently you ignore the announcement and order more ice cream in that restaurant, then you suddenly stopped moving."
"Ahh... Sorry for the trouble. Hehehe,"
"Don't hehe me. You should take care of yourself. I heard you want to make a rescue team, right? It will be too bad if the team leader do stupid things and injure herself."

Right before she fell asleep, her mind drifted to her home where the Plague is probably getting close to by now. "I hope we can find some sort of a cure soon, for James and for my home." Were the last things she thought before falling asleep.

James started to drift asleep too, his thoughts calmed and slowed, and he slowly drifted asleep. Surprisingly, he was also thinking about the cure. If they could find some sort of cure, the corruption could be eradicated, and no-one could suffer like James did! That made James happy. He was now fighting for a purpose. He smiled as he fell asleep.
"I'm OK with an escort mission. Actually, I think it is good for a warm up. Before we are forced to fight the corrupteds or harder mission." Lara expressed her approval of the mission.
Bastet gathered her stuff and immediately left the guild building. She noticed that Kit and Mina were already going ahead. As soon as she got out, a sudden realization hit her: she didn't really know where she was going.
"Well, karp," she mumbled, "I hope they didn't travel too far..." She continued to walk out of the guild, still uncertain of where to go.
