"Hello" he tried to speak, but his head just felt worse. He instead ended up saying a mixture of 'Ow', 'Stop', and garbled words. Oliver never felt a headache before. It was like an ice cream headache x100. Oliver might of been hit in the head, not the back. He wanted to die because of the headache.

Mirage looked at Oliver with sympathy. She walked over to him and asked Jett what was going on. She looked back at Oliver and blushed a bit.

Oliver tried to respond but couldn't. He couldn't remember anything. He blacked out, and fainted again.

"He was hit by a bunch of rocks on the head apparently and I had to fly him here." Jett explained. "Apparently he needs a different kind of medicine." He said as Oliver fainted again. "Okay here, have a perism berry." Jett said as he handed it to Oliver. "It cures confusion, and it seems that's what you have right now." Jett said.

He tried to eat it, but blacked out again. He kept waking up, and then blacking out. His body was unstable. He needed medical assistance as fast as possible. This is more than just a few berries and herbs can cure. This might affect him, even after Oliver is cured... He woke up, but this time couldn't speak. He tried to, but couldn't make a sound. He started to cry again...

"Chansey!" Jett yelled out to get her attention. "Where can I find the nearest cave spring?" Jett asked her.

"Why?" She asked.

"Just answer the question!" He said.

"Down the road from here there's a cave that leads downwards towards a spring." She said.

"Thanks, Oliver, I'll be right back I swear, Max congrats you're going on your first adventure, Mirage take care of Oliver while I'm gone!" Jett said as he picked up Max and at jet speeds flew towards the cave.

Mirage looked at Jett and nodded. She turned to see Oliver crying. "Oliver....please don't cry...I-I want to help you but..." Mirage's voice became more quiet as she continued. Mirage laid her head next to Oliver and blushed, hoping to comfort him.

Oliver was comforted, but he couldn't talk, and his headache raged on. He still cried, but cried less. He turned to mirage and blushed. A teardrop rolled down his face, and onto his Scalchop. He stopped crying, and put his tiny little feet, into the water, and looked at the remains of the cave.

max was scared he was flying, he was thinking about To release its stench but he remember That he is with someone, so he kept quiet waiting to get back on the ground and be able to help jett get what he needed for oliver.....

Mirage looked at Oliver and noticed that he wasn't crying anymore. She smiled at him, sadly but still lied down next to him. "You'll be all right Oliver...I just know it..." She said, sleepy.

Jett and Max managed to get to the cave and Jett put him down. "Alright listen, we came to get spring water for Oliver, legend says that the spring water here has been blessed by the lake guardians and if one drinks they will be healed. You can take any thing that looks of value and be careful of wild pokemon stick close to me and we'll battle together, but for now the main focus is the spring water. Got it, lets go." Jett said.

Oliver was tired, and his headache calmed down. He still couldn't talk, but he was also tired, so he fell asleep, with his feet in the water.

Mirage felt Oliver go to sleep so she went to sleep, still blushing. She lied her head on his head so she could see if his headache had died. It did but it was more comfortable to sleep next to someone so she left her head on top of his.

Roy rumbled through a nearby fruit bush that harvested odd, black-colored "strawberries" outside a vast cave and squealed in pleasure when the berries broke from their leaves and entered his stained mouth. Black liquid oozed from his mouth and formed mini pools. Roy then jumped, startled from a splash. Jokingly, he asked: "Is anybody in there!" it echoed and he laughed before focusing back on his fruit bush.

Oliver saw Roy, and tried to point it out. But he can't talk, so he fell asleep.

Jett and Max managed to get to the spring and a few gems and valuables along the way and Jett quickly flew back to oliver. "Hey! Drink this, buddy!" Jett yelled as he gave oliver the spring water.

Oliver drank the water. His headache subsided, but he still couldn't talk. He tried to wave that a Nidoran was stalking them, but he failed at communicating. He started to cry again. It seemed like he wouldn't be able to talk again.

Roy glared at the entrance of the cave and, per his lack of eyesight, used his ears to identify possible bodies instead. Roy's ears then perked before he started to wobble toward the cave. "I have faith in you, ears," He murmured to himself. "Don't fail me now."

Oliver started to feel ill again. He splashed in the water to try and cheer up, but he couldn't hear anything. His ears started to hurt. Oliver tried to say something, but he couldn't say or hear anything. He tripped over, and started to cry. Because his life was being taken away.

Poor Oliver.

Mirage looked at Oliver, her crush, and followed him. "Be brave...please..." She said. She didn't want Oliver to suffer anymore.

Of course Oshawott couldn't hear, so he just nodded, and fell asleep.

"Max, Mirage, cover your ears." Jett said as he walked over to oliver. "He can't hear right?" He asked them. "Becuase I ahve an idea.

"Yeah...Oliver can't hear...we need to see what help. What's your idea?" She asked. Mirage looked at Oliver desperately and blushed.

"Cover your ears, if he can't hear and I screech then maybe I can knock the sound back into his head, I don't know, reverse psychology." Jett explained

Oliver can only see their mouths moving. He wonders what they're saying. That makes him more sad. He's never had to live like this before. He looks away starts to cry a little bit.

Roy, now at the very entrance of the cave, sniffed at the nearby ground and huffed. "Oh? No traps?" He entered the cave, still proceeding with caution. "Just make it easier, then!" Roy began to fasten his pace to a run. He laughed strangely and loudly, perhaps a bit too loud.

Mirage realized what Jett was going to do. "Boomburst?" She asked, covering one ear. Mirage looked back at Oliver. She walked over to him and nudged him affectionately.

Mirage hugged Oliver, and that made him feel a little better, but he was still crying. How was going to communicate now? He wished they would take him to see what was wrong, but he couldn't communicate. He hoped. He dreamt. He put his tiny foot in the water. At least he could still feel. He felt that they loved him. That's what mattered most to him. That even though he was becoming more and more disabled, that they would stick with him. He stopped crying, and hoped that he would be better. After all, there was nothing he could do.

Jett made sure everyone was covering their ears and let out a loud screech known as Boom burst. After he was done he told Mirage to uncover her ears. "Oliver, you hear me?" He asked.

Oliver still couldn't hear. He didn't even notice the Boom burst. His ears just hurt. He thought that was just connected to everything else he was experiencing. He started to cry and stare off at the cave. He swore he saw that Nidoran again.

Common sense: Oliver's attentiveness to sounds is gone. It's replaced with "Often lost in thought"

Roy looked around, annoyed. His eyes then widened as he realized how he could be lost, for he had forgotten the route he came in already. Despite this, Roy tottered further before hearing a wicked yowl, he immediately covered his ears and let out a painful screech of his own. "Wha-" the noise then suddenly diminished and Roy rose back to his feet, pondering whether he should stay. He decided to check one more time: "Anybody in here~!?" it echoed.

Oliver started trembling, he felt really cold. Night was approaching, and he felt scared. He suddenly ran off to go find a place to sleep for the night. He forgot about his friends, because he was getting really cold.

"Huh?" Jett asked himself when he realized it. "He's cold!" Jett said handing him his handkerchief again. "There."

Oliver felt better. But he was still scared. He didn't know why, but he was still scared, and still cold.
"Oh no..." he thought to him self. "I must be getting sick, or something. If only I could explain to my friends." He felt his eyelids close, and he started to snooze. He got so worked up by the cold, and his condition, that he was seriously tired. "Please" he thought to himself. "Acues, let this be over. For my sake."

Zorua found a piece of paper and found some mud. She put her paw in the mud and wrote on the paper, "we could try this." At least they would still be able to communicate but with words.

Oliver woke up and saw the paper. He was too tired to make out the words, and fell asleep. He was crying and sleeping at the same time. He just wished to be normal like he was before.

Wally is hiding behind a tree as he sees what is going on. He wants to help, but he doesn't know if he could make the situation worse by startling the Oshawott.
