I don't think that the whole thing needs properly transplanted this time as I have no intention of shutting the YaBB down. Only admins there can see that link BTW, just in case anyone was reading this going "WTF!?"
Here, however are the last three posts, just to make sure we all get back into the flow:
It's probably my turn or something, it always is when it ends up stopping dead for weeks at a time. If it is, i'll post soon. I promise.

Here, however are the last three posts, just to make sure we all get back into the flow:
Raab first set about helping the kids fix the desks, he felt a little responsible for them being moved in the first place and decided he should help them go off for their break as soon as possible.
When he'd finished he joined Katie and Raiden over by the books, the plush bean bags and kids-paintings of Pokemon providing a nice haven for them to sit and read in.
He petted Raiden on the head with a smile before standing next to Katie and looking over the bookshelf with her.
"It's strange... Thanks to my dad i already knew a fair bit about Pokemon training." He started suddenly, not even looking to Katie to check if she was listening.
"But what i've already done... it's not something i'd ever have imagined." He glossed over the spines of the books as he spoke, not really taking in the names of the books.
"I certainly didn't imagine that i'd meet you or Gad and end up travelling around Hoenn with you." He smiled, giving a second to think of what it would have been like if he wasn't journeying with his new friends.
"There's so much to learn though..." He said, finally picking a book from the shelf entitled "Pokemon Evolutions" and skipping through the pages, noticing the weird and unusual way that some Pokemon evolved.
Then he looked up, memory stinging in the back of his eyes just like the heat of the flames that licked his back in his dream.
"... My father died because he wanted to learn more about Pokemon..." He said, his eyes looking in Katie's direction but not focusing on her.
"I guess the only real difference that we have is that he was alone on his journey..." His eyes finally focused on Katie, glancing down at Raiden too. He smiled again and shook the bad memories away.
"Blah, I'm being silly." He said with an insincere chuckle and placed the book back on the shelf. The next book he picked out was one on Hoenn Pokemon, he seemed to have picked it out randomly but it occured more to Raab that it had handed itself over to him. -Now i AM being silly...- He thought to himself before handing Katie the book.
"I think i'll just sit down and read one of the books over there." He said before walking over to the beanbags and picking up the book sitting next to the one he flumped into. "Heh," He started as he read the cover.
"It's a story-book." He said with a smile as he opened it up. "That one with the four boys that walk down the railroad track at the end." He smiled, remembering the movie that had been made of it and shown on TV once. "They were a group of friends who started off a Pokemon journey together too..." He didn't have the will to read the whole book, instead he flicked straight to the last chapter and began to read it.
Yuurin was leaping like mad, avoiding the blasts of flame, but still keeping track of the Dracorona in the sky above him. Naien swooped from the sky, launching another burst of flame. Yuurin jumped off the ground and somersaulted to a nearby branch, evading the flamethrowers. He knew that the Dragoness was holding back - this was just training, after all - but he, for one, intended to give it all he had.
Leaping into the air, he focused, rememberring what Naien told him. He focused on that ancient, hidden strength - channelling it not through uncontrolled rage but through controlled, focused determination.
he searched his mind, homing in on that hidden core of power and locking on to it. Letting it expand. Letting it fill his very entity. He felt the power of the dragons flow within his veins, the aura surround his body...
With a cry of determination, he opened his mouth and let out a stream of emerald-turquoise flames at Naien.
She dodged the move with ease and boosted her own speed, firing burning, searing flames at the Treecko. The Treecko snapped back to attention, using his tail to change direction in mid-air, dodging the burst of flames as he launched another burst of Dragonbreath. The two PokeMon landed on different side of the grassy field, staring into each other's eyes.
"You seem to have finally gotten it." She grinned.
"Told ya." Yuurin grinned right back.
"Excellent work, both of you." Gad leapt to his feet and walked towards his PokeMon from the tree he was sitting under, affectionately scratching Naien's eyeridges and giving a high-five to Yuurin.
"Took a while, but it was worth it." Yuurin said "Nai here is an excellent teacher."
"Thanks." the Dragoness smiled at Gad (as much as a dragon could smile, anyway), then turned her eyes to Yuurin "The more you can clear your mind in battle, the easier you can tap into your dragon power. It'll take some practice and time, but you're already on the right track."
"Well, we still have a bit of time to relax before the we should head back..." Gad smiled at his two PokeMon.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Naien grinned, stretching her flaming wings "Call if you need me." She grinned, playfully tapping her PokeBall with her tail (knocking Gad over in the process, as the ball was on his belt) and vanishing into it in a flash of orange light.
"I really wish she'd stop doing that." Gad groaned, "When she was a Cindrake, it was alright, but her tail has... quite a bit of strength now. Ow."
"Tell me about it." Yuurin groaned, pointing to a bruise on his side "She caught me off-guard there."
"She's a bit unperdictable." Gad chuckled softly, getting back to his feet, as the Treecko leapt from the ground and onto his shoulder.
Suddenly, Gad noticed something he hasn't noticed before. He noticed that they were being watched...
As Katie flopped down in a beanbag chair of her own she thought about what Raab had said and gave a smile. "My thoughts exactly," she whispered to herself. Once Raiden had found a spot on the floor beside her, though, she continued to say a loud, "Alrighty! Let's see what this book has to offer."
Opening to the table of contents she quickly skimmed the list, "Overview of Hoenn, Areas of Hoenn, Inhabitants of Hoenn … Ordered by species number, eh? I didn't realize Hoenn had a different numbering system than Johto. 198 known residents and 3 possibles, eh? Lessee…"
She skipped over the introductory pages straight to the first Pokemon profile, which to her surprise happened to be Treeko. The book contained both illustrations and photos of the Pokemon, and, after taking a hard look, Katie realized for the first time that Gad's Treeko had a slightly unique coloring scheme. Interesting indeed…
"The pictures are cool, but there's so much information…" She murmured, "And knowing my reading speed I'd only get through a few pages before we'd have to go. Guess I better find the Pokemon I'm actually raising first…"
As she flipped through pages she paused each time a new Pokemon was shown, staring at the pictures and reading its name but not going into detail. It wasn't long before she came upon her first Pokemon: Mudkip.
"Heh, cute little buggers they are. Since I already know a bit about them we'll skip the small talk." Katie's eyes ran down the page, suddenly stopping on the words ‘Evolution'. "Ah, here's the ticket!" She cleared her throat and began read the paragraph aloud for Raiden, "Like Treecko and Torchic before it, Mudkip have two known evolutions: Marshtomp, and then Swampert. Also like Torchic, once a Mudkip evolves it gains Ground characteristics."
Katie stopped reading a moment and grinned at Raiden, "I already knew that. It's the sole reason I chose Mudkip over the other two Pokemon! Anything here I don't know...?" She skimmed a few more sentences, "Wait a sec. It says that because of the Ground characteristic Marshtomp and Swampert focus on physical attacks rather than special, and some Water-type moves can only be learned in the Mudkip stage. Sounds familiar, eh?"
"Chu!" Raiden grinned.
"Heh... Swampert's kinda cool looking. I can't wait until Tsunami evolves into that. But let's move on..." She flipped through again until finding Taillow's profile, yet didn't bother to read the information. Something else had already caught her attention.
"Woah... That's what Taillow evolves into? Swellow, huh?" She gazed at the new Pokemon, so sleek and cool that she couldn't take her eyes off it. Noctowl had nothing on this creature. "Man, Hoenn Pokemon are just as amazing as Jotho's. I can't wait to get out there and meet them all!"
"Raichurai!" Raiden nodded in agreement.
After staring at the picture a bit longer she decided to read a little up on Taillow attacks, moving on to do the same for Shroomish. Shroomish was a lot like Mudkip because its evolved form, Breloom, gained Fighting characteristics.
"I guess whichever way a Shroomish feels like living determines its future outcome. Evolution really is the key... Both Pokemon sound interesting, but Breloom sure is cute. I wonder what mine'll decide... And I gotta try out some of those attacks with Twistado. They could be really awesome if used correctly." Her eyes gleamed with excitement at the thought. Training these Pokemon was going to be better than she'd ever imagined.
"Now, what other kind of creatures do we have around here...?" Katie returned once more to flipping through pages, but before she'd even looked at fifty she gave a yawn and closed the book. "You know, I gained the info I wanted on my Pokemon. The rest I'll just learn on the way with my PokeDex. More fun to be surprised anyways..."
"Raiii!" Raiden suddenly squeaked.
"Huh? What is it?"
He was pointing straight at her for some reason, which made Katie raise an eyebrow in puzzlement.
"Rai-chu, raiai!" he squeaked again, giving her a "Do I have to spell it out for you!?" type of expression. Before Katie even knew what he was doing he took a swipe at her necklace.
"Huh? Oh!" She yelped, taking the charm into her hand and looking from it to Raiden, "Let me guess... You want me to look up the Dragon Pokemon?"
"Chu!" he squeaked sharply.
"But what's the point? I don't want any Dragon types... You should know that better than anyone!"
The Raichu just sighed, shaking his head and slouching over. His disappointment was so evident that Katie couldn't help but feel bad.
An awkward silence fell between them as Katie pondered the situation, looking at every pro and con she could find. Even with the cons, though, she couldn't help but give in.
"Fine. You're right..." she sighed at last, "I guess looking at a few pictures won't hurt. Might even be able to find a book solely on Dragons..."
"Rai!" Raiden smiled triumphantly.
As she stood up to put the current book away she grumbled to herself, "Why do I always let him talk me into these things?"
It's probably my turn or something, it always is when it ends up stopping dead for weeks at a time. If it is, i'll post soon. I promise.
