Registrations to the pokémon tag dueling competition had begun that week. It took Aon almost a week to reach at the island, but thankfully he could do it on time. Finding the pokemon center that trainers were going to register was easy, it was this one giant building in the middle of the island, right next to the hospital. The city was very small other than that actually, rest of the island was a forest and outside of the forest there was a giant harbor. Aon had never seen that much ship at the same place. He had followed a path combining the city with the harbor by going deeper in the forest, to reach the city.
Aon sighed, heading towards the big white door that was in the shape of a pokeball. It was a really big building which had two floors but still the entrance where people were registering to the competition was so crowded that day, leaving no space to walk even. Floors were white, decorated with some pokémon portres. Second floor was designed for people who had already registered and were waiting for the list to be announced, list which people randomly matched as tag duelling partners were going to be announced.
That was the first ever tag duel competition but trainers were very interested in it all around the world. Rewards were satisfying for many, some was in need of fame, some was in need of money and some just wanted the necklace of "Greatest Tag Dueling" for their collection. Aon wanted none of those, he was just enjoying his adventure.
Aon had blue eyes and his white hair was covering his forehead up until his eyebrows. He had a small nose, perfectly fitting with his slim body shape. He was wearing a tight white shirt as always, and a blue trouser. His sports shoes were black, while his hands were inside the pocket of his trouser as always. He was just an ordinary type, really. As it was his turn, finally, he calmly walked towards the woman who was responsible of registering people to the competition. It took him only a few seconds and after that he was suggested to wait at the second floor until his partner was going to be announced.
Rules of the competition were actually simple. The actual competition was going to be held after 9 months, but within this 9 months a team was supposed to collect 7 medals by defeating master trainers placed randomly in the other islands. Although many people were joining, only very few could make it through the actual competition. Aon was thinking and hoping that he was going to be matched with someone he may get along well with while he was sitting at one of those red chairs provided at the second floor. Having fun throughout this adventure was the thing that only mattered for him. He was now on his 14, and it had been quite some time since he became a trainer. He had been through a lot of good and bad events, and built a strong and serious understanding of training. He remembered his first pokémon, which he could never leave behind. They were travelling to an island with his father, on their ships. Normally Skrelps are pokemons who live and stick together, forming a poisonous habitat for defensive reasons. One, however, was somehow seperated from his group and they found him close to the surface of the sea. Little pokémon was so afraid and sad that Aon couldn't help himself but wanted to take good care of him, giving him another chance; another family. He was poisoned dozens of times but at the end he could train his Skrelp.
Aon then remembered how Skrelp evolved years after that smilingly. Skrelp became a very strong and kind Dragalge. After deciding on becoming a trainer, his pokemon became more than what they are but a friend for him, and no matter what happens they were always together. So they were going to be, throughout this competition!
