Before we start though, I will lay out the general rules first:
- The tournament rounds will be decided in best 2-out-of-3 matches. The player who beats their opponent in two full matches will move onto the next round.
- The losing players will enter a Loser's Bracket. Win there and you're back in the running; lose and you're out for good. The Loser's Bracket will be done until there are four players left.
- The final will be decided in a best 3-out-of-5 match instead. The winner of that will be declared the champion.
Rules within the battles themselves:
- All battles will take place in Ferrum Stadium.
- After a match, the losing player may change their battle Pokemon and their assists. The winner must use the same battle Pokemon and assists as in the first match. If the losing player then wins the next match, they are now locked into whatever battler/assists they used, and the other player may now change their battler/assist Pokemon. As I won't be able to watch what people are doing, I trust you all to enforce this one yourselves.
