I agree with @Shimmering. This RP is flying by, and I think we need to take it a bit slower.

Sorry. I usually complete my games, if given time, in about 3-4 hours, or 2 days, 1 hour each. I'm used to speedrunning, because I do in Pokemon and other games.
There's eight. It's okay. Pflugerville, Gardenberry, Honurk, Geo, Valleyville, Zephyr, Alum, and Berg.
Bug, Grass, Fighting, Rock, Ground, Flying, Steel, and Ice.
Also, I wrote a post in which Zemlyo [ground leader] has two children. The children are Oris [rock leader] and Acer [steel leader]. Cuz who doesn't like family ties?
Another thing- my character needs to head to the ruins of Aura Village. It was burned down. What if it was burned down by the evil team, and we can finally encounter them? Luke can head the ruins, realize that it was a big bad organization that burnt it, and he'll call you guys for help battling/investigating them.

@Mockingchu, I forgot to mention Hysan is very bookish, so he spends time "relaxing" reading books and he finds some about Team Shadow, and what they did. He decides to go to Aura Village when he reads about it, and Luke just happened to want to go to Aura as well. Sorry if it doesn't make sense. I'm not good at putting minor details.
Would there be an Elite Four in this RP?
I don't know. I'm thinking we can do a tourney, then whoever wins the tourney battles the Elite 4/Champion.

Right, I'll put details into the Valleyville gym, then. Also, two questions. One, do you think it's possible we could find a Fire Stone in the ruins of Aura Village? Two, if we take the Pokemon in with us, you're all aware of how the process for Shadow Pokemon work, right? Creating Shadow Pokemon is literally artificially closing the doors to the hearts of these Pokemon, turning them into fighting machines. Cipher had an entire factory dedicated to the process. Unless this Team Shadow managed to find a way to do it instantaneously with multiple Pokemon, it's likely they would use the same process. Also, Shadow Pokemon are incapable of evolving or even leveling up until they're purified. And, I have to ask, why would it add the Ghost typing to a Pokemon? That's rather odd.

To be honest Dapper_Cat, Shadow and Ghost clicked together in my mind. Also, it's Pokemon, none of it makes sense. If Ash could get a level 100 Charizard to listen to him after it was hit by an Ice Beam, a max friendship Pokemon would listen to you if it was turned to a Shadow Pokemon. Also, Shadow Pokemon can level up, because I don't remember anyone saying they will not.
I know this is Anime style, but Shadow Pokemon (As far as I'm aware) have never been introduced in the anime, therefore the only way we CAN go off it is from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon Colosseum. In those games, it was impossible to evolve or even level up Shadow Pokemon until they were purified, and their moves were replaced by moves of the Shadow typing, which is literally super-effective against everything.
I know, but "This is Anime Style." That means we can make the rule either they can level up and they will listen, or we don't make it like that, and make it impossible to battle Team Shadow, because there is a Shadow Field around Aura Village, and it turns Pokemon to Shadow Pokemon, and you can't fight the goons that are there without Pokemon.
I mean, if you want to get into technicality you can fight them without Pokemon (totally isn't trying to think of something funny about punching). But, whatever, fine. Will there be a way to purify them, though? Considering Angel's education on them, I doubt she'd be fine with walking around with a Pokemon that has the door to it's heart closed.
Look, you can purify them. Ora will do it. But, the Pokemon will listen to you and be the same. The Pokemon only changes form and gains a type if it has a max bond. If not, the Pokemon will become a Shadow type and cannot be purified because the trainer didn't try to get to know their Pokemon. That's the only thing I wanted to add.

The whole basis of Shadow Pokemon is them having their hearts closed. That's what makes them Shadow Pokemon. If that's not what happens, then they're not exactly Shadow Pokemon, but that's just me. You all run this new Team however you want.
Shadow Pokemon have never had their appearances changed either (with the exception of Lugia) aside from a purple aura that surrounds their body. But, I get what you mean. I guess we can call it a different ( albeit extremely different) variation, after years of altering the science behind the original Shadow Pokemon from the Orre Region, that also changed their coloration?

Ok so I think I processed all the info I missed right, the ground gym leader has two children, something about a team shadow organization, shadow Pokemon, something about Ora. I just wanted to ask can I meet with anyone, my character is pretty lonely except he has his pokemon.
Would the Plague of Shade / Team Shadow have made everything dark in Aura Village?
Like, a mysterious black fog, that whenever you step too far in it, you could barely see anything, and you could only see the shadows of things; like a house, or some people, for example.
