You live in a small, otherwise rural town on the outermost Ring of Saturn.
There are 76 Rings, and you live on Ring 1.
You've heard tales- dangerous journeys of heroes, trekking through battles on each Ring before being able to scrape themselves together and proceed to the next.
Maybe you're scared of the idea- maybe you're just waiting until you're old enough to make the journey.
Rumor has it, that past the 76th Ring, there is a final layer that nobody has made it to.
Saturn itself. The final battle. You don't know whether or not to believe it, but from what you've heard, the beasts get near impossible to beat around the 40th Ring. You can hardly imagine 76, let alone Saturn.
Regardless, something has led you to the journey. Your family, if you have one, has wished you the best of luck. Tears were shed, hugs were passed.
And you've left.

The weapons that Journey-Takers are permitted to choose from are as follows;

Rules for the Thread
1. Don't be overpowered. If you are, I won't hesitate to kick you. If I say that beasts get difficult around 40, don't kill one with a single hit on 64. I will kick you. Sorry to seem harsh.
2. Write at least four sentences. Writing less is bland, and gives the others nothing to reply to.
3. Don't roleplay by yourself when other characters have been introduced to yours. Some people do something like this (given, it's probably longer):
"[Name] wandered around the forest, humming quietly. They looked around, at the forest around them, enjoying the scenery. [Name] kept walking."
There are numerous things wrong with that situation. One, it's barely three sentences. Two, it gives no acknowledgment to the other characters. Three, it sucks. Simple as that.
4. I feel the need to say it again. Don't be overpowered. I'll literally want to strangle you.
5. Don't make it all about you. Nobody cares that you're the son of the King and there's so many people after you. It's not about you. It's about the group. Now, that doesn't mean stuff can't happen to your character.
6. Imagine this is set in Medieval Times- no sweatshirts, no cell phones, no guns, etc.
Rules for the Rings
1. Journey-Takers must be at least seventeen years of age before they take the Quest of the Rings.
2. Parties are permitted, however they may not exceed the limit of 5 Journey-Takers.
3. Each Journey-Taker is permitted one weapon, a small bag, and one excess item of their choice.
4. Any laws being violated by Journey-Takers will be punishable.

Name: Erin Ablaine
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Physical Appearance: Erin is a smaller woman, at 5'4. She's lanky, and thin, quick gives her an advantage of agility. She's light on her feet- rather stealthy. Her hair is short and dark brown, going to her chin, in a mess of waves that isn't very well kept. It tends to be up, in some sort of way. Her eyes are wide and icy blue, contrasting well with her dark hair and pale skin. She wears a simple grey sweater, that appears carefully knitted, and a simple pair of pants accompanied with a belt and pair of boots.
Personality: Erin is quiet, and prefers to stick to herself. She’s guarded and doesn’t open up easily, despite wanting to sometimes. However, she knows she'll die on the Quest alone, so she's begrudgingly accepted a party. She's very persistent, and very focused, and it's obvious she's been training for the Quest her whole life, which didn’t leave her much time for socializing and leaving her pretty awkward. She's diligent, and rather stubborn, usually pretty unwilling to give up on just about anything. She's very protective, but only comes through as a "friend" in dire situations.
History: Erin comes from a poor family on the First Ring, growing up with two other siblings. Considering she was the oldest, she took care of her parents and little brothers, but considering they were at an age to take care of themselves, she's taken her time off to take the Quest, to hopefully return loaded, enough to sustain her family for life. Her youngest brother, Dean, at 14, is very close to her, while she'd often like to kick out the older- 15 year old Landon. She's fond of them despite their arguments, and it's obvious that she just wants to hurry up and get back to them.
Weapon of Choice (Choose from the Selection): Dagger
Reason to take the Quest: To sustain her family.
Other: Her excess item is a simple canteen.
