I'd like to join this too, but I'd want to have my character partake in Pokemon Coordinating as well, or Pokemon Showcases if you don't have Pokemon Contests. Is that possible?

Yup. I’m pretty sure it was just in the anime (i’ve never played the games) and the only idea I have of it is Pokémon performers in Kalos. Is it the same thing, just without the keys? Or are there minor differences I should know of?

Ok so performing has three stages. The enterance, the performance and the battle. There is a theme that has to be followed when performing. There is usually two or three judges that work to decide who will win. Instead of keys there are ribbons that people collect.

No they or usually in two different locations. The enterance and performance is in the same place usually a stage of some kind. It would be decorated to fit the theme. The battle would be in a different part it is usually a gym like arena that is interchangeable.

Appearance: Wes has dreamed of being a Pokémon trainer his entire life and looks the part. He has tan skin from being outside all the time and dark brown eyes. Wes wears a navy hat with a gray area in the front over his dark messy brown hair. He wears a red short sleeve zip-up hoodie with a gray hood over a long sleeve plain white undershirt. Wes also wears navy blue jeans, black trainer gloves, and red sneakers.
Personality: Wes is typically laid back and easy going, simply laughing at his own misfortunes or insults to him. However, when someone he cares for is troubled or insulted, he will stop at nothing to make things right. He is very intelligent and his greatest asset in battles is his adaptability and creativity, which allow him to come up with unique techniques.
Backstory: Wes is the third oldest of four children born to wealthy engineers who work at the Cinnabar Island Laboratory. While he, along with his older siblings, is extremely intelligent and a naturally talented trainer; Wes values making meaningful connections with his Pokémon over just taking the strong ones. He does not seem intelligent at a glance as he can be rather blunt with what he says, and can be considered annoying or clingy. However, both of those traits are rather symptoms of him being extremely caring, wanting to provide for everyone he cares for. He often volunteered to help out the local Gym Leader, Blaine, as he was infatuated with Blaine’s balance of intelligence and close connections with his Pokémon. Wes and Blaine share a father and son type relationship since Wes hung around with Blaine more than his constantly working father, with Blaine constantly critiquing Wes in order to make him both a better trainer and scientist. It is clear Blaine sees potential in Wes, giving him a Growlithe he bred for Wes’s 10th birthday present. When Wes turned 13, Blaine gifted him a Pokédex, pokeballs, and a boat ticket to Pallet Town, claiming it was the best place to start his journey. Wes’s goal is to prove his worth to his elitist family, and, more importantly, Blaine, by becoming a Pokémon Master.

Well seeing as how RPs are like the anime and not the game. It would be very likely that they would aready know how to do that. It is not like a bird pokemon that has wings to not know the move fly to just walk around. But give it this HM and wowza they can do something they already knew hot to do. It even states that in the rules of Pokecharms that moves are like the anime and not the games.
