Open Shadow tournament

A few hundred years ago two alien races fought over the pokemon world. The Ravec they wanted to conquer the world and add it to their ever growing empire. The other race the Kesier fought to protect the world.
In order to give humans and pokemon a chance for survival the Kesier initiated a tournament where a human and six pokemon fought together against a Ravec and their equivalent in a battle to the death. While humans and pokemon won the tournament the retreating Ravec said that they would be back.

Not wanting a repeat of the countless lives lost during the tournament. The humans took it upon themselves to train both themselves and pokemon for the coming tournament. Over the years while being a pokemon trainers became popular the reason behind why they started became lost into myth. That was until the Ravec came back. Now some selected trainers must partake in the Shadow tournament in order to protect the world from their invaders.

So yeah this is basically Mortal Kombat meets Pokémon. I'd been pondering this idea for a while and figured I might as well try and make this RP.
This takes place roughly a decade after pokemon sun and moon.

Since then he participated in every known league tournament. Though he only won one tournament he gained valuable knowledge. He and his friends brought down a secret organization that was bent on world domination.

Apperance: Narah is a young woman with the height of a pre-teen (4'9"), she have light blue medium hair which she tied in plaits and grayish blue eyes. She usually wears a black Alola shirt, vacation shorts, a woolly crab sports cap and black sporty sneakers. Her clothes were randomly picked sometimes and most of the time when she felt even the slightest temperature drop she would wear her prize Decidueye-styled black hoodie.
