After a while of shaking and oxygen mask-wearing, Dani was getting a bit anxious. Surely the bad turbulence should have ended by now, right? Her breaths intensified, and her face wore a worried expression. Other passengers were just like her now, and even the flight attendants had unsure emotions. She checked the time, on her phone, and the second it ticked six, the plane stopped. It stopped... midair. The speed it went down at was enough to cause Dani to scream, but going slowly would cause the sixteen-year old more panic. Utter chaos broke out on the plane.
She speedily leapt across seats behind her, as the plane tipped vertically, and was still a distance from the crystal clear ocean below them. Hopefully being at the back end of the plane would help her. Before she could make it to the back, the plane increased in speed. Only now had she noticed someone jump out. She leapt off the seat row, to reach a door but was flung upwards, hit the wall and brought down with the plane. Pain covered her broken bones, and she couldn't move for the obvious reasons. However, before she could be drowned, a bit of the transport had collapsed, and crushed her completely. It was completely impossible for her to be living now.
And up above, was a levitating horse, with a varied red colour scheme, invisible to everything but her other fellow spirits. Most of them had already picked their vessels, but it didn't want to pick a regular body off the shore. So, with that thought, it had slowly trotted over to the wreck, and phased through the ship. Spotting nobody it had interest in made the horse feel like it wasn't going to give someone a second chance. That was, until it saw a hoodie-covered hand stretching out of a big piece of what was a wing that had de-attached on the deadly descent. Its head became much flatter, akin to a hook, and lifted up the plane's piece. It saw the girl, in such a bad shape, and instantly knew she was the one. It smiled. The Red Spirit put its head on her broken arm and it started to fix. It spread up her body, and her body looked good as new.
Dani coughed. She couldn't open her eyes, and felt a grainy substance around her. She immediately noticed what it felt like, she was buried in sand. She'd been buried alive! As she kicked, easily did she notice how she could push herself out, and in no time and no effort, she was on island. Quickly, the sixteen-year old stood up and gave herself a brush-off for the sand covering her... and gave a light scream. There was the plane, and there was the wing, crushed inwards. How was she alive, if no-one else was? Life gave her a second chance? What?
The island she was located on was rather large, bigger than in the survival movies. Dani saw a branch, and pulled it up, to make a marking of 'H E L P ! ! !' on the beach. After doing that, the confused teen heard a noise. A hiss. She twisted round to see a weird snake, with four small fluffy wings on its body, and a dragon-like appearance. But, it was a snake with fangs. Quickly, she ran, without taking another look, knowing not to scream.
'This place was in the middle of nowhere and home to weird undiscovered species? What a great adventure!' she shouted as she ran across the beach of this place of unknown origin.
(she hasn't noticed that her hoodie pockets are full)
