This question has been on my mind for a long time now so I'm going to ask you guys. Anime is popular with alot of people right? and alot of people are good at drawing it then why do you never hear or see of anime shows that aren't made by japanese people (no offense to the japanese) is it because they don't go into the industry and decide to take on a different career? or are they not allowed because they're not japanese? there are a few that are pretty close to anime like Martin Mystery and Totally spies but they're still not dead on anime.

Most of the ones made that actually look something like anime but are made by non-japanese people are french. Code Lyoko being an excellent example.

I'm glad that it addresses one of the major points I wanted to get across: anime-styled art =/= an Anime, and all anime is not "big eyes" and "over-exaggerated expressions" like you would see in these pseudo-anime series'. If anything, that's the stereo-type of it
Code lyoko is for anime haters...it is the worst anime ever!! I hated it and thats why its not good and has no good fans....And most of anime created by japanese is very good the only ones I don't like is the ones that are always pornographic not like pokemon or inuyasha (inuyasha may be perverted sometimes but its not pronographic and inuyasha and pokemon are not the only ones that I only watch...)Most of the ones made that actually look something like anime but are made by non-japanese people are french. Yah I heard about french anime and how it's getting popular especially with that movie Fantastic Planet or something like that. Anyway Teletoon is bringing a new serise to their channel called Spider Riders, now I've seen a preview and intro to this show and saw it was an anime show. I then did quick research on it and found out it was made in Canada! this show looks EXACTLY like Japanese anime it's scary......in a good way! I can't wait to see it's debut on March 25. Anime is very popular because that alot of shows we know and love are anime such as pokemon...Pokemon was a great hit but the years that have passed it doesn't have the great adventures and everyones vocie has changed...Many people hate anime also if you think about it anime isn't all that big unless you go to an anime convetion thats when anime gets scary!!!
