In a world where certain humans through reasons unknown were born with special "Superpowers", the men and women with these powers have taken the role of the Defenders of Earth. But power corrupts, and over time, more and more turned to evil. The humans are now hunting them relentlessly, their numbers thinned. While each "Super" has the power of one thousand humans, there are hundreds of thousands of humans for each super. The supers have to live in hiding, but some still try to protect the general population against their evil brethren. Each Super's power comes from an item of significant power to the user. It can only be used by that person and is immune to the power it gives.
