That idea is PERFECT
I thought we were going to slowly add new characters later on in the story, somewhere around floors 5-10
Alright i need to go now to eat. Just want to say that, Isak would probably have problems with this guy being the 'dad'
Isak's dad isn't very nice either. Why do we come up with similar stories?

So. Dad Character’s daughter died playing SAO. Even after the news, he went out and bought the game on some website (EBay, Craigslist), from someone selling it. They’re like.
“Dude. If you join this game you’ll die.”
He buys it anyway and joins the game, hoping to find some sort of trace of his daughter, some fragment, anything.
In his depression, he meets the group, taking one of them and.. not necessarily replacing his daughter with one of them, but seeing a lot of her features in one of them and becoming incredibly protective of them. That character gets in some horrific danger and he dies saving them, with some dramatic last words like “i couldn’t save Stella. i at least.. had to save you.”
