Open Sworld - A new Beginning

He heard Sue scream, and saw the giant bunny charging toward him. He didn't have enough to jump away. His only option is use shield. *huge bunny hit the shield sends kui flying* He land on the ground groaning in pain. Good thing he have dragon hustle, and lost a little of his health.

Sue cringes when Kui got hit by the slam. It looks hurt, although Kui doesn't seems to be hurt that much.

"Kui, do you have healing? Could you fight the giant rabbit while I try to clear the little rabbits?"

"What the" Agito said as he turned around to see a large Bunny attacking two other players. Agito then started to run in the direction of the two players "player search" Agito called out as he found data on the two. "Sue and Kui" Agito told himself as he stopped in front of the two "not worry I got this" Agito told himself.

"King Stone Flash"

*Temporarily stuns the enemy*

"Alright" Agito told them "attack it" he added as he summon his Bass Knuckles and began to charge.

"Nope. But I can take care of the rabbit." he said. He ran toward the stunned rabbit and slash it. The rabbit is still standing. "Thanks and also can you help" he shout at the random player. His passive skill didn't activate, so the fight won't be easy.

Agito nodded at Kui while he took a deep breath "Knockout Finish" Agito Called out as he jumped into the air, right above the bunny.

*Punch*
*Punch*
*Punch*
*Punch*
*Punch*

Agito then landed back to the ground as he grew tired "alright somebody try to find the weak spot" Agito called back.

"Great!" Sue is relieved that they won't need healing. Sue has some raw rabbit meat from the rabbit drop item she got earlier The desc said it can heal a little HP, but will have some consequences if eaten raw. What a nasty description.

Sue focuses on the hordes of rabbit. She start to slash the rabbit, two or three at once. For each kill, she felts her arms has more bulging vein than before. It's starting to looks scary. How much kill I have done? But she ignore it for now and keep killing rabbits.

Sue take a look at the giant rabbit. It seems like gathering power for... something. She had a bad feeling about this.

"Alright" he shout, "distract it. Lure to that huge tree.ok." He was running to the tree. Finally arriving to the tree, he started climbing. "When you get near tell me to attack" he shout.

Agito nodded as he jumped into the air as the bunny had charged at him.

*Punch*
*Kick*

"Alright now attack"

Agito land back on the ground while the bunny had got close to the tree before it hit the tree face first.

"Use you skill"

*slash*
The last small rabbit has fallen. Now, it's just three of us against the giant bunny. It looks like they both have something planned. Sue looks at her HP bar, roughly 1/8 left.

"Welps, better see what the plan is." Sue keep a safe distance while keeping her guards up.

"Alright", he shout, "dragon hustle!" The dragon appears again, went to his sword. He jumped off the tree, pointing his sword at the rabbit head. The beast is finally defeated. Kui eyes were shut for brief moment. "Im alive." he said to point were he was going laugh. A message pops up "oh cool we level up 7 level." he said with excitement.

"Phew, at least." Sue let out a relieved sigh and wipes the nonexistent sweat from her forehead. Somehow the battle felt longer than it should be. but that's probably because they're all low level.

a notification message pop out. She has leveled up a few level. She unconsciously grinning but quickly recompose herself and use her usual poker face to hide it.

The next pop up message told her loot rewards. Some qwert and an armor: Bunny Pajama.

This game must be mocking me.

Agito turned to face Kui as he smiled for w moment. "I had used the Player search to find out who you are" Agito said as he saw that he level up some. "We'll see ya" Agito said as he walk off into the shadows disappearing from the others view.

Kyle pulled out a map then looked for a place to gain a few levels. Looking at the map he saw a place with a bunch of bears. Thinking of this after a few minutes he went with bears. Thus going to an area much forest like with huge willow trees.

After reaching this area he saw many bears acting like "Whiny The Poo" trying reach bee hives in trees. Slowly Kyle edged closer but a little too close and several noticed him. Then he pulled out his bow and began to fight.

(I'm sorry that I didn't post that much yesterday)

Sue saw the knuckled boy off. She then turns to Kui.

"I think I too, must bid farewell for now. Thank you for the company and may we meet again later." Sue gave a small bow and leave, she planned to meet Nile in the next area. But first, she wants to relieve her bulging arms though.

"May faith see us again" he said as he stands up and walks. "Oh", he stops for brief second. "Here have this item", he said as he hands her an item. "This will make your weapon a little bit stronger. Well see ya later." he said with a smile walking away from her.

Kyle must have grew like 4 levels because the bears were hard to beat. As soon as he pulled his bow he an arrow at a blink the eye. It a bear but not as powerful as he thought. Each bear must have been 7 arrows before sudden death. Then around the third bear he was starting to take serious damage from the bears clawing him. As this happened his personal ability kicked in known as Sprinkling Rain. This ability allowed him to lock on to 5 enemy and as said in title sprinkle them with rain or in his case arrows. Kyle put 3 arrows on the bow simultaneously firing and reloading faster than the eye could blink. In the end he won gaining a drop of a health potion which he would use as he left.

"Thank you." Sue accept the item and give her thanks.

She then open her map and check where Nile is. The dot shows that Nile is in the forest not too far from here.

Must be grinding some exp. Sue thought. She walks at that direction.

She looks at her terrifingly low HP and reconsider to eat the raw rabbit meat, but decided not to. It's not like she would die in real life when she die here, right.

Right?

Kyle had walked into another part of the forest where there are no mobs to fight. He climbed a tree and sipped some of his health potion. "Wonder if I'll meet anyone new..." Kyle said. Then he continued on thinking about it.

"Well," Sero told Netro, "I'ma go farm some levels. I'm around level nine, now. Wanna get level ten before the game's been released for a day, but I gotta log out now. It's around 7:30, and I gotta eat." Sero went to his player menu, and hit the logout button. Except there was no logout button. "What?" Sero tried many different ways that Professor Andro taught them in case the normal logout didn't work during the beta. All of those methods didn't work. He then heard a bell ring, and found himself in the Swordsville town square. "Oh, god," Sero thought to himself, "now what?"

*warning sort of heavy profanity is about to happen* “Ohhhh FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUCK. *end of profanity* Yup. I knew it was too good. Oh baby it’s time my life finally turned into a game. OH BABY ITS THE SAO DISASTER ALL OVER AGAIN! WHY HAS GOD FORSAKEN US?! You know what Sero, Let’s just get to the edge of this place. We both know what’s about to happen,” Netro yelled. Some people were already panicking, some look traumatized, and some looked confused. “Oh those poor, poor noobs,” he thought.

A bell ring, then suddenly Sue is in crowd of yelling people. Some of them panic, some of them looks angry, and here Sue is, confused about what just happened. She heard someone in the crowd shouting something about SAO.

She wants to listen for more information, but the shouting of the crowd is overwhelming. So she attempted to slip out of crowd but the crowd is tight, except Sue wants to push back some people slipping out seems unlikely.

"What the" kui said looking confuse. He see people in terror or in anger. "What going on" he mumble. He try to look for anyone he met, but sadly there to many player around making it more difficult. As he try to search Sue or the player that helped him, he stop for a brief moment and heard SAO. "Oh god it can't be" he said as sweat start slowly dripping.

Nile, still running, suddenly heard a ring. "Huh? Not NOOOOOOOOOOW! UGH!," she fell into a crowd of people. She was apparently forcefully teleported from the forest to Swordsville. Confusing, yet a godsend for her.
"How embarrassing... I hate it when games do that..." Pushing herself up, Nile wiped the dirt from her clothing. "What happened? Why is pretty much the whole server here?"
From what she could hear, it seemed to be related to the SAO incident. That makes no sense... Well, if everyone's here, maybe that 'Sue' player is too... She opened her menu, attempting to try and message her since she was still in the party.

Suddenly, the sky went pitch black. Ones and zeroes appeared in front of everyone, forming into a character, except it was three times the size of a man, and had a lab coat. "Hello, players," the person said, "I am professor Lu Andro. As you may know, I made this game. As you also may know, you cannot log out of the game. Do not worry." At this some people cheered, thinking it was being fixed while Andro was speaking. They didn't know how wrong they were. "I designed it like this. You cannot log out of this game, and when you die, your G-Watch injects lead into your arm, which spreads into your body, and kills you in real life. So, to sum that up, you die here, you die out there." He pointed his arm up to the sky. Many players were outraged by this, and there was a lot of trauma going on. "There is a way out, though." This caught some attention. "Defeat 100 floors, and you clear the game. Anyway, that's all my time. Good luck!" With that, Lu Andro dissipated into the sky, leaving a trail of yellow ones and zeroes. "Damn," Sero thought. "This is gonna take a bit."

"You got to be kidding" he mumble as he walk to get ready to gear up with stronger equipment. Walking in the shop to buy a new sword and shield plus some healing potion in case his health is low. Now he need to find players to form a party and learn a new set of skills. It not going to be an easy task.

==WARNING: Lots of cursing==

Sue sats on the floor hugging her knees to her chest, this event is too much for her, several people also follow her and do the same thing, she's glad that she's not the only one sick of this.

Then a shriek tears the loudness of the crowd. A man with a great hammer shout to the vanished Lu Andro, his eyes is full of insanity.

"Damn you, motherf*cker!! Why did you did this to me!! Do you know how much effort I put to survive that damn SAO game!?"

Sue could hear several people whispering.

"He snapped"

"Will we become like him after a long time?"

"I-I don't wanna dieee *sob*"

The man looks unsatisfied with his verbal cursing. So he lift his great hammer and start swinging like crazy. Knocking players near him.

"YOU BASTARD, I WILL KILL YOU LU ANDRO!!"

Several players act quick and apprehend him before he hurts more people, he then dragged somewhere. Shrieking like lamb in the butchering house.

If Sue is just scared before. Now she's in pure terror.

Kyle heard the bell ringing from a distance. Still sitting in the tree watching from a far. Lu Andro appeared and looked like he telling players they couldn't log out also if they die here they die in real life. (One Cuss word) "Damn that guy, SAO all over again I can't handle it but I guess this will do until I find a person or two to party with..." Kyle said.

He jumped down from his tree then began farming exp all over again. This time even harder filled with a limit breaker kind of rage. His rage spread through the forest not physically but spiritually people could feel it.

[WARNING: Some Profanity/Cursing]

"Great. Now my life is pretty much hell if I have to go through this bullsh*t," Nile growled, irritated. Though she wasn't a victim of the SAO incident, there was enough information that she's learned about it that makes her feel more irritated. To be even more specific, more frustrated than afraid.
She looked over seeing the crowd of players trying to keep a Hammer-wielder under control while dragging him off. Apparently, being in this instance probably triggered something inside him. In her eyes, a blizzard of what appeared to be pure rage. Geez... They're all going insane, Nile would walk over, still hearing the man's cursing from a distance. Words too difficult to decipher, though at some point it sounded like he was trying to flip off the players that were "preventing" him from getting his revenge.
"I knew some people were traumatized from the last time this happened, though that seemed a bit too... 'Excessive' in my opinion."

"Well... Now that I'm level Nine I should be able to take on the bunny boss." Kyle said. This bunny boss didn't sound all that powerful to him. A huge mother bunny that can summon in her children to defend not that bad. He thought about on the way to the boss.

Slowly and carefully he came to a halt. Bunnies playing in the fields while scouting out new players. He needed at least one player to help in defeating this boss. Yet it didn't seem that way before how come now?

Some of the crowd dispersed after Lu Andro vanished, eager to grind more exp. Sue, looking at the gap in the crowd, run hastily and slips out of the crowd.

She ran without thinking about the destination. Just want somewhere away from the crowd. Too many negative emotion there.

After some times she arrived at the previous place she was in before teleported, the bunny meadow. She can spot the bunnies here and there but she decided to just lay down and calm herself.

A rabbit approach her and stare at her with those red eyes. From her first encounter of the bunny she realized the bunnies won't attack a laying down player. Probably a bug, or the programmer just want to make it a bit easier for newbies.

Sue smiles and pats the rabbit, it reminds her of her cat Sue... Wait, if I trapped here who would feed her? Who would take care of my body?!

Agito grew tired as he realized that he was stuck in the game. "SAO..why.... why is this happening" Agito asked himself while he tried to get out of the other players way. Soon Agito found himself back at the bunny spot. "Player search!" Agito called out as he saw that Sue was close by. "Sue.." Agito told himself as he started to walk in her direction.

Bunny's appear before Agito as their little red eyes stared at him for a moment before they began to growl at him.

"Gosh I'm going to enjoyed this"

The bunny's soon hopped into the air as they open their mouth to attack.

"King Stone Flash!"

After gearing up, he decide go back to the meadows were he fought the mini boss. As he was walking he encounter that player that helped him. "Hey need some help here!", he shout to the player as he got his sword and shield ready.

Netro inhaled deeply, and sighed.

"Well I thought this was happening. I guess it's scary, but whatever. It's always been my dream to live in a game. Just... not like this," he told Sero. He heard the yells of the mad man with the hammer and Netro started to look a bit angry.

"Well Sero, I'm outta here. I'm just gonna do some quests and get stacked ASAP. Oh and contact me if you need help," he said while sending Sero a friend request. He was gonna stay solo, juuust for a bit. Netro had a feeling things were gonna change veeeery quickly. He left Swordsville and went through a much shorter way to the second town.

"It's time, for shopping," he decided. He put the most important loot to the a different area in his inventory than his garbage stuff, like low level potions. He found a wandering merchant and sold all his stuff for a nice 8,675 Quertz. Netro was now up to about 25k Quertz. He bought a fusable ring and when onto the Armorsmith.

The stuff there was better than the stuff back in Swordsville, but more expensive. He fused a Kobil Ring of Power and a Hunter's Lucky Jewelry and got a Stealth boosting (stealth is a SKILL) and attack +5 ring.

"Good enough," Netro muttered as he equipped the ring. He began buying some helpful stuff like potions and also started upgrading and forging his gear. (blacksmiths MAKE gear; forging is like making a wood sword do more damage and stuff. also by upgrading I mean buying better stuff.)

After an hour of shopping, Netro was pretty OP for a level 8. He had a Hunter's Sneaky Hooded Cloak 1 Star (forged once) which gave him +2 defense and 12% more stealth as outerwear. He also had some forged iron gauntlets which gave him +2 attack and defense and breastplate which gave him +8 defense. Besides that he had his forged steel dagger which has +8 attack and +3 speed. His leather pants also gave him +4 defense, but they weren't forged since Netro didn't have enough Quertz.

He was a bit annoyed at the quality and price of the gear, but there were barely any blacksmiths, and none have yet to open up shop since nobody has enough money to buy land.

"Heheh, I'm one of the only few players here, so that means I can be the first to start that quest," Netro said slyly. He walked over to an NPC with an exclamation point over his head casually, and started a quest. It was quite simple: kill three level 15 mini-bosses and claim your prize. The reward was: 10k quertz, 500 EXP, and the ability to start a guild.

"Guess I should start looking for a bit of help," Netro muttered.

Sue heard the sound of bunny punched. She looks around and saw the knuckled boy from before, looks like he's enjoying the grind. She can also heard Kui's voice faintly, but she can't look for sure because she's still laying down on her back.

She's back to thinking about the situation, it will be good if this all is just a bad dream, right? Maybe it is. Sue closed her eyes, concentrating on the calming meadow breeze and the softness of the rabbit's fur in her hand. It's not long before she dozed off for real.

Kyle got not waiting any longer attacked the mini boss's children. Then out the blue another player comes out of nowhere. "Are you gonna help?" Kyle asked.

"Uh sure", Kui he said running toward the other player. As he was running, he was timing his time to use skill once again. "Hey keep that mother rabbit in this position. If you could." he said to other player. He was attempting to get more momentum to use his skill.

Sakagami Kuze's first day in the G-Watch was something he was not expecting. He had planned to just try the new mmo, Sworld, out and see if it was worth playing over the better mmos that were still on PC, and still had thriving communities. The reason for him trying out the new game was because he had remembered the articles in the newspapers that came out relating to the topic of "The SAO incident", and had heard of the person called Kazuto Kiriguya who played a big role in helping people get out of the game. At the time SAO had happened Sakagami was 14 and was in a middle school tourney for archery.

The moment he started the game Sakagami entered his nickname for his avatars name, Sakaku.. He made his avatar look like some handsome marksman he had heard about in an mmo he has played before, and ran with the weapon he knew how to use. When he had entered the game he took to his surroundings and was very discrete about himself. Before playing the game Sakaku has played mmos before and could say that he is a veteran. After all video games were the reason he pursued the way of the bow in real life. He would have played with a party, but he was not yet used to the movement of the game and wanted to try out moving for himself in peace and quiet.

After a few hours, Sakaku had gotten used to the movement of the game and could pull off some of the things he could with the bow do in real life. He had played around a cliff near Swordville overlooking a beach line, and shooting at what he could only assume to be crabs for practice, which had gained him 3 levels just by doing. After he had gotten bored he had went back into town and partied up with newbies who were new to the game just like him. He knew that by partying up you gained added exp just by the sheer force of co-operation. The extra exp was x1.5 for every player in the party. There was a drawback though and that was that enemies were 2x more difficult. Sakaku did not care though, sooner or later he was gonna hit up the harder content of the game.

The party consisted of a Ranger(dps), Samurai(dps), Warrior(tank), Cleric(Healer). The party members were all pretty hush hush and kept to themselves but they weren't the types to sit around and talk. They were the type to do business first, relationships later. Which gave them a weird synergy in which they just knew how to work with one another. Sakaku was 24, the other three seemed pretty mature as well, so Sakaku just assumed they were adults and knew the ethics of working. Few hours had gone by and the party had netted 6 levels for each. Sakaku was now at level 10 and was comfy with his virtual body. The loot was also diverse but mostly the common trash you would sell for space. Sakaku knew it was enough to upgrade most of the armor he is wearing.

The party said goodbye and each sent each other friend request, as if they were business cards, and said their goodbyes to one another. Sakaku was satisfied with his leveling and went back to town to buy new gear. Plus he wanted to check how the economy was going to be ran from this point on. So far Sakaku was having a blast. Until he had heard a ringing sound that would alert just about anyone or thing.

Some time passes and the announcement had shocked Sakaku. From what he read the events of today were playing out just like the events of SAO. He was trembling at the sheer idea of being stuck in a video game, especially one that was based on medieval fantasy Europe. Then he remembered that he was surrounded by people all of whom were panicking or are deluding themselves into thinking that they might actually fix whatever is happening. He clicked his toung making a "TSK!" sound and immediately bagan runing to the market district of the city.

In a rush Sakaku picked up Leather spaulders [+1 def], Leather sash with quiver [holds +20 arrows], Leather chest piece [+1 def] all in a blacksmith's shop. He quickly ran out of the shop and ran towards a vendor selling a purple trench coat hoodie, which was something Sakaku knew he had to pick up immediately, especially after a quick glance at the flavor text and what bonuses it gave. Sakaku payed most of his quertz, leaving him broke. He did not care though. He left town and entered the forest and checked his new clothing immediately. Violets Trench Coat [This coat may seem like nothing but it became highly famous and fashionable due to a woman named violet wearing this. Violet was a hero of old and was regarded as the greatest thief of her time. +2 dex / %10 more damage on crit]. He put on his new gear and immediately walked into to the forest. His back looking away swordsville. He knew that in order to survive he was going to need competent people to join up with. He might be amazing with the bow but everything else in regards to combat made him weak and squishy.

Maru (IRL name) bought a new game, called 'Sworld'. He heard about the SAO incident, but he didn't care; He actually wanted to be locked into a game. Anyways, he put the G-Watch on, and booted the game, after a not-so-good day at school.

When he entered, he had just one thing in mind: Make this character edgy. He wanted to pretend he was one of those emo teenagers, but still keeping at least something to redeem himself. He choose a War-Hammer as a weapon, he had a black hair with white details, a strong appearence, and a white armor with gray details.

He logged on, now at the game. He started off being really surprised his War-Hammer wasn't as heavy as he thought. He then procceded to go grind for about two hours in the wild, killing some crabs, but that just gave him +3 levels and a half. He didn't want to grind for a day just to go level 10, so he needed a party, returning to the village, seeking for newbies.

He found some newbies trying to do a party, but there was a tank missing. Without option, Koren entered the party, to fill the blank space of the party, just so he could enter it. The party was pretty care-free, they were friendly, etc... Koren knew when you were in a party, you get 1.5x more exp, but, the monsters are 2x stronger. But Koren could face it. The group did some grinding for around 3-5 hours straight. Each of them got 7 levels.

The party then procceded to send each other a friend request, before disbanding. Each of them walked away, Saying goodbye to each other. Koren tried to be more interactive, because the team could be better if he'd stop being so 'edgy', the group could go better. Koren grinded a little bit more, before trying to log-off.
But he couldn't.

The announcer then appeared, and talked about all things, and blah blah blah. Koren was not really shocked. He kind of already expected that. He then spent his money to buy some leather armor, boots, and greaves. He then procceded to go grinding, trying to find a mini-boss or something. He then found a group fighting a giant bunny thing. Weird, but the group seemed strong.

"Hmm... What's the best way to get some cash?" She pondered, walking through the town square. It was now less crowded as she went towards the marketplace.
"Well, there could be a way to do favors for the merchants here for money. Some quick cash, though not enough training really."
Nile walked down the road to the town center and stopped at a bulletin board. Pages of paper were there, it seems these requests were already made by the NPCs. Several of which were related to retrieval or hunting quests. "Seeing as I'm going to be trapped here for however long, I should really consider taking some of these," Nile reached her hand for one of the papers, it disappeared as soon as she reached. It was really weird seeing it disappear the same way a mob would when it dies. After a while she heard a beep from her menu to check it. As she opened it, there was a tab for requests open near her equipment option another list opened with merely one thing from the Bulletin Board:

Request By: Blacksmith of Swordsville
Objective: 5 Pieces of Loot from Nearby Monsters
Deadline: Evening of the Next Day
Reward: 10 Qwert

"Doesn't seem like a lot... Eh, it's a start."
