Private/Closed Tales of Ender Eye (Fairy Tail RP)

"Great." Catherine-Elaine praised giving herself- err, Elaine, a pat on the back. Would it be Elaine, or herself? Well, since Elaine was currently in Catherine's body, she supposed it was Elaine. "Now, imagine that fire being gone now to make it go away. Wouldn't wanna burn everything down, now, would we?"

"Hmm alright then." Sabrina-Marcus complied with the orders. A werewolf huh? "Alright! I'll give it a go!" Sabrina exclaimed. Sabrina-Marcus slammed her fists together like before as Marcus-Sabrina had told him. "Take-Over: Werewolf!" Sabrina-Marcus glowed once again like before, only this time the glow engulfed the whole body. A few moments of silence, Sabrina managed to get it on one go. Although, the form only stayed for mere seconds. Sabrina-Marcus fell onto her knees. "Full body take-over consumes so much magic....." Sabrina chimed with an exhasperated sigh.

Savannah gave a nod as she thought over Eliza's words and began to concentrate.

The spark is a doorway. Thunder and Lightning are my magic. Send the bolt through the doorway.

Nothing happened for awhile. Savannah felt discouraged. However.

"Hey I feel it! The bolt is coming! It's..."

Savannah was cut off as her tiny spark became a bolt...one that propelled her body backwards causing her to crash on the ground. Savannah let out a groan of pain for a moment.

Well, I made a bolt. Can't control it, but making progress...

Eliza let out a laugh "wow, just wow" Eliza said as she helped Savannah/Eliza get onto her feet "your a maker magic user i thought you would have a lot of focus and control but i guess thunder and lightning might be a bit to fast passed for you" Eliza said as she walked around Savannah/Eliza "your first problem was your stance, thunder and lightning can have a fair bit of recoil so a good stance is essential for beginners, another thing to focus on it timing don't keep the doorway open for to long otherwise the bolt of electricity will be harder to control and will send you flying backwards like you just did also it chews up more magic to create one large bolt then it does multiple small ones so keep that in mind" Eliza pointed out "so you ready to try again?"

Elaine nodded at Catherine/Elaine before focusing on putting the flame out but to no avail "umm its not going out" Elaine said as she focused harder but ended up engulfing more of her arm in fire "should i be worried?" Elaine asked as she began to shake her arm around trying to get the flame to go out

"That it does." Marcus-Sabrina chuckled. "Keep trying at it. If you want to try other partial takeover magic first, try Reptile Arm. Essentially, it's just a big, green-scaled arm with a brown, clawed hand." Marcus-Sabrina recommended. "If you need me to try and help you out more, lemme know. I'll keep trying to work on your magic in the meantime." He stated. Marcus-Sabrina turned around and began using Sabrina's magic once more.

"Just calm down, that's not going to work." Catherine-Elaine lecture. "Remember, Purple Flare can't be put out by wind or extinguished by water." She added. "So, just keep calm. Focus on that fire on your arms. Once you're sure you've focused on it and what it's like right now, slowly imagine it getting smaller and smaller until it stops."

Cyrus threw a few more blows before pausing. "Alright, go ahead and take a break." He told Viper. He then looked over the body he currently possessed, and focused his magic energy to his center. "So, what kinds of spells do you recommend I practice? And how do I pull said spells off?"

Barry did as Jeanne instructed. "Light Make: Gauntlets!" He said as gauntlet appeared on his arms. "I did it." He then looked at the claw Jeanne made. "That's a good start but try to focus it more. Dragon Slayer magic is like you have an energy inside of you and you need to push it out." He said trying to explain his magic.

Jeanne gave a nod and focused, the claws becoming more and more clear in shape. "Alright, here goes. Darkness Dragon Claw Strike!" She yelled out, slashing the air. She then focused her toward her mouth. "Now to try that breath attack..." she muttered, "Darkness Dragon...ROAR!" She fired a small stream of darkness which soared across the guild hall, coughing as it ended. "Ugh...How was that?" She asked Barry.

Barry looked at the Roar Jeanne fired out. "That was a good first try, Just keep practicing and it'll be great." He noticed that Orion and Ara are no longer in the guild. "Hey, did Orion and Are leave?" He asked out loud. "Its getting late, how about we continue this tomorrow?" He proposed.

Viper gave a nod and sat down to rest. Viper then heard Cyrus' request and thought over the best way to teach him. His father's method of "putting you in life or death situations will force it out of you" was not something Viper was gonna replicate. So Viper decided to go with another idea he had developed.

"Well, Slayer Magic is tricky. The way I go about it is this: Imagine your magic as one big dragon. A dragon of pure poison. A beast inside your very core that represents all your magic. Tell me when you see this..." Viper explained as he waited for Cyrus to develop a mental picture.

Savannah listened to Eliza's advice and gave a nod. Savannah would get back on her feet and move her body in the advised position. Savannah took a deep breath and once again focused on sending her magic through the doorway. This time once she did Savannah would not keep the doorway open too long. After a while of focus Savannah eventually generated a couple of smaller bolts. This pleased Savannah.

"I I got it!" Savannah said with satisfaction as she was able to generate bolts without it blasting her into the dirt. She turned to Eliza for an evaluation.

"Sounds good." Jeanne said. "Well, see ya then." She then walked out of the guild hall and toward the townhouse She and Cyrus had brought with their missions' money. It was a little on the small side, but it was enough for both of them to live in, and it had everything they needed to live comfortably, so long as they made monthly pay of 55,000 jewels.

Cyrus closed his eyes, imagining his energy as a dragon and meditating on the thought. "Alright, I think I got it." he said.

"Good. Now then the commands of Dragon Slayer Magic usually correlate with features of a dragon. Such as Poison Dragon Claw, Scales, Roar and what not. Naturally there are exceptions, but we'll start with that for the sake of beginner basics. Imagine that Poison Dragon again, focus on its clawed hand. Keep that mental image as you transfer your magic to one of your hands. Bring that magic to the surface, coat your hand in the poison magic and replicate the mental image of that dragon claw over your own hand as you say the command Poison Dragon Claw." Viper instructed.

Zane-Brendan nodded once more, and stood to his feet, brushing himself off. He figured he wouldn't have succeeded the first time - especially with how eccentric he was trying to be, but he just couldn't contain the amount of "extra" that he was. He closed his eyes and held one hand out this time in a grabbing position. He closed his eyes, and had paid close attention to pin-pointing the exact amount of magical energy needed. He pulled it all together while envisioning Brendan-Zane's flame blade. It was one he hadn't seen quite often, so he tried to remember every bit of it that he could. He tried to imagine the blade floating in a celestial plane, much like he did his Angels, and imagined pulling it out of that world and into this one. It was awkward to him, but he managed to get a magical flow going.

His hands started glowing a red-hue. "Requip - Flame Emperor Blade!"

In a flash of light, the long, ruby red sword with a golden handle had begun to slowly materialize in his hands. After a couple moments it then fully came together and hardened in his grasp. Zane-Brendan opened his eyes to see that he had successfully done it. A wide grin appeared across his face - it had taken some times, but he managed to get that part down!

"Woah, I did it, dude!" He said excitedly, laughing while wielding the sword as if he were in battle. However, it was a bit heavier than he had expected it to be, so he set the end in the ground and rested on its hilt.

"Alright - Now that I'm a pro at Requip," Zane-Brendan said sarcastically. "Do you think you wanna give summoning live creatures a go?" He asked. "Luckily, I have some coins pre-made, so it will be easier on you. First, we'll start with just a single Messenger Angel, since those don't require as much energy, so you have less of a chance hurting yourself. Take a single coin, and hold it close to your chest. Chant these following words, and then throw the coin upwards. 'Divine being of above, I summon you to my side and beckon you to my bidding!'. After that, imagine one of the angels just wondering around in a separate world, and then being teleported to this area - preferably beside you. Remember to bring together more ethernano than you use for Requip - since these angels are living, it takes more more will-power and focus to bring them about."

There were more specifics than that, but Zane-Brendan didn't want to take a chance confusing Brendan and causing him to hurt himself - as summoning one of the angelic beings wrongly could result in a magic energy deficiency.

"Nice, and for armor its basically the same thing, picture the armor in your hard then use a bit more magic power than you did to summon the blade and you should be good." Brendan-Zane explained with a smile, "I'm not going to teach you Heavenly Body Magic unless you really want to learn it, it uses a bunch of magical power and is hard to perfect. I still haven't even mastered all the spells." Brendan said as he reached and grabbed a single coin from the pouch.

Brendan-Zane took the coin and held it close to his chest, "Alright, just got to remember that chant and think of how Miss. Sorano does it." Brendan flipped the coin and into the air and chanted, "Divine being of above, I summon you to my side and beckon you to my bidding!" Brendan called out as gathered the correct amount of magical power and trying to picture an angel coming down and appearing next to him.

When Brendan opened his eyes a small tiny little white thing was floating around next to him, "Is this thing the angel?" Brendan-Zane asked in a confused voice. "It looks weird and is kinda small." Brendan said staring at the creature he had just summoned.

Eliza looked at the bolts of electricity Savannah/Eliza created "well done, now onto the easy part aim, esentially imagine it as anything else from throwing a stone, a javelin or even darts just try and be precise or if there's anything like water around you can lock onto it but at the same time materials like copper and other metals can be used as lightning rods so be careful, anyway next we should focus on is some techniques, something small you could do" Eliza said as she thought to herself "I know, Thunder Darts!" Eliza said as she thought for a moment and picked up a small twig "first you need to be able to form the electricity let's start with something small, engulfing your hand in electricity, now imagine your going to send out a bolt of electricity but before it leaves the doorway close your hand into a fist, now your or my body acts as a conductor so the electricity will spread onto your fist or arm depending on how much you release, do wanna try?"

Elaine calmed down and focused her breathing "smaller, making it smaller" Elaine said as the flames on her arm started to shrink

Savannah gave a nod and took a deep breath.

Focus on the hand. Engulf my hand...

Savannah soon felt a bunch of electricity charge around her hand. It took a little time, but she felt she had a grasp on that.

Send out a bolt, but before it leaves the doorway close your hand into a fist. My body is a conductor...

Savannah took a breath as she began to send the electricity to the mental doorway, but closed her hand into a fist before that happened. Savannah's arm soon became the conductor Eliza talked about.

"I...I think I got it." Savannah said to Eliza with a smile.

"Well...Yes! Nice job!" Zane-Brendan spoke as his counterpart had successfully summoned the Messenger. It was a bit different than what it actually looked like, but it was recognizable nonetheless. "Thank goodness you got it down pretty easily. Now, really after that is just summoning bigger and more powerful Angels, and all there is to it is bringing in more and more ethernano from your body and the energy around you, will-power, and spell focus. But, if you don't mind - would you mind teaching me Heavenly Body? J-Just a little bit, of course! I dont wan't you to go out of your way, but I was hoping to pick up some spells for my own body as well...just so that I'm not entirely helpless without my coins. I just hope it's not too much to ask?"

Zane-Brendan knew it would be a bit harder and nearly impossible to master his friend's magical abilities, but he was hoping to get some personal gain from these experiences, especially since he didn't know how long they would stay switched like this.

"Alright, got it." Brendan-Zane said with a smile, he couldn't believe he had summoned an angel that easy even if it was only a messenger one. There was something cool about learning new spells. Brendan thought for a few moments when Zane asked him to teach him HBM. "I mean, sure. It gets easier once you learn the basics, but it took me four years to master, but I have confidence you can learn it." Brendan-Zane said with a smile, trying to remember how his father went about teaching him.

"Alright, let's start off with Meteor." Brendan said, "First, you are going to need to focus a lot of magical power and apply it to your body if that makes any sense. Then, you draw in power from the stars and your body should began glowing in a golden hue. After that, just release all the built up magic power and just go berserk. You can even increase you speed at will, you just have to focus a bit more magical power." Brendan-Zane explained the best he could, "If you want to learn Grand Chariot I'll teach it you, but it'll add to the series of giant craters in my backyard." Brendan said with a laugh.

Candlelight illuminated the dark room of the study Fredrick was in as he read through all the files and journals of the scientists that he could get his hands on. Some were missing, and there were small holes here and there, but from what he could deduce, those were only personal entries from the scientists themselves, and thus unimportant to his goal. He had spent three days in that lab, only resting to sleep. So far, he had only gone through one third of the documents regarding the studies of the liquid. He shuddered as he recalled the horrendous experiments, and the pain they brought. Every day introduced a new form of torture, a new way to break his psyche. Pushing the memories aside, he continued to sift through the experiments that tested the properties and structure of the liquid, hoping maybe that section had a solution to his predicament.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cyrus concentrated on his hand, keeping the mental image in his head as the claws began to form. "Poison Dragon Claw!" he commanded, and a rough outline of claws made of poison formed around his hand. With the formation as complete as he could make it, Cyrus lunged forward and slashed at a stump, carving a few notches into the wood before the claws broke.

Viper evaluated Cyrus. It was pretty good for a first attempt all things considered. Still he needs to work on strengthening his spells. If done right he would have sliced clean through the stump. Of course this was expected; Viper was a far cry from mastering this Enhancement Magic.

"Good. Just keep that idea in your mind whenever you cast a spell." Viper advised as he would wait for any other questions from Cyrus before going forward.

Eliza clapped her hands to what Savannah had done "brilliant!" She applauded "now on to the techniques" Eliza said "Thunder darts isn't really necessary to learn but it's a good small scale attack that isn't very noticeable" Eliza said "esentially while you send a bolt of electricity through the doorway imagine that your going to create darts like how you would with your old magic" Eliza explained

Savannah considered Eliza's advise before she took a deep breath.

Send the bolt through the doorway, imagine darts...

"Thunder Darts!" Savannah called out as she generated and shot a few electric darts and hit the targets. Savannah was quite pleased.

"I did it!" Savannah said to Eliza with a smile.

Eliza smiled and gave Savannah a pat on the back "great you've got all of the basics down pat "though I'm not going to revel all of my secrets otherwise you'll probably become better at that magic then me without actually having to do any of the hard training" Eliza said "so I've told you how to use my magic now are you going to teach me yours?"

"Gladly! The key to Sand-Make, like any Make Magic, is imagination. You have to have a picture of exactly what you are gonna make. The only thing that holds you back is your own creativity...and magic reserves. But it isn't just about appearance. Say I wanted to make a bouncy ball. I would picture that ball in my head then I would picture how it would bounce across the ground or walls when I throw it. So go ahead. Try to picture that mental image of the bounty ball, channel your magic like a sort of creative juice in your palm and then say Sand-Make: Bouncy Ball!" Savannah explained.

"Alright." Marcus-Sabrina murmured. He almost had it all down. He definitely had the basics down at this point, so he was satisfied. He turned to Sabrina-Marcus. "Any luck getting more forms to work?" He inquired. The more forms Sabrina started to get down, the better chance they had.

Catherine-Elaine smiled and nodded slowly. "That's it. Just keep calming down the flames until eventually it's extinguished. After that, I suppose you can teach me one of your basic spells."

"Huh?" Sabrina-Marcus asked. "Oh! Not yet actually. I don't know any of your other souls." Sabrina-Marcus informed Marcus-Sabrina. "This whole time I really was just trying to perfect a full body take over." Right after she had said that, Sabrina did it again. "Take-Over: Werewolf!" She once again turned into a wolf humanoid. This time, being able to hold out the duration of the spell instead of making it disappear like the first time.

"Alright, and what about that breath attack? Is that basically gathering magic energy in your mouth and exhaling it as poisonous fog?" Cyrus asked, trying to form another set of Poison Dragon Claws over his hands.

"No. The roar of a dragon comes from the core, not the mouth. Build up your energy in the core, much like the mental image of the poison dragon gathers its fire in its core. Once you've gathered the magic take a deep breath and send it up your body and to your mouth, say the command Poison Dragon Roar and then release the power." Viper explained, as it was a common misconception. Viper had to hope he did a decent job of explaining it to Cyrus.

Eliza nodded as she got a mental image in her mind of a bouncy ball "ok now I imagine the ball bouncing around" Eliza thought aloud as she tried to imagine the ball bouncing around "ok now Sand-Make: Bouncy Ball!!!" Eliza yelled as she created a small ball that fell to the ground and bounced once before it broke apart into multiple grains of sand that continued to bounce, Eliza watched the sand grains bounce around before stopping "How the hell does sand do that?!?!?!" Eliza exclaimed "that is breaking the laws of physics on so many levels"

Elaine calmed herself down and slowly the fire disappeared "hey I did it" Elaine said as she made fire cover her hand before making it disappear again "so what now?" Elaine asked while still playing around with the fire on her hand

jade421

Previously Sarah316
Savannah gave a laugh as she patted Eliza's back.

"Don't concern yourself with logic and reason. With magic anything is possible! Worrying about how sand can do something like this hurts the creative juices and makes creation so much harder. You just need to focus just a tad bit more on having your sand be the ball. Don't worry so much about the mechanics or logistics behind it, just think of the ball and how it will bounce. Also, just use a tad bit more magic to help stabilize it." Savannah advised

"Well, I think it would be smart now to teach me one of your spells." Catherine recommended. "But, there is one other spell I should teach you first, so you have an actual spell." Catherine added as she walked out of the Guild Hall. She led Elaine to a field near Opium. "Now, raise your hands in the air, and imagine that purple fire forming a tornado. Once you have the image, call out the spell. Shadow Flare: Tornado."

"Good, good!" Marcus-Sabrina praised. "Now, those are two helpful takeover spells. Are you satisfied with those two, or do you want to learn one more?"

Eliza let out a sigh "ok here we go again" Eliza said as she focused hard on creating a bouncy ball "Bouncy ball, bouncing around" Eliza thought aloud "Sand-Make: Bouncy Ball!!!" Eliza yelled as she created a ball made of sand which fell to the ground and started bouncing "cool" Eliza said as she began to bounce the ball"

Elaine rubbed her hands together "Ok fire tornado that's purple" Elaine said before closing her eyes and starting to imagine it "ok, Shadow Flare: Tornado!" Elaine yelled as she began to emit a small whirl of fire which turned into a small tornado which began to set fire to some of the grass "cool" Elaine said before noticing the fire was spreading "umm how do I stop it again?"

"Good job!" Savannah said with a smile, happy Eliza had made progress.

"This same principle applies with anything you make. Want a wall? Imagine a strong fortress that nothing can break through. Want a hammer? Imagine a nice big one that can bash anything! Keep in mind any object is only as powerful as the amount of magic you put into it. You really can't make an indestructible wall, I don't have the magic to do that. However if you don't imagine the object you make as being the best it can be, then any magic you do put into it will be wasted. Is there anything specific you want to try and make?" Savannah asked Eliza.

Eliza thought for a moment "oh I know what I want to make!" Eliza said as she focused imagining the thing of which she wanted to create and how it would move around, Eliza turned to a nearby tree "let's go! Sand-Make: Thunder bolt!!!" Eliza yelled as she created and threw a bolt of thunder made of sand at the tree which put a decent dent in the tree "that was fun!" Eliza exclaimed happily

Savannah blinked for a moment before she shook her head and gave Eliza an amused grin.

"Clever. Very clever. Seems like you are getting the hang of it." Savannah complimented, as she focused on generating that spark finding it easier than last time. Savannah felt with just a little more practice, she'd get a decent grasp on it. Those body swapping punks won't know what hit them.

"Alright. Here goes nothin'." Cyrus said after taking in the new information. He began gathering his energy to his core, then brought it up toward his mouth. "Poison Dragon...ROAR!" With that shout, he unleashed a small torrent of poisonous vapor that hit a stump, slowly boring through to the other side.

Viper examined Cyrus' attempt and gave a nod. This was good enough for now. Cyrus was picking up his magic quickly, which was good. There was no telling when those dark mages would strike again. They had to be ready for it.

"Good, I think you have the basic concept down. Do you have any questions?" Viper asked Cyrus.

"Nah...none for now..." Cyrus wheezed. "Whew...this magic's exhausting..." After he caught his breath, he stood up. "Alright, I'm gonna head home. See ya tomorrow." he said, walking off. "Next time, I'll teach you how to enhance your senses." He added, waving.

Viper gave a nod as he began to move back home, a thought on his own mind.

He'll probably find that his own senses, most notably smell, are also enhanced thanks to the nature of us Dragon Slayers. Not to the degree of his enhancements most likely, but I wonder if he'll discover that on his own or not. Either way I should consider what else to teach him. Should I consider Hydra?
