(Disc. Thread)

Sebastian found himself in that heart-pounding freefall once again—thirteen times, to be precise. As he hurtled from an unknown height, he watched the moon with a fresh perspective. There was an uncanny sensation that the moon was gazing directly at him, its pale and unfeeling eyes tracking his descent. When he jolted awake, he was left with the lingering memory of the moon's cold scrutiny.

The Harmonic Hall, a place that should be harmonious, held no love in Elara's heart. She couldn't stand the tension in the air during these meetings. Despite the elegant name, these gatherings felt like an arena for trivial debates that even a recent MAE graduate could solve. Elara was making her exit when Sir Dudley Hartwell, Harmonium's Councilor, blocked her path.

"Ms. Nightingale," he began with the precise tones of Harmonium, "May I have a quick word?" Hartwell circled his point cautiously, a common trait among Harmonium's representatives, and offered to lead the challenging project assigned to Elara.

Elara had half a mind to tell him that she didn't need a three-page essay of advice. She wanted to take a page from her Uncle Riff's book, advocating for the mantra 'Stick it to the man!'. Instead, she responded, "Thank you," after a sharp inhale, wearing her best accent. "I believe I'm still far from reaching my limit. If that changes, I'll be sure to seek help."

Hartwell appeared satisfied with her answer, precisely as she had anticipated. With a polite bow, he departed, convinced that he had earned brownie points with the High Harmonist. Elara sighed, knowing that today was bound to be a long one.

Crescendia, the city of everlasting elegance, appeared untouched by the passage of time. The landscape was a serene tapestry of rolling hills, meticulously groomed gardens, and serene lakes. Ducks filled the air with their harmonious quacks. To Sebastian's surprise, their numbers seemed to have dwindled since his last visit. He had precious memories of the duck symphonies that echoed through the area.

As he meandered through the city, he was tempted to pause and savor the 'world's best music,' as a Folklorian painter had once described it. However, he had to remind himself that this trip was not by choice.

The enigmatic letter he had found in his room after his recent excursion to Ariastrum to see Hellen Belle in her latest casting had left him deeply perturbed. His true identity was a closely guarded secret, shared with only a select few.

The ducks' harmonious serenade brought back the memory of a school trip from his past. It was a bright day in early spring, with summer's warmth just beginning to unfurl. The class had gathered by the bank, awestruck by the creatures gracefully gliding on the water. A guide had selected a student to play an accordion, and a young duck had enthusiastically echoed the melody, showcasing its musical prowess.

Without warning, the visage of someone else entirely, a girl, had flashed in his memory, her name lost to the whispers of time.

He remembered her vivid red hair and enchanting, velvety eyes that had once held a world of warmth. He couldn't place exactly who she was, though the mellow sensation in his chest signified she was once a friend - a dear friend from a bygone era.

Back to the memory of the class trip, the enchanting serenade from the ducks took on a new tone. This time, it sounded slick and quick, distinctly different from the native Harmonium ducks. Another traveler, perhaps an envoy from Technosymphonia, had passed through, leaving their mark on the local ducks' repertoire.

Sebastian's destination was the Melodic Council's HQ in Crescendia, Harmonium. As he transitioned from the idyllic outskirts to the bustling city, he drew his hood low and kept his head down, wary of being recognized. It had been four or five years since his mysterious disappearance, but he knew his father was an unwavering force. Whether or not they were still searching for him was a lingering question.

His reminiscence was interrupted by a sudden collision.

"Oof!" he exclaimed, ending up on the cold pavement. Another person had experienced the same fate.

"Hey!" a girl's voice reached his ears. "Watch where you're going, dude!"

Sebastian lifted his gaze to meet the girl who had rebuked him. Her warm, dusky skin and silver eyes complemented her striking golden dreadlocks adorned with gleaming silver accents. However, what stood out most was her vibrant and distinctive style. She sported graffiti-inspired clothing, donned stylish headphones, and zipped around on retro rollerblades, emanating electric beats. There was no mistaking her as anything but a proud Rhapsodian.

Embarrassed by his clumsiness, Sebastian offered a sheepish apology. The rest of the sidewalk was filled with passersby—musicians, conductors, and Council personnel—gazing at them with a mixture of disapproval and intrigue before moving on. It was a stark reminder of how welcoming Harmies could be.

Sebastian was about to take his leave when the girl called out to him.

"Wait, hol' up hol' up!" she cried, waving her arms energetically. She held up a piece of paper that bore a striking resemblance to the mysterious letter he had discovered in his hotel room the previous night.

"Man, this is my first time here, and I don't know where anything is!" she explained as if they were lifelong friends. "Do you know where I can find the Council HQ?"

Sebastian pondered how much to reveal to this enthusiastic and vibrant stranger. He had always maintained a low profile when he wasn't in costume. This girl seemed lively, to say the least.

"Yeah, I'm actually on my way there now," he found himself saying. After all, he had come this far. "Wanna come with?"

"Dang, ain't that a coincidence?" she exclaimed with a warm smile, gracefully gliding on her skates before extending her hand.

"The name's Zara, but my friends call me Reverb!"

While her boundless energy was a tad overwhelming, Sebastian did his best to keep up.

"Nice to meet you, Zara. You can call me Seb."

Friedric Johannes Hatfield

Friedric had been commission by Hans Hatfield, the Butler for the Hartwell family to find Their Daughter. He had been walking around Harmonia, trying to put the clues together to where the Daughter of the Hartwell family had been last seen. Eventually, he had gotten a letter to arrive at the Council HQ in Crescendia. He put his notes down and started his heading towards Crescendia. He made sure he had his Axe Guitar, and the Axe end was well sharpened, and fresh Strings on the Guitar as well.

As Friedric went through the countryside, heading towards the City, he saw all sorts of people, fellow Rockarians, Jazzarians, even mixed ethnicity folk. When he arrived, he prepared to get everything in order as he went towards where he was Called. He had been walking for a while, getting nowhere near the Council HQ.

Folkloria's Watchful Guard

Emi Rocksong, a name feared by hoodlums, scoundrels, Bandits across Folkloria, had personally been called to Council HQ, all the way in Crescendia. She hoped that Achelous was okay, especially since she got this call. She had tea with him every few weeks for her stress. The Bandits may pick up in their actions, but Emi had the rest of the law enforcement group to cover for her absence.

She had gotten on Shel, her normal clothes were in her bag, alongside her formal clothes, carrying any supplies, her Lute having a reinforced body, having been used as a Bludgeoning weapon at multiple different. She had put on a cloak given by Folklorian Law Enforcement, which covered most of her body, however she put her Lute and Broadsword over her cloak. Emi then rode off towards Crescendia, where Council HQ called for her. This was odd, even to her. Why would Council HQ be interested in a country law enforcement officer who has struck fear into Bandits and Scoundrels alike. Do they have news about her Sealed Magic, or possibly her lands that she wants to reclaim from her family, who treated her like utter crap. She continued riding, seeing the changes in the lands as she rode closer to Harmonia, and particularly, Crescendia. She then rode through Jazzaria, her mother's homeland, seeing the sights, people with various instruments and the sound of Jazz music. This faded away as she rode out of her mother's homeland. As the scenery changed again, she arrived in Harmonia.

As Emi rode into Crescendia, she heard the sound of ducks quacking, rather Harmoniusly. She then stopped Shel, whose whinny went along as a bass line to the ducks. Emi then started walking Shel through the City, people tending to steer clear of Emi because of her armor. She then found a place to swap the armor for her more formal clothes, as she wasn't sure of the attire of the Council HQ. She then put the Armor on her horse, making sure it was tied down to prevent it from flying off Shel. As she walked, she heard the sounds of people saying something about Council HQ. Emi had her Broadsword on her back, her Lute on her hip.

She kept an eye on the two as they seemed to settle their differences at this point. This was good, since she was hoping to keep her official job on the down Low. The young woman then walked down towards the direction that HQ seemed to be. She was trying not to be spotted before her arrival to the site of assignment, especially by another Folklorian.

..vvvVROOOOOOOOMMMMmm..!

Like a tracer bullet painting a line across the skies, a neon light bolted through the clouds, parting the vapors and splitting them in twine as they darted through the air, leaving behind nothing but a fading beam of pale red light. This was, of course, the Highway King soaring through the skies at reckless speeds, not a single care in the world.

Slowing down was out of the question, especially this time around. He had somewhere to be, someone to meet, and someplace to find, and he was going to be the first one there. Nobody would stop him, not storm, not mist, not even rain or lightning would stop this streak of crimson lights from shootin across the skies.

From the horizons of Harmonium, a beaming, red light would come increasingly closer. Like a rolling thunder through the night sky it soared through the air, this flash of red, the rumbling sounds of an engine and the whirring and bright sounds of a synthesizer zooming at rapid speeds up above, announcing the streak's presence as it painted a glowing line through the clouds like an arrow of light.

The Highway King had been going the whole previous day and night like this, just zooming across land and sky alike without ever stopping. Playing his musicycle at a constant loop, he trained his musical talent through the constant use of Deccelerate and Accelerate to perpetually slow down his own metabolism and upkeep the magically-enhanced speed of his bike.

As for the course of this bolt of red light beaming through the skies? Why, the Council HQ, of course! He did not know why, he did not know how, but he had gotten a letter of invitation to some kind of fighting force. Melodic Vanguard or whatever it was called, it mattered little to him the semantics of the contents of the message.

It somehow found its way to him and he took it as a call to action. Nothing more, nothing less. And that's exactly why he was so intent on getting there first - not just to beat his potential competition in this race he invented himself the moment he received the invitation, but to also set a fitting first impression. If he couldn't show that he was the top dog, there was no point in this rivalry, and a man like him would never back down from any sort of challenge or competition, especially a race!

..even if he did make it up on the spot and was the only actual participant.

"È l'ora dell'atto di apertura..."

It was quite a lovely day, and it was quite a lovely night. Helen remembered it quite vividly; she had sung, in her opinion, one of her best performances yet.

"Siediti un po' e ascolta la mia serata..."

Her carriage was traveling at a steady pace, the specially raised horses drawing the fancy cart with an air of dignity and class. Bronte and Ignatz; her loyal, beloved horses whom she loved so very much.

Too bad that only Ignatz would be able to come with her to her final destination. Bronte was a fine horse, but Ignatz was the younger and more energetic of the two. He would be more useful for whatever Helen was needed for.

The enigmatic black letter she had received had asked her to join their team, or vanguard, or whatever they had called it. HER unique talents had been recognized by important people, and now immortal fame and glory was going to be hers! Joy!

She wondered if she was expected to produce an heir to take her place once she grew too old to serve. Her vanity ran her imagination, imagining a great force that would be remembered in history as great musicians who protected all the people of the realms.

Oh, she could almost cry!

But of course, that was at the beginning of the journey. Now that she had been traveling for two days, even the heavily cushioned seats could not protect her poor, tired rear from the bumps in the road that jostled her uncomfortable self every few seconds. And the LONELINESS! Oh, woe was her! When would she reach that council who had so summoned her? Could they not have even brought a page? At least I had the foresight to ride in a carriage. Riding a horse at this distance- oh, it would have been dreadful! And so her mind ran with such wines and complaints ad infinitum.

And now, in current time, she was asleep in her fancy traveling clothes. If she had been awake, she probably would have been worrying about her makeup, but as she was, she was actually just fine looking without it.

The city's tallest buildings were slightly in sight on the horizon, and the horses were nowhere near as excited as Helen would have been. Blissfully asleep, she dreamed of the fame that she thought would be hers, and of the teammates who would be her stepping stones and ladders to victory.

Let's hope she remembers to take the ladder with her or she won't be able to climb the higher mountains ahead.

Seb and Zara strolled together through the bustling sidewalks of Harmonium, their paths a stark contrast. Seb, cloaked in caution, blended into the crowd, navigating through the throngs with subtlety. On the other hand, Zara drew every eye to her, her flamboyant movements commanding attention.

Seb was beginning to question his choices when Zara abruptly ceased humming and inquired, "So, what's your deal, dude? The way you walk through these streets, I can tell you're a local alright. But between that hood and the way you're steppin' through these people like a dang ghost..."

She halted abruptly and scanned the area, contemplating escape routes. "You're...you're not some kinda serial killer, are you?"

Seb wore a thoughtful expression, "No, but I'm looking to get my start today..." A brief silence hung in the air before they both burst into laughter. "Geez dude, don't scare me like that! You know it's my first time here!" she teased, slapping Seb on the shoulder.

The remainder of the journey to HQ passed quickly, filled with casual conversations on various topics. At one point, Seb thought he spotted a red light whizzing through the cerulean Harmonium sky, accompanied by the faint hum of energetic notes, but he dismissed it.

When they finally reached their destination, the Melodic Council HQ stood majestically, an architectural fusion of classical elegance and modern innovation.

Its exterior was a striking combination of marble and steel, embellished with ornate classical pillars. Gleaming windows encircled the building, offering stunning views of the surrounding cityscape. Flags of the seven regions of Harmonia flapped in the gentle Harmonium breeze, symbolizing the unity of the land's diverse musical cultures.

"Whoa!" Zara exclaimed in awe of the grand spectacle. "I should've guessed this was it! It's the tallest dang building in this place!"

Seb, a bit disillusioned, sighed softly, having seen the building numerous times during his youth. Memories of his past reignited his sense of urgency, and he aimed to expedite the proceedings.

After scanning the HQ's bustling interior, they made their way to the entrance and climbed several flights of dazzling marble stairs. Once there, they showed their letters to the Guardians on patrol.

As they entered the grand foyer, they were greeted by an enormous, intricately carved statue of Harmonia's legendary founder. The HQ buzzed with activity, Guardians patrolling, council members hurrying from room to room, and animated discussions in every corner. It felt as though the people there already knew their identities, purpose, and the reason for their summons.

The two continued, feeling the weight of suspicious gazes upon them, until they reached a corridor that led to a set of doors crowned by a sign reading 'War Plan Room.' Their guide knocked on the door, and a commanding voice from within ordered them to enter. The guard maintained a resolute expression as he departed around the corner.

Sebastian and Zara glanced at each other briefly, their expressions filled with tension, before entering the room as instructed.

As they stepped into the grandiose War Plan Room, their eyes were momentarily blinded by the dazzling shimmer of the crystal chandelier suspended from the high, vaulted ceiling. A warm, golden glow enveloped the room, revealing polished marble floors and intricate wood paneling. Every corner exuded an aura of history and significance.

Their footsteps echoed softly on the marble as they approached the colossal oval table situated at the center of the room. The table's dark oak surface bore an inlaid map of Harmonia, surrounded by imposing chairs adorned with the emblems of each of the seven regions. It was a chamber where momentous decisions were made, and where strategies were devised to protect their cherished land.

But what drew their attention most was the lifelike statue at the head of the table. Harmonius, a guardian of their world, stood as a sentinel, his expression a blend of serenity and determination. He held his violin bow in one hand and rested the other gently on a centuries-old map of the world. His lifelike presence exuded wisdom, strength, and the profound history that they were a part of.

As their gaze traversed the rich tapestries depicting each region that adorned the walls, they approached the table. Elara Nightingale, a commanding presence in her own right, occupied a chair at the far end. Her eyes revealed traces of exhaustion from the discussions, but her posture remained steadfast. She embodied the legacy of Harmonia, the leader entrusted with preserving the world's harmony.

Sebastian exchanged a knowing glance with Zara as they neared Elara. She addressed them first. "Welcome, Mr. Crescendo, Ms. Sparks. Thank you for arriving here at such short notice," she said in a professional, business-like tone.

Sebastian's surname use raised alarm in his mind, but before he could react, Elara continued, "Not to worry - as stated in the correspondence delivered to you, your presence here is completely confidential. You're safe with us," she assured.

Sebastian exhaled with relief, while Zara still appeared puzzled. He exchanged an apologetic look with her, promising an explanation later.

Elara eventually said, "Please make yourselves comfortable," and gestured to the chairs arrayed around the central oval table.

Zara took a seat on one adorned with Rhapsodia's emblem, while Sebastian, after a moment of hesitation, chose a chair with a magnificent saxophone against a sultry purple background.

Elara noticed Sebastian's brief pause but opted to remain silent. After a tense pause, she glanced at a grandfather clock in the room. "Not much time left until the others arrive," she mentioned knowingly.

Blitzing through the skies like a bullet, the red beam of light that was the Highway King and his musicycle would find their target location - the Council HQ. He's been to Crescendia on occasion, so he already knew his way around. However, as he never had a need to actually enter this giant tower, he first had to fly in spirals around the HQ first, gradually ascending higher and higher as he soon found a large room behind a window big enough for him to fit through. Taking a loop around the tower, he flew further back a bit..

CRAAAAAASSSHH!!!

And with a quick burst of speed and his musicycle shifting back to its grounded mode, he raised it into wheelie position, crashing through the large window as his rapid tune grew to a quick end, a reversed solo suddenly causing all the shards of glass to stop mid-air and fly back where they came from, merging together into the previously-intact window he had just rammed through. It was a very badass entrance that he just had to take, because it wasn't like driving through all those inevitable winding halls and stairways would've been any better.

Stopping with a circular drift on the ground which also seemed to reverse any marks left behind, the Highway King had moved one hand from his cycle as he stopped in place, two fingers held up, his invitation letter lodged between them both, before his gaze landed on the two faces who were already gathered in the room. Of course, this would mean only one thing..

..he could not.. have taken third place, could he? How could he be so slow! He was the Highway King, he needed to be faster than that..! No, wait just a minute. Come to think of it, these two came in at the same time, didn't they? Well, he was gonna pretend as such anyhow, because that would have meant that he still technically achieved second place..

Oh well, good enough!

Standing in the bathroom of her apartment, Roni Jones glanced at herself in the mirror. She gently touched a hand to the scarring on her face before hearing a knock at the door, "Give me a minute, I'll be right out" the slightly robotic twang of her replacement vocal chords rang out as she hastily washed her face and grabbed her mask, putting it on. She walked to the door and opened it to find her gig manager, "oh hey Greg, I thought I told you I couldn't do any gigs for the time being I've got other arrangements" she stated a hand on her hip as she raised an eyebrow, the man shook his head "oh that's not why I'm hear I just wanted to give you the jacket you left at the last venue as well as the reviews from your last show", Roni took the jacket and magazine from Greg and smiled, "I was wondering where I out this, thanks mate" she glanced at the time, "bugger, I've really got to go" she said quickly throwing the jacket onto her couch and heading out the door, she took the magazine as it would give her something to read, she closed her door and locked it "see you later" she said before rushing off.

She eventually made it to Crescendia, it had been a very long time since she'd been in Harmonia and she glanced around at her surroundings, she wondered quietly if her family was even still looking for her, not that she was worried, she practically unrecognisable. She found herself thinking about the young boy she was friends with before she ran away, she couldn't remember his name, maybe because it had been so long or maybe the accident took more from her than she thought. She shook away the memories and turned her attention to finding the Council HQ, with a quick adjustment of her outfit, even though her cardigan kept sliding of one shoulder she simply shrugged, "guess its fine" she muttered to herself, after all she didn't mind the scarring on her body being visible it was only her face that she was insecure about. She straightened herself up and began to walk, it didn't take her long until she reached the Council HQ.

She entered quickly and climbed several flights of marble stairs. Once at the destined location, she showed the Guardians on patrol her letter. As she entered the grand foyer, she glanced up at the enormous statue of Harmonia's legendary founder. She continued until she reached a corridor that led to a set of doors crowned by a sign reading 'War Plan Room.' A voice inside told her to enter as she obeyed hastily. As she entered she eyed up the table her gaze eventually falling on Elara Nightingale who occupied a chair at the far end. As she approached the table, Elara addressed her, "Welcome, Ms. Hartwell..." she didn't process the rest after the name, she froze. Her face under the mask went white as she felt panic begin to set in. Almost as in sensing her impending panic attack the woman spoke again, this time Roni heard her, "You need not worry, your presence here is completely confidential. Your family will not be informed of your presence." Roni managed to calm down as she found a seat with the Technosymphonia emblem on it "If it's all the same I would prefer Ms. Jones or Roni in the future" she stated as she took her seat.

The jolting of her carriage awoke her to reality.

She had arrived in front of a graceful marble building, which she recognized from her brief visits to the great city.

It was an IMPORTANT building. A building of dreams.

A building housing her fame!

Helen jumped from her seat, and flung open the door of her carriage. She untied Ignatz from the carriage, and sent Bronte back.

He was a smart horse. He knew where home was, so he'd find it. Getting up on Ignatz, she clopped through the doors and was greeted with a rather boring and dull attendant who blanched.

"M-Ma'am! You can't be riding a horse in here!"
"Well how else am I supposed to keep an eye on him? I did not see any stables!"
The attendant, or bellhop or whatever he was, didn't seem to have a response to that. He was silent for a minute, then and said, in a voice of carefully controlled patience, "Ma'am, that doesn't mean you can just....Ride a horse inside. I'm sure we have somewhere to keep your horse."
"It's a steed, sir! It is not some common mule that you ride from place to place. This is a FINE animal, I assure you!" Helen got down from Ignatz and, guiding him, handed him to the attendant.

"Uh- Ma'am, this isn't- That's not....This isn't MY job! I'm supposed to be waiting."
"And I am supposed to be in a meeting! Perhaps you recognize this letter, dear sir," she said, pulling the all-important letter from a black leather purse that was strung across her shoulder. The attendant took one look at it and pushed Helen's hand back into her purse. She raised her voice to object, but he simply said, "Not here ma'am. Go up those stairs, to the right, up the stairs, to the left, and show it to the men THERE. But not here. That would be dangerous."

Oh, how exciting! This feels like a spy movie, Helen thought. "Okay, sir, thank you!" Turning, she began her ascent.

She didn't hear the confused attendant calling after her in frustration, to remind her that he was NOT a licensed horse handler.

By the time she reached her destination, she was out of breath. God should not have made so many stairs in that building...Or he should have at least had the architects put in an escalator...Good riddance to their 'chic design' or their 'Victorian architecture'! Bah! Style is only good if it is functional!

Showing the letter to the guards, she was guided into the large room that lay within (for she could not find the will to stand anymore). The guards were also exasperated with her performance, but understanding that she DID live in the emotional center of their world, and was thus irrational and prone to fits, carried her. Their understanding did not make them gentle, and they jostled her as they escorted her to the war room. She was ignorant of the other people in the room as the guards tiredly set her on the floor (They did not even have the decency to set her in her chair! How rude!)

And she lay there, tired from running all the way up the stairs and wanting to rest a minute. When she raised her eyes, she looked upon the other people in the room.

Two children, and a thug on a bike. She paid no mind to the demure looking girl, and instead put her head back on the floor. Mustering her dignity, she got up and dusted herself off.

Boy, do they all look uncivilized...Don't they have any dignity? Although they do, at least, look rather interesting...

Achelous had gotten a letter a few days ago explaining for him to go to the capital of Harmonium, Crescendia. The trip from his home in Folkloria to the illustrious city of Crescendia was a long one, which would take only around a day or two on horseback all the way from Folkloria, but since Achelous was above average in weight, and seeing that he'd brought his shield along with him, the horse had a fairly hard time lugging a cart that held Achelous' shield to get to Harmonium. In total, he'd taken about three days to get there, luckily, Achelous didn't have much problems on the road as he was coming to Crescendia

Once Achelous had arrived, the towering buildings made from white concrete, filled with arches, and columns, with large buildings, which are probably concert halls or even homes for the wealthy. Compared to the buildings in Folkloria, these buildings had columns all around, with many arches around the doors, windows, or even roads! Achelous was shocked at the sight of the concrete they had used for these buildings, comparing them to the wood walls and floors to those living in Folkloria. Not only that, the serenade of the quacks of the ducks in the ponds were so mesmerizing for Achelous. He'd never seen things like this before in Folkloria, and if you'd have seen Achelous' face, you'd think he was a tourist, and was there to visit.

Honestly, since it was Achelous' first time in Crescendia, he didn't actually know where the Council HQ would be. It could have been any of the buildings in Crescendia for all he knew. As the Folklorian would walk around the city, looking for the Council HQ, he would notice this large white building, made with what looked to be marble and steel, decorated with columns and arches, looking like it had come from Greek architecture. Not only that, windows encompassed the entire building, having an amazing view of the entire city from that one building. Most importantly, the seven flags of the regions of Harmonia fluttered in the winds.

As Achelous approached the Council HQ, the large ornate doors would open, as a smaller woman would ask him to follow her to the room they would be meeting in. He would arrive again at another doorway, and opening it to reveal more people, those who'd Achelous had never seen before. They were an interesting group of people, and Achelous was fairly interested on what would happen as a voice spoke up from the other side of the table.

"Good Morning, Sir Ruaidh. Please, take a seat." She would say to him. Following her instructions, he would sit down on one of the seats, waiting for whatever was going to happen to begin.

A nice day.

That's all he wanted. A day of chill times. And yet... No. The Council wanted to see him. He didn't expect that letter. Not anytime, considering the people he knew. But still, they wanted him. He didn't care though. He wanted to be seen, and so, he went to Council HQ. It was something that got in the way of things. Oh well. It happens. Half the time, he was alone, wondering what could be, and this was something that could be. A chance to make something for himself. One word sprung to mind.

A hero.

That word, it echoed to him whenever he read that invitation. He could be a hero, considering of his past, and what happened. But, he wasn't ready to share what happened to him. Not yet, not now. Not the right time.

*
"Hey, I'm Poe Winchester, and I'm here with the invitation."

He handed the invite to the receptionist, who took it, and read it. "Ah, of course! Head to the War Room, to get started. Have a good day!"

The elevators, being from Technosymphonia's own design, took him to where he needed to be in minutes. The War Room. This was where the meeting would occur. What was it about? This, and many other questions swarmed in his mind. But, that was no matter to him. All he could do, was wait. As the guard knocked on the door, he wondered...

Why was he here?

Elara tapped her watch impatiently for what felt like the umpteenth time in the past 12 minutes. A lot had transpired since Seb and Zara's arrival. First, an alert in her earpiece had warned her about an unidentified vehicle hovering in Harmonius' airspace for over half an hour. It was rapidly approaching the War Plan Room's window.

With a knowing smirk, she'd ordered the temporary deactivation of the protective barrier around the HQ, making way for a daredevil's grand entrance. The protective operative, though reluctant, complied. Just as expected, the thrill-seeker crashed through the window to the shock and awe of Zara and Seb. They'd practically levitated with surprise.

Using his rumored rewind or reverse spell, he quickly repaired the shattered window. "Ever the showman, I see," remarked Elara nonchalantly as he displayed the letter she'd written. "Thank you for the entrance, Highway King, though next time, consider the front door."

Seb, still recovering from the Highway King's heart-stopping entrance, noticed a familiar-looking lock of red hair out of the corner of his eye. A girl resembling someone from his past was here, wearing an electronic mask and with a subtle robotic twang in her voice. Her left shoulder bore faint scars. Elara's mention of "Your family will not be informed of your presence" puzzled him. The Vanguard was proving to be an intriguing ensemble.

As if this weren't enough, Hellen Belle, the famed singer herself, was unceremoniously deposited at the door by two guards. Exhausted and likely bewildered, Hellen was promptly offered a seat anywhere she liked. Her horse, brought to reception with her, would be taken care of as a courtesy, though Elara was curious about the circumstances leading to Hellen's current state.

Elara was preoccupied with a man from Folkloria who'd arrived after Hellen. Seb seized the opportunity to approach the celebrity, his excitement mounting. This was his chance to converse with the one and only Hellen Belle, perhaps joining her entourage, handling backstage logistics, and managing her fan club. As he inched closer, Zara's vivacious voice filled the room.

"OH. MY. GOSH!" Zara burst out in rapid-fire excitement as she sidled up to the red-haired girl. "IS THAT A VISORTECH? I've been trying to get one from my Uncle Ernest; he's an engineer in TechSym. They're always sold out! How long have you had it? What make is it? How much would you be willing to-"

Seb, embarrassed beyond words, quickly rushed over and put his hand over Zara's mouth. His wide eyes turned to the masked girl as he tried to muffle Zara's rapid chatter. With his hands full, he silently apologized to the object of Zara's relentless curiosity.

"S-sorry about her," Seb said, feigning embarrassment. "I can't take her anywhere! Please don't mind her." He then directed Zara away, holding her arms under the armpits as she whined like a thwarted child.

"I will not have you embarrass me in front of Ms. Belle!" Seb whispered sternly before offering a sheepish smile to the star.

"Ms who?" Zara asked, her mood still deflated, as she followed Seb's gaze with a squint. "Ahhh, the Opera chick? Yeah, I've heard some of her stuff. Not really my kind of jam, but my friend Rhythm loves her songs!"

Once back at their seats, Sebastian mentally composed himself and began formulating new strategies to approach Hellen. Zara, on the other hand, couldn't take her wide, excited eyes off the mysterious Roni.

Elara sighed and checked her watch, marking yet another bizarre twist in this already unconventional meeting.

Roni watched silently as several more newcomers entered the room things were certainly turning out interesting, she thought to herself. She sat with her thoughts for a moment before an excited voice brought her back to reality, she turned to look at girl as the boy with her pulled her away "it's fine, I'm sure she meant no harm" Roni said gentley to the man, as she took another look she a young boys face and a name popped into her head, "little Seb" she muttered too quiet for anyone to really hear, she thought she'd recognised him when she entered but hadn't thought much on it, worried he might tell her family she decided to not vocalise that she recognised him and instead turned her attention to the girl, "Hello, my name is Roni Jones, the mask was medically prescribed to me after I was in an accident around 9ish years ago, I'm not actually sure of the make, never bothered to check" whe stated in response to some of the girls earlier excited remarks. When the earpiece she was wearing buzzed suddenly, she lifted her prosthetic arm and swiped at the forearm revealing a screen, she read the incoming message before sighing audibly, "for god sake, I said to make sure he cancelled all my events" she muttered before quickly typing something then swiping the screen away and turning her attention back to the girl.

Mavis wandered through the streets of Crescendia, still mentally checked out from the long trip she had taken from Rhapsodia. The familiar sights felt simultaneously stifling and revitalizing to her. After so much time spent in Rhapsodia’s vibrant townscapes, it felt almost nostalgic to return to the grand pillars and elegant arches of Harmonium. Still, the atmosphere of the place remained far too stiff for her.

She straightened her back as she reached the gates of the headquarters. As she stepped inside, she was greeted with the most opulent hall that she had ever seen. Even the concert halls my mother performed at weren’t this impressive! A curving dome lined with murals of music scores shot up to the sky, further than she could see. The pillars stood straight and sturdy, carved intricately with scenes of Harmonian history. The way the light shone down felt almost as if she were in a kaleidoscope.

Mavis shook her head. I can’t just dawdle here all day, she scolded herself. I have to head to the War Plan room. After showing it to one of the guards, she was shown up a spiraling set of stairs, which led her to a set of double doors decorated only with a plaque that read, ‘War Plan Room’. She suppressed a shudder of nervousness and pushed open the door.

Inside, she saw seven other people, and her heart sank. I have to make conversation with them? Two of them, the blonde man and the young, exuberant girl, seemed to already have a rapport, while three of the others all seemed like characters straight out of picture books. One seemed like the very definition of a gang member, with a spiked leather jacket and a helmet concealing their true identity. Another was more metal than human, with many of her body parts replaced by prosthetics that looked like the work of the finest craftsmen of Technosymphonia. The last wore frills and bows and dressed like a fairytale princess, and held herself with a proud aura that could only come from years of training to be the best of the best. Before she could stare too long at the group again, she took a seat that was embroidered with a music note coming from a microphone and held her head in her hands. They’re all way out of my league…

The people in the room were interesting, it seemed! And oh, there was a redhead! Helen had not noticed her before. Imagine that; she seemed a bit robotic, and there was something a bit off with her face, although Helen couldn't place it. Just a certain....hm. Oh, well.

Sidling up to the table, she plopped herself down almost dead center, so as to make it easier to be the center of attention.

"Oh, please, please, don't be intimidated. My regal presence must've taken you all by surprise, I'm sure, but I assure you that I don't mind all the noise here. Geeking out over one's interest is never a crime, is it? I say let the lady speak!" Helen projected to the room at large, as she was prone to do in crowded venues or large Opera halls.

"I am Helen Joan Lucille Arlene Belle, although you mustn't call me all that! No need to be formal, Madam Belle will do just fine."

She put her gloved hands together and sighed. "I do say, this is all so very invigorating!"

"I also have a Horse, although I imagine that kind servant must have taken him by now...You shall call him Herr Ignatz, for he is one of the finest show horses ever to grace Harmonia!" Helen seemed mostly to be talking to the man who stared at her, but she was speaking so loudly and openly that to whom she was speaking was open to interpretation.

She was slightly staring at the man and his bike, frowning a tad at his lack of decorum. Riding a bike? Inside? Oh, just how desperate was Elare to get help in making her Melodic Whatchamacallit?

And the almost-children that stand before me...These two can't even be older than 25! And the redhead; her expression...it baffles me.

Are THESE the 'elites' she chose to help protect the realms? I wonder if they are up to the task....

Although Helen didn't really mean what she was thinking; Deep down, she was probably just jealous because she was reaching the hump of her youth.

Folkloria's Watchful Guard

Emi had arrived to find a Mess involving a horse. She went to talk with a attendant, who was stuck with a horse. Emi had experience from having Shel.

"I'll handle this horse, there should be stables nearby." Emi responded, "I am a member of the Folklorian Law Enforcement, and I have my own horse."

The attendant handed Emi the Horse's reins, as Emi calmed the horse down. She then walked the horse to where Shel was, and got Shel.

"Shel, I'll get you to the stables, and we also have another horse to drop off."

Both horses were kept in check by Emi, as she located somewhere not far from the building, as a stable typically has some sort of identifying mark. She saw a building with said mark and let their attendant know she had two horses, and will pick up both later. She then went back to the building.

When she entered the building, she then looked at her letter to figure out where she was going. When she figured it out, she went to that location. She opened the door, and found mostly faces she'd never seen, and one face that looked familiar. She took a seat next to the Familiar Face. However, she had one glaring question.

"Who left their Horse in the middle of the Council HQ?" Emi asked, not amused, "Whoever it was, I ended up helping with the Horse from the bellhop and getting the horse to a stable. Trust me when I say this, where I come from, it is a bit of an issue when you leave a Horse in a building not designed with Horses in mind. I'm not arresting you, but I am giving you a warning. I picked up the horse because I was also looking for a stable myself."

Emi then went back to attention, this was ingrained in her from her training. This woman was giving her a headache, and she worked with very idiotic criminals.

Friedric Johannes Hatfield.

As Friedric finally found the Council HQ, he kept his memories in check, and hoped his brother, Hans, was good. As he went in, he looked around and around, walking in circles until eventually, he arrived, he took a chair with an Axe Guitar and waited. He was thinking right now, and also playing his guitar a bit as he was bored.

"It's been a long time since I spoke with Hans in person." Friedric whispered, "Ever since he commissioned me to find Veronica Hartwell, as her family's butler, I would practice my music when I could during this commission. This commission is especially important, as it was given after my reconciliation with my younger brother."

Friedric hoped no one heard that.

"Hmmmm?"

He heard what the man who was sat a bit away from him was saying. "So, you have a brother, eh? What's he like? I wish I could have a sibling, but hey, stuff like that happens."

He felt rude. "Sorry, forgot to introduce myself. The name's Poe Winchester."

He took his hand out for a hand shake, but his armblade came out...

"Sorry!" he said, while sheathing it away. "These things have a mind of their own." He tried again.

(Big boi post, tyt with this one)

Amid the lively chatter among the assembled would-be Vanguard members, Zara was an unrelenting fountain of enthusiasm, eagerly engaging with Roni, especially after the captivating display of tech prowess. Her infectious curiosity seemed boundless, a testament to her unwavering passion for all things tech.

Sebastian, however, was adrift in his thoughts ever since the enigmatic redhead mentioned an accident. Oblivious to the entrance of another mysterious woman with deep, dark purple hair and anxious gray eyes, his mind churned with fragmented memories. "Nine years ago...?" He couldn't help but feel that the connection was closer than mere coincidence.

Seb's introspection was abruptly halted by the presence of the room's star—the finest among Harmonia's musical elite. Her regal, luxurious lilt swept through the room, and he was rendered tongue-tied, nodding in agreement with everything she said. He resembled a love-struck pup, which didn't escape Zara's attention.

But Zara, the voice of reason, intervened with a sharp smack to his head, jerking him from his infatuation. "Get a grip!" she exclaimed. "You look like you've just come from the... interesting parts of Jazzaria, dude."

"Interesting...?" Seb began, his mind racing to find the connection to his memory. "Oh! You mean Saxdale? Where they smoke -"

"AHEM!" Elara's commanding presence interrupted, her stern gaze chastising the duo. "I appreciate your youthful candor, but remember your manners. You are here on official Council business."

The two shamefacedly lowered their heads, akin to misbehaving schoolchildren, prompting an unexpected smirk from Elara.

Idle minutes passed with the group's casual conversations. Two more arrivals took place during this time—a serious-looking woman and a man with what seemed like an axe guitar. Sebastian wondered if they had been there all along, obscured by his preoccupation.

With the room eventually settling into a more subdued state, Elara rose from her seat at the head of the table. Her hands were clasped behind her back as she prepared to address the assembly.

"Very well," she began, her voice resonating with authority. "I hope you've all had time to introduce yourselves to one another. Now, we shall commence. But first..."

Her eyes briefly closed, and a swirl of enigmatic black mist enveloped the space around her, creating a sinister breeze that sent shivers through the room. As the mist dissipated, a violin and bow, dark as midnight, materialized in her hands.

"Allow me to tell you a story."

(Elara's Piece)

Elara's somber, tragic melody emanated from her violin, and the room was gradually engulfed in its enchanting aura. The enchantment of her music summoned visions, shapes, and ethereal apparitions that danced before their eyes.

Seb began to feel the familiarity of the story unfolding before him. It was one he had heard countless times as a child, or so he thought.

"Many, many years ago, before the Seven Regions were founded, there were the Seven Primordials," Elara began, and shadows began to materialize around the room, intertwining and colliding. "These were ancient, natural spirits who governed different aspects of Harmonia, seeking to protect it."

The story took an unexpected turn, and puzzled expressions crossed the faces of those assembled.

"After countless eons of rivalry and discord, the Primordials turned on one another, causing vast destruction," Elara continued. "As humans began to populate the world, the warring spirits conscripted armies to fight for them. In exchange, they granted humanity the gift of music, ushering in prosperity."

Elara paused, deliberating her next words.

"However, a hero rose from the chaos—our forefather, Harmonius. Together with his comrades, he led humanity to break free from their enslavement, using the gift of music to overthrow the Primordials. After the conflict, the land lay in ruins, requiring immense musical energy to heal and sustain it."

Seb's mind raced as he grappled with the narrative. His understanding of the world he thought he knew was unraveling before his eyes.

"Harmonius sealed the spirits of the Primordials within artifacts," Elara continued. "Special runes that would house their essences, serving as a source of energy to heal the land. These runes were placed across the world, each founding one of the Seven Regions. The first, Harmonium, is named after the hero who liberated humanity."

Elara turned her gaze to Seb, who found himself inexplicably drawn into the narrative. Instinctively, he retrieved his portable golden keyboard from his travel bag, joining his notes with Elara's melody. As he did, he began to see the shadowy contours of a young boy laboring at a grand piano.

Elara continued the story, inviting representatives from each region to contribute to the piece with their instruments and voices. Each individual's relationship with their homeland and their thoughts about it manifested in ethereal shadows.

"These events came to be known as the Harmonic Revolution," Elara elucidated. "The rest, as they say, is history. But I thought it fitting to share the true story with you, as it holds significance for your mission as the Melodic Vanguard."

Elara brought the piece to a gentle conclusion, her violin and bow fading into wispy black smoke.

"These artifacts have been kept in the most secret and undisclosed locations. Only a few individuals in Harmonia know the true history, and fewer still are privy to the artifacts' locations. They are under heavy Council protection and surveillance, as you can imagine."

She turned to gaze at the Harmonium skyline before she continued.

"I'm certain you're aware of the recent attacks in Rhapsodia, Jazzaria, and Harmonium."

Zara's demeanor grew solemn. She was gravely affected by the mention of the incidents.

"We know the group behind these attacks," Elara declared, turning to meet the eyes of those assembled. "They call themselves the Dissonance Conspiracy. While they appear to be a run-of-the-mill abolitionist group on the surface, we suspect deeper motives. More troubling is that they have been getting closer to the locations of the hidden artifacts. We have evidence that they somehow know of their existence and aim to harness their power for their own purposes."

Elara paused, giving time for the gravity of the situation to settle in.

"That is where you come in," she continued. "We have called upon you, among the most skilled operatives across the land, to embark on this perilous mission. As the Melodic Vanguard, your task, should you accept it, is to travel across the Seven Regions, secure these artifacts, and return them here to HQ."

Seb and Zara exchanged a significant look. They were profoundly aware of the depths of their inadequacy for this monumental undertaking.

"We would have preferred to undertake this mission ourselves," Elara admitted, "but our enemy is elusive, well-hidden, and capable of striking from any direction. An official melodic task force would attract too much attention. Moreover, there is a suspicion that there are moles within the Council, passing information to the enemy. Extensive screening has confirmed that you are agents we can trust."

The revelations of extensive screening, the enigmatic Dissonance Conspiracy, and the world's very fate hanging in the balance were a bewildering whirlwind.

Elara sensed their disorientation and assured them, "I know that I've conveyed a lot in a short time. You will have time to contemplate this decision. I will remain here to address your questions or concerns. Your decision, however, must be reached within the next few hours. Time is of the essence."

With that, Elara reclined in her seat, her eyes closing as she appeared satisfied with her presentation.

As the room was starting to fill up and each member of the soon-to-be Vanguard would show their faces, the Highway King examined each of them, his gaze hidden behind the crimson-red visor of his helmet. Many different faces with many different personalities were here. Most seemed to be confused, some appeared excited, some seemed to have an air of importance around them.. or perhaps it was an air of arrogance, instead?

Two particular people he held an eye out to were the two who were already busy being chatterboxes with eachother - the blond-haired guy and the girl with the headphones. While it is true they all had time to introduce each other by this point and talk, Oslo preferred himself for things to just get along as quick as they can. True to his home's culture, he was not one to waste time, be it by idle chatter or by just standing still.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luckily, things have soon came to a short wrap as Elara Nightingale, the one who had called them here, begun to speak up about Harmonia's calamitous past, the plucking and playing of her violin causing a mystical lightshow as visual aid following her own words. But, Philippe only skimmed what he heard by selectively letting things pass through his ears, ignoring the information he already knew. Oh, if only he could speak up and add his own knowledge, but alas, it was much too soon for such for that yet.

The Highway King had already been off his musicycle and was leaning against it by the time someone else joined in on the music - the blond-haired boy, with some sort of piano. How interesting. Oslo figured he may join in, but how would he contribute to this piece, what with how energetic his instruments always seem? ..ah, what the hell, he can figure some way out. Even if his notes may or may not sound a bit out of place compared to the two instruments being played at the moment.

Zipping open the silver bag strapped to his back with one swift movement of his hand and wrist, his Chrome-formed Keytar glittered and sparked in the light as it was released, its black strap now fitted around his shoulder as the Highway King grasped it in his hands. It wasn't often he had used it, given that his cycle was usually enough for his magic to manifest. However, this seemed like a special enough occasion to use it, if potentially just this once.

With the sound of a synthesized electric guitar that sounded as if out of this world with a quiet reverb and wavy pitch, Oslo performed his own little solo to accompany the tunes of the violin and the piano, the ever-changing tempo and pitch of his notes interweaving themselves into the former duet, the shadowed outline of a man without many details playing a keytar, the figure of his being and his instrument covered in a mist, revealing only the outlines and not much else. Much like how his past, his knowledge and even his music were shrouded in mystery.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With his shiny instrument now put back in its case and its bag now zipped shut once more, the Highway King would remain standing against his musicycle as Elara finished her speech, now having addressed everyone in the room upon their mission debriefing and the final call of joining ranks with the Vanguard. Of course, for someone like Philippe, this was a complete no-brainer and the latter question hadn't even needed to be asked.

The very moment Nightingale was done with her speech, Oslo hopped back up on his Musicycle as it revved up with a synthetic jingle, like some sort of futuristic machine whirring to life. Neon lights sparked to life from its parts, lighting up all the blackened parts that gave quite the sci-fi accent to the musical vehicle. For the Highway King, there was only one path to take, one road to drive: Forwards. And he would make this known with the only word he'll need to speak out for this moment, the pitch and tone of his voice muffled and seemingly modified by his helmet to avoid giving away his already-plenty-unknown identity with some sort of voice augmentation tech, courtesy of the same guys who worked on his musicycle.

" Ready. "

Mavis nearly jumped when the woman’s commanding voice echoed through the room, interrupting two of the other participants’ banter. She glanced around herself nervously, trying to summon the bravado she held while onstage to no avail.

That same woman, whom she had now identified as Elara Nightingale, the person who summoned them all here, once again cut through the others’ chatter with her voice, causing her to wince. Her force of will is certainly… powerful. She leaned forward intently as Elara manifested her instrument, and began her story.

The melancholy drawl of her violin immediately enraptured Mavis. As Elara continued her recitation of Harmonia’s history, including a few details of the era before recorded history and of the special artifacts that held tremendous power, Mavis could feel an urge in her bones. I want to sing! She stayed quiet, uncertain if she would be allowed to join in.

When she heard the blond-haired man join in, she let out a breath that she didn’t realize she was holding. She sang along, feeling the melody before she heard it and harmonizing accordingly. Before her, she saw the lively energy of Rhapsodia intertwining with the sturdy reliability of Harmonium, twisting itself into shapes before her. A piano, a microphone stand, and other instruments flashed in front of her eyes. She smiled, sitting back down as Elara’s piece came to an end.

Mavis wasn’t quite prepared for Elara’s next lines about the terrorist organization. An organization that seeks to overturn Harmonia’s society… If the group truly has eyes and ears everywhere, even within the Council… Her thoughts immediately jumped to her mother, but she quickly shook away her worries. Mother’s capable, even at her old age.

She couldn’t help but feel horribly underqualified. Out of everyone here, she appeared to be one of the most sheltered and almost certainly one of the youngest as well. From what she had gathered of the others’ abilities from their performances, they all covered bases that she couldn’t. Yet, some part of her longed to join the group. Perhaps it was because of their warmth; even when she played with her music group, the adoration she received from fans and the respect from her groupmates always felt cold. And this would give her a chance to prove herself on her own merits…

“I’ll join as well,” Mavis responded, raising her head to make eye contact with Elara. Her eyes were steeled with resolve, quite uncharacteristic of her, but her words were genuine. “This would upset the livelihoods of so many… I can’t let that happen.”

Well, damn. A lot of things were interesting about that, he couldn't lie. An organisation... seeks to overturn Harmonia's society... The Vanguard...

It was an interesting proposition, he couldn't lie. It scared him, but also excited him, it filled him with adrenaline, but also drained him of all the energy in his body. Well, he felt scared, but he couldn't back down to his fear. He turned it into fuel... the need to go on.

"I think I have heard of this organistion of which you speak." He stood up.

"It was the talk of Technosymphonia, but I hear they are recruiting there. Their technology is just the beginning, however, as they can exploit that. If it fell into the wrong hands... I just cannot allow that to occur. I'm in. I'm all in, until the end."

He sat down. That information, if true, could prove valuable. He just hoped it were so.

Achelous who had been sitting down on one of the chairs, had watched as more and more people would arrive inside the room. One person of note was his good friend, Emi Rocksong. His flew glowed with excitement and started speaking to her.

"Emi! It's so nice to see you here! I'm very happy to have you here as well, good friend!" His smile was large, and VERY visible. Clearly excited that she was here, since they'd have spoken to each other many times before, in more casual situations in Achelous' own home.

As Achelous looked around the room, he would see many very interesting people, with clothing which Achelous hadn't dabbled with before, clearly from different regions all around Harmonia. It was so diverse, it was unbelievable to Achelous, since he'd never usually left the forest for so long, leaving both of his parents to stay and watch their family home while he was gone.

Soon enough, the person who had called them here, Elara Nightingale, would start to speak. From her violin, a beautiful but very clearly somber song played through the entire room. Like magic (which it is), apparitions would appear, following Elara's words as she spoke about Harmonia's history, and its very eventful past. Starting from the Seven Primordials, as Elara called them, which brought harmony to the land, which then took a turn for the worse, when each of the Seven would attack each other, ruining the land which they now call Harmonia. The humans would also participate in this war of bloodshed in exchange for the magic they use now in their current time.

Finally, things took a turn for the better. The hero of this tragic tale, Harmonius would arrive with his comrades, and using the magic bestowed upon them, overthrew the Seven and apparently trapping each of them into a relic, placed in each of the seven lands of Harmonia. Due to the war, the land was decimated, and with the help of these Seven relics, healed the land of Harmonia which they now stand on. Elara would refer to this as the Harmonic Revolution, starting a new era of humans, past the era of war and fighting. Following the lead of his fellow comrades, he would take out his specially carved harp, and started to play an upbeat tune, which felt calming and blended well with the other music. Unlike the other apparitions, there were two human shaped figures which Achelous created. One clearly representing him, and his close friend, Emi.

At the end of her beautiful musical piece, she would finally explain the true reason they were there. They were to get all of the seven relics and bring it to Harmonium for safe keeping by the Council. According to Elara's information, the group, the Dissonance Council, is trying to wreak havoc on the Harmony their elders fought so hard to keep. Of course, Achelous would accept.

"Miss Nightingale, I will accept. I cannot just stand by and watch as these people destroy the home our elders fought so hard for." Achelous' voice was serious this time, very different from his normal conversations with others. He was fully determined, and ready to give one hundred percent just to protect as much as he can in Harmonia.
