With the battle done, both Amaryllis and Origami began to glow. When the brightness faded, it revealed a Hydreigon and a Leavanny.

Evelynn glanced over at Marilynn. "Who are you?" The teenager responded, "Marilynn. Marilynn Lisana."

Colress opened one of the cabinets, took out some blueprints, pens, and some tools, and fetched his high tech laptop from a drawer. He took out his remote again and pressed a different button. What looked like a part of the wall opened up, revealing a small vehicle. Colress got inside and turned the vehicle on. He drove straight through an open window. The vehicle flew in the air and slowly went down. Once they were far away, Colress drove the vehicle as far away from the HQ as possible, as far away from everyone. He didn't worry; he had everything he needed to stay alive and complete his plan. He fortunately even had the blueprints of the machine he built and the serum maker. Someday, he will return.. But until then, he will stay in the shadows.

Well. Well well well. Phog was left in the dust, as usual. "Uh. Whatere' you lot doing doing next? Tackling gyms? Because, I seem to be the only active Plasma agent on file, and without Colress..." A little smirk creeped on his face. "Do I own Plasma now?"

Amy smiled as her friends' pokemon evolved. She didn't even take out her pokemon. It was over so fast... She looked over to the spot Colress' pokemon were, but they were gone. Meanwhile...
All six of Colress' pokemon went after him. He told them to do so if something ever went wrong with the plan, so they did as they were told. Metagross, as usual, was slow compared to the others, so he kept on using agility every once in a while. Rotom was using hydro pump on the floor to help himself catch up to Colress. Finally, they got to the emergency spot Colress said they should go to if there ever was a problem... Colress was standing there next to the vehicle, smiling weakly. "At least you made it here," he told his pokemon, returning them all, one by one. He started to think that if he didn't want to stay hidden for the next couple of weeks, he should change his appearance and personality for the time being.

Valmont returned to the room that everyone else were in, "well Colress escaped..... but one thing for sure is he will return, and when he does he won't find this base...... follow me, you two Phog, unless you want to die that is..." he said as he walked slowly to the exit, followed by Phobos who looked like he was ready to attack at any moment

Lady smiled at Bolla and Big Daddy, "Come on, let's go find Dad."

Tyler, on the other hand, walked up to Valmont and hugged him, "Thanks man."




"Pearl, use hydro pump," Ego said quietly. He watched as the blood and dust disappeared, even the deepest stains being removed by his Feraligator's hydro pump, the water then being evaporated and incinerated by the heat coming off Zard's flame thrower. He didn't regret reviving his Pokemon for this task. He only regretted the rash actions he took. He didn't deserve to be champion. And now with the evidence of his crime gone, Ego grabbed his badge case from his pocket. He started at it for a long time, and tucked it back where it belonged, "We're not going back to the elite four."

Zard looked up and nodded. Ego was surprised that his original starter Pokemon was okay with that, "Y...You're alright with that? I mean, I promised you back in Pallet that I would defeat every champion and..."

Zard nudged Ego's shoulder with his head. Ego smiled, "You're the best. You all are."

Valmont smiled, "I should be thanking you, I was gonna betray Plasma once the serum was 100% complete but if it wasn't for you that would have happened months from now" he said as he placed a hand on Tyler's shoulder

Tyler looked to Dusk, "Let's go Dusk. Don't attack Mr. Skyland if he decides he wants to kill me, okay?"

Lady hugged Potchy, "I can't carry you anymore."

Potchy huffed and ducked. He went under Lady and stood, which made her squeal now that she was on his back. She giggled, "Well I guess you can carry me. On ward! Let's go guys!"

Lady was the first out the door, with Bolla and Big Daddy behind her.

Ego turned when he saw footsteps, his solemn expression turned to happy smile, "Ladybell!"

Potchy skidded to a stop, and fell over onto his butt in front of Ego, his tail wagged as Lady got off.

Ego returned Bolla and Big Daddy to their pokeballs, and saw Valmont. He tensed, but Tyler ran out towards Valmont, and have a timid smile to Ego.

"Valmont saved our lives," Lady said quietly, "And the guy with the scars is Ty."

"Tyler?" Ego blurted out, "But he...."

"Plasma kidnapped him," Lady said softly, "But we're okay now. They're both scared you're going to kill them."

Ego winced at Lady's choice of words, "I'm not going to do anything to them as long as you say they're okay."

He still gave them a pointed look.

Valmont walked over to the Two and looked back to see if anyone else was following, he looked back to Ego and said "Pleasure to meet you Mr. SkyLand, I'm Valmont, sorry about our battle.... I tend to have a short temper...", just then did Phobos come out of Plasma HQ

Ego gave a curt nod, "It's alright...I'm Kamon Skyland..." He looked for a loss of words, and awkwardly scratched his head, "Your battle today showed me...how much danger my daughter was in because of my actions...and I'm retiring as a trainer because of it."

Lady jumped, her eyes wide, "What? But Dad-!"

"I could have lost you," Ego said in a small voice, and I'm not going to allow that to happen again."

He glanced over at Valmont, "What was wrong with your Pokemon? I've never seen a Pokemon do that before."

Valmont looked puzzled, he didn't quite understand what Kamon mentioned, "if your talking about it surviving 3 super effective moves it's because of this" he said as he pulled out a real serum from his Lab coat "other than that I don't know what you mean" he continued as Phobos came and stood next to him, occasionally glaring at Valmont

Valmont looked even more confused but didn't care, "I'll keep that in mind, by the way am I the only one in the mood for coffee?" He asked, Phobos gave him a 'are you serious?!' Look, the coffee scent coming off of his cousin was overwhelming and yet he was in the mood for more

In one quick movement, Phog snatched the vial of serum out of Valmont's hands. "HA! Now with this, I can...Power up my Pokemon or something? Maybe I can hire a different scientist or something?" Either way, Phog wasn't going to let his role go to waste. Maybe he didn't own Plasma, but he could do his own team! He had the funds, right?

"Alright, while staying and chatting with you lot would be great, I have things to do. See you on the flip side!" He quickly sent out Dri, before grabbing on to the teathers, floating off, the Serum stowed away in his pocket.

Amy was still in the HQ, distracted by a beeping sound. It seemed to be coming from the machine Colress had built. She looked closer. A little screen on it read, 'Self Destruct HQ 0:09'. She heard another beep, and the screen showed '0:08'. Realizing what was happening, Amy ran out as fast as she could. When she got out, she screamed to everyone, "We've got to get out of here, quick! That whole building will blow!" She grabbed Lady and Royal who were closest to her and kept on running away from the building. Amy knew that if she wouldn't, a part of the building would hit her or her friends, and she didn't want to take that risk.

Valmont watched in shock as Phog escaped with the Serum, it was the incomplete one but still, he was even in more shock when he heard what Amy said, "we need to get out quick!" He said as he and Phobos started to run, they caught up with Amy and the others, "any clue how much time when have?" Phobos asked

Amy panted and said, "Well, when I saw it, it was eight seconds, but by now, it's probably only two!" She stopped and looked at the building. They were quite far from it. 0:01. Another beeping sound. 00:00. The whole building exploded. She didn't think it was a coincidence; Colress must have done it to hide his tracks.

Valmont and Phobos both swore under their breath, in fact they used the same swear word, "well I guess there is no point in staying her now tha-" Phobos was cut off as Valmont stopped him from taking another step.
Valmont picked up a rock and tossed it at what looked like nothing, but suddenly in the middle of the air a patch of an electric forcefield appeared where the rock hit and sparks flew around before the rock fell to the ground and the patch was invisible again, "appeared I expected he has been looking into my idea drawer....."

Amy was confused. She had never heard of something called an idea drawer. "What's an idea drawer? And what does it have to do with that force field?"
Amy's mind was all a big mess. She guessed it was a drawer where you put your ideas in, but then why did Valmont have a force field activated?

"It is where I keep my ideas for inventions and other stuff of that sort...." Valmont said.
"Let me guess, you had the idea of an electric force field and left it in the drawer, Colress found it and made it in case the whole self destruct was necessary so that we can't get out if we survive the explosion? Because that is how it looks....." Phobos asked, he received a nod from Valmont

Amy started to worry, but then got a great idea. If one of their pokemon know dig, they could go under the force field! Then she remembered she had a pokemon that could learn dig! Amy took out her TM and let out Umbreon. She quickly taught Umbreon dig by using the TM, and she smiled for the first time since the admin had attacked them. Umbreon started digging. After a few minutes, Amy called out to her, "Are you okay?" There was no answer. A couple seconds later... Umbreon popped up from the other side! "Yes! Solution to the problem! We go under the force field!" Amy jumped into the hole in the ground made by Umbreon.

Lady beamed, "Great thinking, Amy! Potchy! Dig!"

Ego sent out Big Daddy again, "Hey buddy, use dig, we gotta go."

Big Daddy snorted at the sight of the two little dark types digging. He grabbed Potchy and tossed the hound Pokemon to the side, before drilling through the ground and creating a massive hole to the other side. Ego returned Big Daddy to his pokeball, "Right, while Amy is with her Umbreon, we can go through here." He glanced at the hole Umbreon made, "I don't think the rest of us, except maybe Royal, can fit through that one, so we'll use the new one."

Tyler paled, "Uhhh....Dusk...?"

He knew his Liepard liked to go off on her own but....

Amy ran through the tunnel, desperate to get to the other end. When she finally did, she realized she was going to have to climb up. Amy put her feet on stable parts of the tunnel and tried to pull herself up, but couldn't. She let out Gardevoir to help her by using psychic. Gardevoir pulled Amy and herself up and out of the tunnel. Amy hugged Gardevoir and Umbreon. "Thanks, you're the best!" She returned them to their pokeballs. She noticed Tyler's face, and asked him, "What's wrong? Your face is as white as a sheet!"

"Dusk isn't here," He said slowly, as if trying to understand himself, "I know she likes her space and all but...she would have come running after all that...."

Marilynn returned Amaryllis and Origami to their Pokeballs, picked up Royal as she returned Princess, and ran. She ran like the world was going to end.

Evelynn raced after the scientist, a little suprised that she could pick up the plump child. Seeing the giant hole that Ego had made, she ran behind of Marilynn and boosted her forward, shouting, "GO GO GO GO GO!"

Dusk was limping quite badly, lost in the reckage. She eventually slumped down and gave up and stared with narrowed eyes at the stone in front of her.

Valmont looked back, the base was pretty much gone except for the giant hole in its place, he turned to Tyler and said "ill go look for dusk, take this" he handed him an ear device and continued "with this we can keep in contact, now go while I look for her"

Tyler looked unsure, but nodded anyway and pointed a finger at Valmont's chest, "Thanks man. You better come back though- I'm gonna hold you up on those drinks."

Valmont chuckled and said "don't worry I will" and headed off to find Dusk.
Phobos just watched as his cousin went off to find Tyler's pokemon, he wasn't sure whether Valmont has truly changed sides or whether this was all a trick, Valmont was very smart after all and after such a betrayal he had trouble trusting him

The trio ran into the hole, with Bloom and Kenna following them. Amaryllis, in her newly-evolved form, was able to lift one of the females with one of her heads once they got to the end of the tunnel. Once they were out, Evelynn picked up Royal and pulled her into a tight hug. After a moment, she pulled Marilynn in too, as a form of thank-you for helping us.

Valmont searched everywhere for Dusk, he walked around for a while as he took turns left and right, he started to wonder if the pokemon even survived until he found her, "hey there, don't worry I came to help you" he said as he slowly carried her

The Liepard whined when Valmont picked her up, her leg twitching. The gash in her leg was long, but luckily not too deep. She looked like she wanted to attack the coffeeholic but honestly the overwhelming scent was enough to knock the feline out.

Valmont started to head back to the others, he started to think of all the options he had for jobs now that he wasn't with team Plasma, he also started to think of how to stop Colress and Phog.
back with the bunch Phobos noticed that both the tunnels collapsed, "hey the tunnels! Valmont and Dusk are still in there!"

Lady looked scared, "Potchy, dig!"

The hound went to dig but bounced back with a cry- the sheild had gone underground.

"What?" Tyler shrieked, "It wasn't like that before!"
