Lady sat up, took one look at Valmont, and rubbed the back of her head with narrowed eyes. Tyler slowly turned, "Now ladies-"

"AHHH!!!" Lady screeched, shoving Tyler a chair (which he flipped right over), and tackled Valmont onto the floor.

"Shit, Lady no-!"

She has a surprisingly strong punch as she rammed her fist into Valmont's jaw, "You son of a-!"

Phobos walked over and pulled Lady off of him, he then helped Valmont up before slapping him hard, "That is for scaring the living hell out of me!" He said before hugging Valmont, tears leaving his lab coat wet, "h-how could you?! Did you even think of how your pokemon would feel?!" He asked

Valmont looked at Phobos and then at the others before saying "must admit Lunar was quite the good actor wasn't he?"

Marilynn let the Hostile Pokemon out of her Pokeball and whispered an order. Amaryllis ran towards Valmont as if she were going to attack him, before halting in front of him, effectively using Scary Face.

Lady, who had been attempting to calm herself down, lost her shit upon hearing Valmont claim that Lunar was a good actor.

"Lavander," Lady hissed, her flower crown being tossed onto the table, "Play Rough with Lunar for me. As you, Valmont, I'm going to kick your ass."

Tyler got up from the floor and yanked Lady back, put his arms under her arm pits and held her back as she screeched and went to attack Valmont again.

Valmont was intimidated by the hydreigon but not Phobos, he glared at Lady and said "you better stay away from him!" Then looked at Valmont and said "you bastared...... I missed you" before hugging him again

Lady accidentally elbowed Tyler in the face when she tried to break away from him, a look of shock crossed her face, "Oh Arceus, babe I'm so sorry!

Tyler grinned widely through his bloody nose, "Haha! You said it! See we are dating!"

Lady's jaw dropped and she burst out laughing, grabbed a napkin from the table and handed it to him, "You big dork."

Lunar was glad to see Valmont again and started to run around him in circles, Valmont smiled at the Umbreon before turning to the others, "I obviously over did the whole thing but I did mean everything I said" he said as Phobos finally let go of him.

"No joke Val, I threw a coffee machine out my apartment window to avoid sad memories" Phobos said as he wiped off his tears

Valmont looked at everyone before saying "well if it helps I did promise to take you all out for drinks, my treat"

Was this team optimal for Phog?

No.

Was this the only team he could fall back on?

Yes.

Sadly, this rag tag team he scraped up from the remains of Plasma, a singular scientist who seemed desperate for work, and three people he snatched off the street of a port town, was the only thing he could depend on. Even his own Pokemon seemed to grow ever distant to him.

"Sir? Are you alright?" Leave it to Asha to notice his silence.

"Just peachy." He replied. But his voice gave away the fact he was not so.

"And the plan?"

"We attack them as they come out."

"Got it. This is our "Debut" right?"

"Yep. You all did hear that, right?" This was directed at the Three other admins, the rich boy, the sleazy flirt, and the...last one. There nothing obviously flawed about them. Probably harboring something though.

Tyler, with the napkin still put to his nose, said, "I want a double caffeine expresso with butterscotch, cinnamon, whip cream and a ton of chocolate sauce."


Lady, with a 'sorry for punching you' expression, "Anything but coffee is good for me."

"Gottit boss," Dakota said, sitting on her Electrode, "Ready to wreck 'em, Amp?" The Electrode nodded, grinning at its trainer.

Valmont took notes of what everyone wanted, "well I guess I'll get myself a vanilla smoothie..." he said, Lunar stopped right there and looked at Valmont with shock for it was unlikely of him to drink anything other than coffee it it was up to him to decide on a drink

"Got it, be prepared Solar" Alexander said to his espeon as he got ready for when they come out

Marilynn looked at Valmont, shocked, and returned Amaryllis to her ball. She let Zoe out and whispered to her, "Valmont's not going to get coffee for once?" The Reuniclus stared at Valmont, astonished.

"well then lets go" Valmont said as he headed to the door, though what tyler was going for was tempting he had to fix his coffee Obsession.
Phobos just noticed that there where no sign of Caffeine in the air where Valmont was, he turned to the others and asked "im I the only one who doesn't smell caffeine?"

Potchy growled low in his throat. Lady frowned, "Valmont's a friend Potch, we can trust him."

Potchy barked loudly, and barred his teeth in Valmont's direction. Lady rolled her eyes, "Knock it off, Potchy."

Lanvander didn't understand why Potchy was being so weird. She stuck up her nose in the air as if she were posh and walked on ahead to beg for attention from Valmont.

Potchy didn't like the feeling of dread that crawled its way up his spine. He didn't like the smell of danger penatraiting his nostrils either. He just wished Lady would understand that he wasn't growling at Valmont.

"trying to solve my addiction, used to drink 587 cups per week, now I only drink 209 cups" Valmont said.
Phobos was quite shocked at the amount of coffee his cousin drinked, he decided to follow him, after all his cousin was gone for a full year, he had a lot to ask

Marilynn sighed and followed Phobos and Valmont. Like Phobos, she had a lot of questions for her former colleague. Besides, there was a lurking feeling in her gut that was spawning Butterfree and Beautifly like crazy. The thing was telling Marilynn to stay close to Valmont as much as possible. She returned Zoe, and followed after Valmont.

Phobos decided to ask Valmont the most obvious question for a time like this, "so what were you doing during this whole year?".

"not much, rebuilding the Serum machine but took a break from that to raise enough money for the drinks I promised" Valmont replied

"it seemed like you liked coffee, why have you been reducing your weekly amount?" Phobos asked, it was obvious that he was VERY curious

"too unhealthy to indulge that much Caffeine, and lets be honest if I reek of coffee 24/7 will I ever get into a relationship?" he asked his cousin and pretty much anyone who was willing to answer

"well lets say there is a specific someone that I met a long time ago that I want to impress, and well....... coffee isn't the best thing to reek of...." Valmont said.
Phobos looked at the white haired scientist with a questioning look, "so your changing your habit for someone else and not for yourself?" he asked, Valmont nodded, Phobos suddenly had a mischievous smile on his face and asked "is it a girl?"
Valmont suddenly turned red and asked "I B-Beg your pardon?!"

Marilynn was suprised at the direction this conversation was going. She thought Valmont's true love was coffee. "Is it a girl?" She questioned Valmont. Unknowingly, her cheeks were dusted with a slight blush.

Valmont took out his greatball and sent out a Frillish, "guys meet Tide, I caught him months ago and we together practiced some acts for pokemon street preforming" he said as Tide waved at the two

"Uh, nice to meet you, Tide," Marilynn said awkwardly. She grabbed the Premier Ball that contained Reykja and sent the Snorunt out. "I caught this little thing on my adventures through Melilla."

Phobos followed Marilynn, Valmont tagging along in the back swearing quietly because of how embarrassed Phobos made him, "note to self, get revenge as soon as possible" he thought to himself

"Oh please! I'll go introduce myself." Asha obviously had sat in one spot for too long.

"No! Stop! Ugh..." He hired her to act smart. Outside the lab though, she was a total ditz... "We'll move in a minute. Let's just let Asha be...Asha."

As Asha walked over, she plastered a dumb smile on her face. "Hello there! I'm Asha. Pleased to meet you all! I've heard a lot about you all from my boss."

Amy rubbed her eyes. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Valmont was alive? Valmont was walking in the pokemon center? Valmont faked his death?
The answer to all these questions is apparently, yes. She didn't move for a moment, too shocked to speak. 'Ugh, get over the shock,' she thought to herself, and walked over to Valmont. She saw another lady that was talking to Valmont, Phobos, and Marilynn. She said she heard all about them from her boss.
"And who's your boss?" Amy asked curiously.

Potchy was so done with this. Lady knew that Ego had trained him after the whole incident to be a police Pokemon like Grace, but she still wouldn't listen! He growled and upon seeing the new stranger with the same scent, he shoved his way in front of the others and barked twice, hard and loud.

Lavander frowned, Potchg kept on going on about danger and that this new trainer wasn't good. How silly of him, he certainly wasn't getting pet anytime soon.

Lady frowned, "Potchg knock it off- no Lavander you can't just keep- ugh! Lavander return!"

Potchy refused to let anyone move past him. Lady glared at him, "What has gotten into you? Knock it off or I'll put you in your pokeball too!"



Once Flow caught the sound of Potchy's bark, she tensed up and climbed onto Phog's shoulder. She hoped he couldn't feel her trembling as she continued to climb until she was resting on his head.

"um....hello" Valmont said as he examined Asha to see if she is a threat.
"hi, you mind telling us who is your boss?" Phobos asked as he felt that this could not end well


Alexander saw this and chuckled, then took out a golden watch and checked the time, he was getting bored but he decided to wait, after all Asha did go in, maybe the fun will start soon

Potchy finally had enough. He turned and tackled Lady, who screeched as she was thrown to the floor. Potchy's pokeball flew across the room and under a couch. Potchy turned and grabbed Valmont's pant leg and tried to drag him backwards.

"Oh, sure thing! I call him Phoggy, but I think you all know him as Phog!" Her tone was much more condescending and menacing then before as she said that.

"That's our cue!" Barked Phog. "Go, go, go, surrond the area!"

Potchy let go of Valmont's pants and instead started to let a Hyper Beam power up.


He wasn't letting Lady loose sleep because someone died again.

"right away sir!" Alexander said as he headed in, his pokeball ready



Valmont swore as he heard that name and sent out Lunar, Lunar hissed before charging up what looked like a combination of dark pluse and moon blast, "he was one of the people I hoped never to see again..." he muttered to himself.
Phobos did not hesitate at sending out Zen, "tell him he is in big trouble!"
